Everything about Tequila Town was amazing. I went here with my mom on a Friday for lunch. It was very quiet when we went but I expect that on the weekends and nights it is a lot busier. My mom had the Street Tacos with birria beef which she absolutely loved. The sauces that came with them was amazing. I had the Burrito Mexicano which was also amazing! All the food tasted very fresh especially their salsa! Diego was our server and he did an amazing job helping us feel welcome and find good options! Definitely will be stopping in again as there is so much there to try!
100% authentic! I grew up in CA including time spent in SoCal. Some of the menu items are the kinds of things you would see in street food or at tiny down-home restaurants with six tables or being invited to a Mexican friend home for dinner. Saint Cloud, you will not find fresher, more authentic Mexican food unless you go to Mexico or Southern California. I believe even the tortillas are made fresh. Great prices also. My favorite are the Carnitas street tacos. This food transports me. Sunshine, palm trees, surfers, And this beautiful California comfort food made with love
Tried out the new restaurant in downtown tonight. Tequilatown Club and Latín Cusine. The Gasca family is creating amazing things here! The atmosphere, staff, and food was beyond excellent!Salsa with the perfect amount of spice!Tamales and Chimichangas Supremas were so good! We will absolutely be back!Check it out!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Highly recommend!
My husband Bryan and my Brother and Sister-in-law from Houston went to Tequila Town tonight. Food, service and overall experience was outstanding! We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great Mexican food!
The food was very, very good. Ive had better margaritas out of a can, though. We had to interrupt a servers dinner (at 6:15pm) to get a waiter to our table after being seated for 15+ minutes. Overall, Im hoping the service was just a growing pains issue. The food was very good-- everyone at our table really enjoyed their meals. We all kind of laughed at how comically bad the service was, however.
Not a good experience. We went at noon on a Sunday. Nobody around... had to search for employees. Dead silent in the restaurant...eerily awkward for a Mexican restaurant. Husband tried to order an IPA, and they only serve those downstairs (downstairs not open). I ordered a blended margarita... and it was like a soupy concentrate concoction.... no ice used in the drink. We left and opted for lunch down the road instead. Better service, music, and more attention to the beverage quality/offerings can go a long way.
I will not go anywhere else anymore when I want an AUTHENTIC, and ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC Mexican meal!!! Im serious! The flavors, aroma, melt-in-your-mouth tender meats, and freshness of vegetables, guacamole, salsa, and presentation is second to NONE! St.Cloud needed a place like this, and the staff couldnt be nicer! Generous portions, and very reasonable pricing! I ordered a dish that had chicken, pork, and steak with peppers, and onions served in a cored out pineapple 1/2..... I cannot rave about it enough, you just gotta try it, to believe it!
The salsa is delicous. The burrito was huge and very flavorful. One of my favorite mexican restaurants. Great job. Was stuffed halfway through.****UPDATEThis is now the third time being there. First was awesome. Second time the beans and sour cream were forgotten. Told them they did nothing.3rd time my order was wrong. They didnt offer a discount or an apology. They just remade the order. It was plentiful and tasty other than the shell was soggy. Not sure that we will be returning. The service is very slow. And literally we were the only ones in the restaurant
What a fun addition to downtown St. Cloud, in such a beautiful historical space. The food is delicious and you can tell its prepared with care! A great 3rd floor experience right in our own backyard that offers great drinks, appetizers and tons of choices for Mexican cuisine!
Enjoyed a wonderful meal, great service and exceptional Texas Margarita. I had shrimp and pineapple enchiladas with mango habanero salsa - still thinking about it the next day! You have to go up a couple flights of stairs right now but definitely worth the climb.
