Freddies is a welcoming environment and a fun time..... just dont eat the food. It is awful...among the worst Ive had at any restaurant. The drunken clams were disgusting, like Id rather drink dishsoap. The grilled bread served with the clams was cold. The cauliflower pizza was bland and served cold. It was like they bought a frozen pizza shell, smothered it with the most bland pesto sauce they could buy, then threw raw chunks of tomatoes and mozzarella on. I would never eat here again, just go for the drinks.

We have an amazing time at the drag show Freddys better known as do the most was an amazing experience for the 1st time my friends loved it as well we will definitely be coming again and the nachos are on point. The drink you see is called a pink something really good.

Super fun and friendly crowd every time we went there. Karaoke master was so sweet, and Brad the bartender was the BEST. Such a nice guy and part of the reason why we went back. Thanks a bunch!

Good place for drinks but don’t eat their, food is stale. Music was great and patrons are friendly at this location. We met wonderful people, however, we felt that if you are regular bartenders will be nicer with you compare to visitors!

For fun and good times you need to go to Freddies. From drag night to karaoke they have all the fun activity. Alcohol prices are the low to mid. The finger food also taste 👍. Of course this is 8ne of the famous 🌈 establishment near the boardwalk. And yes they serve COKE ZERO yeayyy FINALLY found ZERO soda in REHOBOTH. :) 😁

My friend and l stopped in one evening while l was in town. We both agreed; it was awesome, clean, friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere.Matt, the bartender was friendly, knowledgeable of the entertainment, food, and of course the wonderful drinks. We actually went back a second evening. It was that good!!!l was so impressed, that l will be checking out the one in Arlington. Which isnt that far from where I live. Ill definitely be back to Freddies in Rehoboth my next visit which will not be that far off!!Thanks!!RB

A pleasant bar. A friend was visiting so I wanted to take him here. The disappointment was there was a $35 cover charge per person. The money goes to breast cancer research but this was a steep cover charge. Many people left after hearing of the cover charge…if they want to donate to this worthy cause, do it but don’t force patrons to donate. I feel like they lost a lot more money with the many patrons walking out.

Im not sure my earlier review posted. Worst bartender ever! The bar was about half full and he couldnt figure out how to take care of it. And he had the audacity to make his opinion heard on politics when he wasnt asked. I used to come in there 3 or 4 times a week. I will not come back if I see hes working. And since I dont know when hell be there, Ill just avoid it. And Ill suggest to others that they pass it by. Im local and have been loyal to Freddies since it opened. Youve lost me: and the people I used to send your way. One bad employee can screw a business.

Freddies Beach bar is an awesome place, the food was good the drinks were excellent and the atmosphere is awesome, the food and drinks were reasonably priced and the entertainment was excellent. It was my first time going to a drag queen show and my fiance and I had a great time, will definitely be going there again. The staff was very friendly and the people were very friendly also its a good atmosphere and a great place just to relax and have some fun.

We were in town for Sea Witch & stopped by after the parade to find the place closed on one of the busiest days downtown. We were told they opened at 4pm so we came back around 7 for an advertised party, but they were still closed. We were also in Friday for the follies show with friends and they were low on beer and certain mixers. Two of our friends left after waiting too long to be served at the barWe loved Freddies when they opened & they have the potential to be a fun spot, but with the current service issues we most likely wont return which is disappointing. We hope they get back on track.

Karaoke is fine on a Monday -Thursday until 9pm. But on a Friday AND on a holiday weekend having awful Karaoke until close on a FRIDAY? No. U have had DJs there in Jan with 5 people and it’s been a blast!!! aDo that and put the tables up in the corner. The line for aqua is 200 people long and you have no line. You could be great just adapt please! Will change my review to 5 stars once you see it . Don’t want to hurt business but let you know what everyone was thinking

Great place to hang out. Love Fluffy. Shes the best. Very friendly. Makes very good drinks. Id give 5 stars but my only complaint is the DJ. She plays the music too loud....so loud you cant talk to others. No need for the volume to be that loud. Why? The managment needs to address this. Makes me want to leave. Cant communicate with the person next to you plus she repeats songs previous played.

