I travel a lot and I like to frequent cigar bars during my travel. I visited Capitol Smoke Raleigh, and they were very welcoming and courteous. Bri gave me a tour of the humidor, and Tori was excited to tell me about some of the products that I inquired about, and even offend to change the music if I wanted to. They have a nice selection of cigars and the ladies were very nice and welcoming. Yes, I would recommend this place to anyone thats in or visits Raleigh.

I absolutely love this place. great points system, and they sell a few of my favorite prerolls for cheaper than anywhere else in the triangle. knowledgeable and kind staff even if they’ve never seen you before. they have a huge selection of everything, but i most often come for the glass pipes, which they have so many of that you could spend hours looking at them all. they’re a bit pricey (like from $50 to $1000+ depending on what you’re looking for), but they are all very unique and made by local artists. they have even had local artists blowing glass in shop a few times i’ve gone there

Visited this place ,on February tenth, with three of my friends while touring the city. I was welcomed immediately by a friendly staff and plenty of interesting high quality products. All our questions were met by knowledgeable respectful answers.We then decided to sample some of the flower they advertised within the store and were even invited to their outdoor lounge. The experience was delightful.Upon leaving, about an hour later i realized i had forgotten my car keys there. Luckily the staff at capitol smoke managed to store them safely for us till i was able to get them back.They definitely went above and beyond to ensure a good experience for me as well as my friends. Yall Saved the day!

Ive been patronizing this shop for 5yrs and as an avid cigar smoker it has one of the best stocked humidors anywhere. Awesome selection.

I don’t think it’s fair to penalize customers by charging extra to use a debit card, especially since on two occasions you were unable to break a $20 bill. Yesterday your website said you were open, but after driving all the way downtown I found the door locked and a sloppy sign saying “closed today open tomorrow.” Your site says you’re open now, and while there is somebody in there he is not answering the call hone. Long way to drive — twice — for a complete n toss. Not making that mistake again. I’m in Cary now at a store called c&s. Very professional, amazing selection. Best of all, they’re open. Goodbye, slackers.

A lounge with no restroom for paying customers. I have been a fairly steady patron of this place. Until today, I went in to buy cigars as I normally do and ask for a restroom after checking out. Then I was told I can’t use their ls because the employees had to clean it and it became “too much” . I could understand having a policy where only paying customers can use your restroom, but to tell a regular returning customer that they will have to go next door to use a restroom is very inconvenient policy that will deter regulars. You have multiple seating areas as well as events here yet don’t offer a restroom for your patrons. I realize this is solely my opinion but you for sure lost a customer today.

Love this place! The variety of products is amazing there’s definitely something for everyone here. The staff goes out of their way to share their knowledge of the products to help achieve the best purchase for you. Bri is the lady in charge and hand picked the best- worth the trip every time.

This is by far my favorite shop in Raleigh. They have a wide array of products from vapes, zyns, cigars, glass, THCA, etc.The shop itself has a great vibe to it and I love the outside back patio during the day. The First Friday events are great with live music, live glassblowing and a great way to meet other people in Raleigh. Staff are very friendly and the manager of the shop Bri is very good at her job and making sure everyone is taken care of. High class Capitol Smoke.

Stopped in while in town for work. Staff very personable and informative. And the dog was super sweet and adorable. His dad (whom works there) gets two thumbs up and he was some nice eye candy. Would definitely shop there again.

I strongly recommend implementing armed security for the safety of both customers and employees. Security measures are crucial in this type of establishment to prevent potential issues. Additionally, having security would help maintain the positive atmosphere by deterring disruptive individuals, such as homeless people, from entering and disrupting the great vibe youve cultivated.

Poor selection, does not maintain regular product lines.You end up beta testing products on every visit, since they dont maintain any regularity.

Hes incredibly knowledgeable. Customer Service must be his middle name. His smile and demeanor light up the place.He brings positive energy and a can do spirit to the place! Had a great first visit. Patrick is the bomb, his knowledge on different strains is insane. Hes like Tony Stark, Jimmy Neutron and Shaggy from Scooby Doo all in one.The flower quality is top notch.

