Nice, but small jazz / music / cigar bar. Very friendly staff and a decent selection of cigars as well as a large selection of beer.

A medium sized humidor. pricing seemed a little higher than other lounges, but the ambiance is what youre there for. live music. went upstairs, and there was no ventilation whatsoever. outside whats appreciated, it was just the humidity was excruciating. small intimate.

So wandering around ST.Augustine and happened upon this gem of a spot. Walked in to the aroma of cigar smoke which is what drew us into this spot. Was in the walk in humidor and looking through all the cigar they had, and they helped us find the right cigar for me. Highly recommend this place to anyone who likes to smoke cigars selection was great.

If you like beer & smoking cigars this is the place for you! $3 cigars with 1st draft purchase. Smoking allowed indoors & on the outside patio.

The staff is friendly and cheerful, the bar and lounge is cozy, and it’s not too bright or too dark. Though if you go upstairs and come down you definitely need to watch that last step.My only suggestion is try to avoid politics or religion when talking to your friends inside. Some customers will over hear and step in despite saying it’s just a private conversation.It’s understandable that staff don’t want to get involved especially when the person who overhears and but in starts getting vocal.Overall great place to relax and enjoy.

Was there again this past week and STOGIES remains an ABSOLUTE HEAVEN.......great selection of beers served by friendly staff.......JAZZ and stuff after 9 p.m.........and CIGARZZZZZ!!! Not only INSIDE but outside as well ....and around a fire pit to take the chill off while you have nice conversations with friendly locals.......Such a NICE bit of CIVILIZATION compared to the garbage restrictions we have up here in Canada!!!!!

Always a highlight of a visit to St.Augustine. Centrally located, fantastic selection of not only cigars but also suds. They have a walk in humidor and big cooler full of craft suds. Indoor and outdoor seating where you can enjoy a puff and a drink. Also home to professional helpful friendly service. These folks are true pros! A bonus is the live music. Pretty much a must stop if your out on the town.

Looking for an interesting, cool, chill spot with cigars stop in to Stogies. Cigars are inexpensive and a decent variety. This was a stop during a ghost tour and was a good spot to enjoy a drink and cigar for sure.

A beautiful oasis. Not a typical stodgy English library. Basically the opposite. Good atmosphere and people. Slightly expensive beers, but offset by the cigars being reasonable. An upstairs and outside as well.

The vibe is good. Music is at an appropriate level for good conversation and good fellowship. Bring a cigar to have spicy conversations.

Great selection of cigars. A cigar special when you buy a pint. Nice mix of craft beer and wine. Yep smoking both inside and out on the deck. Loved the cigars that were house blended too. Small space for a small live music performer that kinda takes over the space. Better suited for acoustic.

The proprietor of this establishment was very helpful when picking out a cigar or two. The live music was nice and the prices were reasonable! Wonder evening spot.

A very calming inviting upbeat atmosphere. One could find themselves enjoying some of the worlds finest cigar while listening to divine live music. The place is a slice of heaven served on a silver platter by the experts who remain genuine.

We love to listen to music here. My husband smokes cigars. I do not. They have an indoor and outdoor space. From the outdoor space you can see the fort. They serve beer and wine.

Im pretty sure they dont serve food there. They may, but Ive never had any but it is quiet, cozy, and if its cold enough, theres a fire outside where you can enjoy your beer and a nice cigar that you get to choose from their fine humidor which allows you a moments. Peace of relaxation along with a few strangers out by the fire pit is always quite nice in the winter

Great cigar lounge! They have a great selection of drinks, and the bartender was especially kind. They had plenty of seating inside and outside - including a neat upstairs area.Definitely take advantage of their $3.00 cigar with a draft purchase deal, and dont forget to ask about their military discount!

Not a smoker so cant rate the atmosphere a 5....but it is a cigar bar. 😳They have the best music and all the locals seem to hang out there. We loved listening to Michael Jordan, a local guitarist play his heart out. One of the best Ive seen. He is mesmerizing. Plays in the style of Michael Hedges and Andy McKee. Because I dont smoke, I hung out on the patio and watched from there. Really great. Wine was decent as well.

Stogies is one of my top 10 cigar hangouts between St. Augustine and Georgia! Their new house cigar pars well with dragon tooth stout! A party on your palate!

Just a heads up, if you dont like the smell of smoke, this is not the joint for you. Really chill vibe, everyone locally or tourists seemed to be enjoying themselves. The band that was playing was also really good. I recommend checking out thete cigars if your into that.

