Best spa to celebrate a friends birthday. We were greeted with a warm towel to wash our hands. Then put on our cozy robes & slippers, head to the lounge room with snacks & drinks. We all agreed, best relaxing massages we have ever had. We would all recommend Woodhouse Spa in Woodbury, Mn.

I wasnt going to address the issue but after submitting feedback directly to Woodhouse and never receiving a response I thought it best to share our experience here.I took my husband here for a surprise date. Overall it is a great facility and staff were all friendly and accommodating. But unfortunately my husbands experience was the opposite of mine. During our couples massage, his masseuse had long nails that were digging into his skin. As someone who has massage experience one of the top rules for being a masseuse is to always keep your nails trimmed for this very reason.He mentioned to her during the massage to ease up but did not mention it was because of her nails, not the pressure being applied until after I paid and we left.He asked me to look at his neck as he was in pain and he had long deep red marks all along his neck and upper back. I was so disappointed since this was supposed to be a surprise and a chance to get away and relax. For the amount of money I paid including tip I expected a lot more and will not be returning. If a manager or owner is reading this please address this to your staff members to avoid this from happening again.

The staff and the atmosphere are wonderful! Myself and my sister were having massages by Alex and Anny and both of them were amazing and did a fantastic job! Simply the best ever! The place itself was very inviting, relaxing, calm, comfortable and clean. Everyone was super friendly, welcoming and attentive! We had a great experience and the service was a top notch! Highly recommend this spa and definitely will be coming back!❤️

Had my first experience at Woodhouse Spa and purchased the Head to Toe package. It started with a massage, facial, and pedicure. It was very clean, staff was helpful and kind, and services were performed very well. Will be returning.

Loved the whole experience! My husband gifted me the massage session here and its totally worth the money and time. Husbands out there, gift your wives with the sessions here! I did head to toe package and my body feels refreshed entirely. Their massage therapists are very professional and will find the right spot, where to massage. I will definitely come back.

I absolutely love Woodhouse Spa! If youre looking for a facial, I would highly recommend getting one with Judy!! She is the best and is so sweet and thorough, I am always appreciative of how my skin looks and feels after my appointments with her. The overall experience at Woodhouse is incredible. From the comfy robes and relaxing sitting room that is stocked with beverages and snacks to the amazing service I receive, I wouldnt imagine going anywhere else!

Very calming, and relaxing environment from the moment you walk in the Door! Everyone there was so welcoming.. the atmosphere inviting; the only things I feel need better attention to is the women’s “ dressing room” could be tended to more .. with prompt filling the hand soap when Empty and clearing the area of glasses, robes and slippers etc, left by previous guests. The Bathroom left a lot to be desired compared to the rest of the areas, as well as a lack of cleanliness in there. I would go back however

Thank you for making mother’s day very special! My sister and I took my mother here for her first spa experience. It was my first time too. We loved it! My mother does a lot farming and labor so this was very wonderful to just unwind and relax. My mother almost fell asleep during her body massage! Morgan took great care of my mom during her pedicure. Heather was so gentle with her touch. Everyone was nice and welcoming. Im glad they don’t book too many around the same times so it felt more zen and private. Well worth the experience.

The atmosphere and staff are nothing short of heavenly. I truly love how kind and soft spoken the front of house staff are and the dim lights, quiet music, fluffy robes, and light refreshment make for a relaxing experience.That being said, the masseuses they have on staff dont seem to understand what a light touch is. Ive been in for two sessions now with completely different massage therapists and have asked for a light touch in specific areas, politely saying thats too hard only to be met with a sarcastic comment of thats too hard? As if I was being a baby for not being able to tough it out. But I feel the repercussions of them not listening the next day with extreme soreness and pain, the exact opposite of why I got to a spa in the first place.For the most part, the massages feel great! But for the price of the experience and the fact that Im not listened to during the massages... I dont really plan on returning.

Best spa in the area. I have been here several times and the spectacular guest service is consistent every time, no matter who helps you. Extremely professional and high standards throughout the entire visit. Thank you so much!

