I have been using Massage Envy for almost 20years. Love that i know what to expect - process, rooms, etc. The suites are always clean and the McCandless site has cute “extras’ to make the visit more relaxing or to help when going back out and into the world after a massageI love Michael, hes the best ever! And all therapists are good.

I’ve been going to Matthew for massages for a few months now and he’s incredibly thoughtful, attentive, and the best masseuse I’ve ever had. I carry a lot of tension from work stress and some previous injuries, etc so it’s always something I look forward to, knowing that someone this professional and knowledgeable is going to be taking good care of me. He is the best of the best!

Mark was absolutely incredible-best deep tissue massage Ive received! Also, from first entering this location, the front desk staff was inviting, kind & informative. The customer service that I received was nothing short of exceptional! Highly recommend this location.

I’ve been a member at Massage Envy for the past couple months and it’s always been a great experience. Mike G does a fantastic job every time I come in, and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. The front desk staff are all very friendly as well and make scheduling super quick and easy.

Had my first service done with “Pinky” and it was amazing. So relaxing , so nice to treat myself and had great conversation. She’s so down to earth & walked me through all my stupid questions! I will definitely be returning for more services with her.

Rachel is very thorough and kind.. knowledgeable and does the services well! I thank God, literally, for her ability to go above and beyond. I go to her every time my skin needs SOS! 😁

I’ve been to several locations for Massage Envy but this was the first time I visited McCandless. I was scheduled for a 90 minute medium pressure massage (have the text confirmation for 90 minute massage) with Helen. The only positive experience I had were the staff at the front desk and that is the only reason I’m giving a star. I got to my appointment early but was picked up by Helen a few minutes late. She asked what I was in for…which I was confused on since she should have on record what I was in for but I simply told her a full body massage. The massage was NOT good. Pressure and technique was inconsistent. She would do one thing on my right side but do something different on the left side. She ended with only massaging only the left side of my neck and said she’d meet me outside. I was very confused because it did not feel it had been 80-90 minutes and how do you leave my neck region only half done?! So I got dressed and checked the time on my phone and it had been a little less than 60 minutes. I could’ve told her that it was a scheduled 90 minute but she should have known that and I was just so done with whatever that “massage” was. I was already in my clothes and in a space of discomfort. The lady who checked me out of my appointment did credit me for only a 60 minute but it was just plain awful.During my massage I heard conversations and loud laughing. I thought this was a place to have peace?! All in all, just not returning to this location.

Skincare is overwhelming for me sometimes, Rachel went above and beyond answering all my questions and explaining everything in detail for me. She provides such a relaxing experience, I highly recommend her

I just had my second massage session with Matt and had another great experience: he was mindful of the pressure applied, gave helpful suggestions for my particular aches and pains and we had enjoyable conversation. I am very comfortable working with Matt and will continue to work with him to help me in my journey to better health!

Got my first massage (ever!) here today and the service beyond exceeded my expectations. The front desk (guy with the cool necklace!) was so informative and helpful, and Michael M. was beyond incredible with the massage! Ive tried multiple times to cancel my membership. When I speak to an employee on the phone, they say I must speak to the store manager to cancel my membership and they will call me back later. I have never received a call from the store manager. I had to resort to cancelling the credit card I had on file with them because they will not return my calls. This is an issue that is specific to this Massage Envy. I would not recommend getting a membership here.

I usually go for a relaxation massage, but this time asked for some therapeutic therapy for some tightness & pain I’ve been experiencing. Helen was great in concentrating on that as well as my usual stress points.

Michael M. is a talented and experienced massage therapist. His deep tissue pressure and focus on my attention points released my neck and shoulders. For anyone wanting a deep tissue massage, I highly recommend him!That said, massage envy management needs to figure out some things at this location. First, clients are asked private information in the entrance for an initial assessment. When I asked for a private room, a manager told me one wasn’t available and didn’t offer a reasonable accommodation. No one wants everyone to know their business. Second, the back rooms have no sound protection from massage therapists walking in and out between sessions. As a result, it’s too loud in the hallways and hard to relax.

Great staff, very friendly massage therapist I recommend getting the membership. They even have tandem couple massages. Very romantic in its very conveniently near a movie, and some very good restaurants. I would also like to add that the staff is very helpful, including the young ladies that were in the front desk area and they have a cute little lounge area where you could wait till your massage therapist is set up. The whole experience is very pleasant and professional. PS we’ve been going there for awhile now and EVERYONE is great. Front of the house and back of the house!!

