Ryse is legit! Just saw ATB and Kaskade here. ATB was an intimate party that is not to be mistaken as lame. kaskade was an over-the-top party that Ill never forget. Cant wait to kick it up a notch for Valentino Kahn! Keep bringing the talent Ryse. Im just sad I missed it when Bad boy Bill was here ways back and especially when he was with Richard Vission. Side note.....staff and venue was top notch! They bring in festival caliber talent that you get to see up close and intimate!
The trashy bar kicked me out after having a bit too much. I had booked a VIP reservation, and it was New Years Eve—I came out to enjoy a night of revelry. Otherwise, why would I bother going to a bar? Its truly terrible; everyone, please avoid it.
Worst experience ever. Security and staff was rude. Went there this weekend, paid for a VIP table, barely saw the waitress. Had to flag her down several times. People kept spilling drinks on us and the booth, staff didn’t care or seem to notice. The place was disgusting. So many spilled drinks on the floor it was like walking through puddles. Someone in my group was projectile vomited on by some drunk girl outside the bathroom, again staff wasn’t helpful. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else unless you enjoy wasting your money on an overpriced experience with awful service.
They only open when they have special events. I went to see Zedd and it was amazing. I’ve seen him 3 times now but never this close. It’s just like a Vegas club, just smaller. I loved the place, staff is friendly and everybody is courteous. I’m coming to see Benny Benassi later and I’m very excited. The only thing I didn’t like is that you can’t open a tab but it’s somewhat understandable.
I would rated O star if i could , very very bad services, as a bartender they don’t care about you, as a bouncer they for sure dont care about you, they will try to kick you out asap they can, i sister book a table she smoke vape so she got kickout but i didnt know, so i just followed her and went out to ask what’s going they said it’s passed the time to get back in, but my husband my coat and my purse still in there they would not let me get back back in to get my belongings. I think they trying to sneak and keep all to themself
Here for and EDM show and I wasn’t even in the door yet and was turned away for wearing edm attire. Which was not clearly stated when I purchased the tickets. Reading reviews after the fact and I should have done my research before coming here. Shame, won’t be back to any shows held here.
What was supposed to be the best night of the year for me turned out to be the worse! All thanks to the so called “security” at the ruse night club. Last night I was front a centered and had been waiting 4 hours for Paula d to come out.. all of a sudden he came out and everyone started pushing to the front like a stampede!! Absolutely no security up front at all just one guy standing in the booth with Paula D. My fave was be pressed against the small plexiglass at the front and my husband was trying to push people up off me (I was not the only one being shoved several people were) and then when I went to push thru this women (much bigger than me) punched me dead in the face. The so called “security “ in the booth seen it and did nothing. I went around the booth bc at this point I was done (or my heel was about to come off and I was going to wound some people) and as I’m trying to leave security would not let me thru.. as my nose is pouring out blood. I said please let me thru this girl just punched in the face so she could have my spot up front so he points to another guy and tells him to come deal with it. He comes over tells me “I can’t here you whatever happen if you don’t like it then leave)!! 400 dollars and 4 hours on my feet waiting for Pauly D and this is what I get. Yes I am filing a lawsuit!
This was my second time getting tickets to an event here, my first was several years ago but pretty good and I really enjoyed the show. Last night we wait in line to be let in for an hour and the first security guy checking out people standing in line let us know my boyfriend couldn’t wear his hat and to put it in his pocket. Totally fine. We get up to the guard checking ID’s and he tells my boyfriend he can’t come in wearing his cargo shorts. (Why didn’t the first guard tell us that?) So we go to their store and buy some athletic no pockets shorts. Go back up and get told no athletic shorts. Funny thing, the couple we came with who got let in right before us, the guy was wearing athletic shorts. And several other guys who had already been let in. We pointed this out and they lied to our faces how they didn’t let anyone in who had athletic shorts. Even when we pointed to the people. They just said no it isn’t the same. Said we could go to Walmart. Well that was no longer open so we had to miss the show. It just blew my mind how everyone else wearing them was okay but my boyfriend wasn’t. Me along with my friends won’t be returning to the club and I can’t say I’ll encourage anyone else either with what happened
Paid $100 for my friend and I to celebrate NYE here and we ended up being turned away since my friend wore joggers. They did not make this clear when we bought the tickets. I would understand if the dress code was posted and guests had a heads up. We waited in line for an hour and were told ten minutes before they started letting people into the club that we couldn’t go in and my friend had to change..it was 10pm so any stores that sold pants were closed. Waste of money.
Went once and had a blast. My biggest complaint is they aren’t open every weekend.. I put together a pretty large group (most coming from out of town/state) because most clubs are open every weekend and now we have to find something else last minute. It’s definitely my fault for assuming a night club is open every weekend, but still very odd… Perhaps the websites and their google page should specify “only open some weekends for scheduled bookings- see ticket master for available open nights and weekends”.. This club seems upscale and charges accordingly but does not meet the standards they are asking for in return. It’s not that hard to find willing and capable local djs. Perhaps then they wouldn’t have to charge as much and have some consistency with their operating times.
