Serenity South Massage Studio

Took advantage of the Christmas in July special for my birthday and had my first massage and facial. Both were FANTASTIC and exceeded expectations. Nate was very knowledgeable and attentive to my problem areas. Cheryl was also so thorough and knowledgeable during my facial. What a perfect and relaxing birthday experience!

This place is legit and everything I wanted for a massage. If you are looking for a foo foo massage or to be pet for an hour, this is not your place. If you want true body work that addresses the root cause and can trust the therapist to know what he is doing, then Jeff is your guy. He clearly has put the effort into learning his craft. From what my sisters shared about their therapists appear to be top notch. I am a former massage therapist and Jeff was one of, if not the best, massage I have ever had. Truly beneficial. Im in town for 6 days and Im booked with him again before I leave. So worth it.

Just had the best deep tissue massage of my life. I’ve had massages at a lot of different places (other states and countries). Been to a couple of places beachside. I have never had such an intense and in depth massage like I did today. Professional. Atmosphere was very relaxing. I highly recommend. And I will be scheduling another one soon.

Highly recommend Serenity S Massage. Visiting from clearwater we had set up a couples massage. We had to cancel because of an issue came up with work. We called and the owner was very understanding. He didnt charge us a cancellation fee even though it was last minute. We were able to get the issue with our company solved over the phone with the help of one of our business friends and were able to stay but this took time, we called Serenity South Massage back to see if we could reschedule. The owner Jason was great and got us back on the schedule almost at the same time. Their spas are super clean and well maintained. The couples massage was incredible. We had Jeff and Nate. My wife had massage with Jeff and I got the deep tissue from Nate. Both were EXCELLENT. The whole experience with Serenity South Massage Studio was great and if we get back up this way we will definitely make sure to rebook another massage. What a great experience and we would have no problems ever recommending them to anyone. Thank you guys for the great service and the understanding as business owners things come up beyond our control. They handled it with professionalism and a great attitude when we had to cancel. Then took the time to squeeze us back in and did a above a beyond job to make our experience great.

Todays experience was by far the best experience Ive ever had!! This massage and facial was the first in my book, i have to say Im very pleased! Brittany is amazing in getting every single knot out of your back. So relaxing and I feel like a weight has lifted off of me. Shes definitely is one of my favorites. Lets not forget my facial. Highly recommend this spa, especially Jeff, who delivers a great massage every time. He listens and understands, and adjusts the service to exactly what I’m looking for. I have been to several therapists at this location, and all are first rate. The facilities are clean, up to date and luxurious, high quality products used, and wonderful staff & therapists.

Booked their luxe package based off the reviews but wow does it seem the bar is so low. This was probably the worst experience Ive ever had minus the facial and Ive experienced plenty of massages around the world, good and bad. That said, this massage was unlike any other... and not in the way youd hope. Just speaks to the lack of experience here. If you plan on relaxing, go somewhere else. The walls are thin, you hear everything around you, to include the therapists gum chewing a few inches away. If you like feeling nearly choked and walking away with a bruised neck, then this might be for you. Honestly seemed like this therapist was enjoying herself at my expense. Completely ignored any of my concerns and didnt even offer water/robe, ask about the temp or pressure. You know, the typical stuff at ANY other massage place. Also, who grabs a person by the pony tail to move their head? Almost $500 in service/tip for a horrible experience and a cheaply done spa.

Had a phenomenal experience with Dan Lamb! Super friendly, professional, and has a genuine focus on wanting you to feel as great leaving as possible. Definitely will not be my last appointment and I will be referring all of my friends to Dan.

Had one of the best massages of my life here! I have severe tightness and issues in my back and lower legs and I instantly felt relief as I was getting my massage. Will be back everytime I’m in town.

Lauren was amazing! She knew where I was hurting and she asked if the pressure was good for me and to let her know if it’s too much. She’s very attentive! The ambiance is relaxing and soothing. Highly recommend her & this place.

I’ve been to the studio several times and have had services from several therapists. All of them have been amazing. I suffer from sciatica, and they have really helped with my recovery, especially Nate. I would highly recommend this place to friends or relatives.

