Super awesome spot to visit if you’re in the area. Unfortunately I was only able to come during the day to enjoy the bar and look at all the great vinyls they have. SomeOf the wax seemed a little pricey, but what’re you going to do? I definitely plan to return here to dig some more gems out of the crates, grab a drink, and support the local music.
I appreciated all the efforts to get the stage and equipment ready for our groups, nice experience. Looked like they booked another group too closely behind us, I hope they are typically more organized there. The venue was enjoyable, good sound system. Bartender was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly. Looking forward to visiting again.
Bar style concert venue was fun! The crafted drinks were very delicious. All ingredients are made fresh in house. The bar staff was friendly and patient. They dont serve food but allow outside food brought in. There is a cover cost, but its worth it for the entertainment. The musicians on the night I stopped in played a combination of top 40s and R&B and Pop. It was definitely worth the $15 at the door cover. You can save by purchasing online in advance.
Ive been here before for a few shows and has always been a great experience. The people working have been friendly and I love the atmosphere of it because it is a smaller venue. One of the best times I had here was when The Movement and New Kingston came to town..today, on a Sunday I was happy to randomly stumble upon a sign they had out front saying they now had a bar and record shop upstairs while shows arent going on. I was happy to find a huge collection and the guy working at the bar provided great service and was very inviting. I ended up buying an old country record and a local NC electronic band I hadnt heard of. He actually told me the band, Triple X Snaxx will be playing at The Pour House in a couple of weeks 😎
Excellent old school venue! Great sound system and experienced audio guy running the show. Ive been seeing shows there for 22 years now and theyre always great!
Nice intimate venue. You have a good view of the stage no matter where you are in the venue. The upstairs area allows you to look down on the stage. Ive been twice and Im always checking their calendar for shows Id like to see. The staff is super nice. I will definitely be back!
They have live gigs happening almost everyday and the venue looks super legit and underground. Raleigh overall is a beautiful place to be at and the Pour House just takes it up a notch, so if youre in this town the next time, make sure to visit this place. They have a great bar and a record store as well.
From the muffled sounds of a band playing live music street-side, to the cashier, the walk down the narrow passageway, the uber cool bartenders, the sound guy, stage, lighting, and dance floor, plus great music from lesser known but incredibly talented bands, what’s not to love? This is an intimate venue, which can get packed. Don’t let my video footage fool you. In September I caught Kendra Morris and her band on their world tour and new album release. Opening act was the talented bunch in the second photo. If I remember who I will update this post. TIP: Dine at Bida Manda or Brewery Bhavana right next door.
Saw the castellows perform. Awesome performance..Girls are gonna make it big.....Hate I will not be able to see them atPour House again. Its a nice venue with decent acoustics..
Great two story small venue. Local and national bands. They choose the best of the best to play here. Any show you see will be great, if you’re into the style of music the bad plays. Best place in Raleigh to discover new bands or see ones you know and love.
What a great indie venue! Got to see Boysetsfire and All Else Failed, and it was a great way to spend a Friday night. It’s my duty to support small local venues, and I’ll will do so for as long as I can. Small Venues and the independent bands that play them are what makes the underground scene an awesome thing to be a part of, and I’m glad the Pour House does what they do. Can’t wait to see more shows here in the future !
Awesome place to enjoy music and good drinks. Plenty of space to sit / dance or just watch people dancing.
We visited the Pour House yesterday with the express purpose of finding a particular record I’d been looking for for 20 years or more. The inventory at the store was extremely organized and well labeled but I wasn’t able to find the record. A mild panic began to set in; I’m sure record guys know this feeling. But the fellow behind the bar, Adam I believe, helped me out, plucking the record from the regional artists section. Life was again back in order. Thank you Adam, and the Pour House for being great.
Great shows and cool place but I think the fact that an 18% gratuity is added to every check could be advertised and itemized better.
Awesome little spot for live music, nice beer, and mixed drink selections. The bartenders are very professional and very good at their jobs, too.
This venue brings the guns when it comes to quality sound, and more often than not the acts use it to their advantage. This is the quintessential music venue of the region, if you are an audiophile this is the place. Service is strong, beer is cold, good times.
