Where do I begin? I have been at the Mayo Clinic, not from the area, and decided to take my daughter to get our nails done. We walked in without an appointment, and were very nicely greeted, and told there would be a 30 minute wait. We only waited about 15 minutes!!JESSICA was amazing. She did a full set for both myself and my daughter. I could not have asked for better! She did amazing work. Nails never looked better. Conversation was great. She was so kind and sweet. Hugged her when we left and going back for a pedicure later this week. She was just fabulous and I wish she could come back home with us!!!

My husband and I went here for simple pedicures. They spent a total of 15 minutes from start to finish. Basically unless you upgrade to a 45 or 60$ pedicure with some scent in your scrub, they don’t bother to treat you well. They tried to push gel, color, and upgrades from the moment we walked in. Will not waste our money here ever again.

I have been seeing Sara here for the last half a year or so. I had been having a hard time finding the perfect manicurist to do my dip nail manicures. Sara does a great job - my nails typically last 3-4 weeks. She is a perfectionist so she always tries out my color combos for me to see them.The only things I would wish for to make my experience better are a more organized salon (sometimes things seem a bit disorganized or cluttered) and for Sara to learn how to apply the dip glitter powder with the tapping of a fluffy brush to give a cool design. My salon up in the Twin Cities (where I am from) does an amazing job at applying the dip powder in that way but I haven’t been able to find a salon in Rochester that does this.

The nail polish looks nice that I had done but unfortunately the actual manicure and pedicure part of the services was lacking. It felt as though I was being rushed through and my skin, cuticles and soles of my feet were not cleaned up. The salon itself was in need of a good cleaning as well. I do not plan to return.

I went to this mail shop and had gotten a full set, pedicure, plus my eyebrows. The pedicure was great. Yet my nails are all misshaped, crooked, and poorly done. She was really aggressive doing my nails. She had asked if I wanted my eyebrows cleaned up. I said yes, which was a total mistake. She took off my eyebrows and put way too much space between them. I would not recommend this place AT ALL

Customer for several months before switching over due to unprofessional service, quality is awful (always get gel, and would have some start chipping same day or shortly after) never lasted the full “2-3” weeks. The time that really pushed me to never come back was when I came in (and called ahead) to simply get my nails removed- I was seated and told to move to 4 different people. I mean I literally had each person take off 2 nails each. Weird, and unprofessional. For anyone looking for great service - look at Rain at sola salon.

I went to this salon for a manicure (south location). The nail stylist cut 3 of my fingers with the nail file. This made one of my fingers bleed which she did not feel concerned about and proceeded to dip that finger into the gel powder that she was using. Overall this salon is not clean. Most of the stylists either had on no mask or had them halfway covering their face. My stylist did not wear gloves and a customer actually took my place once my nails were done. The stylist didnt sanitize her hands or the table that I was using prior to the next customer. I would advise caution when picking this salon to get your nails done.

I didnt like the experience. It was my daughters birthday and I wanted her to pick out her own colors. But they were rushing her so basically they picked it out for her. The lady that was working on my nails was also answering phone calls and making appointments as she was working on my acrylic nails. I wasnt happy with my nails because a couple of them was crooked. North tip and toes are better.

Felt very rushed through my pedicure, but the lady was very pleasant. I also paid with a gift card, which they charged me a dollar to use!?!? So a $70 pedicure took $71 off my $75 gift card, leaving $4 which will cost me another $1 to use the remaining balance!!! So dont buy gift cards there!

I was a first time customer, and also I’m not someone who’s ever been big on nails. New to MN, I’d been to a nail salon here somewhere else. I think it was at Apache Mall. However, I wasn’t very satisfied and I didn’t leave feeling like I got my money’s worth. I also didn’t enter with high expectations either. So I had nothing bad to say. Just didn’t love it. Regular pedi, in and out. Just like that. I came here the other day on a rather tough day for me emotionally, and for the first time ever, a nail salon actually exceeded my expectations. I’m actually considering returning on a regular basis just because the service there and the atmosphere was so awesome. It wasn’t super loud, they offered complimentary beverages, and I highly recommend the deluxe organic pedi package. The entire treatment was so worth it and relaxing. The lady who serviced me didn’t have very good English but what she did have was a great smile and obviously to me, a care about her client. When she really couldn’t understand my requests, she politely asked other staff to assist in translating for us. They did it happily. Everyone there only smiles every time they walked past. It meant to world to someone like me who was just trying to get through my mother’s first birthday as an angel. Just as I had almost became discouraged/dissatisfied with my mani and the color choices, Bella nearby noticed the miscommunication and politely intervened and took over for me. The original lady was nice as she walked away and Bella got me right! I will definitely be back at some point and I will never go to a different nail salon ever again! I highly recommend this place because I believe they truly care!! PS: Don’t forget how important it is to be polite to them as well. Some people will go and make a bad review while already being guilty of walking in or continuing with a bad attitude or lack of manners. We’re never too old to show respect to other adults!! If I could rate them zero stars I would! Continuous up selling from the moment I arrived. I asked for their regular pedicure and am certain I received the express. Total time spent on my toes was less than 15 minutes. They trimmed my toenails, slapped some lotion on and gave a brief leg massage. My toes were painted with 2 coats of color, leaving a large gap in between my cuticles. Lastly, a very spotty, gloppy, streaky topcoat was applied. I will never return, there many other places to choose from that provide far better service.

