Vitality Float Spa

I love Vitality. There are a lot of great options in Richmond too, but they are just so wonderful I keep wanting to book more and more. I have gotten massages from Val and Derek depending on what days I’m available - they have a lot of scheduling options and are open later which I love. Val is so great at what she does, sometimes I’ve come in with so much pain that I’m not sure it’ll ever leave, but then I always walk away feeling so relaxed and pain-free. I started seeing Derek as well when I wasn’t available on Val’s usual days, and wow Vitality are just out here hiring really talented people!! I would highly recommend either of them, and I also had a facial for the first time with Madison that was so insanely relaxing and left my skin looking really good. The float tanks are also quite nice. And for real, the front desk coordinators are so friendly, great with communication and sweet about mistakes or needs to reschedule. I enjoy every visit and it’s been so restoring to my health!!

Ive been going to Vitality for a while because I absolutely love my facials with Kahlia. I had my first massage there last night and will absolutely be returning very soon. Id been having some stiffness in my neck and shoulders; Carrie listened to what I said I needed and used her knowledge to give me one of the best massages I have ever had. Seriously. It was amazing and I felt better as soon as my appointment ended. I really cannot sing her praises enough. If youre thinking about getting a massage, DO IT. Then go get a facial :)

I recently had a massage by Lindsey here and she was PHENOMENAL!! Best massage I’ve ever had. As someone who works out often and often has sore or tense muscles, her approach to stretching and massaging had my body feeling at its best. I wish I lived closer, because I would be a regular for Lindsey! Highly highly recommend!

I had the Body and Mind reset package which included one hour of float and 1 hour massage. The float was a new experience for me and it felt fabulous, except the last 10 minutes triggered my motion sickness. The massage Lindsay gave me after my float session was just what I needed- deep tissue, hot stones, and more! It’s the best I’ve had in years! Highly recommend

The best massage Ive ever had! As a dental hygienist, I carry a lot of strain in my neck and shoulder. Rhonda is amazing and customized the massage to my needs. She told me about areas that felt tense and gave me helpful tips post massage. I really enjoyed cupping and the hot stones! I definitely will be back!

My facial was absolutely lovely, and the esthetician who was working with me had great communication and questions about my skin’s needs. She used great products and was very well-practiced, and it felt like heaven! My massage was also fantastic! Everyone who I spoke to at the spa was so sweet and friendly. The spa itself is very clean and beautiful. I would absolutely return!

I had a wonderful experience at Vitality! I opted for the pod just due to a last minute scheduling on my end. I was worried it would feel a bit like a coffin but as someone 6 feet tall, I could not touch the ends stretched out. I did not feel claustrophobic at all. I fell asleep in the pod for about 45 minutes of my hourlong session. Top notch customer service. The room was clean and tidy, and stocked with not only essentials, but a few extras. So relaxing, and my skin is so soft like I’ve been at the beach. Highly recommend to anyone!

Wanted to add to my review and say that we absolutely love coming here. During our second visit we added on a massage service, a facial, and floats. My husband said he came out of the best massage hes ever had with Laura and I myself was so comfortable with Madison who did my facial. I think that 60 minutes is a great amount of time to schedule for a float personally as we did a 90-minute session this visit, and it did feel fairly long. Such an incredible staff, we will be back many more times.

This was a great experience. I was anxious and nervous and Rhonda made me extremely comfortable. She was very attentive, listening to my pain points, and effectively focused on relieving my tension. Best massage I have ever had. Thank You!

If you haven’t had the pleasure of a massage at Vitality I highly recommend going to see Carrie. I had my second massage with her today and wow she’s simply amazing. She truly takes the time to understand what it is you’re looking to get out of your massage and even shares at home tips on how to keep your muscles relaxed. I can’t wait to book my next appointment with Carrie.

First time at Vitality today. Clean, inviting, relaxing environment. Had a 75 min massage and it was the best Ive ever had. Taylor was amazing, and provided effective relief for my ongoing back issues.

Very relaxing spa. From the real plants down to the healing touch. I can only speak of MeMe (sorry if I misspelled the name). I walked in stiff shoulders and neck. Walked out with my range of motion back in full swing. #happyending lol -it was a happy one for me and my neck.