Capital Smoke is a sight to behold. The store and its many items and displays might as well be a museum of art. Beautiful glass, TONS of water pipes, regular pipes, papers, ashtrays, and lots of miscellaneous items as well. Perhaps what’s most striking to me about this place is their walk-in humidor. Talk about huge! Needless to say they have an extensive selection of quality cigars. The only reason that I elected to give them 4 stars instead of 5 is that everything in the store is more expensive than it should be. Case in point, odor eliminating candles are $9.99 here, $6.99 at the smoke shop closer to where I live. That’s quite a difference. That being said, I will continue to shop at Capital Smoke, I’ll just not buy anything I find too pricey. All in all it’s a wonderful place with a gigantic selection of goods and a very polite owner. I most definitely recommend you check it out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

Large walk-in cigar humidor with a variety of cigars to choose from. They also have a nice little seating area you can sit and enjoy your smoke. The staff was very respectful and welcoming. Almost felt like a cigar lounge however it’s just smoke shop. A very nice one at that. Definitely will be back the next time I’m in Raleigh.

I frequent this place whenever I am looking for a cigar close to downtown, and they never disappoint. The Humidor is kept well and there is always something here that smaller b&m stores dont have. Prices are really fair, most the staff dont have a lot of knowledge of cigars, but are super friendly and know their inventory well. They also have a rewards membership and offer discounts when buying cigars in bulk. It is a perfect place to help restock your home humidor, or even buy a couple of stick for a road trip!

The people working here are super knowledgeable about their products, and are just super cool in general! They have a great selection of hand-blown glass (including local artists!!) as well as CBD and other derivatives, and all kinds of smoking accessories to fit your needs. Ive purchased some of my favorite pieces here!

Capitol Smoke has an excellent selection of glass bowls, bongs, cigars and other smoking products. Their staff is kind and helpful, and they will help you find the product youre looking for. Everything is reasonably priced and Capital Smoke is a very popular place, so some things go off the shelf quickly. They restock often, so if you cant find what youre looking for the staff will let you know when it should be in. Best head shop on Raleigh!

10/10, from friend to friend, I would recommend. hands down the best service Ive ever had when purchasing glass. reasonable pricing across the board and the staff is always ready to answer any questions I might have or point me in the right direction. AWESOME FIRST FRIDAY location w/ live music, live glassblowing, and free keg beer (after providing proper identification of course). there is a large humidor with a wide selection of cigars and Capitol Smoke is also one of the few places to purchase cigarettes near the warehouse district.Capitol Smoke is so choice... if you have the means, I highly recommend stopping by.

Very kind and honest staff. Not a wide selection of vapor products, which is what I shop for, but guy behind the counter was willing to show me what they had and understanding when I told him I may go to another shop. I go in periodically to see if they have anything new in my section, but never find what Id be looking for besides maybe some juices (which they have the higher end juices at reasonable prices. A++ for that). Definitely not disappointed in the store or staff at all though. Rather satisfied with the fact that they dont try to make me buy anything that I dont really want. Would definitely recommend for a smoker, just not for a vaper.

Alex helped me and when I came in and was as informative as he could be, but the whole staff is incredibly friendly and helpful staff, the atmosphere of the shop is welcoming and the glassware speaks for itself but just incase you havent been inside, its high quality and theyll always run you through everything you need to know. Im not a smoker myself but all of my friends love Capitol Smokes cigars would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone. Will definitely be back.

Ill give this place one more try after Ive been vaccinated and when Covid slows down. I wanted this place to be my go to cigar lounge as there are few choices in Raleigh but they choose to not provide a public bathroom. Im not interested in walking next door and using another businesss facilities just because they choose not to fix their bathroom. Kinda hard to hold it in for 2 hours while enjoying a cigar. They fixed their windows when they were busted last summer, not sure why a bathroom isnt a priority.Most of the employees here have been above and beyond fun to be around and helpful. One lady was pretty miserable and off putting. Humidor does not have the quality of other shops although this place specializes in other products.Please fix your bathroom and Ill be back.

They have a nice selection of cigars and accessories. Customer service there was very below my expectations. So there is no area to smoke your cigars. They did not have ashtrays or suitable cutters for the cigars for customers purchasing cigars. This is a place where you come pick up your cigars and tobacco and leave it is not a smokers lounge. And I would not recommend this place to friends or family.

They have plenty of other merchandise, but I go there for the great cigar selectionThe cigar buyer listens carefully to his visitors and has a board to suggest new buys. I buy most of my cigars here.North Carolina has really expensive cigars due to taxes, but their prices are quite reasonable. The staff is also extremely helpful.