Last year December 2023 me and my partner drove for a day of joy to st augustine.my partner always goes to stories for a drink while Im shopping.but this time when I came back with my little doggie 8lbcarried on my arm because I know stories does not allow dogs upstairs.i went up as always to tell my partner Im ready to go.but this time an aggressive employee came out and sceamed at me get immediately down w your dog.i said I understand I just let my partner know.he was right there and heard her screaming violent and foul language was in use from her side.than another male employee came and wanted to grasp me by the arm even with my tiny dog on my left arm to through me down gradually the stairway.i just said dont touch me or I call the police.they both said we dont care.i told them that I understand but their threats towards me was terrible.this never happened before in your bar.for now I do not recommend stogies for that reason.it was a terrible experience for me and my 79 year old partner.to be that violent.Silvia and norm slaustas

Bartenders were welcoming and helpful. Inside atmosphere is small, dim, super smokey, and lacking.Outside seating is simple, dated, but spacious.They have a good, but small humidor and only serve beer and wine.

Stogies is a hidden gem of casual Hangouts I love the genuine people that run it and the great selection of cigars and local craft beers. Its super comfortable around the multiple firepits they have and plenty of seating for a decent size group. Inside the front door they have a band playing on the weekends and some week days. Also its nice to get a free house cigar with drink purchase during happy hour. Also if the game is on they have several TVs to watch. Overall great place and a must visit on every visit to St. Augustine.

I always make it a priority to stop by Stogies when Im in St. Augustine. Their draft and free cigar deal is a must, and I love their upstairs seating area and the jazz covers they play.

This was our first time at Stogies and it was a great experience. Our visit started with a Stout beer on draught, a free house brand cigar and the very pleasant ambiance inside and the cozy patio/garden outside. Well definitely be back.UPDATE: March 7, 2024.Stogies is the same great cigar bar as before, except that now they charge $3.00 for the Draught/Cigar special. But Ill still be a customer to them.

So smokey, no cocktails, their sweetest wine is dry and unpalatable. The best part is the ghost upstairs.

Very uninviting atmosphere around the bar. Just wanted to come in for a stogie but its so sloppy and disorganized I could hardly make my way over to the humidifier and once I did some bartender came over and begrudgingly helped us she was extremely rude and standoffish.

We were on a pub crawl ghost tour. We didnt eat but some had drinks. If you dont like cigars then you wont like it but I thought the atmosphere was relaxing and laid back.

Very nice low key atmosphere, comfortable seating and good jazz music. Slightly small interior, not ideal for large groups, but great small intimate spot for a glass of wine or cigar.

I’ve been coming here for years with friends and family but after the way I was treated by the tattooed bartender Kim last night I will not be coming back. She was impatient, rude, and demeaning to my wife and myself. She even got so frustrated she raised her voice at us. We came up for many rounds, it was my wife’s birthday mind you, every time she was greeted with ego and given an attitude. Aside from the rudeness, I also watched her smoke a cigarette and then immediately serve someone without washing hands. I was a little grossed out to say the least. Stogies never had an issue with this in the past I’m not sure who’s running the bar now but if they want it to thrive she needs a major attitude adjustment. If I were the owner I would be embarrassed.

Great place to sit and relax. Staff is super friendly and accommodating.

Nice little pub had the Guinness on tap. They had a 3piece band the night we were there and the bass was way too loud could hardly hear the vocals and lead guitar but the band really sounded full for a 3piece.

Service was great. Eric was incredible. I highly recommend for cigars and beer.

Original historical home with a haunted past turned bar, it is well preserved and offers great music, craft beers and cigars. A must se!

Stogies is a St Augustine landmark. Its legendary. People travel from all over to hang there. The best people hang there.The bartenders are beyond fantastic. They really make the place vibe.Its beer and wine only...I know ...I enjoy their house cigar.

Stogies is an amazing bar to lounge with your friends, smoke a cigar (or not), and enjoy a spirit (beverage or local haunt) with your friends or family. The building is historic in our beautiful historic city, and there is a story or 2 to tell while visiting Stogies. A definite must to come and enjoy.

This is such a rad little place to stop in if you want a chill vibe, good cigars & great music! My friends and I were celebrating a birthday and stopped in & had a great night! Our night was so fun that I accidentally left my wallet there. The next day the owner was able to put the word out to the staff who found my wallet in the couch! When I went and retrieved it, all my stuff inside the wallet was still there. So not only a rad place but honest & AMAZING people too and that goes a long way in my book! What a great combo!!! Will definitely be back and will never forget my experience. Definitely check them out if you are in the area

Always good music, amazing atmosphere and decent cigars. Be prepared for a lack of space and over crowding but, to me that adds to the fun here.

