Mrs. Katrina was phenomenal! This was the best deep tissue massage of my life!. Mrs. Katrina was very thorough and told me the products she was using without my asking. She was very detailed and even gave me stretching techniques. The music was also very relaxing. The skills that Mrs. Katrina had were evident and clear and she worked through some of the most tense areas of my body helping to relax them. She made me feel comfortable and it was refreshing that I paid for a service and she delivered fully. Mrs. Katrinas hands were truly therapeutic and far beyond what I expected. Mrs. Katrina deserves heavy recognition for a job very well done. I felt much better after my massage, thanks to Mrs. Katrina.

This review is so overdue and Ive been meaning to write it for years (Ive been going to Empire Therapeutic for about 4 years now). Katrina is so kind and you can tell that she truly cares about her customers and their experience. The space is clean, calming, and relaxing and Katrina gives the best massages Ive ever received. I almost cried the first time I went because the massage relieved so much tension in my back. I wish I could go every month!

Katrina was very professional, courteous, and complete. The room was clean and well-prepared and I felt completely comfortable the entire time. At no point did I feel the need to have anything adjusted (temp, noise, pressure, etc.) but I felt comfortable to have said something if I had needed to. The massage was great, thorough, and a great way to reset!

First time here and I can Definitely say a 10/10 for sure , love the atmosphere made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. Katrina has hands of an angel I got the 60 minute deep tissue massage the time went by too fast I rescheduled an app for next month definitely worth the money and time.

Katrina does an awesome job and I highly recommend her! She gave me answers on some pain when other health care providers could not. Definitely recommend the Deep Tissue but Im sure shes great at all other aspects as well.

I received a massage from Katrina at EMTC as a birthday gift, and what a gift it was! When I arrived I was immediately greeted by Katrina. She was really communicative and helpful in deciding which areas needed to be focused on. She made me feel relaxed and at ease. I really enjoyed my massage and look forward to booking my next one!

After COVID, I stopped but I’m back. Katrina hasn’t changed a bit. Still so warm and friendly. Felt like l never left. She is very talented in finding just the knots and working all the kinks out. Won’t stop again. You can be sure of that!

I had my first appointment here and second massage overall with Gary and loved it. I came in for a therapeutic massage and ended up getting an orthopedic deep tissue done after going over my problems with Gary and he was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what he thought could benefit me without pressuring at all to change the plan. My pain levels and range of motion after were way better than theyve been in a while and I even recommended Empire and Gary to one of my friends whos been wanting a massage the same day as my first appointment

My therapist was Julia, but judging by the other reviews you really cant go wrong with any therapist at this establishment (whomever is in charge of hiring should be very proud). I went with a 90 minute therapeutic massage and it was the first (professional) massage of my life. As such my opinion isnt informed by much experience. With that said, the massage was everything I could have asked for: a calm, relaxing environment (the building itself is fairly small which I absolutely loved, it feels very cozy and intimate for a lack of a better word), friendly and accommodating therapists, relaxing sounds and scents (nothing overpowering, all very harmonious). 10/10 experience, and Im now a regular customer!

I wish I could give Empire Massage even more stars! Katrina is amazing!! She is crazy intuitive, and always knows which spots to hit. I always leave with a lot less pain and more inner peace. I cant recommend her enough!

Gary is the best! He helped me recover completely from carpal tunnel with therapeutic massage. I have had other issues since, and he has always pulled me through. Whenever Gary gives me a treatment, I dont need to see the chiropractor for months/years, whereas I used to go at least once a month.Yes, its also relaxing, but the deep-tissue massage allows my body to heal faster. Gary is also a good listener and very patient, and his therapeutic massages are effective!

I usually get a deep tissue massage with Katrina. Her sessions are topnotch absolutely amazing, however she was booking 3 weeks out at the time I scheduled. So I went to Gary D. He gave me an orthopedic massage and all I can say is wow! Im blown away by how long lasting the effects of the massage have been. My session was 7pm last night and I still feel relaxed at 12pm the next day. Gary is very knowledgeable and can give you a detailed synopsis of what is going on with your body in a way that makes sense. I lift weights, wrestle, and do Brazilian Jiu-jitsu so I need something effective to resolve pains and relax muscle. His orthopedic massage did the trick!

Always so good! Especially when I am stressed and sitting long hours at work. Katrina pays careful attention to my areas I indicate and gives a massage with lasting benefits!

Gary is extremely professional and helpful! I came to him with intense knee pain and limited mobility. After a one hour session I had regained my range of motion and the pain was alleviated. I cannot recommend Gary highly enough. I plan to continue to see him regularly to keep everything functioning at the highest level possible.

My friend gifted me a massage for Empire Therapeutic Massage Center. The place is a little small but the staff are all very welcoming. After filling out a quick survey about how my body was feeling or if I had anything I wanted them to work on, I was taken back to the room. Pleasant music was playing and the environment was very relaxing. After a great massage I left feeling SO relaxed! Definitely recommend them!

Gary was amazing at eliminating my trigger points and pain. His medical massage is a combination of physical therapy techniques and massage. He is kind and very knowledgeable. I have returned several times and have recommended him many people who have struggled with bak or neck pain.

Aside from being very knowledgable about how to work with specific conditions, Gary is a very nice person with a lot of compassion for the people he treats and a drive to help you comprehensively address muscular issues. I highly reccomend seeing him for specific and persistent pains, injuries, or as part of rehabilitation. He handles his bookings himself, so leave some lead time for a booking (dont wait to the last minute to set up an appointment).

I have been getting a massage from Katrina monthly for the last year & I would highly recommend her.

I was recently diagnosed with a severe lumbar disc herniation in my lower back and have been in mobility limiting pain for several weeks. The medication and physical therapy prescribed by my doctors helped lower my pain level, however it was still at a level where it impacted my day to day activity and family life severely. At the urging of my wife I booked an appointment with Gary at Empire Therapeutic Massage, because at that point I was willing to try anything to lower my pain level. My first 90 minute treatment was on Christmas Eve and it had an immediate powerful and positive impact. I went from living in sweatpants and needing to lay down frequently to manage the pain to being able to stand up straight, at least move around my house, and enjoy Christmas with my friends and family. Three treatments later, this time on New Years Eve my pain has been reduced significantly, all thanks to Gary. I highly recommend Gary DeFilippo. He takes a conservative approach at first, made a promise that he would not increase my pain level in any way, and get me out of pain without needing extensive medications or surgeries. Im happy to say that thus far he has kept his promise and I have no doubt as I continue treatment with him he will get me through my current situation and fully recovered.

My massage here was honestly terrible. It felt more like a doctors office visit than a relaxing massage Very disappointing for $50-60. My masseur talked to me the ENTIRE time, asking me questions about my place of work and schooling and making other small talk. it was actually very stressful and i felt uncomfortable speaking up to say please lets not talk because i felt that would be rude. I left feeling more stressed than I went inI will be looking elsewhere and i recommend you do to. Maybe a nice spa?
