God forbid you go to this spot. The service is terrible, and the security are the most disrespectful people who look like they hate their job. Also, do not have any problems with pixel staff, or they will get mad and ban you from this location too. Pixels banned me for standing up for myself when a server was disrespectful and wasn’t going to serve me after I didn’t tip her, (optional) and banned me. Avoid both places, it’s the same owner; same problems with staff they will treat you same in both spots. Both pixels and AV are the same. Avoid them at all cost if you want staff to treat you right there are other spots in downtown riverside and other locations aswell

DO NOT COME HERE TW: SAA few years ago I was SA in a bathroom by a man sneaking into the women’s restroom. Tonight one of the security guards who was male, proceeded to enter the women’s restroom. If he needed to authorize authority in the women’s restroom he should have called a female security guard to enter. I told him that him entering made me feel uncomfortable and he berated me. When I told him I was going to cry he said “cry about it” with an extremely cold inflection and tone. When I went to tell another security guard (female) about the situation the security guard who had entered the bathroom interjected and told her I was crazy. She then immediately instructed me to leave without trying to hear my side of the story. This club does not respect women and their employees have obvious biases towards the co-workers. Do not come here, it is not welcoming, inviting or inclusive.

First off if I could rate negative I would this place is straight TRASH, they are super racist they check for that at the door, also they SCAM you here I just walked in ordered my first drink of the night and paid the bartender cash so I waited a few minutes and asked where my drink was and the drunk bar tender claims she made and gave me the drink I (I could tell she was completely wasted) was in complete shock and addressed that she never served me mind you I’m completely sober. So she makes me a drink finally and so I walk away not thinking anything of it and 3 minutes later the red head fat security guard walks up to me and tells me “you have to go man” I asked why and he didn’t give me an answer but to leave so I asked if I could speak to a manager because I just paid to get in and paid for my first drink & this guy says “no, you’re taking too long” and proceeds to put me in a choke hold the minute I turn around to put my drink down on the table so I could walk out because it was clear I was getting kicked out for the bartender being completely careless of her job. He is a complete coward for doing something like that when someone’s back is facing you first of all, and second why is your security putting hands on someone who is clearly having a civil conversation and isn’t causing problems? It was a 20 second conversation so saying “you’re taking too long” and assaulting someone is CRAZY. Please DO NOT COME HERE THEY ARE RACIST AND THEY SCAM YOU!! Look at the other reviews and it’ll give you an idea of what kind of business is being ran here it’s being ran straight to the ground!

Wouldnt let me in with my international ID. You dont need to look too close to notice Im way over 21 lol so dont tell me its rules. I honestly think its racism at its finest because if it was rules, they would be in place everywhere and this is the only place that has ever done this and not let me in. So its clear to me that theyre not checking for your age here, theyre checking for your race. Its very sad to see this nowadays! I felt completely shamed. Will never be back here and if youre supporting their racist ways then so be it. Personal choices.

I am a long time patron of this establishment and a long time member of the Thursday night goth crowd that meets every week here. I had not been in over a year and now I know why. Upon entering, my party and I were patted down/had IDs checked. We were informed that a legal in CA marijuana vape pod was not allowed on the premises, which we complied with. After what was a mostly enjoyable night of spending money at the bar, when it came time to go home, the outside staff could not or refused to return the vape pod that was confiscated at the beginning of the night. Upon asking why we could not have our property back, an aggressive Male employee was brought out to chase us away from the establishment. not 420 friendly and will keep your vape if you happen to bring it.

Terrible service. We were so excited to attend goth night and the security staff was so incredibly rude. Check your security camera footage; we drank water cause it’s been 110 up the hill all day and we JUST got off work. And an orange juice/capris sun. Absolutely not impressed. I’m devastated we couldn’t of just had fun, much better bars with friendlier staff in the area I promise.