Really cool spot off the main path. Tons of records, good bar options, and great items to purchase. Happy we stumbled upon it! *Note, there are stairs leading up to the record shop and bar*
Fun spot with a whole bunch of different bands that play here. Plenty of beer options and friendly, no nonsense, staff. I first saw Artikal Sound System here a few years ago! Whatever your sound preferance is, this place likely has something for you or at least a new band to hear. I like that they have local bands!
Absolutely love this venue. If you’re looking for a smaller, more intimate venue to hear a variety of music and support some local artists, this is the place to go!
Im here alot and anytime The Kind Theives are playing you know Ill be there!
Last night was my first time. I was there for the Frank White Experience and it was Amazing. Tickets were $20 but I purchased mine online. Everything was dope. The bartender was solo. And it was busy. In my most polite voice (she was clearly overwhelmed) about how the process worked to get a drink. She said “just wait” cooool. And then she said she “don’t make her job harder” with a red face. I know customer service is lost. And today people honestly don’t know any better or how to speak to people even in “crowded “ situations. The people were patient as far as I could tell. She was just overwhelmed. I am 41 so I get it. I had another person order for me because she was too rude at that point. I paid for my drink and she never gave me my receipt to close out. After waiting at the bar for so long. I hope my tab got closed out respectfully.Peace!
Visited the Pour House to see Inikio! It was a small bar with a stage BUT the way they handled the entering of patrons by double checking tickets and constantly updating while we stood in line was impressive. Once inside, although it was small, I felt comfortable and not clostrophobic! They made sure they didnt overfill the venue. Bartenders were friendly and I enjoyed!
Super nice, helpful staff. spent half an hour wandering around downtown Raleigh trying to find earplugs for a friend right before the nine inch nails concert and the record store staff managed to dig some up for us even tho the venue itself was closed. would love to come back for an actual drink someday!
I went to see a local artist perform. There is a performance stage with limited seating for guests. Full bar. Does not serve food. Street parking and parking garages available.
Such a fun and friendly vibe. Nathan was an awesome bartender. Sonny/Aaron and band killed it. Cover was $15 but worth it. Come by 9 on busier nights or it’s standing room only. Upstairs seating but limited. Draws a friendly and kind crowd that you’d want to share a lettuce wrap with.
The best place in Raleigh to see local and touring bands in a proper music venue. Great stage and sound system with excellent sound engineers. There is also a very cool record shop upstairs with a fabulous selection of vinyl. Bar in both upstairs record store and music venue is very nice and fully licensed with specialty drinks as well as a great selection of beers. It’s a clean well maintained place that feels very comfortable, welcoming and safe.
We absolutely LOVE The Pour House! They always have great music, reasonably priced drinks, and the best bartenders! Shoutout to Rachel for being a wonderful bartender with great service!!!
Always great music whether downstairs or up in the record store. Great support of local musicians!
Wow what a great place! Almost missed the entrance but as we checked in I could feel the energy traveling out of the music hall and down their rustic brick walled hallway. There’s stairs to the top floor or enter right into the bar and music hall. I got great vibes being here and the bartenders were prompt and cool. Keep and eye out, you might just run into one of the band members mingling in the crowd before the show. From Bronze Age, second after, and FrontSide we had an amazing time and rocked out to some amazing bands. The energy from the crowd and the performers created an unbeatable music experience. This was our first time and we will definitely be back.
Pretty cool venue! Thursday is local bands and local beer night, so as a tourist, it was cool to check out. The acoustics and sound couldve been better in the second story loft area, but music was still enjoyable. Well definitely come back when were in Raleigh!
Great local bar for music. Always have a good time. Eclectic mix of patrons. Its a vibrant and social hangout. Really enjoy seeing live music here. Staff is always friendly.
Garbage venue. Orange peel, Lincoln theater, the underground, hangar 1819 all allow you in if youre 18 and they stay in business. This business is just operated by lazy people who dont wanna do their job or hire security. Drove 2 hours and they didnt let my homie in even though he can join the military. They missing out on 4+ peoples business cause we also planned on seeing Uada next month as well and intended to start coming to see other bands. Fillmore got rude security but at least they arent too lazy or incompetent to enforce their policies.