OMFG I love this bar! Had the best time while on vacation down here. I will absolutely 100% be back whenever I get down here. The bartender, Fluffy, and the fabulous bounce, Andy , were amazing and loved the DJ! The other patrons were all so awesome. LGBTQI or just a boring old straight couple - you’ll have fun! I highly recommend it ❤️

I dont typically leave reviews but this time, I absolutely had to. About a week ago, I had just finished a trip full of homophobia and feeling like the family embarrassment. I took my partner (equally exhausted from the dirty looks and gal-pal treatment) here, hoping to have a fun relaxing night to unwind and you all did not disappoint! Our server was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was welcoming and incredible. As a bonus, it happened to be karaoke night and thats one of my favorite bar events! If I could give you guys more than 5 stars I would. It was a great experience and Ill definitely be back whenever Im in the area :)

This restaurant seemed like it would be a fun and queer friendly place but it was extremely anti black. They threatened to call the cops on us because we were upset about a receipt issue.The server cut us off while ordering and was inattentive. We ordered cocktails thinking they were apart of the happy hour menu. The server did not let us know and when the bill came back we asked why it was so expensive, she immediately told us shed send over the manager. The manager came over and talked to us like we were dumb about how the menu is exactly written- the happy hour says mixed drinks and the menu says cocktails. She was extremely short and was not truly listening to our issues. Ive never spoken to the manager who didnt even try to understand the issue. They were all extremely deceptive about what we were paying for. And when we got frustrated we decided to just pay for it and leave and the manager threatened to call the cops on us.

This place has such great potential. Unfortunately, they fell very short during our visit. We were the only table, and waited over an hour for our food before telling us their oven wasn’t working. They were out of basic condiments like ranch dressing. To replace my food, I ordered a BLT which came out with cheese and onions on it, and our friends egg was still raw. I gave it two stars because the server and bartender did their best to entertain us while we waited.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Freddie’s beach bar last night. We’ve visited Freddie’s in Arlington VA numerous times and we were so excited to visit his location in Rehoboth beach De! We were not disappointed!Freddie greeted us with open arms and hospitality! I had not seen Freddie in years. He is ageless and always has that never ending smile!His new restaurant bar is so welcoming and wonderfully decorated. The hostess and servers were very attentive and professional and we enjoyed all of our delicious libations. In fact I enjoyed my first shot ever in my life!The music and sound system was perfect and the dance floor was very accommodating for my daughter who got up to dance.We love the nightlife in Rehobeth but this is now our favorite! Had really looked forward to trying Freddies and will have to try it again but before 10pm and when the bartender isnt preoccupied singing karaoke! The management was fabulous but wish I hadnt been introduced the way I was 🥺. I am strongly discouraging anyone to order food after 10pm.I am local so I will try again it looked like a lot of fun and nice crowd

Went in, were seated and two of us were given drinks. The server went back to get the third drink (iced tea unsweetened) and never came back. We waved our arms and tired to get someones attention but were ignored. We left 3.00 on the table for the soda and left. The server was so wrapped up in a conversation in the kitchen door she could not be bothered to help us. There were only 3 tables of people in the entire restaurant. I would avoid this place.

Great vibe, nice decor, but food is very inconsistent. Every time we go, the staff has changed, as has the menu. Seems like a good place for a few drinks, but get dinner elsewhere.

The Pamela Stanley show was what brought us in and she put on an amazing show as always. Service was great and drinks were perfect. Didnt get a chance to try the food unfortunately.

My family and I had dinner at Freddies. It was pricey for bar food, but we all enjoyed our meals. The staff was friendly. The decor is eclectic, and we liked the tagline LGBTQ+ straight friendly restaurant and bar. We did have 2 issues. The place needs some serious cleaning. Maybe the bar ramps up in the evening, and theres not enough time to recover from it? But we have used a ton of public restrooms since we have little kids that need to go a lot, but this one was yuck. And we were originally turned away the first day we tried to go because there was an event. But the event wasnt listed on Google or Facebook so we had no idea and had walked there and then had to make a new plan. We probably wont be back, but Im sure its a great place to grab a drink.