I was very transparent about having a Stizy pod(cannabis cartridge) when entering Club Dominion. I was told, I will just stash your pod. I entered not fully understanding what that meant. I spent the rest of the night spending well over $100 dollars at the bar. Upon leaving, I asked about the pod and was harassed and hurried off the premises. A blonde lady at the front said, I gave them options and she absolutely didnt. Had I known it would have been stashed or literally thrown into the street I would have never entered with it or not came in to begin with. AGAIN, she gave me no options just threw the cart. We were met with hostility when we were only questioning the wear abouts of the pod. Any goth night is better than this one, even though I have been here many times. Things have changed.

Great club. DJs are really good. Its two-story with 2 DJs. Also, staff and bartenders are very nice and friendly.

Love the decor, Love the goth Thursday nights with no cover fee (surprisingly gets super packed), Plus 4 dollar drafts *chefs kiss* Also, Love the fact that they bring in vendors to sell goth items.However, the sound system seems really off sometimes. Maybe I’m getting old and I value that sort of thing esp when I wanna hear & dance to my fav darkwave jams. That’s just me tho.

Do not support this club.My friend came to the establishment tonight hoping to have a good time and they denied her entry. Why? Because she had her PRESCRIBED medication with her. I understand wanting to keep drugs out of the club, but this is literally her life-saving medication. She asked them to look up the pills online to confirm and they refused. She wasnt even allowed to put the medication in her car and come back in without it!!! She was told that she had to throw away her life-saving medication AT the club or she wouldnt be allowed in.As someone who is also medication-dependent to say ALIVE, this is ableism at its finest. Refusing entry to someone that has a disability because they had their medication with them is RIDICULOUS and DISGUSTING. Can you imagine turning someone away because they brought their insulin pen or epipen? No? Because its the same exact thing.It was two girls - both Caucasian. One with reddish hair, and one with straight, black hair. Unacceptable.

The gave my friend a drink that tasted like rotten juice and we asked for a new one they refused mind you they only took a sip it was still a full drink. Female at the entrance that you pay tried SA my boyfriend when we walked out she tried grabbing him and he had to push her off since we walked in she was saying some very off things to him. The vibes were okay here I just didn’t feel comfortable we didn’t say anything to security because They are no help at all. You get kicked out for literally anything. Check your lady with the tats charging at the door very unprofessional.

Despite the mixed reviews, I really enjoyed this place. If you like goth night it is impecable. I went there on the weekends too. It has 2 floors but the weekends have a cover charge. The place honestly shines the best durring goth night. Which is why it takes the best spot for me to drink. Also the staff one time stopped a guy from fighting with me. I suprisingly didnt get kicked out because I wasnt at fault. What a maricle a place that doesn’t wrongly kick you out.

This is my first time giving a review...this place deserves it!!! Four married ladies just trying to have a nice night out. This place was our first choice. We decided to go to the downstairs level. Ordered a few drinks with patient and friendly bartender. Found nice free (non-vip) lounge seating area next to the DJ, bar and restrooms. 👌🏻 Great mix of music. Pleasant atmosphere (with a few isolated situations) and the security guards did great by quickly addressing the situations. We felt very safe! Place was clean, not overcrowded and very professional staff. Definitely a place to visit again! 🤗 Thank you for making our night out such an excellent experience!

Dude at the door made me hand over my cannabis cart (the other option was to trash it) and let someone steal it. Wouldnt let me take it to my car or anything. What kind of dumb policy is that? Its not that serious, just let people return items to their car. Or post the rules where people can see so they can decide if its worth it to go. Stick with Worthingtons, yall. The vibes are so much better.

The works and especially the security in the front was very rude to my group. I know they must deal with a lot of drunk people but to treat everyone like that is unfair. Did not like how I was treated.