I had a 90 minute massage with Matthew at Massage Envy at McCandless Crossing. One of the best massages I’ve had. I bought a membership and will have monthly massages from him. I highly recommend him.

Saw a new msg. therapist, princess and he ranks in my top 3. It was a great experience! He listened to my bodys needs and helped me A LOT! I already scheduled again with him.

Barb was amazing- first time in a long time someone actually sat with meAnd asked what im currently doing with my skin and what my goals are! She went throughly through every step she was going and how it would help! Will be going back!

Kimmy gives the best massag EVER. It was so relaxing I actually fell asleep on the table and woke myself up when I started to snore! Lol. Shes hard to book but worth the wait!

Helen did an amazing job. I had mentioned that I had tension pain in my shoulders and neck. She found every knot and thoroughly worked through them. I will be making monthly visits from here on out.

It’s been two years since I had a masssge, after going every two weeks where I used to live. I NEEDED a massage. But I don’t know anyone here. And my family doesn’t do massage. So I decided to take a chance and I picked Amiee, and got lucky. She’s really good. And I am one of those people that I prefer going to the same person all the time. She’s going to get to know all my bad spots. I’ve already rebooked. It’s a completely different sort of atmosphere than what I’m used to, because my previoys masssge therapist that I went to for 20 some years worked out of her home. But this is a nice feel, but the lobby can get a little loud because it’s all hard material (easy to clean, but sound bounces everywhere, and frankly, we all want easy to clean now) but the massage area is very quiet, and low lit. Aimee was very respectful in draping, so I felt covered. And she not against me being chatty, because I am chatty. And the place was very clean, which, after owning a janitorial company over 21 years, I see everything.

Aimee was so good! It was my first ever massage so she kept checking in with me during the session. Afterwards, she provided suggestions for my sessions going forward. Thank you!!

Did all areas I asked, very intuitive hands.. great use of the gun and hand combined. Extra focus on areas needed , communicated and touched based while still providing a quiet relaxed environment

Everyone was nice only thing that I didn’t like was everywhere you look were signs up about tipping we know we have to tip we don’t need twenty signs up that was just a little much tske them down .. Also every service was over priced 10 for this 15 for that that’s the problem with chain places rip offs thing goodness it’s only a lavender lotion .. it’s not the massage therapist fault it’s the ownership .. way too expensive take the signs down don’t have them posted like we are stupid

Joel wasnt very good with the way he did the Massage. He wasnt Customer friendly. Nothing about my session was relaxing. When I was leaving to check out he open the door and said that I should stick to my regular ppl that give me my massage.Because hes nothing like them. His Demeanor was Defensive and somewhat rude.. Ive been a good member for going on 4yrs. Ive never had a issue 😕

Michael M. had gone above and beyond for my massage this past Thursday. He was very attentive to my complaints, as well he addressed the areas that I needed extra care. He helped me relax and was very knowledgeable with his tone and touch.

I get prenatal massages from Mark every month. Sometimes twice a month. He is very knowledgeable and professional. Always makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. I will be a forever costumer now even after pregnancy. I cant thank him enough for how good I have been feeling with my sciatic pain.Highly recommend!!

Barb is amazing!! I’ve been seeing her for about 2 1/2 years now & she does an incredible job, not only is my skin glowing every time I see her, but she’s great at educating her clients on what their skin needs and why.

The masseuses are always knowledgeable and professional, I enjoy my time there. I do wish the scheduling process was done a bit differently though. For instance, if you schedule a 60 minute massage, you’ll more than likely get closer to a 40-45 minute massage. Considering the time it may take them to take you back to the room, then you may talk for a few minutes, then you get undressed etc. I would gladly show up early to ensure that hour massage that I pay for. Overall the massage is still good, but I would recommend getting a 90 min for a solid hour massage.

Kimey is Phenomena! She is very knowledgeable and is able to sense exactly where my tension and stress areas are and work her magic which enables me to feel relaxed and recharged again. Great Massage Envy at McCandless Crossing!

