Hands down the best shop in town! My buddies and I have been going there for years . They got great options for whatever you need , and the staff is stellar - no one beats my man Don . He can hook you up with whatever you need . Awesome place !

Normally a great place to shop with friendly knowledgeable people. Rating a 2 star because they sold me a disposable vape that malfunctions and will not even grant me an exchange. I spoke with the owner and he was no help.

The staff is very friendly but buying cigars from this store is not good. Seems like they don’t rotate their cigars and I have never seen the humidor working. I tried them twice and same results. The cigars are dry and has the same taste of the humidor. Couple of days later went to a cigar shop bought the same cigar and 10 better than the quality of the cigar at joker smoker. They just sale cigars just to make some extra money, but being a professional cigar taster I know how a humidor should be and the taste of the cigar as well. Cigars are to expensive to waste money. I will make the drive further just to get a quality cigar. See Ya😊

Pablo has been amazing every time I visit. Very helpful with great product knowledge. Gave great recommendations of different products to try. I’ve been back several times for the customer service and the wonderful and large selection of products. This store is top tier for sure.

Hands down the best selection of kratom extracts in town. Good selection of delta 8 ect vapes, and thc-a flower.Prices are a mixed bag, some prices being great, others much higher than other shops.My only complaint is, please put your pricing directly on the products, eliminating the need to ask your employees to price check 100 items and creating a better shopping experience.

This vape and hookah shop is the best that i have been to by far. They have the best employees Kobe and lucky will help you with anything possible they have the best customer service no problems here. Not to mention the best prices out there. I went to another shop closer to home and they were charging 21 bucks for the same charcoal i get a Smoker Joker for 9.99. Who can top that ?

Came to Joker Smoker today looking to see if I could get some help with my vapor. Turns out what it had was a bit complicated thankfully I was greeted coming in the store and the owners son took a good deal of time helping me out with my device which I had not even purchased there. He and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It seems that they know a lot of their customers which says a lot. Also they pretty much have anything you would ever need in terms of smoking and vaping. They also have drinks and snacks available. Aside from their awesome staff this tobacco store is very clean, organized, and it looks trendy. Does not smell or look like typical tobacco shops. I will definitely be back ☺

Love this place! They always have my cartons of cigarettes in stock and I couldnt ask for better service! When I started becoming a regular here they made it a point to ask me how much and how often I would be needing my cigarettes just so they could keep them in stock for me, who else actually does that?! I’m a long time NC native and have been coming here for years. After dissatisfaction from the lack of customer service, knowledge of the product, and quality of inventory the last time I was here (a few years ago) I swore I would never return to this establishment. However, after walking around the shopping center while waiting for my lunch, I decided I would stop by the shop to check it out. To my unexpected surprise I was delighted to find out the shop was under new management. After speaking to a young gentleman by the name of Lucky, he informed me the new owner took over and cleaned out the store - new staff, new inventory, and most importantly, better customer service. Everyone in the store knew their products, and if they didn’t, they pointed me to someone who did. I was impressed by the wide range of disposables, hookahs, and glass pieces. I wish I knew about this take over sooner. This is the best shop in Raleigh to find something you’re looking for, doesn’t matter if you smoke wax or cigs, they have a product for you. Im glad I stopped in today and i’m extremely grateful for Lucky and the rest of the Joker Smoker team that helped me earlier today, stop by and support a local small business.

It was an ok shop. We purchase a dinner cigar from. Total Wines and never paid any attention to the smoke shop next to it, so we gave it a chance. The owner over the last three years has been consistently the same. He is rude with a attitude. I tried again to see if things had changed and stopped by today, they hadnt!. He was short with me and acted like he was doing me a favor. I was asking questions and he got a attitude with me. He told me to get a life and was yelling at me after I told him how rude he is. I ran into a bad situation at this place with an unfriendly associate, however the owner made the situation right and apologized for the associates behavior later on. The new management is ok. They did clean up the store and made it a great spot for cigarettes and smoking accessories. Worth stopping by and looking at their selection.

These guys got it all and for some great prices. Bought my first hookah from here and Tony spent at least a half an hour explaining how everything works. I will definitely be back!

They have a great selection of products here - I have always found what I was looking for. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. They have smoking apparatuses of all kinds ranging from large and extremely expensive to small and cheap enough to dispose of pieces. They have all of the important related accessories as well - CBD stuff, lighters, grinders, scales, papers, leafs, cones, vapes, etc.

So I ran in there for one thing and came out with 4... a brand new glow in the dark bong (ask to see the glow room) with a discount! The manager is super sexy and the workers are really helpful. I have to stop by every time I come into town. Right across the street from the Walmart on newborn! Thanks you guys

Joker Smoker is the best place I go for my needs, whether it is a quick 5 minute stop or I get talking to the guys for an hour, it is always a pleasure.They got the best tools and items plus the most fresh tobacco in the area. Tony is cool but everyone else isnt. They dont really know how the vape community worksI buy my juices and coils here and its pretty understood theres a lot of duds that go out. Got two in a row after less than a day of use and theyre basically like well they come in new so... Like yeah i hope they do. Obviously. Thats not really the point. Every other store would hook you up - every store till I came to North Carolina. These people are a different breed. Paranoid, greedy, dumb.