Always like coming here. Drinks are good, and I like being able to come upstairs away from the larger crowd, and because Im short and cant see over the tall folks! The only thing that would make it better is having some simple bar food options or even a food truck on site, especially if a show is 3-4 hrs long and people are drinking. Weve been here before so we knew to eat before coming but first timers may not know. Otherwise, cool spot for live music. Keep it coming!
Pour House has been my home base bar/venue in Raleigh really for as long as I have lived here. Great place to see local, regional, and national acts. The lineup seems to be the best in town month after month and the best in the triangle for clubs its size (Approx. 300 capacity). The staff and atmosphere is very inviting for people who both like to see live music and for musicians alike (I am both). Ownership is easily accessible and welcoming of any suggestion no matter how minor. Not to mention a great beer selection, fantastic central downtown location, and the best sound man in the biz.
One of my favorite venues. Has a great vibe.
Best spot in town to see live music. Record store upstairs by day and music venue by night. Cheap drinks and a friendly environment. Always love coming here!
Just wanted to give a shout out to this venue. Had a blast last night! Bar servers were on point and music sounded great. Will definitely be back!
Ive been going to the Pourhouse for years. Seems like most of the bands they have are jam bands but I have seen some punk rock shows there. Last time I was there, I saw Tim Capello (saxophone player from Tina Turner and Lost Boys). Staff is always attentive, drinks are always good, sound is always good and not too loud, stage is a good height so even short dudes like me can see okay.
We come here often for the shows. Great small venue, awesome vibe, pretty reasonable drinks. Have seen many great bands playing here.
They have amazing sound (WOOO JACK!), they really value the people who come to their bar, they treat their bands super well, they have a great culture, and have really shown their amazing true colors during COVID by stepping up the plate and being super socially responsible - not an easy feat! Not to mention they have great taste in records! Im so happy we have Pour House in Raleigh. Its the best of its kind, hands down.
Super cool local music venue!Although I’m pretty sure there wasn’t any alcohol in my drink. 🥹
Probably the best music venue in Raleigh. They have a huge tap selection of craft brews and the staff is always friendly and fast on the pour. The entrance is a long dark brick hallway, and the first time I went I thought I was about to accidentally walk into a fight club, but I ended up discovering a top notch music venue and making a lot of friends along the way. A plus!
A great place to see local music! As a musician it’s much appreciated that this place is set up around the music, which the typical bar or brewery does not do. You can party and drink and mingle with other folks from the triangle but the main reason to go here is to check out some new interesting music.
I got a concert invite from my friend and I decided to go. The main band was the movement . To get in you have to walk through a narrow hallway which actually seemed really cool. Walked in and the vibe was awesome. There was a good mix of males and females. Walked up to the bar and was greeted/ served promptly. I had the crank arm seasonal which was delicious. Met some other people there and had a blast dancing to the reggae beats. The music was really dope! Id definitely go back.
Wonderful way to close out our trip to Raleigh. Got to see Dr. Bacon Band. In love. Will be back.
I havent been here in a hot minute...but wow! What a great experience. Totally worth it for anyone visiting Raleigh! Good drink selection, good amount of space inside. Great bands, as well! Awesome place for friends to get together!
Ive been going to The Pour House since college, circa 2004. 10 years later and it is still one of my top favorite music venues in downtown Raleigh. The sound is always amazing and there is an upstairs viewing area which also has a couple of pool tables. They have a ton of tap handles with lots of locals on draft and they serve $3 PBR tallboys every day! Service is always reasonably fast depending on how packed the show is. Definitely check this place out!
My band played here recently and i just wanted to write a review to praise our sound person Jac. very professional and easy to work with and the mix sounded great. he even payed for one of my band mates parking outside of the club! badass.
One of the best places in Raleigh to catch the pulse of the music scene in town. Theyve got one of the largest beer and drink selections for a music venue, a great staff, and some of the best sound hands down of all the choices out there. On top of that, they are constantly bring in new acts, are open to burgeoning artists, and you are almost always guaranteed to see a dynamite show, regardless of what genre you may be into.So pick a night, head downtown, and check out one of my favorite stomping grounds!