I tried to cancel my account two times already. first time over the phone second time in person. both times they told me it was cancelled and i have been getting charged for months afterwards. i am going to get it cancelled again and if they do not cancel my account there will be legal action taken. they offer no refunds even though it is their fault. this company is a scam. you do not even get your full time. they start the clock before they start massaging you and stop the clock early every time. this company needs to be shut down

Mark is exceptional. His knowledge and skill as a massage therapist are difficult to find.

Rachel always takes such good care of my skin, and makes me feel like a queen every service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for all of your skin care needs. 🖤 she’s also a beautiful soul to just be around.

Customer Service sucks. I attempted to cancel my subscription in July and had to wait almost two weeks for someone from membership to call me back, even after calling multiple times to speak with someone. I finally was able to get the cancelation form emailed to me to fill out after two additional calls, the first email they sent they did not attach the form. Then in August I was charged again for the subscription that was supposed to be cancelled. I again called and spoke to membership who stated sometimes things get missed and they reluctantly refunded my money. Now its November, I have not been charged since the refund in August, and my card magically has another $75 membership charge on it from Massage Envy. Thanks to this I will now be getting a brand new debit card and cancelling the other one. Hopefully they issue me a refund or this will be reported to the Better Business Bureau.

My back and neck are so tense and Michael is so gifted in getting the tightness out of my back and neck.Massage Envy has professional, friendly, knowledgeable massage therapists.I would highly recommend a massage from the McCandless Crossing or any of their locations.

Michael have an amazing massage- one of the bests I have had in a long time actually! He was able to target my problem area in my shoulder and applied deep pressure like I had asked. He was very professional and I would definitely book another massage with him again!

First, I know this is a chain and not all bashing this chain, but at other locations I’ve had not the best experiences. This location is completely different. It’s managed very well. From the hospitality to the organization of the operation and of course great massages. They definitely have their ducks in a row here. Every time I come here I’m greeted with warm smiles and friendly staff. I can already feel the stress melting off of me just walking in the place. The waiting room is so relaxing but you won’t get much time to enjoy it. I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes in that room even when it’s busy and that’s only because I always arrive 5-10 minutes early for any appointments I have. Now, I can’t comment on the majority of the masseuses and masseurs because I usually stick to who I see. Why fix what’s not broken. I usually see Matt and Kimmy. Both are exceptional at what they do. They both give really effective deep massages if you are struggling with lots of muscle tension I highly recommend them. They also will give you tips and advice on how to relieve tension and pain. Also they have great personalities and can read a room really well. They can tell if I don’t want any talking or if I wanna spend a whole hour and a half blabbing away. The two of them always give me an outstanding experience.

I love Massage Envy. My wife and I have been working with Mark Laraway there for years now. He and the entire staff there are always professional, courteous, and most importantly, effective. Mark always gets the job done! We usually spring for the hour massage with the 30 minute stretch. So relaxing!

Mark is new to the location but has years of massage experience. Over the last 10 years Ive had countless massages from him and always has me walking out feeling like a new man! The 30 minute stretch followed by the hour long massage is the combo!

I started getting facials with Rachel a couple months ago and she always allows me to leave feeling like I’m glowing and refreshed! Just got a facial before a wedding I’m in this weekend and my skin has never looked better! If you’re wanting to start facials for the first time or if you’re looking for a new facial it’s, I highly recommend seeing Rachel, she’s the best!

Michael was a great therapist. Unlike many Massage Envy therapists I’ve had in the past, he took the time to understand my issues, the possible root causes, and spent time really working those problem areas. Great job focusing on the areas that needed a lot of work but not forgetting about how all the muscles are interrelated. Just the right amount of firm pressure to get tight muscles to release without leaving me feeling like I went a couple of rounds with Mayweather the next day. Definitely would recommend this therapist.

Great therapist friendly staff, the only complaint I have is that I was running late and called to let them know they said they would have get my therapist now and have her ready and waiting when I got there. When I arrived, they had to go get her. I know it’s my responsibility to be on time but when you make that promise, you should honor it. The therapist was fantastic! I will be a regular here for sure!!

Matt, aka Princess, is great! Ive been seeing him for over a year now. I like a medium pressure and he doesnt mind if I tell him its too much.

