Had my ID checked by the idiot with dreads, he was so busy talking to some random car that was driving by to correctly look and never gave me a wrist band but stamped my hand. Went to get a drink and the bartender called me underage for not having a bracelet . So I went to the security woman sitting at the entrance upstairs, who was kind enough to escort me back down and outside where I was lectured for not giving them my ID when I first came though before she vanished back inside. Then dreads moron starts quizzing me on my own licences information as if I was using a fake and bending it and squinting real hard like hes never seen an ID before. He then stamped my hand 4 more times and threw a wristband on me. When I went back inside the crabby woman at the counter demanded I pay them AGEIN to get back in, which is cash only mind you, Absolutely ridiculous. This place is a joke and none of the staff are on the same page. And this was within the first half hour they were open. Music was trash and there was eight dudes per one girl inside. Dont waste your time and money coming here. I shouldve listened to the reviews.

This place is disgusting, the midget bouncer will treat you as if you’re doing him a favor. (don’t get him mad or else he’ll get insecure). Drinks are never correctly poured and the music makes me feel like you’re in a radio station with how generic and boring it is. DONT COME HERE. LOOK AT THE REVIEWS! I HOPE THIS PLACE CLOSES DOWN.

One of the security ladies ( short, brown hair, stubby.) was very rude. Yelled at my friend and I for being in the same stall though my friend came out as soon as she said we couldnt be together in the stall and apologized. The lady began to yell and accused her of being rude because she was trying to explain herself and was being respectful and apologizing for the misunderstanding. When I came out to clarity and apologize further she threatened to have us removed and told us to shut up. Would not recommend unless you’re 18 and can’t get into anything else lmao.

DONT COME HERE.No re entry because these frauds want to suck every dollar possible out of you.The bouncers are trashy, they act as if they’re guarding the white house or some high end club when in all actuality it’s the lowest end club in the north east. (especially the midget do not interact with him, he gets real aggressive and insecure).CLUB: SMELLS, OVERPRICED DRINKS AND BAD VIBES.

Had a rough start at the Colosseum because of my ID. Im from the U.S. Virgin Islands and the bouncers couldn’t believe my ID was real. They laughed back and forth, calling it boof and made a big deal about it not looking real. It was very rude. Thankfully, the boss recognized it as a valid U.S. ID and let me in saying they didnt want the cops there twice in one night, but only after I had to pull out three different IDs to prove I’m 21, just to get into an 18+ club. Upon granting me entry, they tried to not give me the 21+ wristband and I had to advocate to get it then the lady bouncer patted me down when she just scanned the rest of my friends. She was very aggressive with me.It’s important for clubs to check IDs, but the way the staff handled it was incredibly unprofessional. Making fun of someone’s ID and doubting its legitimacy in front of a crowd is absurd. It’d be better if the Colosseum trained their staff to recognize different types of valid IDs without making a scene. Hope no one else has to go through this just for a night out. I do not recommend going there if you are not from the contiguous United States as they treat outsiders poorly.

I travel for work and went here because a lot of people of tik tok recommended it. Showed them my ID and the bouncer threaten to cut my Id because I’m from Kansas he said it was fake. I’m 24. He gave my ID to another gentleman and he said it was real and gave it back to me. Then the original guy said to me “I still know it’s fake” “I’ll cut it and give to the police”. I told him go ahead ill real a press charges. Them continue to threaten me. Don’t go here trust me. I over looked the other review. DONT DO IT. GO SOMEWHERE ESLE

Horrible, didn’t accept a southern ID because they aren’t “familar with it.” Their manager laughed at my face as I was showing him different IDs along with proof. Don’t even try if you’re from the other side of the United States. Go to the clubs nearby it way better experience.

Horrible experience. was going to grab a drink at the bar and I am over 21 and the bartender ripped off my wristband signifiying that i was of age because it was on the wrong hand (security put on my wristband btw) . i then told her that i have 2 valid ids on me and even explained to security and they were no help and treated me like i was doing something wrong. All i wanted was a drink and the staffs action was unjustified.

