If you intend on Karaoke you must arrive early, once the crowd sets in, there can be up to 30 people set to karaoke before you, so have your songs ready and known what you want to request prior, also the food is great, Alcoholic beverages reasonably priced, also this bar is very small so as the night progresses it gets pretty elbow to elbow, very social atmosphere great vibe!

If you dont drink alcohol prepare to spend $4 for a soda😐The karaoke is always awesome a lot of great singers and everyone is very nice!

Did not eat there but the drinks were strong and the people were really nice karaoke was fun I had a great time every time I go there

This is one one of the best kareoking bars in redding very friendly atmospheres drinks and service if you love people and like to sing and laugh this is the place to be no dress code they have an outside deck for smoking as well not forget to mention Awesome Bartenders

Great place to hang with friends and sing karaoke, but the bartender was so heavy-handed that I couldnt drink it. Was like she filled a glass with rum and forgot to leave room for the coke.

Non alcoholic drinks are overpriced. Had an issue with a woman physically harassing me and told one of the workers who then just made fun of me instead of actually trying to help with the problem. A different night my friend got roofied here. No dancefloor and not enough seats, felt like most of the crowd was much older, and karaoke is fun but you have to wait a very long time. Maybe others enjoy it here but Ive only had bad nights and prefer other venues. Im sure the other workers are nice but wish my concerns were heard by the one I did interact with.

Great service and enjoyable drinks, usually fun people to meet and talk to during karaoke. I havent had their food so I cant comment on that seeing as my girlfriend is gluten-free and cant eat the food there.

Seems like a real local hangout. Good bartender and service… karaoke tonight drew a crowd.

Absolutely love going here to do karaoke 🎤 The d.j. is great and very talented! All the staff, including the bouncers, the bar tender, and the black jack dealer are wonderful!

FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!!Monday-Thursday they serve until I BELIEVE BUT DONT QUOTE ME 11PM!! Such good food!And uhhhh!! THE STAFF!!! Killer! They always remember me by name and several of them have been there as long as I can remember! The KJ is always on point and you can’t get a more dedicated crew!I have came Here for years and always make this a stop for anyone I am Hosting from out of town!My Favorite food~ the flautas!!!

I really did enjoy coming here for the karaoke but one of my mixed drinks was absolutely butchered. Tasted horrible. I ordered a blue screw which was supposed to have 4 ounces of sprite and there was nothing but pure alcohol in it, no sprite.. I might as well have taken 8 shots. Yuck.

Fun, cool, and very relaxed atmosphere. The food (I had 3 tacos) were unexpectedly amazing. Its a bit cramped but comfortable. Highly recommend this place for a Saturday night!

Some blond lady was in there harassing the customers about their past, dont think she should be allowed to stay if she is stalking past relationships. My friend and I left because nothing was done to remove her.

Had alot of fun with my friends. We were there for Kareoke, awesome DJ, good drinks, great staff and a friendly mixed crowd. There is an outdoor section where you can bring your drink and have a smoke if you like. The establishment itself has a warm but classy feel to it. Even card tables in the back!

Amazing and extremely friendly bartenders along with all around friendly staff and its just an all around friendly atmosphere. Met some really great people who sing amazing karaoke. Food was delicious. You cant go wrong with a visit to this place. We were traveling through and it was our go to place for the 3 nights we were here. We tried a couple of other places and this place has them all beat. We will definitely be back when we are down this way.

Very friendly staff, and karaoke every night. On any given day of the week this place will have a decent crowd and theres always poker in the back, or pool/air hockey. Plenty to do, always very clean and interesting atmosphere. Bar is a little small and can get crowded on weekends.

Went here once and cant wait to go back.

I absolutely love this club! Ive been going here for a number of years and have never been disappointed. The karaoke and drink specials are second to none. Not to mention the service is great and quick. Danny and his Rockstar bar tenders will amaze and excite you with their skills. Oh and did I mention they have excellent food and there is a live game of Texas hold em 24 hours (covid hours may be different) I would bring my grandma here because of the atmosphere is so Mello and I have taken my oldest son here for his 21st birthday to show him what a real bar is all about. Wife and I always enjoy love karaoke here. We don’t go as often as we’d like but when we can, we have a lot of fun here.

Definitely one of the best kept secrets in Redding... not for the bar and karaoke, everyone knows about that... but the food!!! They have (without a doubt) the very BEST tacos 🌮 Ive ever had. The flautas are incredible too! I know, I know... sounds crazy, but Im NOT kidding, the food at this place is freaking amazing.

The atmosphere is good, and they always have Karaoke, which starts at 9pm. However, the drinks are a little pricey. At least there is free popcorn. The fries are good but havent tried anything else.

Had a good crowd, the DJ was pretty good had a good selection of music to pick from. Karaoke starts at 9PM no cover. Didnt have anything to drink sorry cant give you any information on the drinks but Im judging by the crowd I think the bartender was on the ball.