Lovely cigar bar with great beer and a great cigar selection. If you aren’t a fan of smoke, this place isn’t for you- BUT it’s a wonderful place for socializing and having a good smooth smoke and brew.$3 cigar with your first draftMusic nightly 9pm-1am . It seemed like a cool place so we decided to go in the evening for that jazz. The cigars were dry and the humidor was smoky. The gentleman performing wasnt playing jazz music. We were pretty disappointed and wouldnt go again.

A nice place to visit, this was my first cigar and the employee that guided me was very helpful and gave me the basic tips I needed to have a good experience. It was a chill atmosphere and would be a cool place to hang out with a small group. I think there was enough variety of cigars for any range of experiences. There was a bonfire outside and live music inside and when the live act left they played some old jazz. Cool place if youre looking to kill some time.

Great little spot tucked away from traffic of St George Street. Pretty cozy indoors but good seating outdoors. Just serves wine and beer. I prefer liquor with my cigar but I did enjoy a nice porter. They offer a cigar for $2 with purchase of a beer. Nice staff!

Awesome old school vintage atmosphere. Good craft beer selection including some local beers. Bar staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Supposedly haunted. No need to fear though. Ive been here several times and if there is anything there they dont seem to mind if you hang out upstairs and enjoy a good beer and cigar with friends.

Lived in Saint Augustine for 4 years and first time here at Stogies. The staff was extremely welcoming and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing brew and a good stick. Humidor is filled with quality cigars and the Taps have something for everyone. Will be frequenting more often.

This is by far the best place in St. Augustine to grab a stick and enjoy life. Solid selection of cigars that are properly humidified so you can enjoy immediately. They have a vast selection of craft brews and solid wine options as well. The wife and I were here for a few days and we visited this establishment twice due to the attentive staff and awesome outdoor area. If you are a cigar smoker...this is the only place you should consider...

The Staff is Awsome. Great music and atmosphere, patio seating and tables with firepit. Exterior deck area seating, bar seating, leather couches and chairs on the main level and upstairs in the dimly lit loft with a Birdseye view to the band. Humidor room with all kinds of cigars.. Smoking inside and out. Great friendly crowd of people of all ages.Must come visit my home away from home. Super Hopping on Thursdays Fridays and Saturday especially, but a great place to visit always!!

Very nice atmosphere, with a nice outdoor sitting area. A few selections of drafts to choose from. They advertise that you receive a free cigar with purchase of draft beer. After our beers were poured, bartender stated that deal ends at 7pm, and it was now 7:05pm. When we questioned the 7pm time, and that we had actually waited about 10 minutes for service, he stated, no problem, as we can up sell you a cigar for $2 more. All signs we saw stated free cigar did not state an end time. Still giving it a 4 star rating, as the outside sitting area is very nice.

This local hot shop has everything you need. The humor was well stocked and I received a great recommendation. After purchasing a draft from their wide selection, my stogie was cut and lit for me to take outside to the live band playing. There is seating all around, inside and out. They have a pretty nice selection on beers to try. I do not smoke and on this sunday night there was only a couple of people smoking cigars. The person playing the live music was good and had a lot of knowledge on the music he was playing with the background history of the artists. I will go back just to listen to the music and history. A great place for a mellow night off.

Love this place! Dont live in St. Augustine but go there every time Im in town! This place has a cigar room to purchase cigars. You can a number of craft beers and ciders. Most of the time they will have a live band and this does have an upper level area. You can sit inside or outside. Take your pick! Its a great place right in the heart of down town. And if youre hungry check out the seafood restaurant next door called Catch 27 l, its delish! check it out, too!

I love stogies! Its one of our favorite local hangouts. Only downside is there is super limited seating so on a busy night youll have a hard time finding a place to cozy up. This is no big deal for those of us who dont mind standing!

My wife and I love this place!!They have a great selection of beers and cigars. Dorothy (Doe) is one of the bar keeps there and is a big part why we stopped there several times during our visit to St. Augustine. Its a comfortable hangout spot to grab a beer and a stogie.

Second best bar in down town St. Augustine. Live music and a great spot next to the fort make this bar very inviting. They gave away free cigars with every draft beer purchase which is pretty cool considering your already buying beer. They do have higher quality cigars on site in the humidor. Fantastic beer selection and cigars! You get a free stogie with your first beer and they will cut and light it for you.We walked into the main floor and were met with solo blues sounds from a live acoustic guitar. Very peaceful and inviting as a modern-day rustic parlor.Dont spend too much time up stairs, because there are stories of ghost in the bathrooms. Also, lack of ventilation will have you feeling ghastly.

