I enjoyed the music, the dj was great! But no one barley dances and it was Saturday which was annoying, me and my group of friends were the only one dancing on the dance floor until like almost 3 some people started dancing. But overall it wasnt bad but drinks are a little pricey but thats really all.

This Club is HORRIBLE, ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SICKENING, AND THEN WHAT EVER IS BEING ADVERTISED ABOUT THIS CLUB IS ALL LIES!!!!!!. I do not do reviews however my experience was so bad that I cannot let someone else go through what I went through and especially on my BIRTHDAY.I called this club to query about some bottle packages etc.- The person who answers the calls, gave me an old package quote.- This is not an all 18+ club, boys must be 21+ and girls 18+ to enter. Members of my party were about to be turned away, because they were not 21+.- Everyone free before 12. LIES!!!! my party showed up before 12, but for some reason they werent being allowed to go into the club because boys had to pay $10, and i had my name on a VIP list, but apparently they couldnt find it.- The attitude from Andrea the so-called manager, was absolutely atrocious. One of her employees recommended this club to me and after finding out the package quote that was given to me earlier was a fraud. We worked out a package and had everything set. Only to find out on top of all the setbacks I listed above, when time came for me to purchase my package at the club Andrea did not know anything about the bottle package I was talking about. She became frustrated with me like this was all my fault, like i was pulling numbers out of the air. So when i showed her the conversation between I and her employee, she became more agitated and still dismissed the fact that I wasnt at fault here. I had to deal with woman for about 1hr before another member of my party had to get involved, After that she then told me not ask for her anymore, do not look for her, and do not talk to her RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. Even going as far as to tell me/show me how busy they are and that my services ARE NOT NEEDED. I was spoken to like; I was delusional and that these conversations were never had, even though the text messages were being read.- It took another employee to actually allow me to explain what was going on and to see that even though I DID my research and that I WAS GIVEN WRONG PRICES that I did not come here to cause problems. She ended up giving me a decent package, because I really did not care for the $$$ of the alcohol, I just wanted a VIP Section. However I am not going to give you my hard earned money, when your club doesnt live up to what THEY ADVERTISE, and then on top of that the MANAGER has an attitude and straight up disrespected me. Because of her attitude and the poor communication from the club to its new customers, I would NOT recommend this club to anyone, nor WILL I attend this club again. I’m very pissed off I gave them my money and even spent more Of it in the establishment. If it wasn’t for that caring bottle girl, trust me i would have apologized to my guest, and had everyone go back home.

A complete waste of time. A $20 cover charge on a Saturday night to listen to an inexperienced DJ and a few people scattered on the dance floor, who looked completely bored. Watered down drinks of course and might I add that this establishment is in need of an update...It looked like it needed a good cleaning. I left within an hour.

Great club. I am from the caribbean and when i need some good down time with great music this is my go to.Its very spacious and service at the bar is relatively quick . Music is always great. You are bound to enjoy yourself here especially on a Saturday night

This establishment has false advertisement, went on eventbrite to purchase a ticket for a live performance by Nailah blackman but when I got there, waited for more than 2 hours and she never showed up. I basically just wasted money. I got there and the dance floor was dead and people looked bored.

Club was nice and spacious, kitchen closes late..saw about 3 fights but security had it under control quickly..they had too many djs who ran through the same set of songs. Would probably go again

THIS IS THE CLUB TO BE AT!!!!-Security always on point and extremely friendly.-staff extremely friendly, They dry to help you in any way possible.-DJS rock the crowd, get ready to touch the dancefloor as soon as you walk in.-Drinks are perfect. This is the first club Ive been to where they dont water down drinks, really worth your money!!!!When you walk into Maracas NightClub,expect to have the best night of your life!!!5 STARS