My appointment was at 4:15- I arrived early to fill out paperwork and was taken back a 4:15. My facial was OVER at 4:50 ( I checked my watch because it felt really quick) that’s roughly a 35 minute facial ( I’m being generous) when I paid for a 60 minute customized facial. My facialist became combative when I questioned it and stated “ her timer went off”. Even if you take off the time they give you to get dressed and undressed that’s no where near the 50 minute facial they promise. $125 plus a tip for a 35 minute facial? The front desk girls were sympathetic but I just dropped it because I didn’t want to make a scene. I wouldn’t be leaving this review if it had just been a few minutes difference.

I was given a coupon/ gift certificate.It was my first time there.When you go make sure you are there 15 minutes before your appointment because you have to fill out information and it can run into your time for your service.People were friendly and professional.The place was clean.The person who did my massage knew what they were doing.Everything is extra. And if youre not a member the pricing is double.Im not 100% sure yet.Its not a walk-in.If money isnt an issue you become a member and go every month that its definitely worth it.It seems that the employees are well educated and treat various thingsI need about 3 more but my 59 minutes did me wonders.

First time customer , first ever massage and I can’t compliment the staff enough they were very good at what they do answering questions and making me feel welcomed ! I had no intentions but I bought a membership just for being impressed w the staff and wanting to return. And Mindy does a great massage!

The facial seemed nice. It was a enzyme type. The added enhancement that was supposed to be a tightening didnt seem to have effects on my skin and I dont think she applied the wand to my entire face. Otherwise, the staff person or specialist facial specialist was kind and patient.

I highly recommend a facial here with Pinkie! She was wonderful, such a great experience, easy to talk to about what I was looking for and positive and relaxing atmosphere! I would highly recommend it!

I have been to a lot of Massage Envy locations as I travel frequently, and McCandless Crossing is by far the best location that I’ve been to. The staff is super helpful, and they’re always willing to take time to explain processes to me when needed. I recently needed to freeze my account for a few months, and they walked me through all of my options, and made the process seamless. On top of that, the services that I’ve received at this location are fantastic, and they’ve always been able to get me in when needed around my schedule. I highly recommend this location for anyone in the Pittsburgh area!

I had a new masseuse at this location , Shelby. She was absolutely fantastic. Young but knowledgeable and listened to my requests. She even spent extra time showing me how I can remove the strain on my shoulders which I appreciated. Would 100% recommend her for anyone. Makes me excited this location is hiring such talent!

Good service at the desk, on the phone and for massages. Has changed since it opened in small ways, but still very good. Simple and easy process for membership good anywhere. Try different masseuses til you find the right one for you.Aimee is incredible, if you like a little deeper pressure. I have been going to her exclusively for over a year.

As always, Matt gives a great massage; the hour was over before I knew it! He continues to concentrate on areas that have been problematic for me and always checks that I am comfortable.

Barb was an amazing esthetician she was very warm and welcoming and professional with her long time experience! I had the best facial there and she was very helpful on the different serums to use. I will be going back for her!

Come here often. Every year I go on a winter break from Christmas until April. (Came home a couple weeks early because of this Pandemic). Nonetheless, I booked a much needed appointment for a massage. Nonetheless, to my surprise I was disappointed that The young man at the front desk “Brian “, I think his name was wasn’t working there anymore. What a delight, always smiling, very professional and helpful. I’ve recommended Memberships to family and friends based on my wonderful interactions with this awesome worker! I give this location Five STARS because BRIAN provided a wonderful experience. ❤️

This location is the only one I have been to in the area, but from my experience, I think they could do a better job at trying to match you with a therapist. They just kind of put you with someone instead of listening to what your preferences are.Therapist princess Matthew is very good. He is comforting and works hard to ensure you are happy.

This one star review is not regarding the quality of service I have received here, but a warning to pregnant women in their first trimester that they will not massage you until 16 weeks. This was all a surprise to me as I booked my service online with no questions but was then told by my therapist in the room that “they don’t massage women in the first trimester” for liability reasons. I was later told by the front desk that a doctors note would suffice. Then the next day I received a calI telling me they would have to reschedule my next appointment because I would be less than 16 weeks. I don’t appreciate being surprised like that. I even spoke on the phone to the front desk at the Mccandless location and Wexford location about prenatal massage and no one mentioned this. Hopefully they will improve their communications and website to reflect their procedures. I am definitely canceling my membership despite many good massages Ive had here (some were not good at all) due to upper managements blatant insensitivity and disregard towards doing business with pregnant women.