Ordered a lunch taco salad and a chicken burrito. The taco salad was only 1/3 full with the ingredients... The taco shell was great.. but the lack of ingredients was disappointing... I have never had a taco salad less than half loaded... its usually to the top or close! The chicken burrito was literally shredded DRY chicken with NOTHING else in it. You are expected to put the rest of the entree with each bite instead of making it an all inclusive normal burrito. My husband is not usually picky AT all.. he had difficulty eating this burrito. Flavors are not bad, but they are not great either. If I could say one word about this place it would be meh. We make Mexican cuisine at our house all the time and buying out at this place makes you rethink how you should have just made it at home.
All of the food was alright, outside of the beef on 4/12. The ground beef was the most salty ground beef from a Mexican restaurant Ive ever had. Beans and rice were good, but the ground beef in the burrito was inedible due to the amount of salt. Will go back again because things were fresh, and Im hopeful for a better experience, but the unbelievable amount of salt on the ground beef tonight, made me throw half of it away. Update: Had this again in late May 2024, it was worse than before. Less salt, but the taco shells were incredibly stale, and the rest of the meal was favorless. Do not recommend.
Food was flavorful, hot and delicious. Textures and flavors were well defined and distinct. My drinks were delish, and I enjoyed the ambiance of the old building. Definitely not another corporate restaurant and its so refreshing. Servers were very friendly too.
Incredible food & service. Be patient, they are still getting in the swing of things. The salsa they serve with the complimentary chips is so delicious. Street tacos were amazing!
I really did want to like this given it is not a chain restaurant, and we need more of these. Unfortunately, the flavor of our dishes were incredibly lacking. I felt like the rice had no flavor and tasted like straight white rice. The chimichangas also had no flavor, except for the queso on top. The chips and salsa were by far the most flavorful of our dinner. I am unsure if this is homemade or store-bought salsa. I did ask if the margarita was housemaid or if the mix was premade. I was told by our server that it was housemate. However, my Plane margarita on the rocks came out neon green. I am unsure if anything that is housemaid comes in a neon green color. I am not saying that it is not housemaid, but I’m thinking this is unlikely given the neon color. My friends quesadilla was unlike any I have ever seen. I have eaten authentic Mexican food before. Her quesadillas came out in fried corn Tortilla shells. She ultimately took out what was inside and ate that alone. Again, quite un flavorful. In regards to pricing, the dishes are reasonable. However, their signature drinks are close to $20 apiece. Personally, I would not pay that. The atmosphere is OK. They will need to have the elevator working for more people to have access to it. The stairwell is also tricky and can be quite daunting for someone who has balance issues, or who is quite young or old. Unfortunately, I do not see this restaurant surviving long, unless they do price modification for their drink menu, improve flavors on their dishes, and make their readily available to the public.
Excellent food, good portions, prices and service. We have been here several times. Street tacos is our primary order but other items have been delicious, including dessert.
Chips are good but salsa tastes like tomato juice. Food lacks flavor and is bland and dry. Drinks are limited. Very hot up there specially after walking up three flights of stairs.
Best Authentic Mexican food in St Cloud!! Salsa, queso, bean tacos, and margaritas were excellent! Highly recommend!!
Stair way to chimichanga heaven! Absolutely the best chimichanga in town. Crispy with the perfect amount of sauce. The Tamales were flavorful. Service was fast, polite and helpful. Will be returning!
The food here is authentic Mexican. Everything tastes spectacular. The margaritas are wonderful!
The old.builidng it is in is great, but it is quite a hike upstairs through several other bars and restaurants without signage. Service was ok, but food was very bland.Margarita was ok.
Fun to be back inside this beautiful building. The walk up the 3 flights stairs is worth it.. Great service ..fun atmosphere. Great food!
We had lunch at tequila town in St Cloud. Great service, Fernando was an excellent server and the food was the best latin cuisine I have had in a long time. Will be back!!!

Great food at a decent price. Will definitely be coming back!
Had the fajitas and chicken chimichanga. Beef was tough and the chicken had a seafood flavor. Much better in town already
Very cute place with good customer service. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food this is a great option.
The food & staff are great. However, climbing up to the 3rd floor to eat doesnt cut it.
Great food and atmosphere! We will definitely be back!
