Love this place!!! Bartenders are fantastic! Pizza was awesome and will have to get another on next visit. Bought several drinks for myself and others and was $50. Not bad at all. The DJ’s they have here are top of their game and well experienced!

Group decided on this venue without my input so I didnt have a chance to read up on the FAQs related to Bach parties. However, once our bride took off her sash, we were good to go inside (after a $15 cover charge, ID scan, and measurement of bags.)The front of house attitude already made us feel unwelcomed despite our group being made up of queer women and this being a queer-friendly space.Diegos patrons seemed particularly unfriendly to women, and us being femme-presenting did not seem to help. One such patron approached my group and started chatting about how were here to avoid being groped by straight dudes in regular bars. After reiterating that we are in fact queer women, he said I dont buy that at all. And then he proceeded to buy us straight women some shots, for which I suppose I should be grateful. The employees who brought out the mixed shots were very understanding and polite. The patron then demonstrated on ME how he can pinched a male servers butt. Despite feeling gross about it, based on how the management made us feel upon entry, I kept my mouth shut as this person seems to be a regular there.Positives: Music was great, there wasnt much dancing but the place is well-decorated and spacious.

Hi all. I don’t typically leave anything like this, but this place was terrible. The bouncer told our female friend that her purse had to fit in a specific box. She placed her purse in said box. It fit, and he turned us away. This place is a waste of time. Do not go.

Unfortunately I’m dropping Diego’s from a 5 to a 2. We were charged a $25 cover per person plus a $10 bag fee. This seemed excessive considering there wasn’t a show or live entertainment. A $25 minimum for credit card also seemed excessive.We will go back once the cover is dropped since we do enjoy the bar otherwise.

Don’t waste your time here. Staff discriminated against my party in the parking lot and we ended up leaving because of the unkindness shown. So much for inclusion. They absolutely ruined our night at Rehoboth beach. Dewey beach was a much better experience.

I wish them well, but i ultimately can’t recommend if you are visiting rehoboth—they are seriously price gouging our community.recent saturday night cover was $25, then a $25 credit card minimum for tabs. they can rebut or comment on this review all they want, but this is my opinion and i ain’t changing on it: you are overcharging, period.(note, bars on baltimore ave downtown with similar vibe usually never charge cover—consider those….)

My 3 friends and I came down to the beach for weekend to celebrate a friends birthday. We ended up here Saturday July 8th before 11. Loved the indoor outdoor vibe! Pizza was fantastic (must have) staff was friendly and drinks were great! The music was more than what I expected for a summer Saturday night! That dj was awesome and we danced the whole time! I hope to get back here again soon! -K

It’s the place to be if you’re looking for energy. The best DJs. Very accommodating staff. I stop by every night when I’m in Rehoboth.

Diegos is the place to be on weekends. It is our favorite spot when we are in town to go out. There is something for everybody here. The outdoor space is expansive and great for mingling with friends, and the indoor dance floor typically has great music that packs the club until it closes. Drinks are very reasonably priced and the staff is always very friendly. It is always guaranteed to be a good time!

The drinks at this place is way over priced. You can get cheaper drinks in New York. If you go don’t drink. If you do. Bring at least 100 dollars per person.

Watched him almost get punched by a customer because of it. Great first impression. Second, they are scanning your ID to enter. NEVER let a private business do this. They will insist that its safe (they always say that) but this is not secure and is potential identity theft waiting to happen. We decided to go somewhere else instead.UPDATE: YOU ARE OUTRIGHT LYING. But you already have a reputation for making up excuses for questionable behavior. Im not some tourist. I have worked at a restaurant on Rehoboth Ave with an extensive bar for 8 years. No law in DE requires you to scan a license unless the person looks under 27 and trying to insinuate otherwise is a lie. You CHOOSE to scan everyone. Secondly, my husbands job is identity security for a DE bank. Arguing that the same situation applies for credit cards and online ordering is just deflection. Those processes have security processes in place. ID scanners at bars are not secure. NEVER LET A PRIVATE BUSINESS SCAN YOUR ID.Your door guy is not doing his job. Scanning IDs is his job. Being an unprofessional a-hole to your customers and starting fights is NOT his job. If you want to bring up Club-Q and Pulse as an example of then you need to teach your door guy to not start fights with patrons before someone comes back enraged and puts people at risk doing the same thing that happened in those clubs.

This was a fun spot to go to during a random weekend my friends and I decided to take a trip to Rehoboth. We went to the all white party this past weekend and it was fun. It was a coincidence they were having this event the same weekend we were coming but surprisingly it wasn’t that crowded. Drinks are cheap and they don’t skimp on the alcohol. I recommend this spot to meet new people and for good vibes. I don’t remember the music much but it was a good mix.