NYE here was very chaotic. Make certain to arrive early to avoid waiting in line for upwards of 45 minutes. When we finally walked through the doors, the EDM sets were wrapping up and swiftly replaced by remixes of conformist top 40 songs. To me, that’s not worth the money or wait. People were packed like sardines and a few started fights. At that point, the environment felt unsafe and required further security staff assistance than was available.
I enjoy the talent and the events are always fun BUT I was more than frustrated tonight when I was ignored and told to go to the back of the line despite being on the guest list. We literally waited in line for over an hour and when we finally made it to the front were, once again, scoffed at before they actually checked and low and behold my name WAS on the list (just as I said) no apologies were made or acknowledged by the staff. They actually acted like it was my fault they handled everything so poorly. Terrible customer service. Honestly. The worst. Wont be doing that again.
I paid $45 at the door to bring in the New Year 2020 which I didn’t mind. Every song the DJ played sounded similar to the last song. No variety whatsoever. No lyrics, just music. Everything else was great but DJ killed my vibe. Good thing the bartender kept the drinks rolling.
Best club in St. Louis! Definitely worth the travel as its a bit far from downtown and the place i stay. But the past part is the amazing DJs that play here. Recently Alan walker played and was just amazing! Even the bar is pretty good and is not that over priced. They got a pretty big dance floor! So put on your dancing shoes!
People are still allow to smoke inside the club, on top of the smoky sparkler things on bottles. It was a Great show but i spent 2 days sick cause of the smoke. The smoke handler, if they had any , where not keeping up with the crowd. Only relief was when they did that burst of fog from ceiling which Clear the air. Also did not appreciate ticket saying 9 pm and not opening dance doors to 10:30, the act I came to see did not start to 1am, the ticket should of read 1am .
One of the coolest night clubs Ive ever been to. I went here for the first time to see Slander and they killed it! One of the best clubbing experiences Ive ever had!
Definitely the best nightclub in St. Louis. Awesome sound, incredlbe venue, and very impressive talent that comes through here every week.Wish the place was a bit more accessible. Even at peak hours the club wasnt as packed as anywhere else. Drink prices are pretty crazy.Nonetheless had an amazing time here and definitely a must-go for EDM lovers.
I have been having fun here since my early twenties, the atmosphere, the sound, and the djs are amazing. However, last night we ordered drinks at the bar in the lounge area and the guy read our order back to us and never made the drinks. He was of course taking everyone’s order next to us that was getting $100 worth of shots and wearing $300 sunglasses. Rude, we went to the bar inside the club and got served immediately. You can no longer smoke inside so we had to walk out of the club to the casino area. When I came back in they made me open my prescription bottle of pills and look in it with a flashlight to make sure “all the pills were the same.” I said yes, they are it’s steroids for a viral infection. I understand their concern with drug use but really? I was offended that this even happened. They also kicked someone I know out because he was “having too much fun.” I think you need to re-evaluate your employees. Let’s be real, people aren’t putting joints in cigarette packs and molly in pill bottles 🙄🙄
Been here numerous times. Music is always great. Never had any problems in the past. My wife and I went to see Morgan Page and wanted to meet him after the show. The club was still filled with 200+ people and security literally pushed me away despite the other people waiting to talk to him. They didnt first ask me to leave or step back, they put their hands on me and pushed me back. Very disrespectful
Music was great, bar was great, dance floor was a lot of fun, but the bouncers made my friend and I VERY uncomfortable. Also they should be a little more specific about the dress code this venue has that people may be unaware of
Beautiful venue. Over charge for acts that take 4 hours to take the stage. Mediocre opening DJs. Sell tickets beyond capacity. Audio production is TERRIBLE; my ears bled. They need to run sound checks and hire better talent for the headliners they book.
Went to a Pauly D meet and greet and waited an additional 45 minutes to get a picture that took 2 seconds to take. Not only was the event not planned but the pictures were never posted and no one is responding to messages about where the pictures are. My friends and I paid $80 for this meet and greet and it was a complete scam and we can’t even get our money back. NEVER AGAIN.
WORST SERVICE EVER! We bought a table and our waitress rarely came to serve us. We had to go to the bar multiple times and wait in line, after paying so much for a table. Then we were hassled by the security guard, it’s like he had a chip on his shoulders. We were in town for a convention but I would not recommend wasting a trip to here from downtown.
If you’re looking for an amazing Las Vegas-like nightclub experience without actually having to go all the way to Vegas, this is the spot. Top talent is always being booked every Saturday! The crowd is always lit and radiates good vibes!
I will say there drinks are very expensive but besides that the music and bass is spot on! One of the bartenders kelly was nice and knew how to pour her drinks, she was always smiling and up on her feet when someone needed a drink. I will go here again but will make sure I am prepared to spend a good amount of money to drink.
