I recently had the pleasure of visiting Massage 8, a Thai massage shop in Plano, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the shop is calming and inviting, with traditional Thai décor that sets a tranquil tone as soon as you walk through the door.The staff at Massage 8 are exceptionally professional and welcoming. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality. The receptionist was very attentive, explaining the various massage options available and helping me select the best one based on my needs and preferences.The massage itself was nothing short of extraordinary. My therapist was highly skilled and knowledgeable about the art of Thai massage. She took the time to understand my specific areas of tension and tailored the session accordingly. The combination of deep tissue techniques, stretching, and rhythmic pressure was perfectly balanced, providing both relaxation and relief from muscle stiffness. The therapist’s attention to detail and intuitive touch made the entire session feel personalized and highly effective.The facility itself is immaculate, with private rooms that ensure a peaceful and uninterrupted experience. Very good experience. Anna was my masseuse. She did amazing. The facility is so clean and I felt extremely comfortable afterwards. I was offered cold water, and was relaxed after. I got a Swedish massage and everyone I encountered was very friendly. I would recommend coming here by yourself, with friends, or for a couple massage.

I went to this place for the first time yesterday. I had the best experience!The sweet girl at the front desk was so kind and helpful when it came to answering my questions. I got the lomi lomi massage with Anna and it was the best massage I’ve ever had. I’d only ever had a Swedish massage but definitely needed some extra umph and pressure! She used oil and when she was done, she wiped it off with a hot towel which was SO nice so I wasn’t so oily on the way out! The massage included my face and head which id also never experienced. Pure heaven. Anna was so amazing and when the pressure became a little uncomfortable, she dialed it back for me. The place was so nice and clean.My ONLY complaint is the room I was in, was RIGHT next to the front lobby. The doors or walls seemed very thin. You could hear the people outside talking and it would take away my peace and quiet for the moment. Perhaps next time I could try requesting a room further down the hallway! It definitely won’t keep me from coming back but hopefully something I can try to avoid next time! Thank you ladies for giving this momma some R&R!

Best massage I’d ever had. I haven’t had a lot of massages, but this was WAY better than Massage Envy. Had a deep tissue massage. Pressure was great. Felt the masseuse worked out my knots and trouble areas. Walked out feeling great!

I booked a massage with Ivy and it was by far the best massage Ive ever had! She was very intentional and her technique was amazing! I could feel the knots going away and pain leaving my body. I truly cannot recommend her enough!

The massage was really relaxing. It s a very professional setup. The interiors are great, smells great, feels great and gives a very comforting feel. You will leave the place rejuvenated and relaxed. Nancy did amazing on the deep tissue massage and most of the pain areas on my back were nicely targeted. I would highly recommend this place if you need a good relaxing massage without burning a hole in the pocket.

I went to Massage 8 for the first time and had a very pleasant experience. Crystal at the front desk was very polite. The wonderful woman that massaged me had a magic touch and really seemed to put care into the work. I can’t find anything with her name on it, so please let me know so I can possibly visit her again in the future!

Came on a Sunday night with my buddy and we both did a 60-min deep tissues massage. Definitely recommend this place! Will come again next time :)

I would rate higher than 5 stars if I could.I have been going to this Massage 8 for many years now, 3-4 years. Every time I have had a wonderful experience and the prices per min have been amazing. They offer different add-ons like essential oils, hot stones, sauna, and shower. I have tried them all, over the past few years. I have never requested anyone in particular, almostalways receiving a different masseuse and it has always been a great experience every time. They offer a few types of massages and on occasion a special style of massage for the season. The employees are always nice and professional as well.

