Sukho Thai Massage

Tia gave an excellent massage. The atmosphere was wonderful. The receptionist was friendly. And Tia gave me a full 90 minutes:) Many spas will Cut off 10 minutes at the beginning and end. The only reason why I did not give five stars is because they are a bit pricey. I get regular massages in Cary and this massage was 60% more. I went because I was offered a special in my email. I will definitely go back but cannot go as often.

I started visiting Sukho Thai Massage in January 2024 and have see Catherine 6 times now. The price is reasonable and the experience far exceeds my expectations!Catherine listens to any ailments you may be having and is very focused on those areas. She is very attentive to your needs! I highly recommend this establishment!

I loved the atmosphere at Sukho Thai Massage! I already felt relaxed in the waiting room. Jen, my masseuse, was very polite and attentive. She checked in with me often on how things were feeling and focused on the areas I needed the most. She also made a lemongrass tea for me at the end which really sealed the experience! To begin with, the atmosphere was calming. The reception was great, and the massage was wonderful. I started the service with pain. Once the therapist began, I felt safe, and my concerns heard. Once completed, I was pain-free and relaxed.

Love Sukho Thai! I have been receiving massages from here since 2016, and I have rarely had a negative experience. When I did, I submitted a rating of my experience, and based on my response I received an unexpected call from the Owner. She expressed her sincere apologies and made her best efforts to rectify the situation. I thought that was a wonderful touch. I highly recommend Jennifer and Corey, they are amazing! It was freezing in the room which made the whole relaxation component nonexistent. We were also informed upon arrival that our massage therapist could only do light to medium pressure as they have bad hands/wrists. This was very disappointing and unprofessional that we were not made aware of this when booking. If we had, I would have made appointments for a different day with a different massage therapist. They did stretching during my massage even though I informed them that wasnt my preference. While stretching is nice and/or helpful, it is not what I expect with a massage. If I wanted to be stretched by someone I would go to stretch lab of a physical trainer. Also, areas I marked as problem areas; neck and lower back were barely touched. And towards tge end of my massage there was a funky smell (either a fart or takeout--not sure but unpleasant). For $95 this was a very disappointing experience and I left feeling like I still needed a massage.

Explored around for a massage place to try as a birthday present to myself. After confirming an appointment via their online portal, they emailed me and asked if I could change it to an hour earlier. I moved my schedule around to make the earlier time and confirmed that it work. Well I showed up today to find that they clearly didnt correctly communicate amongst themselves nor with me because they said they couldnt accommodate me. So basically, after confirming twice, I drove 30 minutes out here, during a rain storm, only to head back home.Update: Sukho Thai reached out to me personally and apologized. They offered me this service as complimentary which I appreciated.

Employees did not have the appearance of professionalism.Massage table was extremely too hot, burning level and could not be adjusted. Had to be unplugged completely.The massage seemed rushed and performed by staff not properly trained in the art of Thai massage. Felt more lite touching and struggling than massaging. We both were grateful when the time had concluded!No proper placement for clothing and items within the room.Herbal compress was a complete waste as well. Felt like a wet sponge and not the Thai value expected.Lobby sofas not cleaned with spots and hair.Water provided at the end in a glass. Not safe, there should have been bottles.As a couple who has monthly massages and even new experiences when traveling this is by far the WORST and not even close to what a Thai massage has to offer.The website and reviews are misleading as we saw NO THAI personnel in the facility.We will not be returning, will share with our network and honestly thinking how to regain our over $400 spent as we can not get our time back.

I had a 60 minute Thai Oil Massage with Corey today and it was very relaxing. I have a lot of tension in my back and shoulders, so the upper body stretches and neck/shoulder massage was the best part for me. The one critique I would have was that the building itself was a little chilly, but the table itself is heated so that component was wonderful. I would recommend Corey to others, his pressure throughout the massage was firm but not uncomfortable. 👌🏻 He is very knowledgeable and provided quality answers to all my questions regarding different massages and therapies offered here.

