Returning as an existing client, nothing but absolute joy in coming here! Immediately as we walked in we felt extremely welcomed. The staff and Jake were so friendly, and made me and my daughter feel very comfortable. Jake did such an amazing and incredible job on my daughter’s hair, she cant stop talking/screaming about how much she loves it!! Thank you so much jake!!

Waves salon is a luxurious and lavish hair studio that is beautifully neat and clean. They give the highest importance to maintaining hygiene standards. The services are amazing! First time at this salon and I was very impressed.I was welcomed by Dan , who gave me all information of the many services they offer. The salon is nice and clean and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Christie did my haircut. She is amazing. It’s so hard to find someone that can cut your hair the way you like. Great experience! The day before school our hair dresser had to cancel so we were scrambling to find a salon for my daughter that we hoped would do a good job not knowing what we were walking into…enter Waves…after calling several places they were able to get us in…it was a 40 minute drive but we were like ok let’s hope for the best. The manager I think is who we spoke to on the phone. SO nice and enthusiastic about his salon. Maddie did my daughter’s hair…it shaved off an hour of how long it normally is and it was about 50-60 dollars cheaper. And it was the best highlight job she’s had! It’s honestly a diamond in the rough so to speak. They offer everything from lashes to hair to massages and etc. definitely worth the drive. Maddie did amazing and I only wish I had before and after pictures! She got so many compliments at school. We’ll be back for sure!

Have been a client of Jacob’s and Dan for 2 years since moving to the area. Jacob does my hair and eyebrows. Cecilia my eyelashes and facials. I am very pleased with how Madison did my daughter’s hair and a great addition to the team. Their new salon in huge and spacious. Can’t say enough good things about Waves Salon & Spa! I’ve been looking for a new place to get my hair done and am so happy I found them. Jacob did an amazing job on my hair (short bob & money piece) and I left my appointment feeling super fresh and super cute! One of the best salons I’ve ever been to! Very friendly and a beautiful environment. I have very long, thick curly hair and was able to get a haircut fitting to me. Madison did a great job at doing what I requested and I would definitely recommend her if you have hair like me! I will definitely be coming back soon. :)

I felt like a part of the family before I had my first appointment, before I even walked in the door! Dan, the concierge, made me feel like an old friend and welcomed me with genuine respect. Jacob took his time with me to correct bad box color, gave me a spectacular cut and styled my hair, making me look fantastic! Waves has a laid back cool vibe and the prices are good (so you can tip well). I look forward to utilizing the variety of services they offer.

From the ease of booking online, to Dan calling with perfect directions, to Christy giving me perfect highlights and Jack discussing my brow needs everything was delightful. I will return to their salon and highly recommend them to others. You will not be disappointed. They are heavily involved with charity in their community with is an additional plus in my eyes. Check they out!! Oh, and if you are a dog lover they have a salon dog Asher who is just beautiful. He wont bother you unless you want to say hello.

Being chemically sensitive, especially to artificial scents, I hadnt been able to go inside a salon for a few years. But Waves is about as nontoxic as a beauty salon can be. Not only did I have no reactions, but I got to meet wonderful concierge Dan and the best hairstylist Christie. Im eager to have a pedicure there next, but in the meantime am loving my new haircut!! So happy to find Waves!!

I am a new customer and from the moment I walked into the building I felt comfortable and was immediately welcomed by the Owners and my amazing stylist Madison. I wanted my hair to become blonde and she delivered above and beyond. Not only was she super nice, but she was the only stylist who didnt have to use toner on my hair and it was not brassy at all. Amazing people, down to earth and the prices are amazing as well. I def found my forever salon! Highly recommend! They offer a lot of services besides hair too .

I chose Waves from a search for best walk- in -salons in St. Augustine…I chose well! I called on a Wednesday looking for a next day appointment. Dan got back to me very quickly, and scheduled me with Jacob. Jacob gave me the perfect hairstyle for the dress I would wear to a wedding.Since we were from out of town, my husband waited for me, greatly enjoying conversation with Dan.Wonderful to meet you, Dan and Jacob! Now I know what salon to go to for my next St. Augustine wedding!