I had an awful time here. I went for a simple mani and this lady (I don’t know her name but I think she was older) kept telling me I should do gel and asking why I didn’t wanna do gel. Then, she proceeds to sit me down and keep telling me to do gel after I already picked the regular color I wanted. I kept politely declining but she was definitely judging me for not getting gel. She then proceeded to take out an obviously used and uncleaned file, tap it on the table to get other peoples’ nail particles off, and she then used it on my nails (all the while she was barely looking at what she was doing on my nails because she was looking at a group of other girls that came in and wanted more expensive services). NEXT SHE USED THE METAL ACRYLIC MOTORIZED GRINDER FILE ON MY CUTICLES AND CUT THREE OF MY FINGERS. OUCH. She didn’t even use the nipper to get the dead skin off thoroughly so at the end my nails looked like I could’ve just done it myself. I thought the worst was over, but the lady “massaged” my hands (and by “massaged” I mean she put lotion on my arms and hands in like 20 seconds. Not very relaxing). Finally she shlopped the polish on way too thick and it took forever to dry. All of this was done in 10 minutes and I paid $20 for it. Needless to say I was angry.

I went in for an Express 20 dollar pedicure and ended up paying 30. They said I needed to say that I was going to do Express when I scheduled it as Express. The lady doing my nails kept trying to upcharge me as well. They asked if I wanted gel, wanted to upgrade my pedicure, again if I wanted gel, and if I wanted to do a powder polish. They were also very distracted with phone calls and other customers. Not impressed with the service.

Spent Saturday afternoon (3/30) at tips and toes with a family friend. I asked for a gel manicure and the lady kept pushing for me to get the dip gel manicure insisting that “it lasts longer than the regular gel nails, they last a month with the dip!” So after going back and forth for a few minutes, I finally agreed to the dip gel manicure. Two days after my manicure, my nails chipped. So much for them lasting a month...won’t be going back there for services.

Got my nails(gel) done last Tuesday, had to go back Friday to get a couple nails fixed, to only have more chipping by Sunday. And today down to only five nails partial okay. Very disappointing. Thought I would try a place on my side of town, but definitely sticking with my other nail place, which always last a month or more, but get fixed due to growing out.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I came in for a single wax. They started scrunching up their faces and speaking in Chinese so I wouldnt understand. But I picked up on a lot of their words over the years of getting my nails done. I heard them say only a wax? And the lady who was about to wax me responded she cant afford it. I immediately grabbed my wallet, and told her no thank you. She tried to stop me but I only would respond no thank you. I will NEVER return to this location, I am truly disgusted with the nerve of some of these nail technician. If I can give this place NO stars I would.

Went in for a dipped nail removal. Nobody even greeted me at the door. The lady who removed my nails never even soaked them. She pried them off of my nails she ended up breaking one of my nails down to the meat. And it bled she made no acknowledgment of the bleeding. I will never go back. Horrible service.

Disgusting, the pedicure and manicure were done so quickly without nial polish that I could barely notice the difference. The waxing of my leg had to be stopped because the lady was so inexperienced and agitated they she left me with a big bruise. I did that for 26 years here but never there and would not go back ever.

I typically dont go here but i was in a hurry one day so i just decided to stop in and see if they were any good since i have heard good things... well, they were not good for me. i got my nails done less than a week ago and a couple have already lifted off and broke. i was not pleased with the guy not listening to me when i said i wanted something done differently and he told me no. these are my nails and i am the one that has to look at them all day everday. needless to say i will not be going back. i will continue going to polished. thats the place to go.

Great brow waxing. Good nail work however extremely pushy technicians and if you dont choose the service that they try and get you to take as far as nails go, then they become rude. Very unprofessional and I will not be returning. Went 4 times hoping each time they would not be so pushy and no change. Management needs to train employees in customer service.

Instead of letting me dry my pedicure under the dryer, they removed the foam dividers and sprayed my toes with a Neurtrogen bottle labeled quick dry. The polish smeared and got on my toes. I called to have them fixed and they do not return my call/message.

Very disappointed! Went in for a pedi. 20 min later done! Really? $46 for 20 min? Special was a luxury hot stone for $50 was never told about so instead they charged us $46 for a regular pedi! Toe nails cut to short! And very little understandable English! What a waste of money!!

I had a terrible experience at this place. The person who did my nails was nice enough. I had never had a manicure so that part was alright, but then she did my eyebrows. My eyebrows look terrible. I wwill never visit this place again for services.

I love Tips n Toes! Sarah always does such a great job with my dip powder nails and pedicures! I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Adore this salon! Great selection of colors and services. Always the best customer service. Jessica is amazing and truly cares about giving quality manis/pedis.

First time and I had a relaxing time.