They have wonderfully made In-house glassware! Plenty of your vape and tobacconist accessory needs available! A nice selection of other headshop products and accessories! I really enjoy going here! I can only give it 3 stars, though, because Im a cigar smoker and they are really lacking in their cigar selection. Not lacking in quality of selection but in quantity of brands. They have a large walk-in humidor for cigars and well humidified. Yet it doesnt feel as though they are using more than 30% of the usable space. Being a cigar smoker this part of the shops services is more important to me than the other well known products and selections they provide. And they are very knowledgeable in almost every product that they carry. Cigars not so much. I still recommend them to any cigar smoker I meet while downtown Raleigh since they certainly have the convenience factor of being in walking distance of just about everywhere else while downtown.

Best Italian restaurant in Raleigh. A quaint and cozy atmosphere. A place that makes you feel lake you are at home with Friends and Family. The food is so amazing. You must ask for the fish of the day. I have never been disappointed.

I have been here a few times and I agree with the other reviews that the employees do not really seem too concerned about providing good customer service. The selection of glass is pretty decent and the store is nice but this does not make up for a lack of customer service. Also looking at the other negative reviews (minus the cigar incident one) it is clear that the owner would rather reply with sarcastic and childish comments than apologize for crummy service. I am not an expert here but that is a terrible way to retain customers and bring in new ones.

I love the people here! Capital Smoke is more than just a Vape/Glass store, they host live music sometimes, which I found out thanks to the helpful lady with fun glasses and black hair! I don’t normally take time to review places but The customer service was hands down the best I have ever received. As a business owner myself, I know how important it is to make customers happy but this place went above and beyond! The man at the counter, Jack, was so knowledgeable and took the time to explain the products to me so I could make a decision for myself. I will absolutely be returning!

The selection seemed great, but the attitude from the clerk was sub-par. He seemed annoyed and did not express the knowledge of the product that I expected. It turned out they were out of what I needed, so when I asked where I could find a shop that did, he refused to tell me... Kind of understandable, but also smug. I will never go back to this establishment because of the service, not the merchandise. In contrast, the shop that had what I sought provided the opposite experience. Went in and bought a vape pen, within a week the battery stopped heating the coil. When I took the battery back, I was told that it indeed was not working (thanks guys) and that the shop did not do refunds or exchanges. I was just looking for replacement of a faulty product, and was pretty much told it was my problem. Also agree with the earlier review that the staff dngaf. Was recommended to go there by friends, cannot see myself going back, there are better options in town with better customer service.

Its a cool place. Friendly staff too. I just really wish they would let you test the different e-liquids, but not all places do that unfortunately. I always like to know what Im buying though.

Great selection on everything from glass to tobacco! However many times Ive been there, theyre supposed to be open and there closed. Frustrating. Kinda seems like they come to work when they feel like it.

Walked in and the dude didnt say one word to me the whole time. It was my first time here so assistance wouldve been cool but whatever I guess. The glass pieces are way over priced, and when I bought a bowl the guy said these dont last very long, and when I replied with Im not spending $80 on something half the size and that holds half the amount, he literally replied with, I guess man . Will never go back.

Recently visited the shop to pick up a new chillum. I found an awesome one with an opal inside the glass. Found out it was a signature of the artist at the shop and many of his pieces also have one. The shop looks like it has everything youd expect to find and more. The only downside is finding parking, but after around 6 you can park in the back. Its the tiny street on the right just past the shop.

Also knowledgable and willing to help with and explain their products (so much stuff out now, one can feel a bit foolish, when left to figure out own your own)...

While I am new to all the products introduced, CBD or otherwise. I came in and Issac greeted first thing and asked if I needed help, he was so polite and knowledgeable that I was in and out. Answered all my questions with a smile on his face (I could see it despite the mask he wore) really awesome experience overall, gonna come back everytime I need something. Widest selection of smokeshop in store products, Ive seen in a while. Greeted at the door with personalized recommendations, most important (to me) they carry a nice range of CBD products from gummies to tinctures to lollipops oral syringe tinctures vape cartridges and more. Great service and deal surely will return for more CBD!!!Edit: they are no longer carrying CBD products. For this reason I have dropped 2 stars otherwise they have a wide selection of bowls bongs grinders and other various tobacco products such as wraps/papers rollers etc

Good sized walk in humidor (mostly empty) with a small but fair selection. More of a head shop with an extreme selection of paraphernalia...I would not recommend it for the serious cigar aficionado.

The staff was nice and helpful but i went to buy a disposable device and i went on the website it has on the packaging to check to see if it was authentic, turns out it is not and they didn’t give me a receipt with my purchase so therefore i can not return it. It is still in all the package it came in, i am just afraid it isn’t safe to consume.