Going to Sukho Thai massage was always a treat but today I went there for my shoulder pain. Cory was very skillful, patient and polite, he helped ease up 90% of the pain. I highly recommended him. The office was very clean and the front desk ladies were very helpful and friendly.

Abi was amazing. I haven’t feel this good for a very long time. She made sure that I felt comfortable the first moment I met her. She made sure that I got what I asked for including firm pressure and concerned area. Would definitely go back!

My massage therapist was Abi. I worked for several years doing hard manual labor. I told her about my hip and lower back issues, and she made sure to help stretch and relieve tension in my back and hips. Will definitely request her again the next time I return.

I booked a 90 min massage and Gabby was perfect with the pressure she used and her techniques. I could tell that she takes a lot of pride in what she does and course I was glad to let her know that it shows and thanked her for it. I’ve had 3 or 4 massages at Sukho Thai Massage and they have been the best I’ve ever had. And believe me I know what a bad massage feels like , but no complaints here !I’m grateful for the easy booking and great service !

I had my first massage at Sukho yesterday. Great atmosphere and Catherine had such a great relaxing and intuitive approach. A mix of stretching, Ashiatsu and regular massage. The sign of all good massages, when the 90 minutes came to an end I only wished I had gotten more time. Thank you. Will be back.

I had Jennifer for a two hour massage/reflexology. She did an outstanding job! The stretching really helped my neck and back. The staff is friendly and the waiting area very relaxing. I highly recommend Sukho Thai Massage!

Gabby was awesome! I have a ton of tightness in my back and horrible posture. She helped alleviate muscle pain and showed me some exercises to help with tightness at home. I highly recommend her to anyone especially with migraines or neck issues!

While I was here, and could not an appointment else where and I took a chance doing to this place. The location is very convenient and good parking. The setting is very nice and quite and nicely decorated in In lovely theme of Thailand. The staff is very nice. The faculty is super clean. My masseuse was Lindsay. The was really wonderful. I had a hot Thai treatment. Lindsay hands were amazing, for a person her size she gives super deep massage. The walked in my back so gently focusing on my trigger points. My one hour went much too fast. When I done I was pleasantly surprised with a hot lemon grass tea, with my name. A nice personal touch. Totally fabulous. I totally recommend the Sukho Thai Massage. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been here twice and each experience has felt like the best massage I’ve ever gotten. First time we a Thai massage where they walk on you got part of it. There are tight knots no other place beside Sukho Thai Massage has been able to relieve. Today I got a prenatal massage with Marina and I’m leaving feeling fantastic! She was so attentive and kind. I like pressure really firm and she did great :) I was so relaxed I started falling asleep, another first for me. And everyone is so nice and I love the way the place looks. My boyfriend and I went and got a couples massage. I had Cody and my boyfriend had Leah. They were both fantastic. Cody have a great run down of the process and check my pressure levels. The atmosphere was relaxing and the decor was also nice. They have some cute crystals and crystal jewelry for sale that I feel I need to go back for. I had an excellent massage at this location. It was my first-time visit here. I made an appointment over the phone and went in 15 mins before the session to complete the paperwork. My massage therapist took the time first to understand what I need and walk me through the process. I did not feel rushed and appreciated the opportunity to feel grounded before the session began. I am no stranger to Thai or deep tissue, but I loved the blend of Thai techniques and relaxing strokes, and I felt terrific after the session. Everyone at the location was very courteous and professional. Loved my time here!

My wife and I both enjoyed our massages. 4 stars due to pricing. Most of the normal stuff typically included with massages was an up charge. Not worth the $95 for a basic massage.

Very disappointed that they did not explain anywhere on their website or during the appointment making process that they do not accept any clients that are less than 12 weeks pregnant. I was honest about MAYBE being pregnant (less than 4 weeks if so) and my appointment was denied in person, after budgeting, paying, and scheduling time off to have a massage with my mom for our birthdays. I was offered a refund or credit, but I opted for refund because I’ll be trying to get pregnant and will have to wait an additional 2 months before I can use their service if so. Please put this on your site/during the appointment making process for clients. I was very excited for this due to the reviews and even though it was handled decently in person, I really wish I hadn’t spent the time or money in the first place.

