This is THE premier 80s themed downtown hot spot. The staff is knowledgeable and very professional. They offer VIP bottle service, like no other - very much a Vegas style atmosphere and the dance floor is crazy cool! I highly recommend checking it out!

Not as good since they rebranded to Krush.The throwback songs from the 90s and 2000s were my favorite part of the old bar. Not that its a new place with a new theme its not as good.

This is an 80s themed bar with arcade machines, a large bar and a dance floor. I was told they have a nice patio but I did not check that out.Inside it was clean... with a lot of black lights and screens.Around 9pm a live dj came in..Had issues at the front door when we came in.The owner did come over to apologize for the security team after.They have dry ice drinks that bubble which make for nice instagram drinks.Service was polite and generally friendly.

This is TRULY the best VIP Experience of the Nightlife in Omaha!Amazing Bar, Cocktail and Bottle Service, unique drinks and just an overall amazing experience!I felt like i was at the Roxbury back in the Hollywood!Definitely booking a section with them for my next VIP Section!

80s theme decor in this awesome club will keep you entertained all night! Theres neon colors and mirrors on the dance floor, arcade games throughout the club, and a rooftop patio with a great view! Delicious signature cocktails and good mix of 80s and modern music made for a wonderful night of dancing. Best thing to happen in 2020.

One of the best spots in Omaha. First off, this is one of the coolest places to visit in Omaha. You walk in, and see 80s theming everywhere. One of my favorite movies of all time is Rocky, and the Italian Stallion has a couple really cool banners up. I thought you’d have to stalk up on quarters, but all the arcade games are completely free to play. Ask one of the bartenders, and you can even play original Nintendo games for free on one of the many tv areas they have here. Perfect for boosting your drunk video gaming skills. Around 10 the place starts to really pickup, and by 11 it’s packed! It transforms from a cool 80s bar to a packed club with a DJ and security. The crowd is kind of a mix of college kids up to older adults, I’d say a pretty normal club scene. Also, I didn’t know Omaha had this many good looking girls! They’ve got some pretty good barbecue food, but you have to go up to their kitchen to order it and not the bar. The macaroni and cheese with sweet pulled pork on top killed my New Years resolution diet. As far as prices and cover go, it’s actually probably one of the more economical clubs to drink at. I think beers were about $5 each, and mixed drinks $6, much less than my tab at the Majestic movie theater in town. Upstairs, they’ve got a really cool rooftop bar complete with some really fun outdoor games. I might not be an expert at corn hole, but at least I can blame it on the really cool smoking shots the bartenders gave me. Ask for “dry ice” shots. Overall, I’d say this is one of the best spots in Omaha. If you’re new in town and looking for a fun spot to drink and play throwback arcade games, or looking to tear up Saturday night until the wee hours of the morning and find the love of your life, I’d say this is your spot.

Nice place, nice vibe, okay music, really nice food. Friendly bartenders although from my experience, the male bartenders make better drinks that the females. The buzz doesn’t start till about 12am

The atmosphere is great! Lots of mixed generation uses with the DJs who are out of touch with current music. For a club with a Dance floor the sound quality is my biggest complaint. They place has a decent mix of music but the sound is flat and sounds like a Bluetooth speaker is playing music for the whole club. I asked the DJ why the music was so flat and he replied “management made us turn down the bass.” Seems like a highschool dance for the price you pay.

Went during Latino Friday nights. The place was dead around 11:30pm. The gambling machines are retro and feel homemade.

Ive gone to throwback several times and always had a blast. Recently, I was planning a bachelorette party and decided to do the VIP bottle service. I was surprised to realize the VIP bottle service while being hundreds of dollars included making your own drinks and having to ask for refills of mixers that had sat empty for quite awhile. I would not recommend this experience to another group.

This place was so cool. Takes you back to childhood. You can play any arcade game for FREE!! They also have Super Mario Bros set up to play in multiple places!!

Its really small and has barely any sitting room if you dont pay to reserve a section. The drinks are okay. Its nice for throwback nights or when you want to dance😊 I do not like the fact they charge a cover on the weekend but a lot of places do anymore.