I was invited to Maracas by the artist performing at the club. I arrived early it was pouring outside and I couldnt find parking had left the people that I was with in my vehicle double parked with blinkers on. A 4x4 truck pulled out of the spot in front of the club I got in my vehicle and parked in the spot infront of the club sat there waiting for the artist for about an hour. There were 2 green cones behind my vehicle didnt think anything of them. A man with a Black tee shirt and combat colored shorts came to the passenger window and told me to move my car to another spot. I asked him why did I have to move and his response cause I told you to I gave you permission long enough to park here my friend needs this spot I asked if I was standing in a handicapped parking or a no standing. He was loud and rude and said Move cause Im telling you to move the car behind you is going to park here. I told him if I am not illegally parked there was no reason to move! He in returned said All your people are problems dont bother moving stay where you are youre not coming in the club. When the artist Representative arrived I told him the issue, he told me not to move the car you are parked fine. We proceeded to walk towards the Maracas club door where we were stopped by this rude individual, and he told all of us that we were not allowed in cause we refused to move the vehicle. He was not wearing anything that identifies him as security for the night club. He wouldnt let us in until the spot was available for a known friend of his that had slipped him a roll of $$$ for my spot, we saw this. I decided to ask for the owner no one at the door wanted to call him or give me his name(we found out later inside MIKE the owner was at the club when this happened at the door), this rude security that takes money bribes refused to give me his name as well. I got soaked from head to toe moving my vehicle because the group I was with wanted to stay. At the end of the night inside the club I was told by people inside that this rude money taking bouncer is of Jamaican decent and he is the head of SECURITY AT MARCAS HIS NAME IS DAMIAN he is light completion with light colored hair. I would not recommend this club to any of my latino people as he stated we are problems! I dont feel its safe to be at a Night club where the head of security acts this way. I am strongly considering writing to Albany in the state of New York to report him, his Security license should be looked into. This is definitely not someone we need working as Security I cant begin to imagine how many more of my Latino people that HEAD OF SECURITY DAMIAN considers problems have had issues with him as well for not moving their vehicle to accommodate his paying customers for a luxury spot in front of the club in the pouring rain. The club Promoters were very nice & apologetic, the manager was also apologetic & very nice as well. Other customers told me they have had similar if not worse issues with DAMIAN. I dont recommend this as safe, will not be going there again. Everything I wrote can be verified by the Maracas Security Cameras, I also have video of the SUV he had parked in the spot where I was. Hope no one else experiences this and the owner MIKE rethinks of putting this DAMIAN HEAD OF SECURITY in charge of the night club like he told us Im in charge, Im the boss! I guess he feels he owns the street as well..

My boyfriend tried booking a VIP section for my birthday and made an appointment with Shaz to come look at the place on Tuesday and put the down payment. Tuesday, Shaz never picked up his phone. My boyfriend tried calling Wednesday and Thursday thereafter to no avail. I called Shaz from my number RIGHT after my boyfriend tried calling and low and behold, he picks up and we set up a time to meet. Obviously he was avoiding my boyfriends call.Meeting was fine, everything was standard. He also advised that we settle the bill before the night is over, so there are no surprise charges from other people ordering on our tab. We did just that.On the night of my birthday party the bouncer told all my friends the VIP passes that Shaz gave us are not valid and they have to pay $20 to get in when Shaz told me the cover would be $10. It was embarrassing and annoying to go back and forth explaining and bargaining with the people at the front door.Apparently, they booked an artist last minute for the night, but no one ever told me that. Shaz said nothing about an artist being there nor did the person who collected the cake and decorations earlier that night.I tried calling Shaz that night and he never picked up his phone and never reached out thereafter to make amends.Also, the chef was not there, so we were unable to get the appetizers as per our contract.My friends and I will never step into Maracas or host another event there again. They dont know how to treat their patrons.Judging from the small turn out for the artist, its obvious that they were just trying to make some money that night and refusing to take the passes forced my friends to have to pay to get in. If I had not already closed the bill as per Shazs advice, I would have walked away and went somewhere else.A little bit of professionalism goes a long way in building future relationships. After that pappyshow, never me again.

The bartender, white female, on the night of the reggaeton/dembow superstar El Alfa performance on 2/22/19 from 11pm-4am, was selling water (bottles) to people in the club for $3 that night in the beginning. Bought them from her 2 times then the 3rd time she charged and brought up the price to $5 for absolutely no reason when I asked her “why $5 now????” The white bartender and looked like indian man behind the bar, both looked at me and just shrugged there shoulders charging extra. That is absolutely horrible and disgusting. Owner should know about that. Period.

Great West Indian club, but they have the same DJs/set all the time. Bouncers think they are large and in charge. Always give guys bad attitude.

Love how big the lounge was! Great bartenders and clean bathrooms!Dj was good, the music was popping and I loved how there was a photo booth! Endless photos! 😜

Terrible service to customers , security lacked any kind of sense . Had people waiting in 20 degree weather on line for hours to eventually not let anyone in . I will never come here again and will tell others . Security needs to be disciplined for this !

Best Birthday ever. Great and friendly worker. Very helpful. Music was great. Definitely would recommend.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. My first experience with security by the door was extremely ridiculous, I’m 100% sure I was being discriminated against from being let inside.