Came to Sukho Thai Massage today for the first time. I found them because I googled massage places near me and theirs came up with excellent reviews so I wanted to give them a try. Everything about my experience was wonderful. I walked in and the place was adorable and felt calming and welcoming. It was very clean and gave off really good vibes. The receptionist was welcoming and very friendly. I have never had a thai massage before today so I honestly had no idea what to expect and I was a little nervous. I got my massage from Marina and she was lovely. She explained everything that the massage entails and made sure I was comfortable with everything involved. The massage itself was amazing, the room was dark, quiet and very relaxing. Marina did a great job. She even gave me a cup of hot tea after the massage which was amazing. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Place was very clean. But it is a Thai massage place with other staff working in it. I walked in with very bad pain I asked for high pressure and had no pressure at all. But they were good in all the other areas of customer satisfaction other than no pressure in thai massage.

Abi is an absolutely awesome massage therapist! She is very attentive, intuitive and knowledgeable of the body. As a retired Army Veteran, fitness professional and amateur bodybuilder, my body has a lot of miles on it and I rely heavily on skilled, therapeutic massages to help with pain management. You cannot go wrong with Abi!

We spent our honeymoon in Thailand, and were so excited to find a Thai massage place in the Triangle. The providers here are amazing, and the environment is clean and relaxing. Most recently, I had a wonderful prenatal massage at 39-weeks. It was so relaxing, our baby decided to come that same evening! Highly recommended - pregnant or not!

My husband took me here for a couples massage for my birthday today. It was amazing! I had Sophia and hubby had Andrew. It was hubbys first time getting a professional massage and he loved it. The last time I got a professional massage was probably back in 2008 so I was loooong overdue! Hubby and I both loved our massages. I chose to get the hot stone add-on (which I had never had before) and it was amazing. Very very happy with our experience. Definitely want to go again. We are going to try to save up to get a membership so we can go back some more because it makes such a difference! Best. Birthday. Present. Ever!

I booked at this place because I have heard Thai massage is very healing. I was looking forward to this massage to help relieve the pain in my back. The walking on the back ( which felt the best) was roughly 20 seconds of my 90 treatment. Everything else was ehhh . I work in the Industry and was really surprised at the let down. My therapist seemed timid to work on the areas that are knotted up. So I left not much better than when I walked in after 90 minutes earlier. I did not get a sense or feeling of Thai massage :/

What can I say? I had an incredible massage at Sukho Thai Massage! I went ahead to see if I could finally get some relief from my sciatica which has been really bothering me lately. Ive had my fair share of massages in Raleigh so I had fairly standard expectations. Im happy to see my expectations were exceeded. My massage therapist Bonita listened to my concerns and asked me more questions about what my needs were. The next 90 minutes were absolute bliss. I could feel the pain slowly fade away as the massage progressed, and by the end my lower back felt like its never felt before. Bonita is truly an expert at her craft.The front of house receptionist Pin was also fantastic. She was super friendly and helped me feel comfortable while I waited for my massage.A fantastic experience overall at Sukho Thai Massage.Ill definitely be back! Thanks again!

After traveling to Thailand I fell in love with Thai massage. This place is OUTSTANDING and like I was back in Thailand. I’m a nurse and woke up in excruciating pain. They were able to get me in that afternoon. I received the best massage of my entire life. Without me saying anything she found and worked on every tense spot on my body. Thai massage is very hands/foot/body on so be prepared for the therapist to be climbing around the room. The massage experience involves a lot of stretching as well. An absolutely amazing experience and well worth the money.

Similar to a lot of people I have very tight neck and shoulder muscles. For my very first appointment I scheduled the 2 hour massage. No regrets! The knots I had were addressed and the stretching felt really good. I’ve been back every month since then. It is now a part of my budget.