I decided that I wanted to treat myself to a spa day for my birthday. I heard great things about Woodhouse, so I gave it a try.Pros: The service is definitely top notch! Very friendly staff, and very helpful. I liked that they called me to confirm my appointment. They asked if I was celebrating anything and also asked about what I was hoping to get out of my experience. The check-in process was a breeze, and I felt like they really personalized my visit. The rooms are AMAZING and very relaxing! I like how they had the waiting room set up - a nice calm space to begin your relaxation before your service begins. The robe was very comfy as well. The best part was that I got to go back to the waiting room after all of my services and continue relaxing until I was ready to go.Cons: I was disappointed to learn that they discontinued the service I originally booked. I didnt find out until I got my reminder email. I would have thought someone would have called to tell me, but no one did. Not only did they change the service, but there was a price increase. Upon checking in the day of I learned that corporate made the decision to change their services and add a price increase. They also instructed employees not to say anything, which I thought was horrible. However, they did honor the service I originally booked as well as the price.Overall I had a really great experience. It is pretty pricey but worth every penny! I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were nice and the massages were very relaxing. We had a great time.

I came in for the Calming Retreat, and was even able to get a same day appointment!!! My service was excellent with Alex. He told me about the different steps and made sure to ask me about anything that hurt and pressure levels I like. He took great care of me. My favorite part was probably the hand and foot massages, you never think about how tight your feet are!The absolute only thing is that the description of the service includes a scalp massage, and he didnt do a scalp massage. It ended up being fine, he spent longer on other aspects and the overall time of the service was reached (110 minutes of feeling AWESOME), but I do love a good scalp massage. I just wish hed said something like theres a lot of tension in your shoulders, do you want me to spend more time there? because it felt weird to say, hey, what about the scalp massage?! at the end and I just wasnt going to do that. Not the end of the world, and I feel amazing, but for someone else it may be the one thing they were really looking forward to. If its listed in the description, you should do it, even if its just a minute or two to check that box.

I’m a longtime client and can’t recommend this Woodhouse more strongly. Front staff is always lovely and helpful and every therapist I’ve had is truly talented. Although pricey I’ve never regretted it. And it’s the only way I survived my pregnancy! :)

Beautiful and relaxing place to get a massage! Right from the moment you enter, the peaceful room is so calm and welcoming. We get our own lockers, robes, shoes, and goodies. The massage beds are warm and comfortable. My massage therapist Darienne was amazing! Pressure was perfect for me and I felt so relaxed. I melted into that bed. I just wish it was longer! Will definitely have to go back.

I was a little disappointed with my trip to Woodhouse today. I had booked a couples massage for my birthday and did not have a locker assigned to me (so no robe or spa sandals, either) though my significant other had one assigned to him. I was also referred to as Jennifer more than once and no acknowledgment of the birthday booking. Not quite the level of service I expect from Woodhouse. I will say the massage was great.

It was my first time getting a massage and Macayla did a wonderful job. She was very patient and made sure she asked what my concerns were and focused on those areas. Would definitely come back again!

Had a mani pedi with Heather that was 10/10. Her patience and attention to detail was wonderful. Nails looked great, just the look I wanted. Will be returning! 🌸

Maternity massage was very relaxing. I have had 3 so far this pregnancy, and they really leave me feeling great.

Great experience with Maina. The greeting associate was nice and welcoming . After massage was done I enjoyed the quiet spa room with hot tea. I would definitely come back again. The only small feedback I observed is that the restroom/dressing rooms is missing a table or chair to change and they could be cleaner/sanitized, especially the floors. Also would suggest signs to know where to place the used robes and sandals. Otherwise, highly recommend this place!

The facial I received was a definite 5 stars; the massage was, sadly, less than one star. I receive massages at a different place on a regular basis so feel I know what a good massage is.The guy who did my service here was one of the worst! The room was cold, the massage table was jerky, he applied far too much pressure- (I did tell him to reduce the pressure); and my biggest pet peeve- he sniffed constantly throughout the session! Yuk! Go blow your nose!!! I was more tense in the massage room than I was outside it. I actually told him to stop and ended it before my time was up as I was so uncomfortable.I don’t feel I should have had to pay; but the gal at the desk said she did not have that authority and that someone will contact me- I hope they do.

Went there last year to finally use the nice gift my son and daughter-in-law got me. Had a manicure, pedicure with Ashley and full facial with Ally. Both did a great job and really enjoyed my time there! Fun conversations with Ashley as well! :) Would recommend!