Always have a great experience at the Pour House!! Live music spot that offers a balcony view, pool tables upstairs, good drinks, an up close and personal feel always. Sunday Funday there as well features specials, food, and live entertainment unmatched in Raleigh to the heady crowd. ✌️
Great place for live entertainment when you dont want to dress up. These types of places increase Raleighs cool factor.
They get the best bands in that little whole in the wall. Ive never been mistreated but its a fairly sketchy bar. I worry everytime I go in there, very dark, and cramped, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. Its easy to catch your favorite artists walking to the upstairs area for autographs and such after/during shows. Keep up the good shows!
I had a chance to visit The Pour House Music Hall for the first time recently with a friend and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. When you visit you enter the hall through an alley off of Blount street. While you go through the large metal door be sure to take in the graffiti art and all the stickers on the door. Once inside youll have the bar in front of you and the stage will be to your right with restrooms to your left. On the left side of the stage there is another doorway that can take you outside or take you to a balcony view of the hall (there are also a couple of tables and a pool table in the balcony area). The owners do a really good job in bringing talent to their stage and the bartender was great! It would be nice if they served food some basic bar food, but aside from that the place is awesome and Ill be going back soon!
The Pour House Music Hall is the best venue for music in Raleigh if not North Carolina. They always have the best bands and musicians. Their tap selections are phenomenal! They have the best bartenders to go along with your selections too! Very personable and always give great drink options! I have NEVER had a problem with these guys! EVERY show I have attended...being Hip Hop to Rock to Metal....always puts a smile on my face and keeps me coming back for more! POUR HOUSE ROCKS!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im such a fan of this venue. The staff is friendly no matter the day or capacity. Its great for an intimate show downstairs or to hang out upstairs. Theres pool tables and seating with a nice balcony overlooking the stage.
My new favorite venue! It almost feels like a boiler room show because of how close you are to the artists. The decorations are rad & good beer selection, which overall create such a cool vibe.
This is one of my favorite places in the Triangle to see smaller acts. There are two floors to view from. The bar carries a good selection of beer and alcohol. The corridor leading up to the door is cool for a fun photo opp. Always a good time at Pour House.
The Pour House is one of the best venues in the city! New ownership came in last year and there is a HUGE difference from the past. Great, creative drinks and specials along with all the top local and touring acts. The perfect place to catch a show!
Amazing music, up close and personal. The drinks are priced fair and are always strong. The clientele are what you expect of this local favorite.... Happy to be out and enjoying company. Bi-level building. The alley entrance is as clever as it is on brand.
Great venue, and now with the adjacent record store, even way cooler. Sound is top notch for a club that size. The Pour House is one of a handful of places that moved downtown before anyone and made Raleigh what it is today.
Ive seen bands here and played here. I have to say from a musicians perspective, Adam is a pure pleasure to work with! He not only gets back to you ASAP but helps in any way he can to promote your show...Super professional! Great venue, awesome staff, one of my top favorites in Raleigh!
Great bands local and national. Good beer selection. One of the best spots in Raleigh to caught a live show. The owner Adam is chill and runs the place right. Support local music!
Good beer selection and a unique venue. Cover is perhaps a bit steep, but they pull some good bands even on a Tuesday. Worth a look if you are visiting Raleigh.
One of the better alternative music venues in Raleigh. They consistently book good talent while offering opportunities for unknown local acts to perform on a good stage with a great PA. Good selection of beer and an upstairs where you can get out of the direct path of the noise.
The Pour House is an older converted building, now used as a small two story music venue. Downstairs is a large bar with over 20 tap beers. They also feature a mostly full liquor selection. On the opposite end of the bar, there is a small stage. The best part about this venue is the small size. Its one of the most intimate venues in Raleigh for the top tier artists that play here. Upstairs theres a pool table, inactive bartop, as well as balcony railing to view the stage. They have several stand up tables surrounding the railing. My favorite spots are either right in front of the stage, or at the balcony railing. This place CAN get crowded on certain nights, but mostly its very navigable. Its 21 and over only for almost all events.