My wife even sent a voice note requesting a call back to clarify all the points you mentioned in your response. This lack of communication shows how unethical and unprofessional your staff is. We didnt want to make a fuss, but given your behavior, we need to address our concerns. Please understand that we have lives outside of this issue.Here is my wifes response:I only asked one question about the type of oil being used at the very start of the session. The therapist couldnt answer and called for assistance. It had been barely two minutes since we started, and they asked if I was okay to proceed. I felt that language shouldnt be a barrier because the receptionist assured me she was well-trained. How can someone judge a persons work after just two minutes? So, I agreed to proceed with a smile on my face to not impact the entire session.During the massage, the therapist was good at times but also too hard and hurt me. I even pulled her hand away multiple times, saying PAIN. She asked if I was okay, but there was no point in trying to explain further since she couldnt understand. So, I just let it be.At the end, while paying, I politely asked why the massage felt so plain. There is a significant difference between a normal massage and a prenatal massage, which I did not experience at your center. Yes, I did pay a tip because the receptionist asked if I wanted to, and the therapist was standing right in front of me expecting it. I did not voluntarily want to pay; it was just a gesture for her effort.Get the facts right before commenting on someone. I have been waiting for your call but to no avail. I hope you have enough maturity to deal with negative reviews and address my concerns. We came for relaxation, trusting your massage center, but it turned out to be a big headache. What disappoints me more is not my experience, but the way you handled the situation without etiquette.******************************************************************My wifes experience with the prenatal massage was quite disappointing despite the positive reviews we had read. Firstly, she was assigned a therapist who did not speak or understand English, which made communication very frustrating. Throughout the session, my wife had to rely on hand gestures to indicate the pressure, which was very annoying. The therapist applied minimal and monotonous strokes, and when asked why the massage was so basic despite the expensive charges, they claimed that better strokes and techniques required an upgraded massage plan.The therapist lacked basic knowledge about pressure points, such as the need for gentle handling on the neck and firmer pressure on the back. My wife repeatedly asked her to go slow on the neck and apply more pressure on the back, but the therapist failed to follow these instructions. The massage did not seem prenatal at all, as it did not focus on the specific areas where a pregnant woman would typically experience pain. The head massage was barely performed, and the foot area, which should be a major focus for pregnant women, was completely neglected. When asked to massage her hands, the therapist did so for just a minute before declaring it done.Overall, the experience was a complete waste of time and money. We were deeply disappointed and felt it was not worth the cost at all.

I had identified Massage 8, a while back, but just had not taken the time to go. I finally went and got a deep tissue massage by Ivy. It was fantastic! After a few minutes in, she suggested we make it 90 min instead of 60, which maybe is a tactic or maybe I needed it but I agreed to it, and have zero regrets. I will say it had been a while since I had a massage, so Im sure I was in need.I was very impressed with her process and felt great after. I will certainly be back!

Eva has the most powerful hands. Did the lomi lomi and it was smooth and so relaxing. Such a new experience definitely recommend this to everyone. The percussive tapping really woke me up at the end. Thank you!

You frequently see people posting “the best massage I’ve ever had”. I’ve had several massages here over a period of about two months and I can truly report that this was the case. Ester provided a masterful massage with each one being better than the one before. The treatment rooms are very peaceful and the linens seem to a grade above other salons. Esther gives you her full attention and is not running in and out of the room to get towels, stones, or answer the phone. Massage 8 has a customer for life.

I drove by this location the other day and decided to treat myself. Sally was amazing! I was in a lot of pain beforehand since I hadnt gotten a massage in about 7 months. She did a deep tissue massage for me. Ive never felt more comfortable or so relaxed immediately after a massage. Normally, its a little difficult for me to get off of the massage table and get dressed right after a massage. I had zero problems with that today. Im moving around so much more flexibly.

The swedish massage was wonderful. Very thorough and relaxing. The experience was very comfortable and the masseuse continuously checked in to make sure i was comfortable with the level of pressure. Highly recommend this experience for a relaxing afternoon.

I started with the body scrub and shower and it was amazing. My skin feels so good and hydrated now. Next I had a 60 minute Swedish massage that was so beyond needed I can’t tell you. My therapist was Eva and she was wonderful. The only feedback I have is that I wasn’t asked how the pressure of the massage was and I could have used a bit harder in trouble areas; I wasn’t asked about troubled areas at all; the room was a little too bright for me and, when I called to book the appointment, I booked a 90 minute massage. I thought when she said, ok all finished, it didn’t seem like 90 minutes but, then again, I could have laid there hours more. When I got up and looked at my phone it had only been a 60 minute massage. By then I was off the table and getting dressed so I didn’t call her back in the room. They just must have written it down wrong when I called. I will absolutely go back to Massage 8 and book with Eva again.