A superb spa experience! The masseuse was very considerate for areas needing extra care, upon request. Relaxing and clean lounge / rest area with very hospitable staff. Worth the visit!

The most comfortable and relaxing atmosphere I have been in at a spa. Its quiet, zen, and so so comfortable. The shoes and robes are great quality, the staff is friendly and super accommodating. They have plenty of snacks, water, and a large variety of sparkling water. Perfect spa day. I did a massage, facial, and pedi package and would definitely recommend to others.

Jenna does a great deep tissue massage! Definitely worth the splurge. Facility is always clean and calming.

This was my first time coming here and the atmosphere is great and inside is beautiful, but honestly for the price that is charged for pedicure i’d say it’s waaay to much, you are better off at any nail place as they actually clean the feet good. (will post a pic) hydrofacial felt great but dang the amount of product gets used, I don’t think it’s needed( hence prob the price ) I have a European background and have gotten pedis and manis and the quality doesn’t compare. Def nice to get out but pricing is just way too much in my opinion.

I was thrilled to use my gift card from my maid of honor gift, so I recently booked an appointment at Woodhouse Spa. Despite the high praise from my sister, I found the experience very underwhelming. The receptionists were welcoming, leading me to the locker room where I received a warm robe, slippers, Lindt truffle, and a drink – a nice touch. However, even with my gift card, the overall cost was quite high, and unfortunately, the massage didnt live up to the $300 value. As someone who regularly gets massages, Ive experienced better at a third of the price. Although I spoke with the regional manager, their offer to entice me back wasnt compelling—only offering me a very slight discount for another full service. While it might be worth checking out once, Im uncertain about booking again in the future.

Convenient location and very friendly staff. Unfortunately I was a little underwhelmed by the mani/pedi. The services are pricey but dont come with most of the bells and whistles youd expect at a spa. I did like that the room where nails are done is very quiet (only 3 seats) which made it much more relaxing than the large open salons I have been to.

My first experience at Woodhouse was a 50-minute massage with Alex. It exceeded my expectations - Alex was responsive to areas I wanted to focus on and the pressure was spot on. I am so excited to come back!

Had an absolutely amazing experience at the Woodhouse Woodbury spa. I don’t think I could write enough about the attention to detail, service, and overall experience. I had the seasonal manicure, dry brushing, mood soak and ended with a massage. The manicure was outstanding and the dry brush made my skin silky soft. The mood soak in room was unreal. The massage ended up being around 20 minutes so something to be aware of if you book a soak and massage, but overall an amazing spa day.

The aesthetic was beautiful. the masseuse was amazing! his massage pressure was consistent and adjusted well when you provide feedback. my boyfriend booked this place for our anniversary. they know how to make the small details shine for our celebration. highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a massage and we will be returning soon!

What an incredible experience! From the moment you walk in the door the amazing aromatherapy smells are intoxicating. As a plus size woman it meant the world to me that they had robes in my size. That is one of those small yet really important details that go along way. All of your staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable. Teresa did a phenomenal job. I felt pampered and spoiled and it was exactly what I needed. I will definitely be back again. I have gotten hundreds of massages For well over 20 years and this was a top three experience.

I went for my first facial. Judy explained everything. She made sure I was comfortable. She was engaging, kind and helpful.

Great experience whether if it’s by yourself or a friend! They have a waiting room for you to stay in prior and after your session. Which I love because if you continue to want to remain in the “zen vibe” then you have the space to stay for a little longer. The only thing I wish could be different is the private restrooms in the changing/ locker room. It does get wet on the floor from others taking a shower and walking around with their wet sandals. It made me unsure of how to change since there wasn’t much hooks for me to set my clothes and I didn’t want it to get dirty from the floor. Regardless, I’m still coming back! Staff were calm which settled the mood!

What an incredible experience! This spa is absolutely stunning and my first massage there will definitely not be my last. I had a sports massage with Alex, it was exactly what I needed for some trouble areas due to sports related pain. Their facilities and amenities are really beautiful - excellent idea for a gift for someone!

I was given a gift certificate for Christmas and used it for the Head to Toe package and added a manicure to my services. I enjoyed 4 hours of pure relaxation with the best massage of my life with Bae. I will definitely return in the future.

