I stayed here for a whole week and I absolutely loved it. Our neighbors were Nice lovely people and Mike is a AWESOME GUY 😎💯. OUR MAINTENANCE MAN WAS ALWAYS ON POINT. IM GOING BACK SOON
Great food and amazing entertainment! Try happy hour first to get the feel and then dinner reservations, and you will not be disappointed!
My wife and I loved staying here. It was clean, relaxing, spacious, and friendly staff. We had a 1 bedroom, with a kitchen right next to the pool. We couldnt have been happier. It was a little dated but the cleanliness made up for it. We will stay here again.
Club Trinidad is by no means modern or updated. However, it is clean. The capets appear to be new and the furnishings also appear to be updated. The amenities such as the kitchen could use some modern touches and the decor (bedspread and window coverings) could use some updating to appear more 2022-2023. The staff is very polite and helpful. If you need ti check in late they will leave instructions for key pick up at the front door. You know that smell when you walk into some hotel/motel rooms??? Non existent here 👌🏽 this spot is tucked away, south of the downtown district. I read some bad reviews prior to coming but I am very pleased with my stay so far. Its been quiet even though we have a pool view. We did come mid week though 😉 would definitely recommend.
VINTAGE HISTORIC. Had a wonderful week here; right up to Christmas Day. Clean rooms. Helpful friendly staff. 1 of the pools is currently heated. Hot tub was great. Office does close early in day, but it wasnt an inconvenience. Will be staying here in future.
This place closes at 2pm and is using COVID as an excuse haha. Took us 45 minutes to find this place and even my food delivery driver gave up after 30 minutes so I had to call and help them. Because this place closes early, they put your key in a random mailbox where anyone can grab it. This is the most dangerous thing I can think of and this is the biggest reason Im giving this place such a low rating. Directions to where you get your room keys are confusing and especially at night when it can be dangerous. Highly recommend getting here before it gets dark! As previous reviews have said, this place is very dated. Not modern, but at least its not dirty. They really need to update this place. Overall, this place should 100% not be called a resort, its far from it. Maybe a motel with a kitchen?
Im struggling writing this review. Because there are many nice things about this place but at the same time it is not fancy. The front desk guy Mike, super nice and helpful. This is by no means a 5 star place. But it is very clean. A little out dated. Its like a nice starter appartment. Clean and well kept. For the price it is nice. There is a pool. There is a maintenance man living onsite in case there is a need. I would say he does a good job with the place. Also there is a couple of massage therapist onsite.
Great place to stay with timeshare. Vintage style. Movie and theater stars of the past stayed and lived here. Heated pool is great. Hot tubs a bit rough but feels great.
Four stars because there should always be room for improvement. Yes, the property is dated and yes the folks that stay here are more wise. Have always had a clean space and have never had an issue with anyone that worked there. Oh perhaps the purple room bartender should be more courteous to someone who clearly has never enjoyed the ambiance of the lounge. Did feel ignored by the guy and left. Didnt let it bother me though. Plenty of places with much nicer views to enjoy a refreshment. If its Liquor your looking for. Not far to the west on 111 near downtown is a liquor store. Do wish they had some specials with nearby golf courses like the Plaza resort does. That would be a plus. All in all, very suitable for a weeks vacation stay. Yes, it does get warm here so be prepared with plenty of water.
The buildings are old style with cheap finishes but rooms are big with full kitchen. Pools are nice though there are limited seating near the pool. Appliances are old; We had a hard time turning on the oven to bake a pizza. One big plus was the gym. There is no gym on site but they offer complementary access to a nice fitness center 2 miles away. They also have internet access though the connection drops from time to time.
Dated property. Very firm bed & hard pillows. Nice hot tub! A window in our unit didnt close properly. Nobody @ front desk when checking out to tell. Ice machine appreciated since ice maker in old refrigerator not working. Wifi acceptable. Off-street parking.
Terrific location in historical district. Haven ` t tried the restaurant yet because it was booked solid. If you want to go to Judy Garland night you must make a reservation a month in advance. Staff is very friendly and most helpful. Rooms on first level only have a view from the bathroom window. Basic room with full refrigerator, apartment size stove sofa and dining for 4. Nothing posh about this place except the front lobby and the Purple Room restaurant. We made reservations for dinner based on all the positive reviews on line as well as from other guests. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! Restaurant is 5 star!!!
