I went to my first show here Wednesday night. It was nothing but wonderful! Such a beautiful venue, the stage felt so close to the crowd, it made the experience feel so intimate! I will definitely be returning!

Had an amazing time! Loved the live music. Not Green Day & Smells like Nirvana put on an energetic show that crowd loved!

Went there for a metal show, good atmosphere, clean bathrooms, good sound quality. Average price for alcohol. A small venue is the only complaint. Had a great time!!

Intimate venue, wade variety of shows, great selection of drinks at the bar. Its a nice spot to tap a toe or bob your head.

Awesome Venue, I had a great time Performing on Stage at the Doc Gruesome & Warlord Colossus show on 10/15 and had an equally great time watching from the Crowd! 🤘

Great little venue. The sound is surprisingly good for the smaller venue. Great beer selection! Nice outside patio/ smoking area.

3/23/24 update: after another night without pisspoor service, I give a 3.5. Still no excuse for the treatment a yr ago.3/7/24 Update:raised to 3 stars. Went back a couple times for favorite local musicians and had a good time with fair service. That one time before was still inexcusable.Nice bar, if youre not wanting a drink.Bought two tickets for my lady friend and me to see another friend who was releasing her new album.We waited at the bar till two bar stools opened.Then, patiently waited till others were served. Then, we waited patiently as at least 5 regulars walked up and received immediate service.10 more minutes later, we decided to leave.$24 they got us for tickets, coincidence?. Wasted a couple hours of our evening.Fun place, yet,a very unprofessional establishment.

Cool spot, especially for live music, they bring some of the best artists Reno sees. Otherwise, cocktails are good enough, the bars nice, sweet outdoor area in the back, Im a bit fan of this place though I usually only go when theres a dj.

We have attended two shows at The Cypress this past year. We had a great experience both times. The staff was super friendly and the venue was very nice, especially the patio out back to visit with friends. I will continue to attend events at The Cypress.

Went here for a music performance, was pleasantly surprised at how awesome this place is! Bathrooms were tidy, bar was well staffed and stocked. Definitely could see this place being adorable for a non traditional wedding reception 😍

Great little entertainment area with a bar and some seating. Its not large, so get your tickets early.

Staff is very friendly, and bathrooms were clean, even during the St Pattys Day/night festivities.Great selection of beers and cocktails. OTHERWISE know as the Saint, stop by you wont be disappointed.

Cypress is such a rad place to hang out. I love how they have different styles of artists, and many different options to drink (including plenty of GF). Love the tile under the bar. Really cool spot, highly recommend.

Great venue for the Burlesque event attended. Excellent atmosphere and customer service. Outdoor smoking area is inviting and clean. Good job Cypress!

Final the place I always pass on my way home from work. We saw our favorite band play Lespecial great acoustics for a small venue.

I absolutely love this place. The ambiance is welcoming, and the bartenders SO FUN. They are so thoughtful, attentive, and make the BEST cocktails ever! (Pro-tip, they ALSO have a mocktail menu!!) They have more beers on draught than I would ever know what to do with, and their live music always engaging and fun. 5 stars, and Id give it 6 if I could for the outdoor patio and the beautiful handmade features throughout the space. Its a really thoughtfully curated venue and we are SO lucky to have them here!

Im old and anything but cool, but man is this place nice! Great venue for live music, delicious drinks and good service at the bar. The back patio is amazing and call me weird but I was really impressed by the waterfall faucets with hot water in the mens room. Well done all around!

This place was really comfy. Kinda small, but it wasnt packed during my visit so it wasnt bothersome. The girls behind the bar were super nice, attentive, pretty quick and definitely earn and deserve the tips, so tip em well! Theres a really sort of tranquil outdoor smoking area off the back, but you dont feel like youre outside at all. And literally every person patronizing that evening was super polite and kind and just displayed common decency toward each other which was super refreshing.I visited Cypress on a whim. Hadnt been out in a decade. Im glad this place was the place that sort of re-popped my cherry. Music was good, service was great, atmosphere was chill, and I was wildly surprised and impressed by the entire experience.

Could not recommend this place more! One of the best places in town. Cypress is a magical space that attracts an eclectic group of people from all over. The drinks are delicious and the staff is lovely. This place is a special spot and if you haven’t gone, it will soon be your favorite.There is a RumChata drink which is my favorite - be sure to ask for the name because I forgot it!

Great music venue with good acoustics and good bar tenders

Cypress is generally fun. From dance lessons with Tiempo Latino Dance Company to some random bands. Every time I come here its fun. Plus good beer selections.

I’m so glad this place exists! This is my favorite type of place to see live music and have a bar. They are kind, welcoming and friendly! Whoever is doing their booking is brilliant and they have taken it upon themselves to create a different kind of place for the Reno night seen and I do believe that they are not only achieving that goal but they are doing their best to create a safer dance space for womxn by being approachable if something weird happens with a drunk person.Going out to live live music is my favorite thing and I am so excited to keep going to shows at Cypress!PS Parking in midtown is a little tricky so plan ahead 🤓

Amazing venue, bartenders and owners! The Salsa Bachata Thursdays hosted by Gerzon Chaves from Tiempo Latino Dance Company are my favorite! If you have not been check it out! We love this place. Its a great Reno local spot with awesome live music.

Bartender was awesome. Didnt catch his name. But he was working the Reno hair show last Sunday on Feb 26th. As a former mixologist in Vegas it was refreshing to have him recommend something that was really good and new to me.

This place has a great atmosphere! We use this venue for music events and the great service that comes with it! EDIT: Still an awesome venue! Never disappointed here!

Came for a show and had a couple drinks. Great bar and intimate venue, but theres still room to dance!

The music was good but I wouldnt go back to this place after this Experience.If I could I would give you no stars I went inside to relax and get something to drink but no one even ask me if I wanted a drink 10 mints and a voided me and one person was looking at me as if I was homeless just because I had my gym bag with me

Best music club I’ve ever been to. Nemo in Seattle was really good, too. The Fillmore in San Francisco, by comparison, is the worst in the country, typical liberal bullshit—no spikes at a metal show and their minimum wage losers trying to steal your $500 and screaming at people for smoking on the sidewalk when there were plenty smoking inside the show. The Aura in Portland, Maine was the same thing.But tonight’s Black Flag show? Anything goes. And guess what? One of the highest energy shows I’ve ever been to. The one place in the country besides Discovery Park’s Aftershock in Sacramento where punk rockers and metal heads—free spirited non-conformists—can still cut loose. Will be back and next time I’ll bring my expensive spikes.100-star music club!!!

Great smaller venue for fun music.

My son is a DJ and my other son was working the door. So I had to go and my boys. I love my sons music and I try to go and see him when he plays if he doesnt go to late. Its a really nice club and there is a lot of space in side.

Great music venue and a very attentive bar staff. There are some areas where both the stage and TV monitor are obscured, but that could be a feature as much as a bug.

I love the drinks they make, and the bartenders are super friendly. The atmosphere is great, and there are different spaces in the bar they utilize well.

We had a work related party here and really enjoyed the venue. The bar service was efficient and friendly, there was a large outdoor area in the back that helped us spread out.

Love the new venue....great outdoor area with seating and lounge area. Also serving delicious mocktails if your going to be a designated sober driver.

My first time going to this venue was on Saturday and had a great time. They had a great lineup of EDM music and the people that showed up were fantastic.

Such a great live venue if you like a nice open great room with good ventilation and large dance floor. Music and staff is very good!