Nate Eby was my massage therapist and he was very professional and his technique was very good. Definitely paid attention in school!! My shoulders have not had that much range of motion in years. And my back and neck feel absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!

Laura is my girl great spirit and personality and shes simply amazing at what she do I didnt leave how I came I came knotted up and left unknotted felt like a weight was lifted I would recommend anybody to the place for a massage because you wont be disappointed

I’ve had many massages in my life and this one was by far the most effective with hitting all the right pressure points and releasing tension that was built up for months. 100% recommend this massage studio and especially Lara, I could not be more pleased with my experience!

Easily the best services here! Ive worked with several of their Massage Therapists and each one has their own technique which provided a relaxing and relieving experience. I highly recommend Nate, though! He incorporates stretches and physical therapy techniques into his massages that really help target problem areas and knows how to work out tension and knots in order to relieve chronic pain. Due to overbooking, I actually received a massage from the owner himself and that, too, was a very relaxing experience. I could tell the owner, Josh, has had many years of experience and only retains the best Massage Therapists to work with. Will keep going here as often as I can.

Wonderful place! Love the peaceful decor. We went for an anniversary couples massage, and the ladies did a wonderful job on us both. We feel rejuvenated & very relaxed. Will definitely be back.

I had my first massage over 40 😱 years ago after an injury. Since then, Ive had some very good massages, too. Today, our son scheduled massages for my husband and me during our visit to spend time with him in FL. Today, I had a massage with David. Although I rarely do reviews on Google, I have to share that it was the BEST massage Ive ever had. It wasnt just deep tissue, but also fascia tissue and some crazy-wonderful reflexology. My shoulder has been stuck (frozen?) for over 6 months. Now, I have 100% range of motion back in my shoulder. Because of all the stretching he did during the session, I might even be taller. 😅 We will definitely be coming back to this spa on our next visit to FL. Next time, I plan to schedule a facial with massage. Thank you so much!!

Lara gave new meaning to massage therapist. I did not just receive a run of the mill massage, but received a focused and detailed massage based on the notes I provided. Attention to detail and working to fix ongoing pain points is what put this massage over the top. Lara is highly recommended!! My wife received Melissa and she was just as great - did exactly what she needed and worked out all the tension in her neck. Place overall is highly recommended!

I got a package with a 75 minute massage (with Nate E.) and a 75 minute facial (with Madison M.) Both services were wonderful and tailored to my needs and desired outcomes. The facility is clean and pleasant. I will definitely be back. Nate even educated me on stretches and postures to use to address some issues I was having.

June 23rd I received the BEST massage of my life by Nate. He made me feel so relaxed. I booked the mini spa day which included a body scrub, wrap and then I showered off and received my hour massage. I mistakenly went to the wrong studio and was running late and Nate was so nice waiting for me at the front desk. I booked last minute and they got me right in. This was by far the best part of my vacation. Thank you Nate for taking such great care of me and for being so kind🤗 I cant wait to come back!

I highly recommend Serenity South Spa! I received a gift card for a the Mini Luxe 60 min for my birthday and will be buying another for my self! I highly recommend Nate as a therapist. He is great at his profession and receptive to my concerns from previous sports injuries/pain. As a mom, I don’t get much time to “treat myself,” however, today was a treat and I am looking forward to my next visit. Thank you :)

I was blown away! My wife and I did a couples massage and were amazed. I am used to lackluster massages where they rub you, and it feels pretty good, but this was outstanding. Having my legs manipulated while massaged somehow made my back feel better than ever. Ive had back issues for a long time now and done many massages, but never one that gave me such relief. Nate and Lauren were SOO knowledgeable and worked miracles on my wife and I. This was the first time weve EVER scheduled another massage upon finishing our first one. So excited to go back and have more back pain relief! We were also excited to hear the many other things they do there!

Madison did an amazing job. I was comfortable and relaxed during the massage. She incorporated hip stretching that relieved so much tension I was carrying. I left feeling completely rejuvenated and so much lighter. 10/10 recommend her, and the spa!