The Pour House Music Hall (aka The Pour House) is one of the cornerstone venues in downtown Raleigh for original music. Hosting nationally and regionally touring artists on a regular basis while also serving as a go-to venue for many of the areas premiere local acts, The Pour House is one of those places you can walk into any night of the week and expect to hear some good music. The owners and staff are super friendly and take pride in booking quality acts, and serving a wide variety of reasonably priced draft beers. As a local musician, The Pour House is one of my favorite places to play because of the convenient downtown Raleigh location accessible to some of the areas best restaurants, making it easy to grab a bite to eat before a show without having to drive. Its central location also makes luring people to shows a much simpler feat. Even with a 300+ capacity, the room still maintains an intimate, dive-bar feel conducive for all types of music. I highly recommend this venue to any music lover looking for a friendly place to hear some great bands without hurting your wallet.
Great show and venue! Like to visit there on the weekends. Great staff and affordable drinks.
Always a great time. Cold affordable beer, wonderful bands, friendly staff. I always keep an eye out for who is playing the Pour House because they book some really wonderful acts.
This is my favorite place to hang out in Raleigh. The bookers do a great job of bringing in fun music... Genre, age, notoriety all vary, but Ive only caught a couple of acts that I didnt like, including openers. Prices are fair, service is good, and vibes are always great. Its probably the only place in Raleigh that feels like it was made for Rock and Roll.
Great acoustics good crowd upper level provides outstanding view which is also where the vinyl records and store is with couch as well as table seating to browse the catalogs. Great place to relax, enjoy and of course enjoy great love music.
My first concert at this venue tonight with Butcher Brown and ZooCru. Very good sound. I look forward to more shows here. I hope I get the chance to play here when I get a band together.
This is a great place to listen to some local music and grab a cold drink. The bar staff are attentive and the drinks arent overpriced or watered down like some other places. If you want the best spot for listening to the band, get there a little early and go upstairs and grab a spot in front of the balcony.
An odd amount of yuppies for a dive like this but I guess thats just the area. Bartenders were really prompt for a packed bar. Doorman was very personable and gave me some tips for my next stop. Live music sounded great in the small space.
“Of Good Nature” great band out of Charlotte has got it going on. Saw them last year and they have really come together as a band.
This is a totally sweet place to see live music. Its maybe the best in Raleigh. No food, but thats cool because you can eat at one of the 25 other delicious places within walking distance. Lots of great beer on tap. Stiff drinks. Friendly and Quick bartenders. When theres bands, theres usually a reasonable cover that mostly goes to the bands, which is excellent. THE UPSTAIRS BALCONY IS AWESOME. Some bands are louder than others, and I think they have ear plugs for $1. Do yourself a favor, check out their live music schedule, pick a night where theres a few local and regional bands playing the type of rock and roll you usually like, get a babysitter and go there with an open mind and some friends. You will not be disappointed! They only book bands that dont suck. Ive never seen a crappy band there. [NOTE to Bands: show up on time for load-in and Jac (one of Raleighs best soundmen) will love you. Get there in a rush right before your set, and all I can say is good luck!!]
Great PA system and the sound person really paid attention. Excellent venue for live music.
The Pour House has never disappointed - it can pull some awesome shows and offers an intimate concert experience! Be sure to catch a show at this low key venue tucked away in Downtown Raleigh, adjacent to Moores Square!
Hole in the wall. Never been disappointed with any live band there. Always a fun place to hang out with a great selection of draft beer. No matter what band is performing the crowd is always fantastic.
Awesome music venue in downtown Raleigh! We saw the Gentri Brothers perform, and the place was packed with enthusiastic fans!
No frills, its a large room with a bar in the back and a good sound system. Plenty of taps, friendly bartenders. Sound is good albeit sometimes a bit loud for the size of the crowd. Venue allows you to be close to stage.
I came here for Fat Tuesday last night. Not an good experience I did not feel welcome. I brought my first drink, the bartender continues to remind me the price of my drink before he makes it. I said that the price is cool (I am aware of the price of my drinks). Fast forward to my second another bartender continues to remind me that the drink is pricey. In which I said I know. Turned to my friend to discuss when I am continued to be reminded of the price of my drink. The bartender is all the way at the other end of the bar. He walks back and tell me that I do not need to be rude..(because I am having an conversation with my friend) He continues to be an straight ass. So I tell him not to make my drink. And we left afterwards.I will never be back. I paid $10 for my friend and I and this is the worst service I have experience.