I received a massage from Joe today and I was very pleased. It started on time and it was very relaxing. Joe was very patient and accommodating to my needs and I greatly appreciate that. I will definitely go back soon.

I love this place! I always feel great after a float, not to mention that I’ve gotten one of the best massages EVER here. I’ve had knots in my shoulders for so long, and previous massages at other places didn’t really do much. But my massage today really loosened up the knots in my shoulders for the first time in forever! I highly recommend Vitality Float Spa.

Today was my first visit to Vitality Spa and it was amazing. The space is beautiful and has a wonderfully serene vibe. I had a 90 minute customized massage with Taylor. She reviewed the form I completed prior to my appointment and asked a few questions to truly customize the massage to my needs. The entire experience was incredible and I left feeling relaxed and renewed! I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Angela Hendrick is a phenomenal therapist - I always look forward to my monthly visit with her! Shes genuinely warm and takes the time to listen to me. Her experience with myofascial release has been a godsend with managing stiff and achy joints, and Ive even noticed improvement with my flexibility too.

Took the time to talk about what I wanted and needed from my first session there. It definitely wont be my last. Already booked visit #2 with Taylor. Havent had a massage that good in ages!

I never really had a massage. Rhonda did a fantastic job and even gave me some pointers on how to keep my neck loose while traveling. The place is very nice and everybody is very nice to talk to speak with.

This was my first time to Vitality for a float and reflexology. The float experience was amazing and very relaxing. They thought of all the details to make the experience perfect for each person. You float effortlessly on the salt water.The reflexology session was really special and my feet felt flexible and light at the end in a way I’ve never felt. I can’t wait to see the positive effects of both on my mind and body in the coming days.

First time experiencing a float tank. Definitely one of the most unique experiences that I would recommend anyone try, but will not attempt to describe and influence anyone’s experience going in.The staff were cordial, friendly, and super approachable. As their birthday gifts, I paid for my daughter to have a pregnancy massage, my daughter-in-law had an organic facial, and I had a fascia release massage. All three of us agreed it was an excellent experience, and we each intend to go back!

Every time I go here no matter the person I always have an amazing experience. The table is so comfortable and the people are friendly and offer a warm and relaxing environment. I’ve tried a couple other places but this place is far better and I’m probably done trying new places :)

My first time at Vitality Float Spa was an amazing experience. As a first responder, I have been looking for a Spa where that can aid in my recovery efforts. The Float Pod was so comfortable I ended up falling asleep. I also had a deep tissue massage from Natalia, she was very knowledgeable and after my massage my back pain was very much reduced from how it was when I walked in. A professional, top of the line establishment and a great first experience. I look forward to scheduling my next session.

I had a bike accident in April and have had constant lower back and hip pain since, despite countless doctors visits and physical therapy appointments. I came in earlier this week and after only two sessions of myofascial release, it finally feels like I’m on the right track towards healing. Angela works absolute wonders. 100000/10

My first experience at Vitality Float Spa was Absolutely AMAZING. I did a 45 min custom massage w/ Derek, followed by a 60 min session in the float therapy pool.The pool was perfect; from the temperature to the soothing tunes, to the roominess. Definitely make sure to shower off thoroughly afterwards to avoid salt buildup on the skin. ( I know for next time )The highlight was most definitely the customized massage from Derek. I could tell he was an experienced professional by his technique and by how comfortable he made me feel.I already booked another massage w/ him come the new year!Overall 10/10!

Amazing spa!! I went for a mud bath, and was in awe of the quality, cleanliness, and design of the space. The staff was attentive and peaceful, and made me feel welcome and safe.

I received a gift certificate for Vitality Float Spa for my birthday for a 45 minute massage. Taylor was my massage therapist and she was amazing. Right from when I walked in the door I was welcomed and guided back. Taylor asked me a few questions about any pain I felt and my lifestyle (I have a crazy long commute and I work a desk job so I have a lot lower back and neck pain). She was so sweet and professional, and I felt SO much better. I couldnt believe the improvement after just one session. I will definitely scheduling another massage in the near future!

