I came with my boyfriend and we both had massages and scalp treatments services. We a 1 hour scalp treatment with massage. It was so relaxing. They did a scalp analyzation with a camera which was so cool. I could see the buildup on my scalp. There’s a waterfall head piece and they steamed my hair! They did not neglect the skin of my face either, it felt so soft after. Also my scalp never felt more clean! (By the way they do dry the hair afterwards so you don’t leave with your head soaking wet)I also had a full body massage which was deep but good. I highly recommend getting both done. It’s such a nice self care relaxing way to spend the day.5 out of 5 stars. Thank you to all the ladies who took care of us. I highly recommend & I will be returning with my mom and friends.

I had booked a scalp treatment and a deep tissue massage. The booking was very easy and they were very quick to get back to me and accommodate my needs. The place itself was very clean. The scalp treatment has left my hair so soft and clean then I’ve ever seen. The massage also was very wonderful and felt like helped relax me a lot. I highly recommend this place.

My three friends and I booked this a few weeks ago and after much anticipation finally headed to Quincy to visit this salon. This treatment was so much better than I had hoped!They could take us two at a time, so one pair visited the shops while the received the treatment. We got to observe each others scalp analysis, then headed into the treatment space. We wore jeans, but leggings might have been more comfortable, as the sink is also a massage chair (arms, back, glutes, and calves), which was glorious. Two friends got the 70 minute Classic Detox head therapy which also included face cleaning, eye and face masks, herbal rinse and steam. My other friend and I had the 100 minute Deep Cleansing Scalp Detoxification, which added on face and head gua sha and longer head and shoulder massage. Everyone loved their treatments! It was so relaxing and we all want to go back regularly.This spa also offers massage and has individual and couples options. There is a discount for cash payment and plenty of food options nearby. The staff was wonderful, and there are some drinks and snacks provided. I cannot recommend An Japanese Spa highly enough.

Relaxing from beginning to end! Seamless check-in, and very clean space. I booked the scalp deep detox, which was an hour and a half appointment. Started with a scalp analysis, and then lead into the massage space. The massage chair was magical at the same time as the scalp and facial treatment. Also glad that hair drying is offered, so I didn’t have to leave with wet hair. I would absolutely return and highly recommend!

I booked the 70 minute scalp detox and it was amazing. They did the video on my scalp right away then I was brought to the treatment area. You lie in a full body massage chair which was so incredibly relaxing. Ling did my treatment and she was so sweet. Excellent experience and will definitely return!

Last night was my second visit to this spa and it was another exceptional experience. I tried to book online but it appeared they had no slots available so I sent a message asking if they would let me know if anyone canceled. They texted me back right away offering me the last appointment of the night. I had a massage with Yoyo and it was the best massage I’ve ever had. She was lovely and incredibly strong. Today I feel great. This place is 10/10. They are so welcoming, accommodating and sweet! Thank you ladies!

This is your sign to book here ASAP! As someone who never relaxes, I was able to finally relax. I did the 100 minute scalp detox and I feel like a whole new person. The staff is wonderful and the spa is immaculate! The massage chair/bed you are in is amazing. I ended up falling asleep I was so relaxed, even after a hard day at work. Because I came from work, I was in work clothes, but I would recommend wearing lounge-wear for an extra comfy experience. I will 100% be booking again!

Amazing place! Super friendly staff, receptionist was so nice and pleasant explaining everything to us about our scalp scans and the process of our 100 minute scalp treatments. Will definitely be back, even with a 2+ hour drive to get there.

Been here a good amount since theyve opened. The staff in the front is extremely friendly and the place is very clean. The masseuses were great in the beginning but it seems like theyve been going downhill ever since. It seems like the masseuses just come and go other than the 1 or 2 thats permanent so if you find one thats good, make sure to stay with it. The lady that I got this time must be new, never seen her before and she did not know what she was doing. She started with the arms and then randomly jumped between the feet and back and such. There was no technique and she kept putting pressure on the bones on my feet when I asked her to stop and focus more on the shoulder. It got to a point where I eventually couldnt stand it anymore and had to stop and walk out. Pretty sure I got some sort of bone bruise. I paid for the hour and left. Not sure if management changed or what but I gave this place many chances and Im definitely not going back anymore.