The security is really aggressive and biased/racist toward people; my friend literally got assaulted by the short blonde girl on top of it she threw a drink at her, I already knew about this clubs reputation of awful staff but now that we experienced it first hand we are never coming back and we will tell everyone not to ever come back to this god forsaken place

I think this is the place more for age 19 to 25 on a Saturday night. Very nice place techno music the more upbeat lot of dancing. So if you like to dance and youre younger and live in Riverside this is the place you want to go to downtown Riverside. Bartenders are very friendly they make excellent drinks. And theyre extremely fast not a lot of waiting around for your drink. Very spacious different areas sitting relaxed. Now Im much older than 25 happy hour. The drinks are cheaper and its more of my age group. And I can play pool. And they have excellent food . I also met a lot of friendly customer and thats something that I like especially if you go by yourself. Im not sure what they have on other nights but the next time I go back Ill check it out and see and Ill let you know.

I tried going to this night club with my friends to celebrate a birthday, and they wouldn’t allow me in because they thought I was drunk? Which was not the case, I was wearing heels so I might of stumbled a bit because of it since I’m not use to heels, but I wasn’t drunk. It’s like almost every time now that I try to go to this club they always have a problem letting me or my friends in. This use to be a great club that I would always go to and tell all my friends about, but not anymore. I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

Went Saturday night. music could honestly been better. dj went one from style music to the next. downstairs dj was not the best.security outside were nice the girl security super friendly her alone get 5 stars. unfortunately cant say the same for the upstairs female bartender. seemed she was in the worst mood ever. cant even say excuse me. someone working in the VIP area shouldnt be that uptight. male blonde walking around cleaning could have been nicer asked for a straw which he was literally next too and all he did was say he was a bartender obviously he wasnt didnt hurt to hand a straw though. i get that the area has more college kids but too many ppl too drunk management should have more control and know when ppl need to be put out. would really hesitate in even thinking of going again.

Last night was my first time at a club.... I was surprised with the pool tables that was a major plus. I asked for a jack and coke with light ice and it was overfilled with ice..i tasted more ice then my drink it was cool how there were two2 floors but 2 djs playing the samething And then finally music was getting really dancy then its goes to something boring

Had an awesome time Thursday night for Goth night !! No cover and the drinks are great price and good with a friendly staff . The music was perfect The Cure , Nina Hagen , Sisters of Mercy and so much fun we will be back!!

We Went to the club last night around 1:30, right after we paid for the drinks staff turn the lights on and asked us to move up stair. When we come up they kinda rush us to leave and throw my drink after. I used a restroom? All my friends just got outside and cannot finish that: I write the comment not because your place is not good, we used to come here a lot loved all decoration every thing look nice but after last night we wont be back again.* they took our money and threw us out*

If i could rate a 0 I would. I went to this place for the first time last night and i had such a terrible experience. I instantly was refunded my entrance fee and not allowed to get in because my friend was wearing a plain black hat and they didnt let him in with it upon walking in there was many ppl wearing black hats. We went to go get his hat and they had thrown it out on the street and never told us about the $3 check cover charge. Would never be returning to this place security takes there job as if they were the law so ridiculous

This “establishment “ Is a complete joke . They called my friend telling me to pick my phone up that was turned into lost and found . I arrive here after weeks of trying to make contact . They are only open three nights a week. They say they don’t have my phone after this business stated they had my belongings and to come pick them up. COMPLETE SCAMMERS ! THEY ROB PEOPLE .AND THE THE MANAGER WHO WAS FEMALE SAID THAT BASICALLY THEY GOT RID OF IT ? Horrible place never going back . That why you have bad reviews and your place continues to go down hill . I went on a Friday. Cover charge was fine except the club was empty. They make you spit out your gum in your mouth and throw away any packs you have in your bag or pockets. They have these old couches that are reserved but always empty because this is riverside and not L.A. or Vegas. Who would pay for bottle service in downtown riverside? No one!... They charge for water and soda which is not usual. Most places give you free non alcoholic drinks if you are the dd. This place gives you a cup of ice and directs you to a water fountain. Its ghetto that they even have a water fountain. The bathrooms are not nice or upscale by any means. They are run down. My biggest problem with the place is the rude staff. This place is best for the 19 to 22 year old crowd. 24 and up there are better places out there.