This place is absolutely amazing; the space is so welcoming and relaxing. I have had a few facials here and they have all been amazing - I leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and my skin is absolutely glowing.Yesterday, I was able to enjoy a holistic facelift by Kahlia. Originally, I was not sure if it was something that my skin would truly benefit from yet. But after talking with Kahlia I was so intrigued by the process (plus it sounded wonderful) so I decided to give it a go. It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Not only was I so relaxed, but my face, neck, and head all feel un-believably lifted and open - which sounds slightly contradicting, but I dont know another way to describe how phenomenal it feels. I could see an actual difference in the puffiness of my face and several lines were almost invisible. I really am blown away by this facial and will absolutely continue to work it in to my regime.If youre on the fence about it - DO IT. Kahila provides a calming and safe space for this holistic facelift experience and I really cannot say enough good things about her professionalism and dedication to her craft as well as the overall experience. 5 stars!!

This was possibly one of the most magical experiences Ive ever had, and it couldnt have come at a better time. Context: the last 4 months of 2023 just kept getting more and more stressful in my world. At the very end of the year, I was finally able to book a package that someone had gifted to me. I did a float session, a facial, and then a massage. The float session was amazing. Instant stress relief. It took me a minute to get acclimated. But finally, I told myself, theres no wrong or right way to do this. And then I got into it! The aesthetician who did my facial was knowledgeable and personable. The massage therapist was kind, thorough, and effective at working out some tough areas. The biggest thing though is that everyone was patient and made me very comfortable, answering all my questions in a kind and respectful way. Very LGBTQ friendly and inclusive. A big shout out to them also for supporting local public schools with a donation of a float session for a fundraiser were having. Just a good company run by good people providing an amazing set of services. Youll enjoy your time here.

I had not been to Vitality before today but I knew when I walked in that I would love it. Olivia was very warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to. Madison did my facial and she was amazing. She did such a good job making me feel comfortable and my skin feels amazing! I can’t wait to come back!

The spa is filled with warmth and cozy energy and it is present as soon as you enter and stays with you even once you leave! I felt like I was home and taken care of with all the beautiful decor and intentional interior designs which supported relaxation for me so nicely and guided me to relax within the pod so easily. I felt fruitfull when enjoying the shower and self care products within the pod room and around the spa, and even enjoyed the beautiful herbal and delicious chocolate bar they offer for sale there! I visited this spa based off of an instagram post . I drove almost 2 hours and I am beyond satisfied with my experience, especially due to this being my very first massage and float session ever. The staff: the receptionist and Jordan were absolutely amazing . I actually fell asleep during my massage. It was a great experience and I will soon be booking a massage for my husband as well as either another massage or a facial for myself in the next couple of weeks. I cannot speak highly enough about Kahlia!! She has *revolutionized* my skin. She is so knowledgeable and has made the absolute best recommendations for my at home regimen. As I’m going through a job transition, I wanted to implement some self care. I had never had a facial before, but knew my skin could use some rejuvenation and love. I cannot rave enough about my facial session with Kahlia - she was professional, fun, and extremely knowledgeable. It was just what I needed and my face has never felt so happy! Had a great experience overall MiLinya has Magic hands As she touched me I felt the tension starting to work through my body. She Def focus on parts that you ask her to focus on but gives opinion for other things far as cupping etc... My girlfriend also did the float as well and said it was very relaxing and great experience....after my massage I had a shower then I did the floating in the room this was great distressing listening to the sonic waves and melodies feeling the Epsom salt loosening my body was so calm and peaceful... drifting off head elevated I fell asleep and let my body float when I woke up from the intercom I took another shower I walked out feeling like a new person... great customer service and vibes Definitely will be returning for more...

I cannot speak highly enough of the massage therapists at Vitality! My most recent session with Jordan was fantastic. She has such a way of tending to the body and spirit, alleviating physical symptoms and rejuvenating my energy. I have had sessions with almost everyone, and each person is unique, skilled, and extremely attentive to whatever my needs are in that moment. The estheticians are also extremely talented and offer such a special experience that goes beyond a facial!

I drive 1.5 hours to visit this spa. It’s always a relaxing and enjoyable experience. If you’ve never had a facial before, highly recommend seeing Kahlia. The astrodome facial is such a unique and refreshing treatment. My skin felt so rejuvenated and hydrated afterwards.

