Maes Acupressure Massage & Acupuncture

I called over the phone asking if they take walk-ins, they told they do and I came in 20mins later. The gentleman that checked me in was also who gave me the massage. I’ve got many massages in the past and I can tell he was not a masseuse. This was the worst experience I have ever had. Don’t take people in just to make money off of them when you can’t provide the service they come for.

Booking an appointment was easy and the service was great. I also appreciate the weekend hours.I booked a cupping appointment and felt wonderful afterwords. I will most certainly return.There is only on street parking and I would suggest bringing cash.

Rae is the best! When I feel tension I make an appointment with Rae. I leave feeling relaxed and great! I’ve been to many masseuses and this is the best. 😊😊😊

I booked reflexology with Mae because my neck was very locked up, but my nerves were too sensitive for massaging near the pain/tightness and Ive had mixed results from acupuncture at other places in the past. Not only did my neck loosen up initially and increasingly over the following days, but other nerve and muscle problems Ive been having improved as well! I just booked for a return visit.

When I went to Maes I was suffering from terrible nocturnal leg cramps, neck almost un-moveable and the fibromyalgia in my hands and elbows was unbearable. I had a 90 minute acupressure massage followed by Fire Cupping with Mae. All the pain went away. I am making my second appointment today. If you hurt and suffering, go to Maes. It will change your life, it did mine.

Gyozi is amazing. Totally works out the knots. Knows exactly where the areas are that needs work.

Absolutely horrible communication skills. Booked my appointment and confirmed before I hung up. I show up and she claimed she never got my insurance info and that I should have texted her 😂. I had it available but she said she never booked the appointment. like what? Didn’t even waste my time

I went in with a lot of neck, shoulders and upper back pain. The gentleman that worked on me seemed very experienced his name I believe was Gouxou. He kept checking with me, he could tell I was very sore and would adjust and vary pressure to ensure relief yet ensure effective massage. I went in with pain and came out pain free. I could move better and I felt so much better. I will make this a regular treatment for optimum health. Be prepared to feel some pain for effectiveness.Please note- the place is not easy to find. I was lost for over 10 minutes. I called Mae the owner and she directed me. I parked in the parking garage across Columbus bank and then just cross the street. The parking garage is next to 24hour fitness. For the hour I was there, I paid $6 for parking.

Ive been 4 times for acupressure massage. This place is legit. I tell them where it hurts, and when were done, Im not in pain anymore. I usually do a 2 hour massage. If you have muscle or nerve pain, try this place.

Prompt and ready upon arrival. Easy entry but public parking you have to pay no validation and my masseuse was Amazing, she put me to sleep. I will return.

Had the worst back pain I had ever had. Went to the ER because it was that bad. I did not want to keep taking pain meds as my doctors told me to so I decided to make an accupreassure massage appointment here.No bs, best decision ever. My back felt better right away and the best part was that I was able to sleep again.Will be going back just because I liked how the massage was.

I recommend Mae’s Accupuncture. She and her massage therapist are fantastic. The best place in town. Great service that will keep you coming back for a sound body. Very affordable.

I chose this place because it was the cheapest out of all other massage parlors around.It was hard to find tho, the place is located inside the capital national bank building in the second floor. In front of 24 Hour fitness. I circled the entire building twice, they actually came down to find me.Back to the review, not much talking was exchanged. I told him what I wanted and he got to work. Got my money’s worth definitely!! It was a little painful, definitely puts a little more force than I’m used to but it worked! He kept checking if I was doing ok. Private room for massage. Check the website for the prices because I don’t remember seeing them in the room. Prefers cash but takes card.

A legitimate small business. They were able to fit me in short notice for a 30 minute massage. Work in the ICU and woke up with quite a painful knot between my shoulder and neck. They were able to beat it into submission. Responsive to when the pressure was a bit too much. Great price $40 for 30 minutes. Well worth it.A bit hard to find the location. I booked this massage for a last minute trip that I decided to make, and BOY OH BOY did I get my moneys worth! This was my first massage and Mae did a great job making me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time! I will definitely be returning here for a longer massage the next time I treat myself to a relaxation trip!My only complaint is that the second floor window was open during the massage, which I totally understand because of the small space and it could get hot in there, but it was a little distracting since the location is in Downtown Sac.

If you LOVE a deep rough massage this place is for you! The little man is very traditional Chinese massage therapist.My friend and I found him on Google and well be planning our trip back to see him.We did a 15 min chair massage and he worked every bit of my back. I felt things pop Ive never felt before. Felt like an adjustment but with a massage. He was very conservative and kept my skin covered if my shirt started to rise. He also covered my friend who wore a tank top.Im sure he would have been more gentle had we asked but my back needed it lol! He offers a wide range of things from acupuncture to reflexology for feet.When searching on Google it will take you to a bulding with no business names. Walk inside and go to second floor and his office is there with many other businesses.

Mae is amazing. After two massages, I have a deep sense of wellness like my body is saying thank you. My body feels like it is functioning correctly after seeing her and I can breathe so much deeper due to her ability to release my back neck and shoulder stiffness. I feel great and will only go to her now. She is far and above any other massage therapist I have ever been to. Shes Amazing.