Our Thai Oil couples massage was soothing and rejuvenating. Katherine and Marina were attentive to our pressure/tension points. They offered us tea at the end of our session which was a pleasant conclusion to our session on a cold winter day.

Carolina and Mary did an amazing job. My lady and I have had some back pain and the 60 min couples table massage was amazing. We added on aromatherapy and hot stones and it was a great choice. One of the best table massages I ever had, and I have had a lot of massages over the years. Anna was amazing. I asked her to be firm and she really got in there and worked out the knots. After a good massage you should be slightly sore and I was! What I liked best was she combined stretches with the massage, which makes all the difference. I suffer from sciatica and Anna not only worked out the muscles causing the pain but she stretched my legs in different positions. I instantly felt the relief. The only negative I could find with this place was there was no where to unwind after the massage. You have to drink your tea or water in the reception area. It would be nice if there were a separate room to sit in and sip your tea while you come out of you massage coma. But its not a deal breaker. I plan on going back and I would highly recommend them.

Authentic and Excellent massages, world class team and therapist.Ive yet to find anything comparable except for The Umstead Hotel (which is a 5 star Spa/Resort) but Umstead is significantly more expensive thus...Thai is the best value and best massages in my experience

I think it all comes down to the skill of the massage therapist you see. I didnt have a great experience with my first one but Sukho Thai gave me a complementary massage as a result, which was so kind of them to do. Tia, the second massage therapist I saw, was absolutely amazing (and so nice!) and worked out all of my knots. One of the best massages Ive ever had. My mom saw her as well and she said the same thing. Tia has healing hands. Thank you!!

I wish I could give this business more than 5 stars! I had never gotten any type of massage before coming to Sukho Thai and let me tell you this was a game changer. The staff and management are always very respectful and so nice, they make you feel so welcome. They really have helped me so much with stress and helped to relieve aches and pains from work.

Sukho Thai is Raleighs best kept secret. It is a female, locally owned full service Thai massage spa. I love coming here and have always had wonderful therapists. Pin, at the front desk, is so lovely and welcoming and can answer all of your questions. The spa is exceptionally quiet and clean, not to mention reasonably priced. I have been to many, many spas in the Raleigh area, and I have never had such amazing massages as I have at Sukho Thai. (This includes the best reviewed and most reputable in the area.) I will start by saying that Penny was great! I tried to schedule this appointment online, and no appointments was showing for today, so I called the office and Cynthia helped me book an appointment for me and my mother.I asked her if the form I will fill when I come in will have the options of what kind of massage I wanted and she said yes.When I got there, there was no option for that. When I asked Cynthia, said everything was add on. I told her that it was not like that on the website, I told her it will be nice if the website is updated.After my massage I was waiting for my mum who booked for a longer session. She asked me if my mum will pay in a sarcastic way, as if black people cannot afford a massage. During that my wait in time in the, I told her I was felling cold.When I was trying to pay for mum, I told Cynthia that my session with penny started by 9:38 and ended by 10:30(I lost 8 minutes).After I told her this, she could no longer hide how disgusted she was at me. She said I complained about a “few things”. I asked her if she had a problems with getting feed back from her clients and she became very rude and mean. Cynthia treat everyone the same!

Wonderful, professional, unique massage with yoga stretches incorporated throughout! All I can say is WOW!!! Tia was my therapist and she was fabulous!!! She was very attentive to my needs, questions and requests and made a point not to rush. I love that when you book a 90-minute massage here, they block off 2 hours to ensure your actual massage really is 90 minutes! You truly get what you pay for at Sukho Thai Massage! This was my first Thai massage, and I’m never going back to the traditional massage “spa” after my Thai experience with Sukho. I’m a mother of two small children. I often wear my baby in a carrier and pick-up/carry around my little ones. I have a lot of knots and tension in my upper back and neck. This is the first time I’ve left a massage feeling as if every knot was worked out and as if there wasn’t an ounce of tension left in my body. My therapist was Veronica, and my mother had Demetria. We both felt as if our therapists were skillful, intentional, and effective in their use of massage and stretching techniques. The atmosphere is clean and relaxing, and you don’t have to experience the nuisance of attempts to sell additional products or services like you often experience at chain massage providers.