I cannot say enough about how much I love this place. I really felt like Joe listened to what I needed with my massage today, as well as last time. I’ve also had a great massage from Derek previously.I’ve had several appointments for the float tank, and I’ve always had good experiences with those appointments, too.I always feel like I’m on a relaxing vacation when I walk through the front door because of the calming atmosphere. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

I’ve never been to a float spa before this and I wasn’t 100% sure what to expect. The staff was very helpful and walked me through what to anticipate. The facility was clean, welcoming, and I appreciate that there were so many amenities I could rely on instead of having to bring a bunch of hair or skin care items with me. My only complaint was that I didn’t feel like the pod was dark enough - I was hoping for more of a sensory deprivation experience. Closing my eyes made it ok enough but I’d prefer if it was darker. I will definitely go back and try out the room instead of the pod next time to see how my experience compares. Vitality also offers a lot of other services that I may treat myself to in the future.

I saw Madison for a facial and it was a great experience. She focused on my concern and made sure to understand my skincare routine. She gave a recommendation on what I could do to address my skin issue and I’m excited to try it out! I can’t wait to for my next appointment!

Booked a 90 minute deep tissue massage, unfortunately my therapist wasn’t able to bring the desired amount of pressure. Even after asking for a firmer touch, the therapist responded that she’s apparently doesn’t have much deep tissue ability. While the therapist was very nice, at $160 per session, Vitality needs to highlight whether a certain therapist doesn’t perform certain specialties (l’d selected deep tissue work on my preference sheet).UPDATE: Kudos to Victoria from Vitality Float Spa for following up on my experience. She acknowledged my concerns and saw the value in updating therapist profiles to help clients make more informed choices...this is good business, thank you!

What a lovely experience! I did a 60min float pod + 60min massage with Joe and it was amazing. I can’t say enough great things about the experience, it’s not just a massage, everything from the way they take care of you, stretch, etc! Absolutely wonderful!

This place is great. Scheduled a float followed by a massage to recover from a backpacking trip. They did a really good job making the transition from float to massage seamless.The float room has a great vibe before you even enter the float tank. The temperature of the room and water are perfect for drifting into a deep relaxed state.My massage was with Taylor who did an excellent job. My legs were so tight from hiking when I arrived that walking was a little painful but when I left I felt well enough to walk around Carytown and enjoy the nice day.Will definitely visit again!

I love this place! A few months ago, I booked myself a float/massage package deal for a little treat yourself day. I was paired up with the lovely Jordan for my first massage ever. Since I had no idea what to expect, I just let Jordan do whatever she thought was best. The first massage was amazing especially after the float tank. I booked my second massage as soon as the first one was complete it was that good! This past weekend, I returned for my 2nd massage with Jordan and have already booked my next one. The spa is beautiful and peaceful. The amenities available in the bathroom/front area are very thoughtful. Scheduling is easy and the front desk staff is awesome too! Wholeheartedly recommend this spot!

I cant say enough good things about the massage I just got from Joe at Vitality Float Spa. When allergy season hits, I end up with a lot of body pain (from inflammation, I assume), and Joes flowing style with medium-firm pressure (from my interpretation, you may have a different pressure threshold) along with dynamic cupping (a first for me) gave me great pain relief. I was so relaxed, I can only describe it as being relaxed enough to be asleep, but conscious to enjoy how I felt. Joe has a calming presence, and I felt very safe. I scheduled a 90 min massage, but I will definitely be booking a 2 hr appointment next time. Side note, Ive also done the float therapy here, and its great. If youre tall, I definitely suggest booking the room rather than the pod.

I did the float pool and It was amazing. Within 5 minutes all my stressors were released and I was relaxing / floating. My facial with Madison was everything and more. Very soothing and healing. Will definitely be back for more while making reservations for other services as well.

I got a gift card for my birthday. We finally got to go last night. The aura was AMAZING. It was clean, it smelled good, the products were full. The bathroom was one from a magazine! Derek was so patient with my boyfriend and me. The orientation was easy to understand. Dereks voice delicately angelic. The rooms were clean and the ambience was very relaxing. The only reason I rated it a 4 is because the float pod had some ants in it. That is my only compliant. Derek accommodated us well and was very empathic about the ants. The products that they have available are all natural. The experience was very nice!!