We had an amazing time ! We reserved a section for my husband birthday and it was everything we could have asked for. The bottle girls were extremely polite. We ordered 3 bottles and each time they brought us our bottles with the same energy and excitement. Our server checked up on us periodically. Answered our questions honestly and made sure we had a good time. 1000/10 recommended for any occasion of celebration.

We went for the NYE party so things might be different on a regular night. Upstairs outside patio was closed so this review isnt for that area. The staff was friendly, with quick service. The environment seemed fairly clean and the look of the place and drinks were all great. I have been to a couple different arcade bars. This one had free games which was a nice surprise but very limited amount of games outside the VIP area. We enjoyed Ms. Pacman and other games on the consoles but we thought there would be more like different pinball machines etc so we could drink, dance, and play games but that isnt the case. With it being NYE all the tables were reserved and really limited the space available to non-VIP guests.. There was almost no place to sit and unfortunately almost no place to stand. The games available to everyone were surrounding the bar so as it filled in it was weird trying to play the games and was really awkward to have so many people standing around with so many tables empty nearby (early in the night). There was a lot about this place we liked but I would not recommend it for someone wanting to play arcade games and drink. We did decide to leave early at 9pm. The awkwardness of everyone standing in the way of the staff making them have to walk on the empty dance floor to get around while tables were empty was too much for me. Seems like a great place to dance and when more tables are open along with the patio might be a fantastic place. For NYE it sounded so fun but didnt work out for us.

My wife and I went here with some good friends when we got engaged. Richie welcomed us and was very kind and professional. We enjoyed the drinks, the atmosphere, and overall, the service. A great time indeed and will absolutely come back again.

We have had an amazing time every visit. I came here for my 21st birthday, my bachelorette, my husbands 22nd birthday and several other occasions. This is my absolute favorite bar in downtown Omaha. Bri is my favorite bartender shes been here for several of my visits, typically on the rooftop and shes so sweet. Definitely visit her!

The building is so aesthetically appealing. From the outside with the patio chairs to enjoy the weather, all the way to the dance floor being a vibrant and a place to get loose. The staff is very welcoming. I love the drinks as they all have a special candy/item that comes inside. My friends come to have fun, play games, and eat. Sometimes we have so much fun we forget to go home when it’s time. The food is also great with a black chef!

Cool place with 80-90s songs playing. The place start crowding up after 10pm. Theres plenty of options for drinks and limited options for food as its a club. They have good sitting area, with both tables near bar and sofa area which kind of gives sense of privacy. Their mocktail was good. Staff is polite. Can be visited with friends/colleagues/family.

Ive been dying to check this place out for ages, and finally got the chance!!!! Drinks were DELICIOUS!!! And so well priced!! The dance floor is sick as hell! Cant wait to come back and maybe try some snacks as well!!

This was such an awesome place! They have a bar and games like beer pong, corn hole, and Jenga to play on the roof. Downstairs in the booth that we had they had video games! The ladies that work there were so so friendly! The drinks were delicious, and the bartenders were very helpful in helping pick drinks. This was an awesome place to go and have a fun night dancing and hanging out around great vibes!

The drink menu offers a great variety of throwback theme drinks that are very delicious. They also have a variety of shots that taste amazing as well. The times I have been there I always have fun and everyone at the bar has always been welcoming. :)

This place is terrible. $10 cover and very limited game selection. Came with $40 and I paid cover for 2 people and bought 1 beer and 3 shots and I had $3 left. The only good thing I can say is they had a cool dance floor. I honestly dont know how this place stays open since it just seems like a quick cash grab. I honestly wouldve had more respect for this place if they gave their bouncers guns and had them say Give me all your money. This place only has a 3.9 star review because I found evidence their staff is leaving reviews. If you go here, youve been warned. Consider taking out a 2nd mortgage.

We rented a VIP area and the owner was super helpful in helping set it up, they worked with me on my group size and responded to emails immediately. We had one of the best nights ever! The Host were amazing, everyone was great, the drinks were delicious and beautiful, we definitely recommend coming here for a night out. they have a little something for everyone.