Quite nice. Not brand new, but updated furnishings and electronics. Like much of Palm Springs, the structures are older and exude the art deco design style of the 60s/70s.All in all, the unit was well-outfitted and comfortable. Good amenities on the premises. Id go back. 👍
This is a small older place, away from the busyness of downtown P.S. The 1st time I stayed there was a little disappointing as I had a studio, the 2nd time was regular accomodation, better. This last time I stayed in the 2 story penthouse, which was great. The dinner club, The Purple Room is attached to the hotel. It has a variety of fun, different entertainment each night. The menu is good and so is the food. The bar is a great place to start the evening but if you plan to see a show you do need to make reservations, as I said, the shows are good. I already have a reservation for early December when I will visit Palm Springs again.
We love staying at Club Trinidad. For those that gave a low star rating, your at the wrong place, you need to book into a resort, a dime a dozen. I personally love the history, to think Lucy and Desi stayed there for months, that the Rat Pack performed there. Now that is some awesome history. Im glad they havent sold out and are keeping the ambiance intact. Bonnie&Fred Canada
It doesnt look anything like the pictures. The pool is completely different and there is no jacuzzi. In the pictures it was round and the one there is a rectangle. There was a big cockroach in the towel that was hanging in the bathroom. However, the staff was so kind! Everyone was awesome!
It was absolutely fantastic the food was great absolutely Gourmet Style the stage entertainment while we were eating was out of this world the servers were very courteous and attentive to any and every item that you might want to have highly recommended and highly recommend going to the purple room the place is noted for the fact that the Rat Pack originated there because they werent allowed to be in Palm Springs because of Sammy Davis Junior at the time Lucille Ball was there at one time Dean Martin and all the rest of them Hotel was clean well taken care of the whole area was very convenient for shops and stores across the street. We frequented as many times as we possibly can.
Weve stayed in a couple of two bedrooms that were comfortable. The studio units are a little small, but probably work great for people who dont want to prepare their own meals and are out most of the time. Not really a very pretty property, but it has a lot of Palm Springs history, and its pretty conveniently located. We rented through RCI and it was reasonably priced as a last minute vacation. I probably would not have been satisfied if I had spent much more on it, but its quite good for the budge accommodation category
If you are hoping to stay somewhere modern and comfortable and spend a lot of time at your hotel, this is not the place for you. This is the motel youve seen in movies where criminals hide out or husbands come when their wives leave them. Its passable but definitely not anyones first choice.Pros: Clean rooms, okay beds, cheap (but not that cheap), usually can find free parking, close to Palm Springs attractions, relatively friendly staff, pool seemed clean although we didnt try it.Cons:- SO outdated (we are talking bedspreads and decor from the 80s).- not kept up well, rooms are dingy and need maintenance (cracks, water damage, furniture in disrepair)- walls and doors are paper thin so you can hear ALL your neighbours plus anyone walking past outside - horrible for sleeping.- WiFi is super slow- showers are made for someone 5 feet tall (I am only 57 and literally had to crouch)-bed is basically in the kitchen and super loud fridge runs all night- sheets feel like sandpaper and many of the towels were threadbare.- AC wasnt working in our room at all and apparently if you turn it below 72 it breaks.-We stayed for 4 nights and our room was never made up.Overall, if its your only option you wont die. Its clean and the beds are half decent, but I would not want to stay here again.
We went to the Purple Room where the Rat Pack started. Fun fun place! They are like an old time Vegas dinner club. There is a combo that performs Sinatra, Martin and Davis era music. Happy hour is great. Food is good. Prices are reasonable. Wait staff is friendly and does a good job. We went twice in the week we were in Palm Springs because we enjoyed it so much!
This is Adriber I will always provide the best and honest reviews. The customer service was great, easy and fast. The room had a small kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, houses size refrigerator and living room with a couch that turns into a bed. The style is like back in the 50s keep in mind that Palms Springs is a city that stayed in the 50s. The pool was like any normal pool. The place was clean. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Is because they could modernized the microwaves or dishwasher. Dont get me wrong they work but the style has to go at some point. But overall good place to stay. As always Im the firm believer of quality over quantity. This is my review and remember always look for adriber for the best and honest review.
This place is a timeshare. If youre looking for a luxury timeshare, this isnt the place. However I will agree with another reviewer that they are consistetly upgrading and renewing their facilities. Latest upgrades are new furniture, beds, kitchen appliances. Countertops and cabinets still need to be upgraded in the 1 and 2 bdrm units. Cons are they do not have a 24hr desk. Pool only open until 10 pm. But otherwise, for the money, this place is great. Also avoid staying in the studio right above the on-site restaurant - The Purple Room. Its pretty loud.