Whats not to love...delicious drinks, great outdoor space, fantastic service. No hesitation grab a drink and make memories!

Update: i had a bad experience last time. Today i came with some local friends to have a good time. But soon after they scan my id a guy at the door said that i cant get in because of my criticism last time!?People use fake name/account to post negative reviews, i dont, because it is what actually happens and I dont see why hiding my identity if its true.-----13 months ago-----Horrible service!! Didnt know the bar closes at 1am in Delaware, I was sitting near their outdoor porta potty waiting for friend to finish his business in there, the guy who clean up the table came to me with some attitudes and rude, instead of telling me theyre closing nicely, he was simply tell me you cant sit there, you gotta go, because that particular table is not one of those the smoking tables and i need to leave now, so i ask him were at the outdoor area and I pointed groups of people that were still sitting, smoking and chatting near me. He told me that those tables few feet away from me are the smoking tables, so i say ok, then Ill just grab our drinks and move over, and he replied no, and said that he had already cleaned those tables, you either drink up or leave your drink on the table and leave. Im not happy that why those people didnt get booted but me, because I was sitting at the wrong table? Not so sure how Diego earn their business with such poor service? We left so quick and dont even have chance to close our tab 🙄 wondering if they will charge us admission fee when we go over to close out yesterdays tab?

Really bad place, went into the inside of the bar which was closed off fine wasnt blocked off didnt know, even though we had just seen people dancing there owner got mad. Fine went to check out bartender repeated everything the owner said which was a little odd the bartender said he wanted to punch me in the face and poured my wine down the drain. Needless to say will never be back hopefully they learn to treat customers better!

Very expensive drinks. I bought a shot which was very small and 1 corona beer and was charged 30bucks. Plus a 10dollar cover charge if using debit card or 5dollars if paying cash. There was a two drink minimum. The atmosphere was great though. Fun dancing. Had indoor and outdoor areas.

An interesting establishment energetic and energetic and fun with 2 versions of outdoor seating a patio and a beach themed area where you have sand and tables and if you add a few Adirondack chairs. Always have some interesting music going on and a lot of people on the weekends if you want somewhere to hang out to meet new people this is definitely the place to go. The bartender Anthony there is very accommodating and super fun to talk to

Had so much fun playing dirty bingo with Magnolia Applebottom. Service was fast, drinks were good, and of course, lgbtq+ friendly. Also Ive heard they have the biggest, and only, dance floor around. When I come back to Rehoboth, I will definitely visit here again.

***@Joe:Thank you for your response. I fully understand . The point is your hosts are not trained to ask for it politely. We had IDs but we decided to walk away due to their utter rudeness. The second point is I am not sure how effective it is to just check ID since it would be difficult for you to check the data on it. Anyways, I suggest you train your staff to be polite. We arrived early with barely anyone there. The host cannot claim to be curt due to being busy. We ended up in another venue where we were warmly welcomed and had a great time.

Hung out here for an evening with my aunt and grandmother. It was right before tourist busy season, and a weekday, so it wasnt crowded. It happened to be a drag trivia night as well, what a fun time! The bartender was super nice and took great care of us.I didnt know what to expect going in, especially with my grandmother in tow. We thought wed stay for one drink and had quite a few (fantastic cosmos!!). Everyone in the bar was welcoming. The weather was kind of drab that day, so we didnt get to check out the outdoor area but it looked great! Ill be sure to spend an evening at Diegos every trip to Rehoboth!

I had a fun time at Diego’s over Memorial weekend. Staff was all friendly and the drinks were good (and decent pours, too). Music is hit or miss. Friday night sounded like they were playing a Spotify playlist, but Saturday and Sunday were better. They have heaters outside for when it’s cold, which really helps a lot - I barely noticed it was in the 50s. On busy weekends they need to set up another bar. Drink lines were wayyyyy too long. They had a couple guys walking around grabbing drinks for people, but they weren’t vocal enough so you didn’t really know that was an option, which crowded the bar.

My husband and I went to Diego’s for my birthday and ended up walking out. The atmosphere was great and the bartenders treated us good. The problem we had was the price of the drinks and they do not have food. For 5 drinks it cost us over $120. That is unacceptable. We only got rum and cokes. We ended up walking in the cold to another bar that had better drinks for less and they offered food. Think twice before you go to Diego’s. If you do go make sure you have a full wallet! It will be a pricey night out.