I was so excited to go spend the afternoon here that my husband and kids got me for christmas. After my experience here I was thoroughly disappointed about this place. The ladies at check-in were nice and got me to the back into my warm robe. They showed me the relaxing room. It is nice in there but not very comfy. The chairs are more for looks than for comfort. They have two lay down chairs but the room was always full so it is very hard to get them. The package I got for christmas was the complete transformation package. My pedicure was relaxing and great. It was nothing to special. My manicure was not pleasant at all. They dont soak your hands in warm water before they start cleaning up your cuticles. It hurt when they cleaned up and cut off my cuticles. For someone that gets a massage every month, my tranquil stone massage was terrible. One I never got stones during my massage, all I got was a lady rubbing my back either with her whole hand up and down my back or her knuckles in my trap. She never massaged my actual muscles. I was really looking forward to the stone massage as I never had one. My HydraFacial was the only thing I really enjoyed at this place. Despina was amazing and would recommend her to anyone. She was also very knowledgeable on what would help your skin and things you should add into your daily skin routine. If I were to go back, I would go see only Despina for the HydraFacial. For the amount of money my husband spent on this package for me, it was not worth it. I can get a mani and pedi for over half the cost that is fully relaxing and not painful. I can also get a massage for a fourth of the cost. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone besides to get a HydraFacial by Despina.

Woodhouse Spa is the perfect relaxing place! I saw Kendra for a maternity massage and she was absolutely amazing. She listened to all my problem areas and focused on those spots. I felt absolutely wonderful after seeing her. As a pregnant woman, aches and pains are common and after seeing her, I feel SO much relief. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Kendra and Woodhouse Spa Woodbury for such a healing and amazing experience.

My first visit to Woodhouse Spa was PHENOMENAL. I booked the Meditative Mood Soak with Deep Tissue and Stone enhancements and left feeling the most relaxed I’ve felt in years! Staff were welcoming and go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable during your visit. The space itself is beautiful and designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. I will definitely be back!

I was in a lot of pain from knots and tension in my neck and this was the only place I was able to get in for a massage same day and they definitely didn’t disappoint. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. The atmosphere was so calm and relaxing. I had my own locker, robe, and slippers which is a great touch. I would definitely return.

My husband was so sweet to book us a couples massage for my birthday. We also got a facial as well. We really enjoyed our facial. However, I did not enjoy my massage at all. That was what I was looking forward to the most. I remember asking the lady to put more pressure for my massage but after a few minutes she went back to less pressure. I understand it gets tiring after awhile of massaging but I felt like we paid too much to get oil and lotion rubbed on my back. That’s really all I felt was her rubbing oil and lotion on my back for one hour. I was so disappointed. The overall experience was good but idk if I’ll go back for the massage.

Incredible hot stone massage with Jessica! Such attention to exactly what my body needed. Really appreciate all the extra relaxation in the luxurious sanctuary before and after the service- even warmed my robe! Absolutely the best spa experience in the twin cities.

Its very relaxing and I enjoy getting scrub and massage and skin moisturized so its not just about the nails. Its only place that can do 3 people at once which I appreciate because my 2 daughters and I can go at same time.

The front desk staff also make sure you are well taken care of with the check in and check out process, showing you to your locker, where your robe and slippers are located and are on top of keeping the place clean, everything restocked and making sure you have what you need like tea, water, snacks and are there to answer any questions. There are plenty of wonderful products to pick from as well before leaving and I always appreciate when recommendations are made for me after my service. The atmosphere is also a bonus, its so relaxing and beautiful and thats why I continue to return to Woodhouse! Come to Woodhouse in Woodbury, you wont be disappointed! ❤️

Love this spa, great ambience super friendly knowledgeable staff and they do an amazing job thinking of every detail! Did a hydrafacial and keravive hydrafacial for my hair to clean my scalp and both services were fantastic.

A friend and I got seasonal pedicures together this morning and it was so nice. The staff is so friendly and kind, the space is so calming and inviting, and the pedicure was wonderful. I especially loved the hot stone massage. We will be back!

Jes is the best. The best deep tissue massage ever. She’s a lovely person on top of the skill of massage. I walked in with neck and shoulder limitations and left without. I felt like a new person walking out of there. I’m thankfulour paths have crossed.