What a wonderful place!!! Great vibes, awesome staff and a perfect party menu; a good, chill, sit down meal? They got that. A few munchy style apps? They got that. Late night bites while you enjoy great cocktails and a respectable beer list? They got that. A clientele that makes a short bridge between strangers and friends? They got that! The star of the show is the staff. I work and live in Rehoboth (6 years now) and Ive not experienced a more accommodating and loveable staff than I have at Freddies, the absolute best. If you come to Rehoboth and dont go to Freddies, youll miss one of the best parts of Rehoboth.

Was there for karaoke night. Not a big crowd 15 20 people at 10 pm. Had the dumplings apples, excellent bartender recommended them. The also had a ham and grill cheese w fries special for 7bucks. Made a good cosmo. 20% decent singers rest should keep their day jobs haha. Not a large gay crowd. Mostly strg8 couples.

I did not eat here. The location is right off the main strip. The waiters were good. This does not have the feel of Crystal City. The doll collection is worth looking at

Went there last night for the first time.It took forever for us to place our drink order, waiter was totally lost on how to enter our drinks in their handheld computer. Two of the four drinks we ordered were incorrect. I / we had to tell the waiter five different times what type of drinks we wanted, two of them which were only a Titos vodka, cranberry with a splash of orange juice. After bringing the drinks to our table three different times, he finally got it right. The food we ordered was excellent, great job Chef !!! Love the curb appeal look of the building out front, but the interior was totally not what I expected. I felt like I walked into a toy store, if youre into Barbie dolls you will love this place. Theyre sound system sounds like a transistor radio sitting over in the corner, whats up with that ???

Loved being there on Friday night with a group. had the spinach artichoke dip and thought it was very good. Entertaining, loved the songs the DJ spun up and the show. lip syncing well is an art form all by itself. just wish the person beside me didnt get the last available piece of cheese cake lol.

Was visiting Rehoboth and decided to stop by with my partner. Ordered some drinks then decided to order some food. My partners glass was dirty so they replaced it. Anywho, when the food came out, I broke my chicken tender in half and it was RAW. Like freshly raw. The outside was hot, but inside was juicy and pink. Our waiter apologized & took it off the check. The manager never apologized which was shocking! Was highly disappointed because The Freddie’s in Crystal City, VA is immaculate! We go there quiet a bit.

It was a fun time for all. Several family members sang songs. The whole family enjoyed watching how well they grew.Give it a shot. I know you will love your time there.

Worst experience! 1st the table we started at smelled like vomit. 3 tries at a gin and tonic and tonic flat and we told them it was! Fish was terrible, served with salad but no dressing had to ask for some. Cheesesteak sandwich tasted like they dropped an opened bottle of pepper on it. And it didnt come out till people at my table had finished eating, never eat there again!!!

Excited to see Freddie’s come to Rehoboth! It was quiet when we were there but fun sitting at the bar and the DJ was great! Only reason we aren’t giving it 5 stars is because they had the news on multiple channels, and when you are away at the beach and at a fun bar like that, news was a buzzkill. They should play videos!

Freddies Beach Bar is always fun! We were looking for a place to grab a bite after seeing a show at Clearspace Theater. It was Sat and to our surprise Freddies was the only place in town with an open kitchen after 9:30! Thank you to Freddie! Great food and drinks!

Very bad place to go to in Rehoboth Beach. Had dinner with cold soup and no silverware or napkins. Spent $80.00 plus tip. Went to bar to get drinks after dinner. Would not get waited on and then went to see manager to complain. Actually got thrown out of bar and they called the police on us because we wanted waited on.

Went there on St. Patricks day. Had a great time. Food was excellent and so was the service. Freddy came to our table and made sure everything was fine. Nice place, nice owner. Go support this business!

Very great place to eat the food was very appealing to the eyes an the plating was beautiful. This is definitely an up coming bar an restaurant. The looks give it a bar feel but the food gives the comfort an soul food feel to everything you eat with a twist in the upscale bar field

Wasnt busy and three of us sat at the bar for 15 minutes and the bartenders looked at us and never greeted us or attempted to say anything or help us. Very disappointed for our first and probably last attempt to visit this venue. I have never experienced this anywhere... very odd.

Not the cleanest place to eat and very slow wait staff. If you’re there to party, you should be good. But to get a drink and a bite to eat, you might want to try someplace else.