My fiance and I love coming here when we visit St. Augustine. Theres almost always live music at night, and the beer selection is good. Its one of the only places I know of where you can smoke inside, but we always go outside when we are visiting here. Theres a fire pit outside for when it gets cold at night. Overall its not a place to take your kids, and you shouldnt go here if youre opposed to smoking. But if you want a laid back place where you can have a few beers and smoke a cigar its well worth stopping by.

Was a great place to hang out for a while. They offered a pretty decent cigar with your first paid draft beer. We are able to sit outside around the fire and drink and smoke and talk to other tourist who happen to be there. A great time all around.

Great beer! I got cigar city brewery, which was like chocolate stout! It compliments the cigar I was having with my boyfriend, I dont know the name of the one he had but one of the customers there owns that cigar brand and sell it nationwide. Something leaf... Im terrible with names.Beside all that, the customer service was amazing, the bartender (blonde lady) was well knowledgeable when it came to cigars and beer.

Good place if you want to go back to smelling of smoke again and washing all your clothes. If you smoke cigars and feel that this is enjoyable then this is the place for you! Also, listen to music and pay for it by tipping the artist despite the fact that this is one of the reasons for going into the house. Weird I know...

Great beer selection, killer live music, and an intimate locals-only feeling that did not make us feel out of place in the least bit. Met some wonderful people and even a bad ass dog! Definitely be back next time around.

I was told it was a great place for a cold beer and smoke a Cigar on the nice outdoor patio. But when I arrived, I was told Quite rudely by the Bartender who appeared to not want to be there herself; ONLY PACKAGED GOODS! Dont really understand why the outdoor patio, with plenty of space would be off-limits even during COVID-19.

Smokey dive bar, bartender was great and knew the town very well. They have a ton of beer there in bottles or on tap, there was no light American beer though and sometimes a bud light is all a guy wants. There was a decent wine selection as well.

Went there last Friday night, was drawn in from the street by the jazz music emanating from inside. Intimate setting with love seat sized couches, bar stools and reasonably priced beer/wine/liquor. But what set this place apart for me was the quality of sounds coming out of the House Cats band. Beautiful/tight arrangements of jazz standards from this quartet, and Greg, the tenor saxophonist, wields a mighty ax! Highest recommendation!

Super cool place. As most businesses in St. Augustine, this one is in a two story building. You can access the second floor where it is dimly lit, smoky, and filled with comfy seating. It was all filled up when my boyfriend and I got there, but it had this vintage-y feel that rubbed off on us as we walked through the space. After getting some drinks (and free cigars!), we settled by the fire outside while we listened to some live jazz. Good service, yummy beers, firepits, live music. My kind of Saturday night.

Great bar, I might have been a little tipsy by the time I got there. I ordered a cider so I cant say how strong they poor. I vaguely remember there being a deal where we paid $2 on top of the cost of our drink for a cigar. If I am wrong I will modify the review. They had music and the band was popping. I tipped a few times and they ended up taking some requests.

Stogies is a go to bar for me in St. Augustine! Great vibes, tons of beer, amazing service all in a cozy but fun atmosphere. The music is always on point as well. They have fire pits outside which are a nice touch during the winter.

Beer, cigar and jazz. Good combo! I make s point top visor the bar every time I visit St Augustine. Sit outside but the fire. A LOT of craft beers available. There is also a sizable walk in humidor.Also, try the beer/cigar combo. Great value.

Was a nice and chill experience! The staff were so nice, great selection of drinks and cigars. Seating both inside, outside with a roof, and a nice area in the trees! Definitely recommend!

I have grown to LOVE this little bar. They have different beers on tap almost every day and theyve always got a unique selection. Theres inside and outside seating with a fire pit for the winter time. Theyve always got the best music with live music at night usually a jazzy type band. You can smoke cigarettes and cigars inside so I usually sit outside. They have a huge cigar room where you can buy cigars and I think its between 3-7 you get a free cigar with your 1st draft beer. Im a local of St Augustine and I reccomend this place. It looks rough from the outside but I promise you you wont regret stopping in for a beer.