I have lived with chronic pain since 2006. I have been to countless massage establishments/spas and have had both good & bad experiences.I have LOVED the atmosphere of Vitality Float & Spa and have been with a few massage therapists. But once I had a massage with Joe, I stuck with him.He is the BEST massage therapist I have ever worked with. He has an incredible skill with massage and overall movement and has helped me so much. Not only providing relief & relaxation. But providing me with recommendations for things I can try at home!He is also great at keeping communication open with what I like/don’t like/need. Not a lot of therapists create an environment to feel like you can openly express that.

WOW! From start to finish I had a fantastic experience. The mural outside is gorgeous and the inside feels like a jungle oasis. I started with a 60 minute float. They give you everything you will need from ear plugs, to towels, shampoo, conditioner etc. The float was relaxing and facilities very clean. My massage was next with Val. She did a great job and it was definitely one of the best massages Ive ever had. I loved how all these extras Im accustomed to paying for like cupping, hot stones, CBD oil, hot eye mask, were all included as part of the massage. I will be booking for a longer massage next time as 60 min just wasnt enough!

Vitality Float Spa has been my saving grace. My body has been through so many massage therapists and I have found my forever home with them. My massage therapist Emma is amazing. She made me feel like I was 35. Lol. I had to schedule another massage Jon and he was absolutely amazing as well. I have found my forever home with Vitality Float Spa.

This was my first experience floating but it definitely will not be my last. It was so relaxing, peaceful, and stress relieving. I had a really nice experience with an hour float at Vitality Spa. I was pleasantly surprised at how relaxed I got and fell asleep. I could hardly feel my legs or arms. I even removed the neck device at the end and let my head float. I would highly recommend.

Vitality is an amazing place for all things mind + body wellness! I’ve done both the float pod and the float room a couple times each. During your session, you have the option to float with relaxing lighting and/or music (these settings can be changed throughout your session). Last time, the music was an instrumental version of The Dark Side of The Moon - so enlightening. Immediately after, I felt renewed and slept so well that evening. I do agree with the other reviewer who commented on the noise from other rooms, which can be startling and disruptive if you opt for a quiet session without music. On another note, I wish the water in the showers were a bit warmer as it can be a little cold getting out of the pod/tank.

The place itself was lovely. Friendly, clean, professional - all of that was on point. It turns out I just do not like sensory deprivation tanks. My husband loved it and it was a gift to him so at least that part worked out. I would 100% recommend Vitality Float Spa if youre curious about float tanks. They really were lovely to deal with and as I write this Im editing my star review because its not their fault that I didnt enjoy their service - they do a terrific job providing it and it just didnt happen to be something I enjoy.In case youre wondering why I didnt enjoy it... Im VERY sensitive to water in my ears and didnt anticipate that the angle at which a body floats in saline water allows for full water ear. I think earplugs were an option and maybe that would have made my experience different except for my heart. My heartbeat ultimately ruined it for me. I could hear nothing but my own pulse in my ears and it was maddening. Maybe I should do it again and meditate through that? Anyway. If youre on the fence, give it a go! Im glad I did despite not having the out of body, metaphysically important, meditatively cleansing experience I had hoped for.

The experience is so great. Once you become one with the water. It’s so relaxing. The floating is calming. The sounds are very therapeutic.

Had a poor experience here today. Signed up for a 90 minute float to start at 9:30am. Popped in the pod and I could hear music, other noises, and the hum of something. I enjoy sensory deprivation tanks because they deprive me of my senses. I like to lay with my eyes open in complete darkness and silence. I realize various folks do it for various reasons, but I like this unique meditative state I can get into. I got out of the pod and realized there was a heater. I turned it off. I still heard noise. Again, I got out, found a noise machine behind the heater. Still heard noise and now music from another room. I put on a robe and went to mention it to someone. I did catch her name, but she truly tried to help. We found a wall fan and went upstairs to find out about music coming from a massage room. She said she would add time to my session, too (since no one was signed up after me). When I got back in, I could still hear the music. Then the pod started making a low humming noise. This lasted about 40 minutes. By the time it subsided, the music upstairs had stopped. But by all this time, the session ended 20-25 minutes later. Curious about how much time was added, I looked at the clock, 11:10. Only ten minutes added when it was known that I had issues for at least 30 minutes.This is not a good place to go if you’re wanting a relaxing and silent session. It is not the fault of the employees for how the owner has this place set up/policies. I appreciate their efforts to attempt to make it a good experience.