Lara was absolutely AMAZING. She truly impacted my quality of life even after 1 session. I can move my neck and body more freely. She also worked on my 2 daughters and they both said how much better their bodies felt. Even months later I have a better range of motion in my neck since Lara worked on me. I cannot recommend her enough!!!

I received a prenatal massage and my husband received the signature massage with hot stone. I have had several massages and this was by far one of the best I have ever had! They were professional and delivered on exactly what we were looking for in our massages. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing day at the spa!

This is my first experience receiving a professional massage so I have nothing to compare it to and quite frankly, I dont care because Lauren was absolutely amazing. She may have even figured out where the source of my lower back pain comes from. I went with a friend and she said her massage was amazing too. I highly recommend this place and highly recommend Lauren!

It was just what I needed! The cupping really helped as well as the hot stones to loosen up the tension in my neck and shoulders. I booked a second appointment after my session was over. I used to go to massage envy in pier park and they never had the hot stones available even though it was advertised on their website.Massage Envy wanted to charge $30 for the hot stones. This place is so much better!! My first session was only 75 minutes, my next one will be 90 with the cupping added on for $10.

Nate is so awesome. Last Thursday and today Nate did a awesome job on my neck, shoulders and my right hand. I have carpal tunnel he relieved the pain and swelling of my hand and of course all of my upper body. I highly recommend Nate 💯💯. Thank You So Much !!!!

I have been to serenity south (at their Harrison Avenue location) twice, once for a massage and a second for a massage / facial. both times, the serenity south staff were professional and friendly! Nikki is an amazing massage therapist - she truly tailors your massage to all of your problem areas. Madison is the sole cosmetologist/esthetician and he facials are top of the line! she caters each facial to your skin type and happily chats with you throughout the session - Josh runs an amazing business, I cannot recommend Serenity South enough!

Jeff was an excellent massage therapist! I was totally relaxed the whole experience and felt like a new person after my 90min deep tissue massage. 10/10 recommended!

The massage was very nice, it aggravated something in my lower back that has given me a week of excruciating pain but I will live. The salt scrub was really rough on my skin with fibromyalgia and the wrap was less than desired but it was a first for me. I was looking forward to the aromatherapy and hot stones that were in the description but they werent used. I will go back and recommend this place to friends and family.

I love energy work with my massage sessions, and Lara is the gal to go to. I got a sugar scrub, reiki, and the personal attention, physically and energetically, that I needed. I dont call it a massage, I refer to this as an experience. Thank you so much Lara, cannot wait to come back!

My husband and I enjoy very different styles of massage. He needs a much more intense, therapeutic massage to deal with specific pain issues, and I prefer a more relaxing (but effective) massage. David Holland is AMAZING for both of us. He is professional, knowledgeable, skilled, and caring. His communication is excellent and he has two clients for life in us.

I had the most wonderful, therapeutic massage the other day all thanks to David Holland. I highly recommend him. He’s very communicative and will really target those tense spots. I’ve struggled with having knots in my upper back, and he managed to give me a sense of relief. I definitely will be back to book with him!

Yesterday, we made it into town for our couples massage! Im not going to be long, but let me tell you, Hands Down the best professional, genuine, accommodating, personality-filled establishments Ive been to in a while!! From Madison, who was our acting receptionist, to Dan and Moira who provided their blessed hands and wonderful personalities for our massages.But the owner, Josh, went out of his way to accommodate a simple joking request for Bourbon! He literally went and got a bottle, so when our massage was over, Marc was able to get a shot..lol! You talking about going above and beyond to accommodate your clients! Started my appointment with miss Tory for a massage who hands of an angel! Would definitely recommend her to others in this area. Finished my appointment with miss Madison for a facial and it was great and left my skin glowing and refreshed! Both Tory and Madison were extremely sweet and made me feel comfortable instantly, do yourself a favor and book an appointment with them asap !!

This is the best place to go for a massage!!! My mom works as a pipe fitter and is constantly on her knees. After a massage from David Holland all her pain goes away. From the first time she got a massage, David has never disappointed. She refuses to have anyone else massage her. Don’t think twice about this place & plasm for David!