I will try and be consice but words could never finish to describe this place. I think the other reviews are mostly fakes.......We rented the supposed luxury studio and it was a DUMP!!! It stunk, had dirty super old carpet, a broken noisy and deafening ac unit. The bed was full size for a couple!! Which was stupid and the kitchen and counter space was tiny. The bathroom was super outsdated and stained and the tv was 32 inches with no channel selection of quality. The tv was mounted on the wall across the room at like 7 feet tall so we could barely see it. And our fridge was broken upon arrival. Mike from the desk said he had everything else sold out so we could store our food at a Different room until they could fix the fridge the next day. When we asked whos fridge we were using it was and empty room!!! And it was suposedt to be rented the next day, but hey give minutes later he found out it was actually not booked at all... What a coincidence... Nah.. hebis just a bad liar haha ... we complained of the AC and he said the other units ac wasnt that much better, and it wasnt, we stayed in the same room. Quite a dump I must remark. So we stored our food at a different fridge. The next day they brought us a new fridge from another empty room... Not too long later, our TV stoped working, Don got it fixed but it was a very dissapointing experience after the other. Later that nbday at 5pm we rented a DVD movie and our surprise at room arrival there was no DVD player. Well , we call Dawnnon front desk, she comes upstairs and realized the broken noisy ac unit and the missing DVD player. She called her boss and arranged for a new room assignment on the other building, we go a one bedroom apartmen. It was definitely an upgrade. It wasnt stinky, bigger kitchen and counter space and better ac since it was central it wasnt noisily. And also it helped the fact that the hot tub was on that side of the complex. Again the tv was tiny and far away on the wall. My husband couldnt sleep well at all since the beds were too hard and the pillows were even worst for him. The appeal to the eye of this complex was poor and the famous Purple room is closed for the season... Something they forgot to mention. However very nice pool and hot tub. Not crowded at all. The complimentary breakfast was terrible. It was a donut and orange juice... I think that is definitely not a breakfasts.... Mike sucks... Loved Dawn and Don very nice people supportive respective and attentive. Would we stay here again?? Most likely not.
This has been such a pleasant stay for us. We have stayed in many many resorts, and the service we received here is at the top. Edna in the office helped us more than words can describe. I would recommend this resort to anybody. We stayed in a one bedroom and it was very nice. The pools in the resort are also nice. Very friendly atmosphere. Thanks again Edna!
This is a very old spot..the rooms arent updated but clean and have a little kitchen area w dishes, pans, coffee maker etc. Theres a pool, hot tub and a bbq. The prices were reasonable. The man at the front desk was SUPER cool, very helpful and has tons of knowledge about the area. Just beware of the Tues free wine social, its awkward, long and NOT worth the free wine n snacks!
It smells musty. This is not a Resort, by far. It is at most a motel. I found roach droppings in the kitchen cabinets and the floor near the fire place had a thick layer of dust/dirt. I will say on the positive side, the permanent resident who live at Club Trinidad are quiet.
I have stayed at Club Trinidad intermittently over the past several years for business reasons.Club Trinidad is established well established in the Palm Springs community and in its early years was where the “Rat Pack” stayed. That is what drew me to stay there. The resort management is continuously updating the rooms and facility. The staff is professional and friendly. And, stay in a condominium is much more to my liking than staying in a hotel room for several days. This said, I recommend anyone interested in visiting Palm Springs give serious consideration to staying at Club Trinidad. They, in my opinion, provide excellent customer service!
Clean, friendly, quaint, quite. And the staff were awesome!!! I loved this 50s hotel and really enjoyed the vintage laid back feel. Cool vibe. I wish I could give it 10 stars.
Somewhat outdated and not the best of quality, but the benefit of the kitchen is nice. The pools and Jacuzzi are outdoors and therefore presumably seasonal, but they are clean and do not make your eyes burn with chlorine. To sum up, really needs an upgrade/update, but overall a good experience.
We exchanged our week for the week in Palm Springs at the Trinidad Club. That place is just HORRIBLE!!!. It is old and falling apart. We planned to swim and enjoy the pool area, but lounge chairs were so filthy that we didnt dare. Things within the unit were falling apart and EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE - we were NOT able to rest and we have finally checked out earlier. We couldnt even wash ourselves as water kept cutting off. Water pressure was so poor that we had difficulty washing our hands/faces. Toilet area doesnt have fan and the window above tub can NOT be open. Toilet paper holder is BEHIND persons back which makes it unusable. There is art (about 40 x 30) above the bed which fell on us the first night we slept there as it is not well secured to the wall. I was afraid that there were bugs so we slept with light on which of course made difficult to sleep. Bed still has springs and they can be felt each time we turned. Couch is also terrible as every time we set on cushions they would fall in the couch and our bottoms would just hit hard frame.Pan was terrible that our food got burnt on it. I have photos showing sorry state of the unit.VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!! RCI should do better and NOT send people to places like TRINIDAD CLUB (old and falling apart).