There a many stores of its kind in Raleigh. I would strongly advise any one considering making purchases from this store should think twice. The owner is very brazen with his rude behavior and his flippant and disrespectful nature should not be tolerated. Ive been in the store 3× (in 2 years) and each time he was extremely disrespectful. Today I came in the store browsing the inventory. He casually asked what I wanted as I looked behind the counter at his inventory. I replied that I would let him know in a second when I found out. He then laughed and said: You let me know? How about you let yourself know..? A comment that was totally uncalled for. I said thar I wasnt shopping there anymore. He shrugged his shoulders and said. Ok before speaking loudly to either me or his associate in Arabic.

It has different hookah tobacco brands with reasonable prices, i highly recommend it. I always get my supplies and they are ver friendly.

Tony is the man. Its my usual spot but today I came in having an idea of what I wanted for my girl and he had great suggestions. Highly recommend and great prices. Thanks Tony!

I go in here all the time for hookah supplies and its great every time. The staff is awesome and kowledgeable, they have a great selection of shisha, coals, bowls, and other hookah supplies. They also have a wide selection of cigars, cigarettes, CBD products, and anything else you could really want.

Kobe and the light skin brown young man are hands down the most respectful and well educated men I have met yet. Plus they are cute and funny.

The owner is a liar and a thief. If you buy ANYthing here, and it does not perform its sole function whatsoever... do NOT expect a refund. Everything in the store is marked up to nearly twice what you would pay anywhere else anyway. All the good reviews here were written by his friends. DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR MONEY. I hope this business sinks like the Titanic.

Been here to purchase CBD oil for my dog who has severe separation anxiety, staff has always been helpful with all my questions and the place always looks clean and well kept.

Dont believe these other reviews! They are most likely from the owner! I went recently. Different person behind the counter, but still just as unfriendly and rude as before. Prices were outrageously inflated. Saw a Grav piece and was told that it was $40. It sells on the Grav website for $14.99! And when I asked about a different grav product, you would think that I had just insulted his children. I got the heck out of there because it was just that uncomfortable.

Great experience had a positive experience at the joker smoker and even felt like family. Will definitely show my face more and also their products are fresh as always.

This shop is a great head shop. Both locations are stocked slam full! You can spend a lot of time in these shops. Visit the blacklight room at the New Bern ave store. The employees @ both stores are really cool.The capital blvd. store has vape liquids & the New Bern store doesnt. This is due to there being a Kure+CBD shop that sells vape liquids, which causes a conflict for the landlord. These shops are more convenient than the original shops near NC State.

Went in for some cigars, while I was a bit apprehensive bc of the negative reviews I rolled the dice and was pleasantly surprised. Not only did they have what I was looking for, but they also carry the bundles of JRs cigars. Will definitely be back.

Went there tonight with the desire to purchase a cutter, seeing as I had left mine at home. Myself and my friends walked in as he was talking to another customer. I walked into the humidor to check out the selection, and was entirely unimpressed. I walked out to glance around the rest of the store, and the owner asked if I needed help with anything. I told him I was just glancing around real quick. Less than a minute later, he said to the customer he was talking with that I was wasting his time. Long story short, the way he spoke to me and my friends was nothing short of rude and intolerable. Im glad my card got declined, so I didnt have to give money to that swine.

I came in to pass some time to look at some things and get some stuff also. Im somewhat impressed by this store. I have smoked for quite some time but have recently decided to give up cigarettes. I am a cigar buff though and needed propylene glycol for my humidor. The staff member there was not necessarily rude but very curt(which doesnt bother me as a notherner), and had no idea what propylene glycol was. He pointed to it in his walk in humidor once I explained what I needed. Great, I was thinking about adding some new cigars anyway... until walking in. It smells nothing like a humidor. It reeked of mold. I braved it and took a look. Every cigar I could see had mold on it. Grabbed my glycol and got out . Right as I made my payment, I felt sick. I got extremely lightheaded, nauseous and came extremely close to blowing it all over the counter. DO NOT go in the humidor. I will say if you want something aside from a cigar, this place has a great selection of glass, hookahs, hookah tobacco and everything else at a totally decent price. Everything else seemed totally legit and fair. Just stay away from the humidor.

The owner created a BAD shopping experience for myself and my friend. Upon arrival to the shop, I was ready and willing to spend money on a product I had already picked out. Needless to say, he was RUDE and I left without spending money and without leaving with what I came for.

I visited this establishment for the first time to purchase an e cigarette on 3/14 for my boyfriend. I was trying to describe to the guy that was eating behind the counter what I was looking for. The guy was rude and unprofessional and kept telling me they dont sell weed. He sat back down behind the counter and started eating again. After I said excuse me...he got back up and asked if I needed a battery. I told him no, I was looking for this e device that you put liquid in. I obviously dont smoke or know the terminology. However, he refused to listen to what I was asking for and kept ranting that they dont sell weed. I thought he would be able to help me since he worked there. I dont know what his problem was but I will never visit there again. Definitely poor customer service!

Never been to a place where you ask to see a product and the immediate response is this is too much for you to see . I will never ever step foot into that place again. Most racist experience ever. You would think that Muslims would respect their fellow man/woman in a better manner. Especially with all the flack they already have by representing that faith/culture in the 1st place. Absolutely in unacceptable! They dont even deserve one star! Shut this place down.