The reason for my trip was a last minute, elopement-style wedding I had been invited to. I arrived in desperate need of a lash fill. I booked my appointment online less than 24 hours before the ceremony and Dan (the concierge) was SO gracious and helpful and got me in at 3pm that afternoon. My esthetician,Jacob,was very kind and SKILLED. I was done in about an hour and my lashes looked so beautiful and natural. I had a wonderful experience and left feeling relaxed,uplifted, and lovely. I would highly recommend this welcoming, professional,full service (!!) salon for any vacation/bridal/ honeymoon/self care needs.

My daughter got a Brazilian blowout today and her hairdresser was Madison and she did a great job as soon as I walked in. I love the vibe that Dan gave me made us feel right at home greeted me by my name and we had a great time and Jacob as well, just overall great time and loved loved loved my daughters hair. I recently visited this salon for the first time, and I was impressed! I needed a last-minute haircut, and I was thrilled to find an appointment available on a Sunday, which is rare for salons.Dan greeted me with a warm smile and an abundance of positive energy, making me feel instantly welcome. His personable nature and enthusiasm were truly uplifting. He gave me a tour and explained the variety of services they offer, showing that theres something for everyone.The salon itself is inviting, with tasteful décor and impeccable cleanliness—clearly well-maintained.Madison cut and styled my hair. I shared my preferences, and she suggested some subtle changes that I absolutely loved. Despite being typically shy, I found myself chatting with her comfortably throughout the appointment. My hair looks and feels fantastic thanks to her skillful work. I’ll definitely be rebooking with her!I’m excited to try more of the services they offer in the future. Yesterday I went for my second massage at Waves Salon & Spa. I was met at the door by the concierge, Dan who automatically knew my name. That was such a nice touch walking into a place and having them know your name. Very welcoming. Alaina was my massage therapist. She quietly and professionally went about her business of finding out about what I needed. It was a very relaxing, delightful experience. My massage was awesome. I could feel the stress just coming off of my body as she worked her magic. I would recommend this spa to anyone who needs a recharge. I did and I felt so much better when I left. I will definitely be back. The prices are very reasonable as well!

I cannot say enough about the amazing experience I had. We have been traveling in our motorhome from the west coast & it was time to get my lash extensions filled. It is always a challenge finding someplace on the road.Wow.. did I ever score with WAVES.I was greeted by Dan. A very charming, inspiring young man. Jacob did my lashes and did a wonderful job. They are very friendly and welcoming. This is their new location and it is beautiful. All the remodeling done by Jacob. He is definitely a jack of all trades.They have EVERY service you can imagine all in one place. The only drawback is they are not on the west coast!

So I live in Saint Cloud & had an event in St. Augustine this past weekend. I called quite a few salons & this particular salon called me back right away! I spoke w Dan, the concierge for Waves salon & spa & he’s phenomenal! He helped me every step of the way, from making sure that ALL my requests were taken care of as well as letting me know all the great places to do & eat in town! My hairstylist Jacob & makeup artist Cecilia did a fantastic job! They did not disappoint! Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Needless to say, I’ll be coming back & if you haven’t been, you’re in for a treat!!!

Most salons and spas say they want to make every customer feel unique ... Dan is the special individual who is truly curious about every person who walks through his door and sincerely cares about making each one feel better and happier than when they arrived. My wife and I are grateful for having found a great salon in Waves and a friend in Dan.

I had a pretty sad experience at another salon in town, and I’m so glad I found Waves Salon. Dan and Jacob are so wonderful!! They gave me such a warm welcome alongside a judgment-free zone in their salon as a first-time client. Jacob did amazing with my haircut too, and really listened to any concerns I had about shampooing, styling, etc. I’ll definitely be back! :)

I reached out to Waves to book my bridal hair and makeup for my elopement coming up in September. The concierge I reached was named Dan and seemed pleasant and happy to help. He sent me an email confirmation that said my hair would be with someone named Jacob, and my makeup would be done by someone named Greyson. Both of these people had good reviews, and I was excited. However, after a bit of back and forth today, not only did he confuse my appointment for someone elses, but he also told me that my makeup artist had been changed to someone named Cecelia. Unfortunately, she had not gotten good reviews, and after looking at her IG I knew her style was not something I wanted for my wedding day.I asked to be rebooked with Greyson like before, but my request was denied. Not only had he not informed me of this rebooking, but he also refused to tell me why it had been rebooked in the first place. I would have at least done a trial with her, but I live too far away. It was too big of a risk to take considering this makeup would be for my wedding day, and therefore in every picture to remember the day. Instead of offering to switch me to a different makeup artist, he cancelled my appointment, and confirmed with me that someone named Christie would be doing my hair instead of Jacob. Another change I had not been notified about. So I cancelled that appointment as well. This experience was disappointing and stressful.