This was my second visit here after receiving a 30-minute massage with fiancé back in December of 2021. Today, I received the Marshmallow Root Facial and an hour massage. The massage therapist was very thorough with her work, and seemed passionate about what she does making sure to target all areas where I needed the most attention. Cupping was also thrown in with no additional charge. The young lady that did my facial was also amazing. My skin has never looked so plump, smooth, and very hydrating in such a long time! I will definitely be going back.I would also like to add, after reading some of the lowest reviews it seems like noise is the number one issue at this facility. Yes, I could hear the staff walking up and down the steps. My best recommendation is to book first thing in the morning when they open to enjoy a super quiet and enjoyable experience.

Ive been a fan of massages for a long time but Vitality goes above and beyond! The front desk is so welcoming everytime I go in and the atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful. Ive have killer back pain (due to pregnancy). I heard about Vitality and decided to try out a 60min float. There website explains it all so I felt pretty prepared when I went in for my appointment. It was all around a great experience. It smelled nice, the music was relaxing, the gentleman that worked there was informative and friendly. It did take me about 20 minutes to get use to floating but once I did I felt myself dozing off. I will definitely book another appointment with them.

I had a massage with Summer today and my first float therapy session. It was also my first time at the new location. I love the ambiance of the new spa. It was very relaxing and comfortable as soon as I walked in. Summer did an awesome job with my massage and I loved the experience of a cupping massage. The float was a great experience. I didnt really know what to expect and Summer was thorough in explaining the process. It took me a few minutes to relax but once I did it was amazing. Hi everyone,Approximately three and half months ago I received a Vitality Spa gift card from my husband as birthday gift in amount of 300$. After few weeks later, I was so excited to book an appointment; therefore, I called them and made an appointment on Monday, February 20, 23 for:1. 1 Hr. Customized Massageat 8:00 AM2. 60 Minute Float Sessionat 9:00 AM3. 60-Minute Organic Facialat 10:30 AM.However, unfortunately I got sick and it was COVID-19. I even could not able to go work but Vitality charged me for not showing up that day 199$. I couldnt believe that I first called and later sent an email to Victoria Froberg,Spa Manager; she did help me at all. Even though, I try to explain that I was sick obviously she did not care at all. Vitality stole my money from my gift card. I called Office of the Attorney General of Virginia under the Consumer Protection Act, and told them what happened to me, they sent to Vitality Spa two legal letters about the issue. However, neither they respond them nor call me. They took my money! I want my money back Vitality Spa!You did not give me any option so I am writing here maybe you respond to this comment!!!You can not treat people like that and take their money. It’s a very calming environment! When you arrive, they also have special iced teas on tap, delish. I have gone to Katie Allison for my massages and she is the best! She personalizes your massage and sits down with you to discuss areas you want to focus on. She lets you choose your aromatherapy which is also a fun touch! I appreciate that she communicated if I wanted more or less pressure when beginning the massage. I asked for a deep massage and she delivered! I did a 60min float in the room (not the enclosed chamber). Staff member at the front desk was very kind. The actual float was decent however there was some type of loud cracking/popping like a pressure build-up every 5-10min (hard to tell how often). Without that noise it would be a 10/10 experience.

When you first walk in, the space is beautiful and inviting. Cheyenne is literally the best! She is so in-tune with your body and what it might need that day and I feel calm, clear and relaxed after every session.

This was my first trip to Vitality Spa. I usually go to another spa to use the infrared sauna, but it was booked, so I decided to give vitality a try! I loved the decor and ambiance as soon as I walked in, and the associate working was super friendly. Unfortunately, I felt that I didn’t sweat much at all in the sauna, and left feeling a bit disappointed and less rejuvenated than I usually feel afterwards. Everything else about the visit was great- I will still be back to give one of their floats a try :)

Although I booked two weeks in advance, received an emailed confirmation and re-confirmed when prompted via text message the day before, I was told that my appointment was double-booked when I arrived in person. Subsequently, I was turned away. Given that I travelled from out of town for a relaxing birthday weekend, I was sincerely disappointed. Although there was somewhat of an apology, it definitely didnt feel genuine as the desk attendent walked away while I waited inside for my Uber. So, obviously, the money spent taking the Uber there was wasted.