Found this place after a google search for one close to me after seeing the head/scalp massage reels all over Instagram. All I have to say is best 70min of my life! Mandy did my service and I left feeling SO RELAXED which is just what I needed. I would definitely recommend it. Also, my hair is SUPER soft now!Definitely booking again soon!!

I was walking by this SPA and I decided to walk-in and ask, the way she treated me made me feel so comfortable and I really wanted to experience their services.I made my first appointment for a 70 minutes scalp treatment and it was phenomenal, felt very relaxed, and my hair felt amazing. Quick comment for my curly hair folks you need to get a hat or something because I looked crazy after lol, but they are super sweet and they were trying their best with my hair but definitely that won’t stop me from going there.I think I went for scalp treatment about 3 - 4 times now and I have an upcoming appointment as well. Every time my scalp treatment was with a different person and I had a great experience with every single person and the whole staff are SUPER nice and lovely 🥰.One time I did the healing massage, it was literally the best feeling ever, just be ready to be sore for the next two days 😂 but I will definitely recommend it for everyone that needs to release all the tiredness and stress from their body.

Wonderful experience! I did the deep cleaning, and it was amazing. Starts off with a scalpe check, and while you have your head being pampered you also get a body massage from the bed, which is a mechanical massager. The employees are extremely nice and friendly. It was an alaround pleasent time. I will definitely go back.

I’ve finally found my go-to massage place. They are polite, place is clean, and most importantly the masseuse are knowledgeable and skillful. I suffer from chronic neck pain & tightness, and I leave with relief and relaxation each time. Highly recommended!!

Came here for the first time and out of the 4 scalp treatments I’ve had, this was by far my favorite. I’ve been twice to a place in Chinatown in Boston and then another in Seattle and the 100 min session here was great. My hair felt super hydrated for days after leaving. The massage table after about 30 min got a little old but they let you know you can pull your arms and legs out and place them wherever. Scalp felt nice and clean after and the 30 min massage I had was nice. I could probably do without the gua sha facial but it was nice first experience with it. Next time def booking an hour. Will def come back.

The massage tables you’ll lay in during scalp therapy are devine, and the care and consideration that goes into your scalp therapy treatment is just scrumptious! Wow oh’ wow… absolutely amazing experience!!! Couples massage was very romantic. I had the Thai massage and she the Japanese massage. I literally had someone walk on my back and it hurt so freaking good. Mulan was so strong but so gentle I can’t put into words how much I enjoyed it. This was a 10/10 experience for cleanliness and service!

I had a deep tissue massage. I have tried a number of places and this was the best massage I have ever had. Highly recommend. The salon was very clean, the front staff was so nice and the massage therapist was amazing.

I was running late but they were so sweet and still gave me the full scheduled service for a 40 min head spa. It was so relaxing and the massage chairs were great. You also get a discount as a first time customer!

I am obsessed with this spa!!! I got the classic head therapy treatment and felt like I was getting a head and shoulder massage from the future. When I heard about this place, I couldn’t wait to go. I drove almost an hour and it was totally worth it. It was so clean, high quality products and machines. I had Vivian (sp?) she was amazing. She was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I was running late and she still wanted to give me all the time I paid for and then some! It was so relaxing, as a mother of 3 small kids, I was in heaven! My scalp feels amazing plus you get a fabulous massage and mini facial . I would highly recommend going here. It was incredibly reasonably priced, she even gave me a first time client discount! I will certainly be back, counting down the days! Do yourself a favor and book a treatment!

I had the most amazing experience at the A Japanese Spa. I got the 100 minute scalp detoxification and it was the most relaxed I’ve ever been. I’ve already made another appointment to go back and try some other treatments. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming and Jenny did an awesome job with my treatment! They had snacks and water/hot tea and it was such a cute spot. I immediately told all my friends they have to check it out!

I wasnt sure what to expect, but my hairdresser told me about this hidden gem. It was amazing, from the minute you walk in you feel comfortable. I did the Deep Cleansing Scalp Detox with a full facial. So I thought I was going to walk out with wet hair (which wouldve been fine) They finish off with a full blow dry. Thank you Jenny for a great experience. And to the entire staff that made me feel welcome!