I had shoulder tendinitis on both my shoulders a few weeks apart. I went to see Mae each time and she gave me massage and cupping treatments. Mae really knew how to work on my neck, shoulder and upper hand. And I felt better the night after each treatment and I believe the treatment helped the healing. She also showed me some helpful stretching exercises to do after her treatment. Thank you Mae, so glad I went to see you.

Second time to the same location. The first time, I had massage was performed by Mae and second time around by some guy. Mae did an amazing job.Second time around, the guy did good job too but I was not that impressed. Im still sore from my acupressure.If you are expecting actual massage, than not the perfect place. They dont use any oil or any massage gel to massage the body. They keep applying pressure on the points. And no hot stone or hot towel experience here.And I kept hearing two ladies talking in the background, the street noise. Not a pleasant massage experience.

Best massage of my life! I am not exaggerating. I came in with a lot of knots and muscle pain from hunching over a computer all year, and they were so intentional about finding the root of my muscle aches and really working them out completely. You can tell the difference, when a massage is intentional like this. It felt like luxurious physical therapy more than just a massage, it was really healing and my muscle pain is so much better. I already feel myself sitting up straighter, and my pain is gone. I will definitely be going back!

Mae was wonderful as usual. I told her about my Piriformis injury and she paid extra attention to that area and now it feels a lot better. I have been going to Maes Acupressure for years. Mae is very strong and has excellent technique. Mae always does a great job on my deep tissue massage.

Literally so ruff told them I have arthritis and kyphosis. They continue to be hard when I told them it hurt while pulling my body away. No lotion used just a dry rub, gave me a burn behind my knees as well. I’m in worse pain then what I went in with.

Boy did I get my moneys worth at Maes acupressure therapy!! I had the 90 minute session. Mae is very strong and knows how to target problem areas with precision and strength. She is a compassionate healer with a sense of humor and a deft touch. I was sore the next two days, since it had been so long since Id had any massage, but now I feel really good. Wish I could see her again, but Im not local. After the stress of taking the California Acupuncture exam, I knew I would want a good, strong Asian-style massage to press out all those tension knots Id developed over the past months, and Mae was just what I needed. I wish I had someone just like her in Nevada.

I get a regular weekly massage as well as when I travel. One of the best massages I have had. This is the first time I have had an acupressure massage. This is a great in-between treatment from Swedish to deep tissue although it is closer to deep tissue. Very interactive, pressure was great, Maes work with her feet was phenomenal! Be prepared to be a little sore but well worth the pressure during for the relief afterwards. You must try it.

Very, very disappointed with this experience. My friend and I both left with more pain and very sore upper backs. Needless to say the massage therapist walked away twice to answer his cell phone during the massage session and it was really hard to understand what he was saying. This was not what we expected and definitely not worth the time and money. Find a better place.

I had the upper back 30 min massage and it was great. my upper back and shoulders have been so tight and painful. Worked through a lot of the tension and hit the spots right on w firm pressure. Booked a last min Friday apt when everyone was booked. Thanks you :)

My daughter was leaving for a month and Mae was able to fit us in at the last minute. She was very knowledgeable and put my 16 year old at ease. We are definitely going to go back. She is wonderful!!

My massage was well needed and great; except, checking in was confusing. Finding the right room number is confusing if youve never been here before. One great thing is you can book appts online and the people are very pleasant.

I love Maes for the accupressure massage. Gholi really can get knots out you did not even know you had, making your body feel much more supple and healthy.

AMAZING massage. But $75 for an hour is on the expensive side. If you are in need of a good deep tissue massage this is it. But if you just want to relax definitely go somewhere less expensive.

Awesome place. They really helped me out with some neck pain. The place is a little challenging to find from the road. Just park where you can within a block and hoof it. The offices are on the second floor of a multituse office building.

Jack is the only massage therapist that delivers a true deep tissue technique! I have been seeing him for over 10 years now starting at his massage station at the old mall, by Macys.

I couldn’t turn my head to either side or up and down. I had a pinched nerve under my shoulder blade that was so awful my hands were going numb. Joe’s deep tissue acupressure SAVED MY LIFE!!!!! I walked out of there a new person. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Made a booking, when I got there the doors where locked. As I’m from overseas I had no phone on me, had to ask someone to call them. After coming down and unlocking the door, I was told I couldn’t get the massage I booked as I was late. This was after trying to get in for 20+ minutes!

Had a good experience here. Was in town visiting and saw Destiny. Destiny is pretty cool and helped me out a lot. I will go back here and see her when I am back.

I had my first acupressure massage here with walking on my back for specific trigger points. It was great. Will definitely return here.

I love Mae and cant recommend her highly enough. She is strong and very good at what she does.

Massage was just ok. What I really didnt like was the super bright florescent lighting. Even with closed eyes the lighting was annoying.

During my visit here, I came in for an appointment and while I was waiting for my turn the employees started to be very rude and also started arguing in front of me and it made me uncomfortable so I walked out.