I was at the Pauly d concert last night and let me just say I am so disappointed! Spent $120 for me and two friends to attend and we couldnt even stay at the event. The crowd is ridiculous especially for the little amount of security that was on hand! We were in the front and the amount of times I was trampled was crazy! My sister and i were repeatedly grabbed and thrown down, intentionally kicked, and having our jewelry ripped off! As all this was going on I saw fights break out, other women being trapped and thrown to the ground. All while two security guards stood there..I will never attend another show there again.
This place claims EDM every sat night, name brand djs but it was top 40 b.s. and generic house music. 10/10 will not be back. Sad cause the club was beautiful. Drove 4 hours stayed 45 min and went to Dennys. This place for people who want the club experience but know nothing about the music.
No food....but tons of drinks
Great big city nightclub feel with DJs that have no business otherwise being here. St. Louis would never be able to attract these kinds of acts without this sort of venue and Im eternally grateful to Ryse for that. Only critique is I wish some new DJ names would pass through and I wish it were open Friday if even for smaller local DJs. One night just isnt enough.
Great music . Friendly and efficient bartenders and amazing atmosphere. I really like this club there is a small room adjoining the dance floors with old fashioned decor that’s very comfy and has couches when you want to relax from the dancing and want to rest a bit. They get awesome DJs too
I have NEVER experienced service at a higher level. I have been to nightclubs across the country, and i live in Las Vegas. BUT, I was blown away by the hospitality if the VIP experience. I had sent a Facebook message to the admin of the page, asking if I could bring my most prized possession, a Ghetto Blaster boombox, with me into the club to see one of my favorite DJs, Bad Boy Bill. My wife and I had our first date at BBB in 2003, and I wanted to get it signed. They escorted me and my party to the VIP area where the boombox would be secured until we got to have a private meet and greet with the artist. He autographed it, took some photos with me, AND I even got to play your the best around from the Karate Kid soundtrack to pump him up for the show. I will be back.... for sure!
Have been to many nightclubs across the world. I am thankful we have a nightclub of this caliber around St. Louis. There are still many people who follow progressive trance and house and this club caters to that audience too. Tiesto performance ranks right up there. Been there few times. Love the ambience. Keep bringing the international DJs.To the administrators : Would love to see deadmaus, above and beyond, axwell ingrosso, hardwell, Eric prydz, Paul van dyk, skrillex.
What a waste! DJ was good the, the wait staff was good, room was great, but there were 12 people there at 11pm on a SATURDAY! So some advertising people, maybe get some go go dancers.
Smallish club built specifically for DJs. You wont find a typical rock n roll show here. That being said, if youre in to EDM, dubstep, house, etc this will be your new home in the Saint Louis area. Big name DJs every Saturday night! Only open Saturdays
Excellent small club. Enjoyed the facilities and the setup. Great to be able to see the DJ perform up close. I look forward to going back to RYSE again.
I love Ryse, favorite club ever
My buddy got kicked out for being “too drunk” when there were at least 10 other people on the dance floor who were way more drunk than he was, and they got to stay. 0/10 would not recommend.
The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable.
Staffing/security very unprofessional I have noticed every time I’m there
Had the best time ever last night. The music and dancing was so cool. Stayed out way late! Totally worth it!
Will never go back, went there got a vip booth January 11 for Cedric garvales dj and they kicked out one of my friend 20 min in so pretty much lost about 650.00 in 20 min will never go back
Have one out of all their bars open with bartenders that are not fit for serving the amount of people. It’s supposed to be a high class club that you pay $25 dollars entrance for.
Saw Sickick here and was very happy with the venue and the performance.
Size, sound, bar, djs, all great.. And this place is steered toward higher end and class so the people complaining about the dress code should really understand that.
They are only open once a month, but google says open on Saturdays. 2 Stars - couz so that they can update timings correctly.
Wonderful sound system, efficient bartenders, and an overall respectful crowd. Saw DROELOE here and loved it.
Awful place, terrible service, and their dress code is quite presumptious. If youre looking for a good time avoid this place at all costs.
What it gained in intimacy of space it more than lost by being overly corporate. Also the dance floor was super sticky.
Here at 1:00 in the morning and nothing but Techno music and no body on the dance floor. Bar was good but DJ was awful.
Great time.Get there early and hold your place!
Great atmosphere and activity. Only open on Saturday night though. Should also be open on Friday.
Make sure you check the dress code because you can only wear shorts there certain times of the year.
Never open so please take it off google
Needs some lasers
Nice place, definitely a nice intimate venue for shows
Great club. Id give it 5 ⛥s if it wasnt in St Charles....
Great place. The best clubbing scene in St Louis.
Unequivocally the best in STL metro. Great sound and lighting.
Good for those who love crowed public places.go nuts
Best night club in Saint Louis !!!
Great place thst gets lit
As lame as lame gets
Very bad attitude front desk
Is the nightclub open this Saturday???
Wonderful experience.