I had never had a scalp treatment and I decided to treat myself and my mom to one. We both loved our experience at the spa. Even when I called to make the appointment, the staff was suuuper nice and accomodating. They did a fantastic job explaining everything and making sure we enjoyed our experience. We also got massages (they do prenatal massages!) Which I really needed as I am 39 weeks pregnant, i wish i wouldve added more time, the massage was EVERYTHING. The spa was spotless and had great vibes. I cant wait to come here again. **they also gave us a discount for being first timers**

Be aware not a Japanese place! Its a Chinese place run and operated by Chinese. Got a 90 min massage - average at best! The lady kept on hurting me and every time I would ask for less pressure she would just giggle and laugh - seriously? My back now legitimately hurts. This was supposed to be a relaxing experience instead was close to crying from pain. Then she went to stretch me and it was horrible. I have been to Japan many times and the way they do massage is very different. Be aware! I should have known better given low price

I was visiting a friends place and he suggested that this spa was a good place to get a massage. I have to say it blew my expectations away. We booked a 70 min couples massage and it was a great experience. I felt the tension being released from my body.Definitely recommend if you are in the area. The staff is very polite and friendly. The ambiance is soothing. And the location is quite convenient! I will be coming back for sure!

Great place! I got a couples massage for 90 minutes for very cheap! I was skeptical at first, but WOW! It was wonderful as they really worked out my athletic pain. The had perfect pressure and were very professional. Highly recommend and I will go back many times!

Why have I been wasting my time at fancy spas? I found A Japanese Spa today and had the best massage Ive ever had. They got me in on the same day, the place was exceptionally clean and my service was the best part. My masseuse didnt do the same generic thing on both sides of the body. Instead, it was clear that she could feel the tense places and worked to release those areas while maintaining a soothing and relaxing experience. I am looking forward to going back soon!

I’ve been looking for a place for scalp treatment for so long. And this place is totally a game changer! I have been dealing with my dry scalp for more than a year…I tried many remedies, but none of them really worked and made my scalp be even more sensitive. After I heard this head spa I booked the appointment to give it a try.I had the deep cleaning scalp therapy which covered from my neck to my scalp. The entire treatment was so calming and relaxed, and their staff was very attentive and professional throughout the process. I felt the difference immediately after the treatment, and as I expected my dry scalp became much much better. I would make it as a monthly treatment for myself. It’s so well worth it. I would definitely recommend my friends to come.

I love the spa and service in here. They did a amazing job. The only downside is they use very hot water when washing my face my skin feels burn afterwards. Just let them know so they can adjust the water when washing the face. The other thing is they did not do great with face cleansing. It was quick and mild. My face not clean enough for the mask step. Looking forward for the next appointment.

I just wanted a scalp treatment and I got so much more. The beds are a full body experience and I ended up adding a 30 minute massage for a cherry on top. The care I got was unmatched and Nancy and Vivien checked in with me the whole way along to ensure I was enjoying my experience. FYI I WAS!!! I don’t usually write reviews but this place was soooo good. I highly recommend and don’t hold back . Money well spent. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so relaxed in my life!

I keep forgetting to post a review but I went last week to get a scalp massage for the first time with my bf and let me tell you it was a full experience. This spa is amazing. I got the headspa- I have natural kinky hair and they did so well. I’m not one to trust anyone with my hair, but i’m so glad I did because it was so relaxing. No chemicals were used or anything that could damage or alter natural hair. You get to lay down in a massage chair/table thing while they do it. Everyone was so nice and welcoming to me, the customer service was amazing. I also got a japanese massage which felt great- it didnt leave me hurting or anything. I cant wait to go back already. I felt so rejuvenated. Thank you for an amazing birthday🙌🏾

One thing I do have a requested from the employees working here is that they shouldnt be judging and talking about clients especially you dont know whos listening. It was great. I could tell they didnt get many guys, because she had no idea what to do when it came to brushing my hair. That was really funny.Still, my scalp was much better. It was very relaxing. Im definitely going back.