The best massage hands down. Qualified and well trained staff that are experts when it comes to deep tissue, and muscle pain. I wont go anywhere else. Best of the best!

I went today for my first visit to Sukho massage and it will not be my last. I have had 100s of massages and this one was one the best ever. The atmosphere is very inviting and authentic feeling. There is a form to fill out as if your going to a doctor to ask very specific questions about what pains you are having. The massage I was given was a 90 min Thai massage and I was asked about specific areas that bothered me and those were addressed first before my traditional massage was given. I can only tell you that I walked out with less pain then ever. I was even greeted with warm tea upon leaving. My massage therapy was very professional and treated my areas of greater pain with her full attention to make sure I was leaving more comfortable then when I entered.

Me and my friend went here for a 60 min oil massage and it was great! Chelsea and Catherine did our massages; they made sure to get our target areas and make us feel relaxed.

I treated myself to a massage with reflexology for my birthday and I was so happy with the results that I immediately scheduled another. This time I tried herbal compress with the Thai massage, and it was really nice. I have lots of chronic pain and my muscles get very stiff abs my range of motion suffers. After my massage I feel almost limber, I can feel more space between my vertebra, and my hips are more fluid. I have decided to make this a monthly treatment. Its a touch pricey, but, it is worth it.

Saturday was my first time going to the Sukho. The establishment is well kept and clean. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. I got there 5 minutes before time and wasnt rushed. Ms. Wo did a amazon job and each time I go I will ask for her. I did the firm Thai table massage and it was the best I have ever experienced yet. Ms. Wo worked the area in my back which caused me to make the appointment this weekend. Im glad Ive found this place and I will tell all my friend about it. Well worth it!!!

I have never had any type massage before today. I was a bit nervous walking in, but was warmly greeted. I was a bit early, & was offered to go ahead to my massage room to rest while I waited for my therapist. Sophia was very professional and did a great job to focus on my problem areas and took care to make sure the pressure was ok for me. The massage hurt so good. But, I read about this type massage before booking and expected them to stretch me in ways my body didnt want to go. However, walking out, I felt like a new man. My back did not ache at all, as It did when I walked in. I literally have not felt like this in years without a bunch of medication. I highly recommend this for anyone that has stiffness and muscle aches and can handle and little twisting and bending. I booked a second session before leaving. Lastly, the homemade Tea at the end is AMAZING. and im not a hot tea kinda guy, but its delicious! Thats All...

I had an appointment today at 5:45 for a massage and received a text message yesterday asking if I wanted to come in earlier but I couldn’t so I declined and they said it was okay and that they would see me tomorrow. Today I receive a call saying that they aren’t able to do that due to a scheduling conflict but when I brought up that text message the young lady said she doesn’t know who sent me that. Then stated they had nothing to offer me today.They get two stars bc getting a refund was easy at least.

While I was getting this massage, my brain kept going off in a fireworks of thoughts about how good it was. I kept thinking the word healthy and afterward remembered that Chutikan said that she wanted to use her tools and abilities to help me. This is not the fluffy type massage that one might see in a Hollywood movie. Its real interactive deep tissue, with pressure set to your comfort level and needs. This massage and Thai Massage are about health, which I need. I am a business owner who has arthritis. I really didnt have to tell Chutikan what I needed, because she sensed and worked the areas that needed help. My wife who had a massage with Kay said the same thing. I want to say more, because my words dont live up to how much this has affected me in a positive way. I think we will get on the monthly package to be healthier, more flexible and to have at least a short time each month where we slow down and attend to our bodies needs in this way. Have also had several great massages from Mary.
