88 Foot Spa

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I left in tears. My husband walked into this place and paid $120 cash so I could choose 1 big massage and add on’s or 2 separate massages. He said the lady was a little rude but too it as a language barrier. The lady signed a name on the bottom of the certificate. I called last weekend to see if there was availability for the next day for 2 people. She interrupted me saying they’re only 1 person working and they can’t do couples. I tried to explain, not a couple. Just 2 people. She spoke over me again saying just call back later and hung up on me. My husband and I laughed it off again thinking she just didn’t understand me. My husband says it sounded exactly like the lady that he spoke with. So, yesterday I walked in thinking it’s be easier to speak with her in person. When I walked in, she immediately told me there’s no appts booked. I explained I’m just here to make one for the next day. I explained I have a gift certificate. She said oh ok. What time you want tomorrow? I asked what times we’re available? She replied that I can come at 10am. I agreed. I returned this morning at 10am. She greeted me with a recognizing expression and waived her hand for me to follow her. I held up my certificate asking if she wanted it now or after. She grabbed it out of my hand and took their business card off of it and said we only take cash or Venmo. I replied I know. We paid cash already. She raised her voice and said she wouldn’t accept the certificate. She said they don’t do those. I responded with tears welling up in my eyes just from the sheer mean tone she gave me that we absolutely did purchase the very from her and pointed to the spot she signed it. She said it’s not her and tossed the certificate back at me and kept the card and waived for me to go. I was shaking. I told her this wasn’t ok and felt like we were scammed. A man walked in right then and she greeted him and waived him to follow her back for his appt. I looked at him almost in a full cry and he was obviously confused and I was in complete shock. I’m an aesthetics instructor and have been in the business for over 20yrs. I teach students how to communicate with patients. I have never had such an awful hospitality experience. I would never treat one of my patients this way. So I called Pure Foot Spa instead and they got me in right away. I explained what happened at this place and they were shocked! They felt so bad at how stressed I was and gave me an extra 10mins no charge! It was heavenly!!! Pure Foot Spa in Plano is wonderful and we won’t go anywhere else. Especially, here. Beware!

New ownership as of 2021 - owner lady was rude on text when trying to schedule couple massage & made it very difficult to request the 2 previous therapists we had. We previously had 2 great couple massages but yes theyre pushy for tips. The aromatherapy quality is cheap & I didnt find this location very clean... but you get what you pay for. Youre better off going to Twins Massage in Allen, which has similar pricing, and is cleaner.

Very unprofessional! I would never go again & if I could rate 0 I would. My husband & I went for a couples massage. The owner worked on me & this was by far the worst experience ever. She answered the phone and walked out in the middle of my massage 10 minutes in. 30 minutes later someone comes into the facility and she leaves again for 5 minutes! This lady literally sat on the edge of them bed while performing my massage & to top it off she passed gas mid massage! After a lazy 40 minutes of continuously massaging ONLY my back I got dressed as she helped another customer and left me there. By then my husband had gotten his legs, feet, neck, arms & hands massages by the other therapist. My lady was only on my back! I recommend no one go to this unprofessional establishment! I’m so upset at the service.

I had a nice massage, my lady did get on the table as another review posted but that is expected when shes small and you want deep tissue. I wished there was more lotion/oil used, It was mainly my back and legs BUT it was a good massage. The last 15 minutes she did arms and feet but with no or little lotion. I would request next time more oil is used so it feels less dry but she did a good job hence the 4 stars

My husband and I did the chair massage. Both of us took 40 minutes/ 40 dollars for total. When we ready to pay, the lady asked us tips. We originally would pay $15 tips, but she asked even more...she asked us $20!!! My husband said okay because we didn’t want to argue about that. But we both feel uncomfortable with that! And the service is not very professional. We’d definitely not go again!

The best deep tissue (ashiatsu) massage ever! Service is fantastic, rates are reasonable, and most importantly....you actually get what you pay for! Almost all other places shave significant time off a 30 min or 1 hour massage, but 88 foot spa doesnt include changing clothes or any other misc time in the total (you always get full hour). Staff is attentive and professional! HIGHLY recommended!!! make sure you make an appointment first.

Staff is friendly and efficient (peaceful and calming atmosphere). Dont waste your money on any of those massages or spas at the mall. This is much nicer and better. I received a 30 minute foot massage (which also included face, scalp and lower legs) and a 30 minute back rub. If you need to loosen up and relax, give it a try. Walk-ins are welcome, but you may want to make an appointment if you do not want the possibility of waiting.

Because I am super sensitive to pain, I never try the waxing before. My experience with 88 foot spa was delightful. Staff was super nice and professional. I remove the unwanted hair on my “cave man” eyebrows and arm pits. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love it here. this is one of the best massages spas Ive been to. great service, professional techniques, and guess what, they do not ask for tips like many other places. Tips are tips, I tip when I feel the quality of service. I tipped $40. They are worth it.

True story: 3 friends walk into a foot spa. Are subjected to a high-pressure upsell. Asked to pay for services upfront. Have to wait for staff to arrive even though the 3 women called ahead to ensure they could be accommodated. The 1st friend had a great massage. The 2nd friend had a masseuse who, disgruntled by a failed upsell, was very rough with her feet. She cried ouch a few times throughout her massage. The 3rd friend (me) had a masseuse that clearly didnt know what she was doing. She was literally just imitating the lady massaging the woman next to her. It felt like someone just played with my feet for 30mins while I passed the time playing solitaire on my cell phone.When it was time to pay, the previously disgruntled lady rudely pushed for a 25% tip for less than mediocre service.Needless to say, this was the worst foot spa experience the friends have had to date...and they go to a LOT of foot spas.Dont recommend. Wont ever be back.

Ask Mary for painless Bikini wax. she is an amazing esthetician! She makes my Brazilians quick and painless. I also started going to her initially to have her fix my eyebrows because they were very uneven and practically destroyed from over-plucking them for years. She is truly an artist with my brows; they have never looked better!! Thanks, Mary!

I go here once a month most times to get a massage for my neck and upper back. Great hands here always lose the pain when I walk out.