I recently had a microblading appointment with Jacob at Waves Salon, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Dan, the receptionist, made me feel incredibly welcomed, setting a positive tone for my visit.Jacobs professionalism and expertise were evident throughout the session. I felt completely relaxed and confident in his capable hands. Both Jacob and Dan treated me with genuine care, never making me feel like just another customer to rush through.The personalized attention and warm environment made the entire experience truly enjoyable. Im already looking forward to my next appointment and highly recommend Waves Salon for anyone considering microblading.

Love it here. I just had the best spa experience ever. 1st Dan made me feel like weve been friends for years! Really made me feel welcome and at home. My facial was done by Gresyson. I highly recommend her my face is usually all red and irritated after a facial but not todayMy skin looks and feels amazing. Greyson was also so sweet and kind made me feel so comfortable. Waves… Best Salon in St Augustine! They got me in the same day after another salon canceled right before a wedding! Jacob did my sew in extensions, and did a fabulous job! Stephanie did my daughter’s hair, perfect! And Dan made everyone feel right at home with his fun conversation, and chill vibe. I know where I’m going for all things hair..

My daughter-in-law brought me in for a day with the girls! We all got a cleansing facials, scheduled at the same time by Dan, which is not easy!! The entire experience was amazing!! The staff are experienced, well organized, on time....and the salon is sparkling clean and has a beautiful peaceful ambiance... really made us feel relaxed and comfortable. Needless to say, we had a great day and will most definitely return!!😉

I love the salon! They came through in a pinch. I had booked my daughter, an updo appointment for her spring formal. The night before the formal the Hairstylist from a different salon canceled. Forcing me to have to find a new Hairstylist the morning of the formal on a Sunday. Dan, was able to find me a stylist who did a phenomenal job! Stephanie was nice and accommodating. My daughter said she felt like a princess after her hair was done. I will definitely be going back in the future when they get into their new building. What I liked best was they worked with my budget.

Ever since my last eyebrow threading plays closed, I have been lost and despondent about my hairy brows. Today on a random Google search. The day before I go on a cruise I saw that Waves said that they do eyebrow threading to which I was dubious because I cant seem to find anybody in St. Augustine to do my brows.Long story short, this place is awesome. Jacob did a wonderful job with my brows, Dan was very nice, I could see us being buddies LOL, and I got to meet their cute dog Ash. I will be coming back!

Had a wonderful facial. Everything about the new expanded Waves Salon is warm and inviting . They have a great reward program for our first responders - wish they would add teachers , who are also first responders . So go and visit Waves Salon - you won’t be sorry. It’s a gem to our community- and they pay it forward.

I’ve gone to Waves twice now, once for eyelash lift and tint and the second for a pre-natal massage. The ladies who did my eyelashes were so much fun and did a great job. Heather did my massage and it was amazing!! Waves also has their own concierge, Dan, who worked a miracle to get me in for that seriously needed massage before my due date. Definitely give Waves a try! They offer SO many services and I will definitely be back for more.

First time coming here after getting my first ever set at a different location. Jake, my lash tech, did an INCREDIBLE job doing my fill in while his partner, Dan, was so helpful during the appointment making process as well as just having pleasant conversation while getting my lashes done. Both have amazing personalities as a customer and friend POV. I am already planning on coming back to get regular fill in’s as well as doing my hair in a month. I was also offered a slice of their homemade rum cake as a goodbye treat. I recently moved down to St. Augustine from Virginia and hadnt yet found services for many of my needs. I stumbled upon Waves in a google search, and let me just say, these google reviews didnt disappoint!Dan greeted me, talked me through their move to St. Aug & to their new location (toot toot, beep beep!). Jacob prepped me for my first threading in about 11 months (it wasnt that bad!). Yall, I felt like I walked into Truvys Salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana no joke. It felt like home. My brows look phenomenal (seriously considering microblading, cause I am done with the nonsense!) I got a run down on all the services & a tour, seriously - you need not go to multiple places for all your needs. Just come to Waves.Not only did I walk away with a one-stop-shop for all my beauty/self-care needs, but recommendations for other services in the local area. They truly care about their clientele.