This is my favorite club to go to. The staff is all super nice and supportive. Everyone works hard to make sure people have a fun time. Their drink menu is super unique as well as the atmosphere. The music needs to be louder and I realize it’s “throwback” music…but come on….plus I swear people dress better when they go to Walmart…let anyone in wearing anything looking a mess. However bartenders, waitstaff, management…good people and the peeps running the kitchen …..they are the best !!!

I think the atmosphere is beautiful and engaging. Nessa our waitress was polite and efficient and she was knowledgeable. As a person who makes drinks at home, their house drinks could be a bit stronger but their presentation was cute. The have games and two floors, the top being a balcony. I would definitely come again.

First time out in Omaha and had the best time dancing and meeting their great staff all while celebrating a big event with lifelong friends. From the music to the food everything was on point and made us smile the entire time to the hospitality of the management staff and the friendliness and helpfulness of the servers and everyone around you can tell that this was a class act corporation and they truly have thought out every detail that they have put into making sure it’s a great experience for everyone no matter the age or the reason for celebrating. We hosted our company event at Throwback just last week and they were absolutely amazing to work with. They were fully staffed, took care of everyone in our company and were so accommodating on every aspect-bringing in themed food, opening early for our group, etc. It was SUCH a cool staple to Omaha to host our event there and the bar was very clean. Highly recommend making a stop there!

Cool dance floor but needed to be dimmed a little. If the lighting was dimmer it would have made the place pop. DJ was average and the mix was sub par. I was expecting great throwback 80s music....well if he would have played the entire song it might have been better. I DJd during the 80s so I may know a thing or two. Getting frisked on the way in didnt start the night off too comfortably either. Waitresses wearing sill skimpy one piece leotards was a turn off. I felt uncomfortable the entire time. Only cool thing was the dance floor....which was too bright. It you are under 30 then you may like this sort of thing. West Omahas version plays the 80s music better but even that was too loud. Oh well. I need to go take a nap now 😉

Cool looking place, but they had a big sign outside advertising a rooftop cigar bar. When we went to buy cigars, we had to go back downstairs, and an employee asked us what flavors we wanted. The rooftop was completely devoid of lights, and there were people playing Cornhole in the dark.

I love coming to dance at the throwback. My friend and I have made great connections with bartenders, managers , and DJ Rebirth here, and we’ll come as long as they rock 80s and 90s music🤙🏼

Went to celebrate a friends birthday over here and I was blown away by how nice all of the staff were. I cant remember being to a place in DT Omaha where the bartenders, servers, and security were so nice and helpful. Probably the most aesthetic and clean bar Ive been to in downtown Omaha. Good vibes from the bar to the dance floor to the smoke/games deck and even the crowd, unique, fair priced drinks. I hope this place will be around for a long time and they keep doing what they are doing, it just works.

Throwback Thursday to the “Throwback Arcade Lounge’s” New Year’s Eve celebration! I had the best time there bringing in the new year and I absolutely loved the atmosphere, the music, the service and the drinks! It brought back lots of memories and I’m dying to play “Ms. Pac-Man” again! Hopefully next month for my birthday! 🥳

Such an epic vibe when you walk in. Free arcade games, some really amazing staff, delicious drinks, great music, one of a kind dance floor, they even have gourmet hot dogs!! One thing I can’t wait to try out is the bottle service in the VIP booths. My friends and I will definitely be booking a party very soon.

This is my third time at this establishment and they have never failed to impress! Good music, reasonable prices and breathtaking aesthetic. This is a place you will not regret visiting.

Dirty bathrooms, sticky tables, and absolutely horrible pricing. Co2 tanks right by the smoking area makes this place extremely unsafe. The only reason 1 star is okay is because the bartenders are awesome. I’ll continue going to Retro Rewind where there is no cover and the drinks aren’t outrageous in pricing.