Had a Facial with Nikki at the McCandless location - it was also my first ever facial. She was very attentive with what my current skin care regime is and how sensitive my skin is and also made it a point to take that into consideration while providing the best facial! She also called post facial to make sure I had no reactions! Will definitely go back for another one soon!

This location has the worst management, and customer service skills. I was told twice from two different employees I could transfer a session after I canceled my membership. Even the person I canceled with told me the same thing. The last one told me I could have both us come in and transfer then since she was helping another customer. I did this at another location after the massage they called this location where Dalton refused and was unwilling to help even though I was told incorrectly. I am glad the Gibsonia location knew it was poor customer service and ending up helping. I will never go here again.

Professional, friendly, skilled therapist. The front desk staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The setting is calming and clean.

Very confused as to why this location has poor reviews. Yes it is expensive but what isnt anymore? The girls at the front desk were SO nice! And obviously the massage from Michael was incredible. Do not listen to the bad reviews. This place was great.

Only giving 1 star because its impossible to give 0. Do not go here. This place is completely non transparent in their scheduling and their pricing. We scheduled a couples massage 2 weeks in advance, said we wanted deep massages. When we arrived we discovered that my wife had been scheduled with a masseuse that only does light massages. But she said that it wouldnt be that light. It was. On top of that we were charged the non member, non first time rate because we were honest and said that we had been to a massage envy in another state over five years ago. The employees were completely disrespectful in handling our complaints and kept trying to tell us that any mix up was our fault.

I went for a massage that was very expensive. The massage therapist complained about her problems throughout the hour service. I do not usually leave reviews. However when they emailed me regarding my experience, I politely explained what happened and I did not want to post a bad review. I had expected at least a response but got nothing. Worst massage experience I’ve had.

When I booked I told them I wanted a deep tissue massage and that I was 22 weeks pregnant. Theye booked me with someone who was certified in prenatal massage, which was fine because I didnt know one therapist from another as a first time client. After filling out paperwork and going to wait in the tranquil room, the girl then came in to explain what would happen because I was pregnant (in front of some other man that was also waiting his turn, which seemed somewhat unprofessional). She said that I would be laying on my side on a bed of pillows and that the therapist couldnt do deep tissue because I was pregnant...something they should have told me at booking. The table of pillows was just an ordinary table with hard wedge like cushions that were meant to be comfortable, but were absolutely not. If I wanted to lay on my side and have my neck at an awkward angle while putting pressure on my shoulder and hip I would have just laid in my own bed for an hour long nap. The therapist was actually good, and did all she could to get my knots out of my back, but once I flipped to the other side the first side just got stiff and uncomfortable again. Basically pointless...I left feeling more tense than when I got there.Moral of the story, if you want a nice gentle back rub and dont mind being wedged into uncomfortable cushions when you barely have a baby bump, book here. If you want a real massage, find somewhere that has the table cut out for your belly so you can still lay on your stomach.Plus, it was barely worth it at the first time client price....I cant ever imagine I would pay full price ($95) for a 50 minute massage (they give you 5 minutes to undress, and then redress as part of your 60 minute massage). They are also very quick to point out their suggested tipping guide and sell you a monthly membership.Wont be back, preggers or not...

Do not under any circumstance go to this location. I drove thirty minutes for a massage and the therapist did not show. They also had no other therapists available or any other spots for the rest of the day (I was their first appointment). They offered my a free enhancement for my next session. I am not driving here again with my fingers crossed that the therapist will actually show up to work on time.

Had to take my fiance to the emergency room. They still made me pay even though I had to deal with the worry of the well-being of my significant other. They were more concerned with the money in my wallet. Dont go here they will just steal your money. Will be cancelling membership.

Two months in a row my appointment was cancelled by Kimmy the therapist. 30 minutes before my appointment. Unfortunately I was unable to get a 90 minute appointment that day and not able to reschedule. Will not be returning to Massage Envy McCandless Crossing.

Moved away and they wouldnt cancel my membership until I went back to THAT specific parlor. They wouldnt do it over the phone bc they needed specific paperwork to that specific place. It took me over 3 months til I returned to the area and went in to cancel so I got charged FOR 3 MORE MONTHS until I physically could get back into that specific place bc other ones in my new area couldnt do anything. Complete BS. Thinking of a lawsuit. There has to be some sort of way to get my money back. I even have email correspondence with them proving that over 3 months ago I tried to cancel and they said NO unless I went back to that specific place!