Great customer service. They make you feel like family. The stylist Morgan was fantastic. I’ve been looking for ever for someone like Morgan. She listens and involves me with questions about my hair and how I wear it.

After moving to the area a few years ago and trying several different salons I am SO happy to have found Waves - so many services to choose from. The entire experience was amazing. The booking process was seamless - thanks to Dan. He was so friendly and accommodating and checked in during and after the visit to make sure we were completely happy and satisfied. The appointment was a pleasure - Jacob was so easy going and did a wonderful job on my sons, daughters, and my hair! We will definitely be going back!

This place is amazing. The waves guys are the best. He takes his time on your hair and hes very funny. They have done much hair and my daughters the blonde looks so pretty. I still love my hair cut and color. I did my hair about 2 months ago.

Highly disappointed! First off,I do want to say the people are lovely. They seem… very chery,funny,and personable. Which is great,but the services...were NOT!I went to Cecelia to for possibly my wedding makeup. I was told by her bosses she was amazing. She didnt have any examples on her IG,but thought why not. After my experience, I feel like I was her first wedding makeup customer ever.First off, the quality of makeup was the kind you can by at $5below (L.A Colors and Elf),which is good for maybe some skin types and maybe everyday wear,but not for a service costing over $100 and not for your wedding day!I was expecting what most people use for Wedding makeup. Higher quality and/or the permanent make up. She missed the first step of doing any makeup,which is primer and barely did half of my face for the trial run.She kept putting the lipstick all around my lips. the foundation was not pleasant looking,and the eye shadow/winged liner was done with pencil and looked barely there. It honestly looked like when my seven year old niece did my makeup for fun.She showed me and expected a big response. I honestly was waiting for it to be like a prank show,but this was her serious work. No way thats good enough for anything! Not a picture day,a date,a prom, let alone a wedding! It was bad.Then the hair. I picked a style that was not crazy,but even if it was,most stylists can figure it out. My sister has done this style many times on me and herself with no issues and under 30 mins if that (shes not a stylist). The stylist could not do it at all and tried for over an hour. Then nicely blamed my hair. Again, for an amount of over $100 for the service and a wedding, this was ridiculous.I was so disappointed.... I would not recommend any makeup services and any hair other than the basic styles,like having your hair curled, from this place.

Waves is the best salon Ive found in years. Jacob has done my hair for 6 months now and its perfect all the time. I get cut and color every 4 weeks and it has never looked better

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a good prenatal massage. So glad I found Heather! She is so professional and knows exactly what she is doing. It was so important to me to have a masseuse who was educated on prenatal. Dan Warren is the concierge at Waves and is super helpful and accommodating! I have also had great experiences with Jacob (hair stylist) and Cecelia (esthetician)! One of the biggest perks for me, being a busy mom of two, is the ability to just click on their website and book an appointment! Highly recommend!!

Heather and Dan are absolutely amazing. As a dentist my back and neck are very often in shambles but thanks to Heather I can feel relief. I see her once in 3 weeks and it’s usually the highlight of my weekend 😂 Magical healing hands to say the least. Dan works his magic too in squeezing me into the schedule when I need it. They are both just a delight and I am going to miss them when I move away from St Augustine soon.

Waves is a Full service salon that provides SO much. I’ve had 2 of their many services: a facial with their esthetician and threading.Yes THREADING in St. Augustine! It has been so hard to find a place or a person that can thread in St. Aug, but they provide it! And with such a gentle hand at that! The service I received was a complete game changer for me, and I completely recommend them for any of your facial threading needs!Now, the esthetician, she’s PHENOMENAL! She’s very knowledgeable, and when she doesn’t know the answer right off the bat, she’s doing the research to get the answer for you! My skincare journey has been a rough one, but after meeting her for the facial, then starting to follow the techniques and advice she provided has already seen a positive change in my skin. I’m actually excited to see how my skin develops on this journey with her.If you’re in the market for an esthetician, or really any salon need, please check them out! I had my eyebrows micro-bladed at Waves and it was the best experience. They walked me through each step of the process. Explained the healing process and aftercare. When I left I was smiling from ear to ear! My brows have never looked better! Can’t wait to go back and get my eyeliner done next month! I would recommend anyone to go here that is interested any permanent makeup service.