Built in 1960, this mid century desert resort was a favorite of Frank Sinatra to visit and on occasion, offer an impromptu performance in the Purple Room cabaret. The CEO of the resort was kind enough to host a reception where he recounted the various stories of celebrity that illuminated its heyday: the saddest was Clark Gable who was so eager to occupy the new complex that he visited frequently during the construction, pressing the developers and architect about its completion date; Gables last checkup found the resort completed and he stayed the night -- vowing to lease a condominium. Gable even had his picture taken by one of the pools (posted here) but unfortunately, Gable would pass away a few months later in Los Angeles. The place is very retro but clean and comfortable. This is a timeshare cooperative but the rooms (mostly suites) are available to rent by the day for other guests. The Purple Room is quintessential Palm Springs Hollywood glitz, complete with celebrity impersonations. I enjoyed relaxing for a week and quietly living in the suite, as it had a full kitchen, dinning area and front room. A Ralphs supermarket is across the street and the club resort is close to Downtown for all your entertainment, shopping and dining options.
What a remarkable SCAM.Where to begin. First of all the woman at the front desk was difficult. Unable to understand her. No eye contact, no smile. Interupted every time we talked. We found her rude. She seemed angry. The room was awful. Something out of a bad 50s movie. The toilet ran all week long. The maintenance workers were also angry and completely worthless, as they could not solve the problem. The maids dont speak english and more than likely stole my wifes necklace. The Purple Room was terrible. The bartender flirted with me and was a little drunk as the night wore on. We had heard the hype about the Rat-Pack and how this was suppossed to be their hang out, but learned via research that this is really just an advertising gimmick. We also noticed that almost all of the time share owners were 60 and up, lonely, and almost all of them were from much colder climates. It is as if they are targeted because they are old and lonely to buy a time share. The weather was HOT. Like extremely sunstroke kind of hot. Like you could die if you dont know what you are doing kind of hot. It was in the 100s in March. Oh and what was even more awful was around noon this old jewish lady hustles everybody for more money. She piles everybody into a beat up white limo and is insensitive, obnoxious and yes rude. If u imagine a saleswoman who cant remember her pitches or her jokes or her morals or her people, this is her. Oh and even better than that the owner of this so called club, spends his days and nights in the purple room getting drunk. We complained about the toilet to him and you guessed it, angry, disruptive, rude, smelled like a bottle of rum complete with alky holic belly and eyes. And even better than that we werent the only owners who had problems. The other rooms had issues with electricity and one customer complained her front door did not lock. Oh later on in the week my 11 year old daughter complained that the maintenence workers were flirting with her.Do your research on time-shares. It is a scam. The people who work at the Club Trinidad are/were probably convicts. We never felt safe.If you have read this far you can do much better than Club Trinidad. AVOID this place, IGNORE their lies.
Awesome, diamond in its own rough
Omg! Just had the BEST massage ever from Carolyn in massage therapy room#115 I will definitely drive back here an hour an half to see her again!! Great place to stay and lots of fun always! P.s. i promise you will love her massage :)
This place is in need of some MAJOR work. AC d0nt work. Dirty stand curtains and floor. Maiden never came. Had to go buy all new pillows cause the ones they have are basically pointless. We left a day early
Its so chill and layer back there, its perfect for people that want to get away and relax!! My friends and I had a blast cooking and just hanging out there over the weekend! I definitely recommend!
Left after 2 days ,wife killed a huge cockroach, guy at front desk didnt seem to want to be there.Would not go back even if it was free.
Differnt strokes for differt folks. Hotel is historical, but it did not make up for that old stale smell, outdated decorations the light from the window that was on all night beaming in the room, the loud window air conditioner, 2 foot bathroom sink that you will be bent over to brush your teeth, unvenilated bathroom, slippery bath tub that I almost took a hard tumble, the view of an alley on one side and roof top pipes and a chair from the other. We left early.
We have stayed here twice. This is great place to stay and relax. Its not like a hotel where its packed with people that you cant even enjoy the pool. This is a resort where a vacation is an actual vacation. I will stay here again and again.
Arthur Brigman is the worst person I have ever met. He had NO idea of how to treat people. He dresses like a slob. Treats his employees like they owe him for working there. All I can say is dont turn your back on him.