I was there a week ago and upon entering the security lady told me to throw away my gum that i was already chewing???? Then when leaving they checked me and my group AGAIN like we were stealing something... Like are you serious??

Wednesday nights is a great time for salsa y bachata. Instructor actually is fund and good, DJ invincible was connecting with the dancers each song, drinks were half off and dance floor was spacious. Overall great experience. Can’t wait to go back on Wednesday. Aurea Vista keep up the great work.

Refused entry because I have a Matrícula Consular ID, security denied me because she said I cannot accept IDs from outside the country, passport strictly only.Uneducated or outdated?Discrimination or ignorance?

We got bottle service last night service was absolutely subpar, even by DTR standards. Ordered a Black label and coke as well, but to this moment I still don’t know what it was. I saw them pour the black label but whatever they mixed it with tasted to be like 70% Sprite 30% Coke is the best I can describe it. They used the little handheld nozzle so I’m not sure what they poured. Once 130am came around they flipped the lights and it would seem as if they were trying to get rid of homeless squatters. I wouldn’t dare go back. I think you can have a better time at Chili’s rather than here.

I don’t feel they are even deserving of a star at all! The security there are rude and make you not even want to enter the establishment. they discriminate against People that are of color and LGBTQ+ Community. It’s 2021 and people are still like this ? it’s disgusting!

Best night spot in Riverside. Doesnt feel like a typical night club, more like a really large bar with great DJs. Top floor will usually have most current music. Basement where it cracks tho.

Our first time yesterday 2/23/19 for hubbys birthday was awesome, fun, clean good atmosphere and great service great songs we will be going back!!! Thanks for a great time hubby was happy and he enjoyed himself.

First time and last time at this establishment. Staff unprofessional asked to speak to a manager and no one wanted to step up and speak to me regarding an incident asked for supervision or even the owners name oh we cant give that information out really?!? if your not doing anything wrong then you shouldnt be hiding behind I dont knows. This place will never see my money or business again way to many other places in downtown Riverside than to bother with this place. I have emailed the club and left yelp reviews awaiting a call back to see how management will handle employees non sense.

Djs and bartenders are fine, staff and security are terrible and are dedicated to giving you the most uncomfortable experience of all time. used to like it but will never come back!

This place has some of the better music in Downtown Riverside, but the fact that they charge a cover is obnoxious. Ive yet to be in there and see it packed, but they purposefully create a line outside to justify the cover. Theyre obviously getting money from the bar theres really no reason to charge a cover.

New bar in DT Riverside. Its very nice. Neat area to chitchat, pool table. They have a basement to chill tol but the night I went (Moving Units played) it was closed. What a bust. The large long bar with the mirror is a nice touch. They habe a little stage for performers. Awesome. Even a concessions looking stand for tapas I assume. Fantastic beer & well prices the night I went. Phenominal sound system. I just felt the owner couldnt distinguish itself from a club or a bar... venue? It has potential. Ill be back!

Really cool decor, and decent drinks. My favorite aspect is the downstairs, which caters to a more Rock/Punk type crowd (which has been sorely needed in Riverside). Heres to hoping the Aurea Vista stays around for a while!

This place has discriminated against on all 3 times I visited because Im Transgender, the staff is very rude and the security has made me uncomfortable by saying some impolite remark towards me based off my identity on all 3 occasions, this is by far the worst bar Ive ever been to in downtown Riverside. Id avoid this place if youre part of the lgbtq+ community.

This run down excuse of a club needs to realize its not located in S.D. or L.A They create a fake line out front to justify trying to actually charge a cover to walk into this dump! Couldnt get in because my driver license from Florida had a hole punched from the DMV here, after getting my Cali license the day before. They said my paper permit wouldnt help. Im 30, and obviously not underage. 😠

I love to dance but this place is way to hot, little to no ac in there. Staff definitely plays favorites, hope you know someone working there in order to get good service.

No ac inside, coke is $3, I dont know how much the alcohol is. There is no dress code, no entrance fee, and theres 2 floors. The lower floor ground was sticky, but both floors do have bathrooms.