5++Stars!! Clean, courteous, professional, delightful. I felt welcomed, pampered and comfortable. Passing through town I needed an appointment on short notice and they accommodated me - AMAZING. My stylist listened to me and provided valuable information about the condition of my hair and the type of cut - OUTSTANDING. The puppy and aquarium were a pleasant surprise ❤️. I may need to intentionally pass this way again and take advantage of all the other services offered. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I really needed it.

I came across Wave Salon while looking for someone to do my Brazilian blowout. I’m glad I found Dan and Jacob as they are truly kind hearted humans. I connected with them right away and Jacob did and absolutely amazing Brazilian blowout. Dan was fabulous and went above and beyond acting as my personal concierge and coordinated/scheduled a facial and massage right after. Everything went seamlessly and I walked out feeling pampered and relaxed. Dan is also an excellent baker and made me my own Caribbean Rum Cake and had it ready for me at the Salon.. how amazing and thoughtful is he.. (eating a slice of cake as I write this review 😊). These guys are a cut above the rest offering quality full spa services here at Waves Salon. Please come check them out to experience their professionalism, excellent customer service, and quality full salon services. They have a give back program offering services to breast cancer patients so please partner with them or donate for a good cause. The world needs more kind hearted and compassionate folks and Dan and Jacob are truly wonderful humans.

Disappointed by the poor overall quality of the environment. There is a major lack of support for the employees/staff. Some licensing requirements are not enforced with services and it appears policies are being implemented improperly just based off experience I recently had come across many things to steer clear of bringing my business here.

I have had numerous massage but I received the best massage I have ever had at Wave salon. I am pregnant so I got the prenatal massage & I have never felt more relaxed after a massage. This salon is like no other salon I have been to. They are a salon that is like a nonprofit organization. They care about their clients & they give back to the community. They want all of their clients to achieve their dreams even in this hard time. I STRONGLY recommend Wave Salon for all of your salon needs.

Honestly,One of the best services I’ve ever received for a threading! We all know threading is NOT comfortable and Jake did an absolute wonderful job and surprisingly it barely hurt!He was so respectful! And I was going through so much at the time, just having someone to vent to and actually hold a conversation during my threading made me feel so much better! During this time I learned so much about their programs especially for the women who have lost their hair during cancer treatments. It almost made me cry!I love seeing a business give out to the community and serve a great purpose. The follow-up call from Dan was amazing too! I learned a lot and felt so at ease! He was also so respectful.Everyone was wonderful and beyond friendly. I know where I’ll be going next and they did an amazing job all around! LOVE THIS PLACE!

I cannot say enough about this amazing Salon. I have had my extentions done literally all over the country. Hands down longest lasting, most even, BEST lashes yet!!! The owners are equally amazing. I had an absolutely amazing massage with Heather. I have sciatica and a frozen neck. I could hardly walk when I came out but now, almost 3 hours later - I feel great! No crunchy neck and back feels a lot better. Heather has magical healing hands! Highly recommend!

I never even knew it was there and so glad I found it.Jacob is the epitome of professional, knowledgeable, friendly and connected with me on a personal level which is so very important to me right now. As a women with cancer its not fun to look in the mirror and see the impacts that lifesaving treatments have done to my appearance . Jacob not only listens he understands and genuinely wants to make you feel better again.He explains the entire process, provides options and ideas and also shared other services that may be of benefit to me as I progress. We talked about my wig and how I could get comfortable with it, eye lash options I could consider,etc.Through this entire experience I felt as if Ive known him for years and his main goal is to make me feel beautiful again. 💕This morning when I woke up and saw my beautiful eyebrows I felt beautiful again and did not see cancer but someone who is coming alive again.I cant thank you enough for the give back program. With mounting expenses for treatment it was not something I would have been able to do at this time. But you made it happen and I am forever grateful.

I had my eyebrows done by Jacob. They came out fabulous.However after only 2 months of having them done they have substantially lightened. Also the eyebrow that was the most scarce is still like that. Im pretty disappointed. I was told that it should last 18-24 months.