We wont go back. Which is a shame, as the outdoor space is very nice - open, airy, but sheltered. It was our first time there. We checked published sources ahead of time to make sure smoking was permitted outside - and it was - but not for cigars or pipes, just cigarettes. NOWHERE is this stated - not on their facebook page or website (my fiends said they checked online ahead of time to see if they could smoke their cigars there).When we arrived, the manager (owner?) gave us a brief first time here orientation at the door that included a joke about the wristband system letting you order more drinks even when you were so drunk you couldnt talk (the gist of it), but never mentioned the bizarre smoking policies. So, my buddies lit up their cigars - outside, in the smoking area, surrounded by cigarette smokers, where there were also no signs saying no cigars or pipes.At no point did any of the other patrons around us inform us of the policy (one clearly early drunk patron asked us if it was ganga or a sausage we were smoking... perhaps obliquely/sarcastically reminding us about a policy we never knew in the first place?), but someone obviously complained and a waitperson appeared to confrontationally and rudely inform us No cigars at any time- and if you have a problem with that you can ask that man right there (pointing to the manager) - as if expecting us to make a scene. We were confused, but quickly and politely put out the cigars, despite the snotty delivery of the message from the waitperson.On the way out (to find someplace we could enjoy our preferred smoke), one of our party stopped to politely ask the manager about the policy - mainly so we would understand the basis of the odd policy and ask where we would have been able to see that policy before lighting up and having to put out (waste) some expensive cigars. We would inform our friends where to find it.I am told that the manager was even more snotty than the waitperson was - snipping that people had been leaving because of the cigar smoke (or something to that effect) and they had not allowed them for years - acting as if someone that was there for the first time should somehow magically know that.Earlier I had said to my party that I found the outside space nicer than when it was the Double L, but sadly that is all that is better and the rude interaction with the staff/manager was enough to erase the positive first impression and sour the evening. I will not return and will advise all my acquaintances away from the place.Again, not so much because my husbands and friends cannot smoke cigars there, but because of the complete idiocy of not posting the policy anywhere a reasonable person would check and then rudely slinging attitude at those who are - understandably - unaware of it. Unprofessional and rude.So, the manager was correct - people were leaving, five of us, because of the cigar policy. We have a better time inviting friends over to our yard and lighting a fire - without all the attitude.

I always have fun here! The staff is top rate, and the owners did a great job of remodeling. I like that they always have a special drink or vodka featured, and also a locals night on Tuesday.Only place in town with a pool table too!

Had an extremely nice time there. Unfortunately, my experience was soured by whatever the bar policy was that didnt allow bartenders to provide cups of water. When I asked, I was told I could only get a bottle of water - which cost an absurd $4. I begrudgingly went to pay with my card, and was told that there was a $15 minimum to use card. Unless there is some state law/health code/whatever that I am not aware of, this just seems like an indefensible petty gouge to not just provide people a cup of water for free when they need it. This was on a night when the cover fee was $25.

Great time with fun patrons. The bartenders tried very hard to make my drinks as I asked and were extremely friendly. The music was awesome.

Its a tad pricey for drinks plus sometimes a cover charge. Mostly and older crowd but again summers over. Nicely decorated and dance floor.

It’s ok. I’ve traveled. Lived in over 50 places across America…LITERALLY all they play is Madonna…they need to update the playlist. Where is the cardi B. Megan the stallion, lady Gaga, nicki minaj, you’ll love it if your 50+ but it’s not for young pretty ppl here…EDIT*****The DJ was not trying to change the music at first but I stumbled upon his wife while smoking in the outdoor tent and she got him to change the music, ended up being a pretty fun time and I hyped up as many people as I could to dance, beautiful lighting on the dance floor and strong drinks! Not too bad!

A brilliant transformation from the previous venue, into a safe friendly fun environment that ranges from dance club to front bar to back patio chill area. A good asset to the community and something decent in that area away from the beach but very walkable from there.

Incredible bartenders/service. New beach bar is a fantastic addition. Since my first visit in 2016, I have always been impressed with the staff in this welcoming inclusive bar.

I would have given 5 stars, but I was told I couldn’t put my feet on the floor without a mask, and quite honestly...I have a big butt and the stools are uncomfortable. So I wish I could have stood at the table without a mask. Anthony was amazing, but he never came to visit after he got off work. So for that reason 4 stars.

$25 cover. Packed way beyond capacity. Literally got pushed over on the dance floor and was scary getting out.

Up until recently I was working on the pizza truck on the property here at Diegos. Joe and Darryl are wondering people to work for, I highly recommend going and trying the pizza!