This place is such a VIBE, I checked out the website and looked super fun for all my friends to go out and have some fun. I didn’t see any Janga or Beer Pong though, all the men that were with me mainly came to play beer pong but we didn’t see it anywhere. Not sure if that’s a seasonal thing but would be awesome to have for guys who don’t like to dance. Other than that I would go again!!

Went here to try somewhere new in omaha to have a fun night out and was gravely disappointed. Their so called security guard tried to fight my husband and proceeded to tell him to go outside to fight that he didnt care about the job and didnt care to loose it. When telling the manager she did nothing to the security guard at all. Thats terrible management if I ever seen it. Id love some feed back from someone. Would love to try the club again but not if you cant ensure the safety of your guests or keeping such terrible staff!

So I was visiting for vacation looking for fun places to have fun on a Friday night. When I arrived at the door I was informed that I could not wear a jersey or anything affiliated with sports.. the most insane policy that I have ever heard of. I understand if it was life threatening, but a Jersey c’mon now. If I ever come back to Omaha this place will not even be an option for me to visit like ever again. And to the owner of this place you should be ashamed of yourself because what will a Jersey do to your business. I’m so happy businesses in the South don’t operate this way. Because last I thought this was a free country and we had the right to wear whatever we please as an individual.

Bri is the best bar tender the world has ever seen. Every other bar tender will be put to shame and frankly be embarrassed that they are not her.

Bar was great but I watched the security guard call the cops on a guy cause he thought his ID was fake and it wasnt. I cant recommend anyone going out and dealing with that... So ill have to give it 2 stars because the point is to go out and have fun not get harassed over a legal ID.

Nice venue, the roof top access is sweet! The only bad thing about this place which was pretty big. You cant go to the bathroom upstairs or downstairs without smelling sewage, burnt hair, hotdogs, tuna.. Seriously the most disgusting thing ever

One of Thorwbacks bouncers denied me entry due to a can on their premise. Throwbacks itself looks very entertaining The bouncer denying me entry because I walked near the premise with a can and that automatically denied my entry. Im sorry but if this is the kind of culture you want to instill around your establishment then I would not be able recommend this place to anyone. This was the main gripe I had with the experience, due to one of the bouncers who was completely unreasonable. I have never had such an inconvenience due to holding a drink around a premise. My problems with the establishment are solely through who they employee on their bouncing staff as various employees are completely incompetent and ruin the appeal of the venue.

I had so much fun here! I loved the bottle girls, one in particular Tatyana. So beautiful and sweet! Dance floor is a total vibe. Just the overall experience was great. Well worth going!

Throwback lounge is the club to be at in Omaha. It’s a great experience. The 80’s vibe is sick. It has a ton of 80’s memorabilia. The staff is wonderful. It has a spectacular VIP section where you feel like a celebrity. Definitely recommend coming to throwback.

Throwback just opened there rooftop and its such a nice vibe up there. all the games are free and the dj be playing some great 90s songs. i believe their kitchen just opened so the munchies smacks when you need a quick snap. def recommended going w friends especially during thursday’s since you do get a free bottle of champagne when you come in with 4 girls!!

I was excited to finally try Throwback out. As I was walking to the door there were 4-5 security guards discussing whether my flat cap was acceptable. It was. As I shimmied through the gauntlet of security I was told there was a $10 cover. I thought this was a lounge not a club but whatever maybe it’s worth it. I bought a Guinness. They only had it in a can so I asked for a glass. Bartender lazily rubbed a dirty glass and handed it to me with fingerprints all over it. I went upstairs to see what they had to offer. I saw cornhole and connect four and some tables. That’s it. Empty dance floor, cliquish people, NO DJ!! What was the cover even for? To pay all the security guards. There were half as many security as there were patrons. Maybe there’s a lot of fights. They’re hat rule is ridiculous. Do they know ball caps were around and popular in the 80’s?TLDR don’t waste your money here.

I don’t make it out often but when I do, it’s Throwback for me. Every time has been a hell of a good time with great vibes. The rooftop opened and knocks it out of the park. Keep up the awesome establishment which is in a league of its own!