Super rude woman working the door, thought all of our vaccine cards were fake (no explanation for why and they are not). Scratched all of our ids including, then when someone asked why she was scratching it she said to make sure they are not fake in an extremely rude tone. Also was upset when my mom asked if she could read her id through the id holder and asked if she needed her to take it out. Super upsetting to have a door person be extremely rude for no reason and had heard she was rude to most everyone else.
The vibe is phenomenal here. Super grungy in all the right ways. Highly recommend
Ol school music venue vibezzz all day. Never have had a bad time here. And, did you know they have a very cool record shop with a bar upstairs?? Yeah, its true.Check it out
One of the best music venues in the Triangle. Large enough to host national and regional acts, yet still feels very intimate. For a music venue, the beer selection is top notch.
Fun venue with a lot of great beers on tap. Nice to have a bartender who made great recommendations on small brewery beers. Music was fun. And the floor was not sticky from beer spills.
The smell inside was horrible... the sweet mildew mix of an old bar. They advertised a Bloody Mary Bar for a Sunday afternoon which I was excited to try! Their selection to add to it however was so tiny that it never should have been advertised as a bar. The mix was spicy and the bar tender wasnt able to make one that wasnt spicy so you were S.O.L. if you didnt like the heat. The Bloody Mary itself was so thick and chunky that it was difficult to drink.
A Raleigh institution. An already great venue, the new record store and bar upstairs are a great addition. Come by on a weekend and hear great music for free and enjoy a beer while browsing their collection.
I must admit I can not remember the name of the bands, but it was an excellent music. Beer is 6 or 7 $ and the entrance 25$. A bit pricey but it was nice atmosphere. I liked it!
I love this place. I come every few weekends and the bands are always a blast, Ive yet to be disappointed. Additionally the beer selection is pretty good consisting of mostly locally brew beers on tap
Great little venue that has good shows, beer, and drinks. the upper level has some pool tables. Shows are fun when they are sold out, Im guessing top capacity is around 250.
There is nobody else to call for need bar tending service for any size function. We hired PourBar Services for our wedding and they were the one of the easiest Vendors to work with. Eric and Cara always responded to me immediately, met with me in-person at my convenience and worked with our other vendors very well. They are flexible, accommodating, friendly and very easy to work with. Eric and Cara are they very definition of Superior customer service.
Great place to catch some live music. Delicious cocktails and a wide selection.
I am a regular at the Pour House, especially for their Jazz/Fusion shows. Adam has his finger on the pulse of the hottest, coolest musical acts and brings them to the the Pour House from all over the world. The recent Hiatus Kaiyote (Australia) and Snarky Puppy (Brooklyn) shows are great examples of bringing cool to the area! The venue itself has a great deal of character and back alley ambiance, a characteristic that is becoming a rarer commodity in downtown
Nice club for music. Good selection of taps with a number of local craft beer. Street parking can be a little tough, but theres a parking garage right behind the place!
Finally saw live music again! And safely! They did such a good job of hosting everyone to see the show which was also awesome. Cant wait to go back soon
When it comes to the local music scene in Raleigh, NC, the Pour House is simply the best there is. A stellar venue with awesome bands (international, national, and regional), excellent sound (managed by one of the best sound men in the business), tasty beers, and a friendly and casual staff.Truly, its the music that is the scene and focus at the Pour House. You will hear everything from jam bands to rock to to rap to bluegrass to jazz and everything in-between. In addition to hosting top-notch music, the Pour House is a front-and-center venue for such events like the Wide Open Bluegrass Festival, Hopscotch Music Fest, SparkCon, Artsplosure, and Double Barrel Benefit. Other regular events include the Pour Paws Dog Walking Group and Mug Night. The bartenders are friendly, casual, speedy, and professional. Ive always been treated like a valued guest when Im there. These guys and gals are great. They will treat you right. There are around 40 taps, in addition to a selection of bottled and canned beers. The taps are excellent, many of which are local/regional (including Big Boss, Lonerider, Red Oak, Highland, CBC, and White Street Brewery). They also have wine and mixed spirits as well. The actual establishment is, in a word, real. Gritty and real. But this is a compliment as far as Im concerned as there is not a single ounce of pretension. This place radiates character. What you see is what you get at the Pour House... and its all good. The Pour House - Great music. Excellent vibe.