Because of Brandi and the bartenders, this place is a lot of fun. The singers for karaoke are mostly terrible, but its a lot of fun there, and the atmosphere is great!

Monroes is my favorite bar in town by far. The karaoke is amazing. Ami is the best, most genuinely caring and attentive bartender ever. And Brandy always makes karaoke a pleasure. 10/10 would and will visit Monroes again and would definitely recommend it to a friend. Oh! And the free popcorn is legit!

Had fun played some pool and some air hockey but the darts where wore out to say the least. Food was great and drinks came quick. Ask for Amy she is the best

Loved how anyone can sing and everyone chimes in. The bar tenders are really amazing. Playing pool is nice as well. Love the door guys too!

I have many friends who go and also work there. If your into karaoke then this is the spot. Tell Brandy the KJ that Al sent ya.Now if you like eating food they have the best beef and chicken tacos and many more things to choose from. Im going to go there now. On the weekends I think they serve food until midnight.

Small bar area that can take a long while to get a drink. Crowd is mixed but not typically Reddings finest. Karaoke night is pretty much dominated by people who are either really good or terrible. But they only sing country so at best its meh. It always feels sketchy going here.

This place was a lot of fun. They do karaoke every night and the drinks were good. Atmosphere was really good as well.

Theres Karaoke which is incredibly fun from around 9pm to 1:30 am. Its been helping me build my confidence a lot and I have met some really nice fun people there. The DJs are incredibly nice. I plan to keep going.

Pretty decent bar attached to a laid back poker house. The kareoke run during the week by Chris is always great fun and the drinks are priced well.

I liked it, building is cool, staff was very nice to me, karaoke 9am was fun with a little stage to perform on. Bar was cool too (design)

Loved the bartenders skills and personality. It was kareoke night, and it was definitely entertaining. Prices for drinks was little more then Im used to, but well worth quality of the drinks!

The bartender Marci and waitress Beth are amazing. The Tacos and Spaghetti are Awesome! We dont gamble but we will be back for karaoke next Tuesday night. Thanks for the amazing night Monroes.

We came here, ordered some drinks, sung some Karaoke and went out to the smoke pit to puff on an oil pen I have for service related injuries. Some security guard came out and said Actually (we hadnt previously spoken) doing any type of drugs on this premise is a felony offense. We have you on 3 cameras and you need to leave now or we will call the police.So in short I give this place a 10/10 on entertainment, 7/10 on atmosphere and 8/10 on prices. Drinks werent too stiff, but sometimes thats nice you know?

Very rude and hostile place. Manager was completely inappropriate and cursing at my friends. I think the woman wanted to start a fight. This place is trash. DONT GO HERE!!!!!

My friends and I went to monroes and the bartender was so rude! My friends were kissing and she yelled at them. They stopped and then later she told them she heard them talking about what she said to them and that they cant kiss at the bar. We decided to leave because of the hostility and on our way out she yelled bye 3 times directly towards them incredibly rudely! we will never return! This is a bar not Sunday school.people are allowed to kiss!

Great bar and staff! Fun groups of customers. No drama. Liquor in the front, poker in the rear... Game tables have good staff and theres always a good vibe.

I go here every Sunday and most Mondays, and it is easily the most fun bar in Redding. The DJs are great and really fun to talk to. They have karaoke 7 nights a week, and is the only place that does around hereThe food is great too. Get the Hangover sandwich and experience nirvana haha.

Awesome Kareoke, 7 nights per week, good food served late, and the best bartenders around. Solid selection of both fldraft beers and spirits, plus the marinara sauce is homemade by the owner.

I LOVE Monroes. Theres isnt a better place for me and my friends to congregate and have fun. Amis drinks are killer and Brandis kareoke is the life of the party. I cant think of anywhere else that does kareoke where you generally want to stay and keep singing, or stay and be a part of the audience until close. Plus the outdoor area facing hilltop is the place to be (if youre a smoker of course). Ive never had any drama, Its always got a good vibe in there. 10/10 will always be loyal to Monroes over any other bar in town.

The place was closing and I was trying to pay for my non-alcoholic drinks and he was trying to kick me out. I personally love kareoke. It was also my 21st birthday and the people around me were great. Also the kareoke woman had an amazing voice. 100% loved my first experience.

I love this place so I only have good stuff to say, the staff are awesome, the drinks are cold, and what a stage! You never know what you’re goin to get for singers and that’s what I love.

I like the atmosphere here, however on karaoke nights the sound system needs improvement. Its not the singers that sound bad, its the speakers and possibly the placement of the speakers

I usually play Karaoke Friday nights. I dont like singing, but my fans love the irritating and scratching sounds of my vocals...

We got there at almost 10 on Saturday night. No Karaoke and no sign when it may happen. Bartender with little affect, and we paid 7.50 for single shots of booze. We left.