Could be much better... Excellent location, and you have all that you need, BUT poor operation, must improve cleaning. Just the basic services. Check your prices, different prices for the same supplies.
Hello was there 6/23 - 6/24....Honestly its one of the worst place I have ever stood in. Clean but EXTREMELY outdated. I cant believe this resort is part of RCI. RCI does not take much pride who they they bring into the program. Never again. At least this was my experience on a studio!!!
An acceptable place to stay for a few nights. A well equiped kitchen in each unit, and the staff was nice enough. But it is also obvious that its not exactly the best kept up place in the world.
THIS WAS THE WORST PLACE TO WORK, EVER! No o/t but they expect you to stay o/t. No sick pay. And even though you request deductions on your W4, they do not deduct taxes, yet they do not tell you they do not do that. What a joke. I bet this place wont be open to much longer. Not at the rate they are going.
We own a week here and have come back for 12 years. It is middle class, for sure, but they do their best. Arthur and Yona look out for you. A grocery store and drugstore are right across the street. It is 1.5 miles to downtown P.S. and 15 miles to Desert Hotsprings with seven outdoor Jacuzzies. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are more than adequate. Go to the Desert Imax and Mary Pickford movie theaters in neighboring Cathedral City, about 8 miles straight down the 111.Dont forget the upscale outdoors market in Palm Desert every Saturday and Sunday morning.
Hotel room was dirty and person at front desk was rude. Arrived a little late around 7 and front desk was already closed had to get our room key from outside mailbox with no guarantee of safety that no one else took a key. Will never go back.
We love this place,4th time here. Close to everything. Older, but very clean. Sad Purple room closed, but covid 19 has closed a lot of places. Hopefully back soon.
This is not the resort experience we expected. It is very similar to staying in a motel room. Clean but old.
Great & Friendly staff, Room was very clean & comfortable.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The condos are a bit dated but clean and comfortable. We had a very pleasant stay!
This resort is very oriented towards elderly retired people that are trying to live their best life. If you dont fit that category, Id say pick somewhere else. That being said, if you do, Live it up!
Place is falling apart. Unkept! Old everything! Got sick due to dirty filters. Good thing we only reserved one night, or we wouldve cut out vacation short.
Good clean rooms. Excellent beds and an exceptional housekeeping staff. The Purple Room is the best.
The best stay ever. You feel the nostalgia of Club Trinidad. The place where Frank Sinatra and the rat pack hung out.
Staff was friendly. Unit was comfortable and clean. Only small complaint was there was Parking for only one vehicle per unit.
Very clean close to shopping n things to do food activity plus the purple room witch has intertament every nite plus the hotels staff are very helpful n knowledgeable of things to do n places to visit
Conveniently located downtown, awesome staff. Fun stay. Great hot tub!
Best of Palm Springs staff friendly and rooms very clean. We love going to Club Trinidad very enjoyable.
Good location, but very outdated, not as clean as we like, small pools felt crowded even with few people.
A lovely place to stay in Palm Springs and rhe staff is the best one...being a time share owner since more than 17 years...
I cant believe this place waited so long to collect my forgotten internet device from the windowsill of the room after I called about an hour after I checked out that by the time they got around to it and got back to me 2-3+ days later that it was nowhere to be found 🤬😩😒
Nice place. Quaint. You get what you need but the air conditioning temp is kind of warm.
Great entertainment! The food was only surpassed by the exceptional service. Simply fantastic.
This has been an amazing stay. Will definitely be back.
Beds are comfortable, great location , pool was really warm
Good food and good drinks along with great entertainment makes this place a must visit when you can
Share your parking space with your neighbor, the Purple Room when you have no guests. Shame on you
Older place, but clean and great friendly people. Good amenities.
Old and worn-out like me, but, an interesting stay.
Visit the Purple Room, a rat pack hot spot. Great staff.
It is quite and clean, a very nice place to stay.
Nice clean place in the middle of the desert, whit pool and convenient kitchenet.
Very nice place to spend a time, nice people, lot of activities, i really like it
Glad place for the $$$ - great massage too! The best!
This is truly home away from home. Absolutely love this place! Going back real soon!!!

Awesomeplace
Awful. It smells bad. Its very basic. In a week they have not come to clean the room or change the towels... Nothing!! And they leave you an envelope so you can leave the tip.... what tip????? For those who havent done their job!!! It seems like a joke.... horrible. Dont come, any other place will be more comfortable...
Very basic and not very modern place, uncomfortable rooms
Everything is very dirty, full of tartar and rusty, I do not recommend it.
Very good place.
Good place