Terrible experience. My friends and I came here for a good night and got assaulted by staff and bouncers. Me and friend got shoved down a flight of stairs with no explanation because we peed in the same stall together(found this out after the fact when talking to a cop) !! Very rude staff and terrible security. Very volatile people looking to pick a fight. Tried to talk to cops outside of the place and got told there was nothing they could do. Just go to ego or Seoul not worth it!!!!!!

I remember going on the coldest day of the year and it was freezing inside, it felt like there was a big window open and they did not have the heat on. Why? No re-entry allowed either

Went here with a few friends, and when I was trying to leave I asked a bouncer how to get out and she replies with “no re-entry”, followed up with “then get out”. She then proceeds to shine a light on me and I’m swarmed by 4 security, whom ask what happened I explain, and they simple point me to the door and tell me to have a goodnight. That’s all I wanted. Also if you want to go to a club and be surrounded by underaged college students with a bunch of fakes, this is the club for you! Overall there are so many better options within walking distance, so steer clear.

Family came to visit so we did VIP for the night and Jaymen was such an AMAZING security personnel that I tipped him. He kept the drunk people out of our section and the pathway clear so we weren’t blocked in. They should have more VIP servers though. Chelsea was great but I think she was too busy. It took a while to get our drinks each time and I had to go to the bar a few times or ask a worker to get her for us. I do appreciate Eric making sure we had everything we needed in VIP section before leaving us to Chelsea. He even allowed me on stage for my birthday :) …. overall it was a good time with the fam - bathrooms were fairly clean for a club, staff kept the line moving so it wasn’t over crowded, the music mix was nice. The crowd was very … young but I know it’s 18+ so we expected it.

A couple of friends and I went here for a rock fest. Mixed drinks are really pricey. But the Blue Moons were pretty cheap. My friend found free parking on the main rd across the field behind the club.

Very fun place to have a fun night out with friends. When asked if someone could walk me to my car, Tony one of the bouncers did and is awesome! He made sure to get me safely there and was super nice and friendly!

They wouldn’t let someone in cause they were wearing sweatpants and then they were being racist to my friend which is so disgusting and disrespectful

Doesn’t look fascinating at all and there was no gladiators. Didn’t find any Roman things.

Absolutely horrible experience–I will never be going again. Staff is rude and condescending. Showed my real ID and got laughed at for them thinking it was fake simply because Im from far away. Another girl did give a fake, and the bouncer took it and snapped it in half in front of her face in such a unnecessarily condescending manner. They treat their customers like people they are annoyed to have to babysit. And, the creepy-looking security guards make you feel more scared than safe.

We got VIP and it was a really fun time, however when they were cleaning up they took and threw out my prescription glasses and were unable to find them to return to me so that’s why I’m not giving 5 stars. Overall very fun, a pretty clean place, great music!

Really was not a fun time…. Bouncers and other staff were very rude to me and my friends. If you are part of the lgbt community I would definitely steer clear of this place. Drove all the way from ma to come, won’t do that again.

This place is really good if your 18+ and just wanna turn up and party! By far one of the best clubs in the CT/RI area I come up every few months and I get treated well there, security is good with patdowns and making us safe and even let us back inside for free, super chill place I’ve been both Friday’s and Saturday’s and it gets crazy around 11:30/12:00. I highly recommend this place when you wanna party and have fun people are normally young so you won’t have a creepy ass old person trying to get with you!

This place wasn’t great but wasn’t bad. I wouldn’t make this my every Friday night go to but it’s alright for one night. The alcohol here flows like water and I really can’t drink like a fish so I ended up outside with a few ladies I met inside and they took me over to a small pub down the street which was more my style. All in all I would go back to providence and this place. 5 stars but don’t get to drunk you will regret it.

Racist bouncers . I had to get completely frisked to get in to the club just to find out it had a cover fee only cash accepted. So I quickly went to the atm and got cash and came back . The bouncer said he had to frisk me again . So I denied and started walking away . He then followed me to the next bar ! And said that I looked suspicious and frisked me again in front of a bar which he didn’t even work for . I’m not sure if that was even legal .