I selfishly urge you to not come here. Its so perfect the way it is. Ive traveled alot of the world and this is my favorite bar on earth.Its the equivalent of the place Andy Duphraine in Shawshank Redemption was trying to escape for and create. It represents the most inclusive space for age, class and taste.Pleasant, easy going, local, mildly hidden, beautiful, accessible with wonderful local music and affordable drinks. Its worth a stop by at minimum.Downstairs is as cozy and welcoming as a neighbors front porch. Upstairs feels exclusive and private while still being open and accessible to everyone.The crowd varies but young and old, smokers and non of all stripes abound. Great music in an intimate space that pays local artists actual money is a reason, among many, to rally behind such a rare and special space.If your lucky enough to see the beauty of St Augustine, and need to find the local spot when it was that easy to find good people who embody hospitality, treat yourself to Stogies.

Super chill place, great beer selection and cigars

Excellent beers on tap (try the stout), good cigars, fine music.....whats not to like? They also found my cell phone that I dropped, and sent it back to me. Great atmosphere, nice people.

Did not like it. This is NOT a jazz club. It is a very small cigar bar. The Riesling that I had tasted like a chardonnay, I didnt care for it. We only stayed for about 15 - 20 minutes.

Nice place with lots of character. Very quaint and nostalgic. Great place to get together for drinks and smokes.I personally have allergies to smoking especially cigar smoke. So for that reason only I cant go back.Everyone else....have fun.

Such a neat place. Its located inside a house that is a few hundered years old where rumor has it that a woman was murdered and haunts it to this day.The employees are down to earth, large selection of craft beers (which include a complimentary cigar, hence the name stogies)... live music.They have a more intimate lounge upstairs and and outdoor seating area on the property, comlete with some fire pits!

My husband and I were celebrating our 4 year wedding anniversary this past weekend and decided to go for drinks at stogies Jazz Club. Very nice atmosphere great drinks and wonderful bartenders. When we go back to St Augustine again which we will at some point this is a most definite on our list of things to do. Thank you guys for helping us celebrate our anniversary!

I love this place! Always great choices in cigarsusic and they have a bar. Inside and outside and even an upstairs. Its a quaint place I highly recommend. Reminiscent of 30s era speak easys.

This is our favorite place to go when in St. Augustine. It is very lad back, the employees are knowledgeable and very helpful. I cant imagine this business not existing in this city specifically. Once visited, you will understand the enriching culture contained by establishments such as this is historic cities of the US.

Its a nice place to hang. If you go up stairs you can listen to the various ghost stories told by the ghost tours that come through. There is always a new ghost story I havent heard before.

Live music was awesome. Lots of outside seating for hanging out and enjoying your stogie. You can also enjoy your stogie inside, if thats your bag. Good selection of beers on tap.

I love the smell of Stogies, it reminds me of college. Cool bartenders and great atmosphere. Go if youre a local! Go if youre a tourist too, just dont be a jerk about it. 10/10.

Great place! Been here a few times when on vacation. They have a great cigar selection and lots of beer. Live music is always good and sometimes they have a campfire going.

Ideal for smoking your cigar indoors but I ordered a glass of wine and it came in a glass that was cracked from rim to stem returned it because of safety issues all the waiter did is pour the wine into another glass and seem perturbed he had to do it. That is why the two star rating. No customer care here.

Smoking and having a glass of wine in the same place is not what I am used to being from the socialist republic of NY. Enjoying a good cigar is what you will do here - without the nanny do gooders interrupting. Definitely recommend.

Nice small place to hang out, out front sitting area (with fire - cold weather) & inside small bar, Best Cigars you can buy in town. Skagg music & great listening, big crowds on the weekends Fri-Sat. IPAs on Tap, imported & domestic beers in bottle, college & tourist crowds.

Although Im not a cigar aficionado, I found their tap beer selection good and the outside seating area is great for non-smokers. The Kentucky Vanilla Barrel Cream Ale was delicious!

I dont smoke cigars, but the friends I made do and they LOVE Stogies. The gentleman playing music was leaving, but my new friends said he was very good.

If you are looking for an historic bar, you have found the right place. The house is typical of an old home from the early 1900s (maybe even earlier). The upstairs is neat for it has a hole in the floor that allows you to look down onto the dance floor.

Always loved stogies. I first visited Stogies in 1997. The owner Jeff is a great guy. And they have great live music and good smokes in a great atmosphere

Bartender horrible spent over $100 on cigars n beers in like 15 minutes with my buddies put about 5 pieces of wood on fire bartender waslike man dont burn all my wood up what a jerk he as to find a new career horrible customer service said he had been there 5 yrs time to go buddy. Next time I will bring them some wood . Get rid of him he worked on Wed nite March 22