Did a float and massage package (2 hours total). The float was incredibly relaxing and the massage was probably the best I’ve ever had. I’ll be back for a 90 min massage next time.

I havent tried an isolation float, but the massages here will make you feel lighter than air. Jordan is a celestial being and her touch brings instant relief. Vitality is my go-to for massages in Richmond.

I love this float therapy and Vitality Float Spa! It was my first time trying this and the whole experience was so fantastic! This facility is beautiful, smells awesome, the light and music in the pod is nice, I was afraid Id feel closed in, get cold, prune fingers, bored, shocked; all kinds of fears: totally for nothing as the pod was warm, roomy, and just great! the 60 minutes felt like 15, I could have stayed there all day! I felt so great afterwards I walked the 40 minutes home instead of taking the bus. A great place to try float therapy for the first time!

Front staff was very nice and the pod rooms are very clean. I really liked that I had the option of changing the lighting and music. My only complaint is that the rooms are a little stuffy inside. But all in all, it was a great experience.

From the time I entered the spa, to the time I left... I had a great experience! I was there not too long ago to participate in what they call a community float. Basically, its $45 for a 60 minute float Tues-Thurs from 9 AM to 3 PM. Despite what it sounds like, its a solo float. I think the girl who was helping me was Stephanie. It was my first float so I had a ton of questions and she was helpful with each and every one of them. She provided some helpful advice and definitely made me feel right at home. Thanks for the experience and Ill be visiting you guys again soon!

This place is the absolute dankest!!! The staff is amazing- super friendly and knowledgeable for first-timers. The decor is beautiful and extremely inviting. The option to float in the pod or the room is also a plus! I’ve done one 60-min float in the pod and two 90-min in the room. I found the 90 minute to be a little too long but still a great experience. My recommendation is to not have any caffeinated drinks before floating (made that mistake once). They also offer great discounts for artists/musicians on tues and Wednesday. Highly recommended and will be floating every chance I get!

This place is BEAUTIFUL and beyond accommodating. I did a one hour float followed by a one hour massage. The room with the float pod has a shower, towels, robe and slippers, and toiletries. The float itself was phenomenal and any pain I was dealing with from psoriatic arthritis is still completely gone twelve hours later. The massage was relaxing and thoughtful and my massage therapist left me with suggestions on improving problem areas. Theres also a bathroom with a hair dryer and various other toiletries like deodorant and hair ties for when youre ready to leave. The people behind this business did not miss a beat and I will gladly recommend it to anyone suffering from stress, anxiety, or chronic pain.

I did a float and a 90 minute massage on the same day for some very specific and bad pain. I’m sure I’m going to butcher the spelling of her name. However, by the time Antonina was done, I was pain free, which by the way, the relief lasted two and a half weeks. The best I have felt in a long time. Highly recommend the float experience BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, Antonina. ☺️

My first float experience was wonderful. I chose a 90 minute float too give myself time to really relax. When I walked in the door I was greeted by lovely humidity, quiet, and essential oils in the air. Kenzie showed me around the spa and made some chamomile tea. I changed into my robe and sipped three cups in the infrared sauna before starting my float session. I showered of before entering and loved the smells of all the bath products. Kenzie gave me some great advice about having an enjoyable float and showed me how to adjust the room and pod settings. Even after hearing about great float experiences from my friends, I was surprised at my experience. My body relaxed further than I ever remember. After what I guess was about half an hour, I lost all perception of the lower half of my body. Im not sure if I feel asleep. Only when I got out and showered again did I realize how relaxed my body had become. I felt like I spent all day in yin yoga, got a massage, and took a muscle relaxant. So soft and like jelly. I will definitely go back!

Unfortunately, this is a not a reliable option for a spa service. I booked an appointment for a facial and was so excited to have the opportunity to treat myself. Two hours before the appointment, I received a call from the spa saying that they had to cancel it because the service provider was stuck in traffic. I found this to be highly disappointing and unprofessional. If you value actually being able to have the service that you booked performed, I would choose another spa.

I had an amazing Reiki experience. Katie was awesome. It was a beautiful salon and the staff was so kind. The woman at the front desk was so knowledgeable and energetic and helped me choose the right massage. Highly recommended!