Wouldn’t let my friend and I in saying she had too much to drink. She doesn’t even drink! It’s just bloody freezing outside. Never going here again

The boss’s wife is the bartender and treats the guest very rudely! She has had numerous bad reviews but the boss has not taken any action because that is his wife. Very bad club and I do not recommend

Bouncers are racist, if you’re not white you will be treated horribly. Bouncers are extremely aggressive, most of them are ex-cop. They get people arrested easily. Would not ever recommend this club to anyone. If you’re not White, You will end up having a court date and spending $3,000 for lawyer fees. This place is a trap and should be shut down. Worst place ever.

Friday and Saturday’s are always packed. In a good way. Colosseum is the only club I’ve been too around here that people actually get down and dance for real. I enjoy it. Bouncers keep to themselves mostly. Cover charge is always $10 for girls $15 for guys unless you get there before 10:30pm. Lines always go very quick and doors don’t close until 1am which is nice for those late nights. Music is always the same though. EDM and rap mostly but same playlist basically every time, time to switch it up or get better DJ’s. I don’t recommend this to anyone who only likes high class clubs, this club is definitely aimed more for college kids.

Workers are rude , no Matter any questions you have. Definitely homophobic. So Im disappointed when I hear the owner is gay, Id think if he is. Its an embarrassment toward the gay community .Can we say better business bureau? They will definitely get information.

The staff was very nice and polite- drinks were strong and vibes were good. Guys were vulturish/creepier as the night went on (after 1 am) so go at your own risk

Really fun place, pretty much the only club in Providence you can go to if youre 18-20 years old (most are 21+) so its pretty clutch. Place is popping on Saturday night. I do have to remove a star though. Me and my friends had to drive 45 minutes back home so my friend could change into a pair of jeans. They dont allow sweatpants for some bizarre reason. Really REALLY STUPID and makes no sense. If it wasnt for this pointless inconvenience, I would give 5 stars.

An over 18 night clubIts a good place to spend a night especially if you are under 21, of course you cant drink alcohol but you still can be in a night club to dance and enjoy. There is an area for smokers so you can smoke while you are drinking

This place is the worst club/bar I have ever been to. Heavy cover for nothing, no readmission, the staff was rude and condescending, the entire club was dirty, the dance floor was gross and sticky, would never EVER GO BACK

I come to Colo almost ever other weekend, the music is great and in the summer when the outside is open its the best. I love the staff they are very nice and helpful unless you get too drunk start stuff- then they keep the peace. I tell all my friends to come here whenever they ask for a fun place to go. 10/10 would continue to go 😍

Can i give my honest option? I not gonna bother. The small dude in the front was so rude i came back twice on uber rides to changes amd he just wasnt feeling what i was wearing.

Music was wack place was empty and they said they had no atm inside when they did was tryna makes us walk to a 7/11 store for a atm and one of the employees spit on my friend definitely wouldn’t recommend unless u wanna waste ur money and time and be bored and be disrespected by there employees

Worst club I have ever been to. Wack music and NOT multilevel (main reason for going). Security didnt pat anyone down and since when was it illegal to come out and come back in? Worst experience, Ultra is 100x better.

They seriously charged us $10 each to enter a completely empty club. We were the only ones on the dance floor and it was so sticky we could barely dance

Well one bouncer I must say was very professional and the way he handled a situation when another man was stalking me around the club trying to disrespect me, I think his name was barron he had braids, very tall well anyway, he made me feel safe letting that random guy that was bothering me know to leave me alone or he was going to be escorted out I’d love to thank him so much I’m so grateful he was there and paying attention when know one else was because who knows what that man was going to do to me.

Pretty pissed they were supposed to have a fit day today July 9th from 12-4pm and here I am its 12:10 and the place is locked tight! I also pre paid for this event! Ripping people off must be their new game! The owners should be ashamed!

Avoid at all cost.The scene in here is very violent and unruly.This is a very low class place and is known for its violent club goers.Seriously advise avoiding this establishment by any means necessary.
