Asian Essence Spa - St. Charles

I wanted a massage and everywhere else was either closed or booked for a Saturday night. I was able to get an appointment here and I’m so glad I did. I booked a deep tissue massage and was not disappointed! Everything was clean and my massage therapist was professional and kind. I was very relaxed and happy with my overall experience here! 10/10 recommend. I think I’m going to cancel my massage envy membership… :)

I was at the St. Charles location today for a scalp massage. I am very disappointed with the service I received. The massage was very rushed in the sense that every movement was very fast. It was not relaxing at all. A comb was brought through each section of my dry hair once and then that was it. The dome scalp tool was run through my hair three times. A tool with nubs on it was run through the top of my head twice. My hair was washed but no massaging of my actual scalp. When what I assume was conditioner was put in, the comb was run through my hair once but other wise no massaging of my scalp. There was a moment with a facial steam that I was not expecting and it was so intense it was hard to breathe. More time was spent blow drying my hair and trying to take out and put away some element under the bed than I feel like anything else. On top of this, doors were constantly being slammed and the doorbell kept going off loudly throughout the hallway. I enjoyed the scents of everything but that was about it. I hope these are some issues you can work out as I was really looking forward to this massage.

Olivia is amazing! Came in today to try the scalp treatment and it was fantastic. All of the products felt and smelled amazing. Olivia did a great job with every step and making sure I was comfortable the whole time. Most relaxed spa experience Ive ever had ill definitely be back

This place is amazing. The couples Swedish massage was very much needed. We didn’t realize how tight we were until the session was over. I would recommend anyone to give it a try. They are not located downtown but it is easy to find and well worth the time. We will be back.

Hubby & I had the hour long couples Swedish massage. Everything about it was awesome. They did great work! Loved the essential oil massage so much! Felt fantastic as we left. Everyone was friendly, the music & lighting very soothing. We look forward to going again.

Went in for couples masaage, I personally got a deep tissue massage and it was fantastic. The masseuse was very good and spent more time on my lower back since I have been suffering from lower back pain. Good place, friendly staff and overall experience. I feel rejuvenated!, will be back in the future!

I love Asian Essence Spa! They are so nice and provide such a wonderful experience. I work as an electrician and have hypermobility issues which cause me to have deep achy and extremely tight muscles. I have been to so many masseuses over the years to find a deep tissue massage that would bring me relief. Fida is BY FAR THE BEST deep tissue masseuse I’ve EVER experienced. I’ve been going to her exclusively for the past two years on a two to four week basis and she is consistent and on point each time. On top of it she is so sweet and brightens my day each time I go in.Whichever location you go to, you’ll love Asian Essence Spa!

Went for the couples massage. It was an amazing experience. We had the Swedish Massage. The ladies that did our massage were very friendly. Definitely felt very relaxed during and afterwards. Will be going back.

The deep tissue massage was very good. The room however was cold and only a smaller see through sheet was provided. No robes were given and I did not get my dry sauna time I paid for. It was a slightly awkward experience as they didn’t seem to know what my appointment was for.

Showed up and the lady at the front was very confused when I told her we had an appointment for a couples massage she used translator to tell us “she didn’t have time” after she called someone and they explained we had an appointment. We were taken to a room and handed a change of clothes with no explanation what to do. After changing went in the Sauna which was nice, but the shower after was unpleasant. Floors of the shower have not been cleaned and everything was water stained. The whole experience there was no communication with the lady working because of the language barrier. The massage was very weird as she focused mainly on my behind which made me uncomfortable but I could not communicate that because of the language barrier. Bad experience will not come back.

My daughter and I did the scalp massage treatment and omg….. incredible !!! The staff was so friendly and I had Olivia and she made me feel amazing! Highly recommend this spa!!

My wife and I make a point to go here as often as possible because our experience is always AMAZING! We always leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. The spa has a very relaxing and clean atmosphere and the employees are always very professional. We almost always schedule the same day and have never had issues getting an availability. Definitely recommend!

Had a GREAT time! Went with my mom for a couples Zen message. Olivia and yuyu were very experienced and did the job well. Very clean!, very nice and friendly and a great location. Felt very relaxed and definitely planning on coming back especially with my family!

This place is amazing! The service was phenomenal. They took their time explaining all the services to me and helped me find the one which would be most beneficial to me. The massage itself was great!! The facility was very clean and calming. Will be back and defintley recommend.

The room was very clean and invigorating. Personnel is super friendly and attentive. The massage was heavenly. Hands down one of the best massages I have had. The massage intensity is cater to your level of tolerance. Just an overall great experience! Will be visiting again!!

I had the lymphatic massage with Olivia. It was hands down THE BEST massage I’ve ever had. She is very professional and knowledgeable. My neck hasn’t felt this great in years. Would definitely recommend and will be back. The spa is brand new so still in progress, I would call to make reservations instead of online reservation.

My partner and I went to the Aurora location monthly but they shut down recently so the woman on the phone recommended this location since they only have 2 locations now. We went to St Charles location today and it was amazing. They focus on your back and undo knots all over your body. One of the BEST massages you’ll ever have. The ladies who massage you are truly knowledgeable in helping reduce body pain. It definitely makes a difference. This location is also beautiful! Lots of parking. It’s a plus that they also have a dry sauna in addition. Happy and will be back monthly!

Not a good place to go to the massage was not good at all and the girls spoke no English and then she tried not to give me my change I gave her $200 The massage was supposed to be $110 and then she tried to keep the change and then when I told her about it, she told me oh the tip is included that I have to tip her $90 like why would I give you a $90 tip for one of the worst massages I’ve ever had in my life I would definitely rate this place as zero star if I could she just wanted to keep my money definitely will never return here and don’t recommend it

This is my third time coming up! Olivia is so friendly and supportive! The girl she recommended to me was so good! I always got back harts so it’s really important to find a good massage place for myself! I would recommend everyone come to here to give them a try!And the inside is really beautiful and clean by the way!!!

I stopped in for a walk in. Was a very clean and welcoming space. I was able to get in right away. I had a deep tissue massage and let me tell you, it was amazing. It was thorough and well done. Finished with some great stretches and head/face massage. Didn’t want it to end! Will be coming back for sure.

Great relaxing spot in St. Charles. Ive been to the Lombard location before for a massage. This one is excellent as well. I had some lingering back pain and it vanished. Afterwards, I enjoyed some time in their dry sauna. I felt instant relief and came out feeling light and decompressed. Ill be back soon!

Olivia was amazing. I booked my appointment last minute and she is able to make it happened. And the message is incredible and the environment is so relax. Definitely would come again.

I do crossfit five days a week and I get extremely sore after five days in a row. I go here and leave always feeling better. I would recommend because it’s extremely clean and a great deal.

I have an impingement in my left shoulder and cuff, and my range of motion is limited. I got a full hour massage on my shoulder and upper left back and it really helped. 5 stars