Ive seen many good live performances here. Its always a fun place when the band is on, and they have a great selection of brews for the evening. And they sell ear plugs lol.
First time in an environment like this and I loved it! The music and the atmosphere was perfect for my queer heart!
Great venue with awesome staff
Great concert spot. Up close and personal. Also an upstairs area. Full bar downstairs. Went to see my cousin perform reggae. Really enjoyed it!
Small venue, good beers. Weird mural of a man and a chicken. Will be watching the schedule for future reasons to go back.
Great acts local and coming though ... Raleigh institution for live music
A true venue with two levels of madness. The bottom level is where the bands play and has a well stocked bar. The second level is more chill, overlooking the stage and has a few pool tables too.
Private dueling pianos event was fantastic. The pianists were energetic and super talented.
Loudest concert Ive ever been to. Even with ear plugs. My jeans were vibrating. Totally unnecessary. So loud my friends and I had to leave. wasted our money for something we were pumped about.
Sound quality in this venue is amazing! Good draft beer selection, friendly bartenders and great sound -- what more can you ask for in a music venue!!
Great music, not too packed. Bartenders are super professional and attentive.
I cant say enough positive things about this place. Their shows (pre-COVID and hopefully post-COVID were always excellent. More recently, Ive fallen in love with the BEST RECORD STORE IN THE TRIANGLE, hands down. Great selection, great correspondence, great people. Ill gladly keep spending my cash here.
Went to The Pour House to see Arson Daily. The sound was amazing, servers were very attentive and the experience was great even with covid protocols. Looking forward to the next one! 🤘🏻
The gender neutral bathroom is up a flight of steep stairs.ETA: Venue was very responsive to the critiques in my original post, full stars
Beer choices are excellent, music variety is unmatched and the place is no fuss. Come as you are and enjoy some live music.
This is a great intimate concert hall. I wish they would improve the top end speakers.
Cozy venue with a nice bar, cool little stage, great atmosphere, and friendly staff!
Best place for local beer and music in the Triangle area and beyond!! Great staff and owners!! Any show you see here you will not be disappointed!!
Just a great place to see bands. Its all about the music.
Great venue. Great bands. Great beer selection. What else do I need to say. Check this place out. Very unique.
Simply awful accommodations. Demanding and exclusionary. Without an extensive medical history provided you will be denied entry. Im just glad I got out of there before they assumed my gender
Another Raleigh gem! Great sound crew and great bartenders. Always a fun evening when you get to play this venue!
Super cool music venue! Great bar staff. Excellent sound. Good times!🤘
Saw Ghost Note. Great music. Crowd became a little rude and management should have handled that quickly. But the band did and was a great night.
Ive only been a few times, but it was okay. Small, the drinks are okay, and the DJ is usually good. Cover wasnt bad either.
This place is awesome. Cannot wait to come back. Unmatched vibe and awesomely organized selection. Good bar as well. Nothing I can complain about whatsoever.
Great beers and great music! The show they had was so well conducted excited for the next one!
Great venue!!! And staff,, cant wait to go back
Great Spot! Fun, chill atmosphere ! Superb acoustics for live music! Grab a bite to eat before you go!
Great selection of beers and an even better selection of music. A wide variety of bands play at the pour house so you can find something worth listening to almost every night of the week.
A great place to enjoy live music and cold drinks! The Pour House doesnt have a kitchen but they will allow you to have something delivered.
Great venue! I love that its on the smaller side, makes for a more intimate show. And the drinks are great!!
Great sound, intimate venue. Nice selection of local beer, good selection of spirits. Bar tenders are quick and friendly.
Second time going, very intimate place and great for heavy metal. Reasonable drinks prices as well.
Super great drinks. Everyone on the staff is friendly and entertaining. Great place to see a live band
A fantastic Raleigh institution for live music. They have a large draft beer selection, and good nightly drink specials.
Dark and hip venue. Saw Sexbruise? They were fun fun fun. Beer taps poured wrong brews... Which was weird
Excellent live music and record shop! Cant recommend it highly enough! Come out and have a great time!