The bar is advertised as an 80s throwback bar, but that is strictly for the facade. They do not play ANY 80s music. All they play is 2000s-90s rap & hip-hop grinding music. Everyone on the dance floor is so high that they either dont know that they are there or they want to fight. Its ridiculous and unpleasant!

For being a new club I’m shocked how small it is upstairs was pretty cool but no music at all witch made it pretty boring to sit up there. I have to add the cover is 10 but the will switch up and guys have to pay 20 idk what made this club so special to charge that much but 🤷🏾‍♂️

I attended the soft opening of throwback arcade lounge and I can tell that it will be a great success in the downtown district of Omaha for locals and visitors. The concept is pretty simple- it can be a little bit of everything and fills a niche in the downtown space. Whether you’re looking for a casual night playing arcade games and Nintendo with friends, enjoy a summer evening on a rooftop lounge, or you want to have bottle service and a hot dance floor for a special occasion- this place has it all. Unlike many clubs and lounges they also will have a snack bar for food- Perfect to soak up your alcohol before you head home for the night. The music selection here is also great- if you grew up in the 80s and beyond there will be music here that you like. Everything from Prince and Madonna to Cardi B and Beyoncé. As long as they can provide good clean service to the city of Omaha they will do so well here!

The bar was decent, drinks were priced well. No dress code posted online. Dont wear a hat because you will have to throw it unceremoniously on a table near the door. Theres no system to confirm that a hat is yours when you retrieve it. When you decide to leave, chances are you wont find that hat. I didnt find my hat.

Even while being an 80s themed venue, theres something that absolutely everyone will enjoy- from your favorite throwbacks of music that progressively become more current throughout the night, the suuuper trippy and unique dancefloor, free-play old school arcade/Nintendo/PS games, specialty drinks and signature hot dogs, all the way to the staff- this place is for sure an elevated experience!!

Been going to Throwback Arcade Lounge regularly since throwing back a ton of beer there on New Years and closing the bar with all the New Year partyers and its a helluva lot of fun even with the outdoor rooftop patio bar closed until spring. Reminds me of all the parties we threw in the 80s This place is high class and youre missing out if you havent been there yet.

I would really like someone to explain to me the no hat rule. Normally, I wouldn’t make a big deal about when I got told to rudely take it off without any explanation it made me kinda upset. This is the coolest club in Omaha! Great staff and fun music. The tall handsome bartender with a man bun is the best so go visit and get drinks from him!

I love throwback!!! It’s been my favorite spot ever since they opened, everything from the creative drink menu to the lit up rainbow dance floor you’ll be having nostalgia all night (: it’s the perfect 80s themed club!

Lots of fun! Has a girls night there and rented out an area with bottle service and had a great time dancing!

Throwback has taken over downtown Omaha! I was there for the New Year’s eve party and let’s just say I’m already ready for Next Year!!! They have dry ice shots that come out smoking and speciality drinks that are sooooo delicious. Try the Nerds drink it comes with a nerd rope candy i never knew drinks could be so good. The VIP experience rocks! Makes me feel like i’m in Vegas! If you haven’t been I tots recommend enjoying your weekend there the DJs are great!

PAY CASH!!!! They try to not let you close out your tab, That way they can put a huge tip and over charge you. We literally had to demand to close out our tab after waiting 10 minutes and the server was purposely not doing it. Also they just make up prices for drinks, my group of friends all had the same drink but paid a variety of prices. This place is a joke and a SCAM!

Standard nightclub. Not much in terms of arcades. All the cabinents are running emulators which is kinda lame. Bar is pricey even for a nightclub. Entry fee was 5$. Was playing at one of the mini NES stations and got kicked out because someone more important wanted our table.

One of the bartender ordered my friend’s and myself a drink , I ordered a patron margarita and the bartender came back with the wrong ones. Bartender came back with the right ones and gave us a free shot to all of us and left early because we wasn’t feeling the music and went somewhere else. My total for that 1 hour of being there came to $78 dollarsNever ever going there again and do not recommend this place to anyone

Cool place with a great atmosphere. The gentleman working the bar was great, and knowledgeable. The dry ice shots are a rare and neat drink. Will be back.