Jessica did a great job at using muscle release techniques with the nice design deep massage. She asked me what areas needed help and made sure I was relaxing so she could best remove tension in my muscles. She was knowledgeable on myofascial and trigger point release which is important for longer lasting results. She also provided tips for at home care which I greatly appreciated. Not an inexpensive location but you do get a top notch experience. Extremely nice and clean massage rooms.

It’s funny how I just paid $300 for a deep tissue 110mins and now I have to book another massage appointment at different place the next day because all of my tightness knots are still there. This was my first experience at Woodhouse spa, and I honestly cant wait to go back. I arrived about 30 minutes early to my appointment and had time to enjoy their spa lounge to relax before my treatment. I selected the calming retreat for my treatment and it was quite the treat. As promised, it is a multisensory experience. She started with a scalp, neck and shoulder massage followed by a dry brush to help promote lymphatic flow. This was followed by a hot stone massage and then a foot release. Highly recommend! I cant wait to go back and try another massage treatment!

My masseuse was wonderful. I asked for a deep tissue massage which was exactly what I got. She found spots I didn’t even know were sore!

If you want the perfect day spa experience, girls’ (or guys’) retreat, or just some body work done, Woodhouse Spa is your place. Their facials, in particular, are top notch.

My first experience was wonderful. My service provider was thorough on product knowledge and had great advice on what to work into my daily face routine. My skin has never felt better!

Everything was absolutely lovely, I arrived a half hour before my start time and was kindly welcomed to enjoy the quiet room with refreshments next to the fire place. I changed into the luxurious thick robe that was provided but decided to keep my (clean) crocs on instead of using their sandals. the room had plenty of seating options to get cozy. I snuggled up with a book in a large chair with a pillow while I waited. When my appointment began the massage therapist quietly introduced themself and welcomed me to the next room. The massage table was heated and had a nice thick quilt to cover with. The entire massage itself was great, but I have to mention how professional, respectful and kind the massage therapist was. Next I had a luxurious facial with a incredibly sweet and knowledgeable woman. I even snoozed off at one point. To end my service I had a pedicure with a very chatty and up beat nail tech. The chairs were fantastic, heated massage chairs that hovered over the freshly cleaned and prepared foot baths. Everything was clean and done exceptionally well. The small talk, products and experience were fantastic for this service and I would highly recommend.I was a little nervous to book this service but the staff quickly put all of that to ease and welcomed me, I will definitely be back!

Had a deep tissue massage with Jessica and she did an amazing job! I have been to a lot of different places for massages and her deep tissue has to be one of the best I have ever experienced. I have a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders and she did a great job getting knots out. Her deep pressure is no joke and you might have to ask her to lighten but it also means she really gets in there.PLUS SIZE FOLKS: I am a 2X and they had robes in my size which was such a nice feeling. The tables are large and super comfy. I really appreciate how comfortable they made me feel!

This was my first time at a spa and it did not disappoint! I saw Jenna for a facial and she was amazing for not only the service but also recommendations to help my skin! I would recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be coming back!! ❤️

The Woodhouse spa is wonderful! So relaxing. I’ve celebrated my birthday here and they made it so personalized. You get a cozy robe and slippers upon arrival to enjoy prior to your appointment. The therapists are so intuitive and know exactly what areas to focus on. I’d highly recommend stopping in!

The Calming Retreat was amazing. 10/10, I highly recommend and my masseuse Crystal was great. Will definitely request her next time! Taking away a star because front staff could use some soft skills.

So my girlfriend and I have been coming to the woodhouse for over a year and our experience everytime has been great till my girlfriends masseuse Bridget left the salon. Since then we have had 2 couples massages and she has had 1 single one by different masseuses each time including today and although everytime has been awesome with me (Carrie rocks), my girlfriend has not had a good experience since Bridget has gone and each experience for her has been less then desirable. From no deep pressure to constant talking, she cant seem to enjoy herself and find an actual good deep tissue masseuse like I have with Carrie that can make her feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Sucks because we have spent so much money here and because the couples massages arent cheap at all , we might have to find somewhere else to go. Its a great salon and the environment is warming but it seems like outside of Carrie and Bridget (whos no longer there) there doesnt seem to be a masseuse that can give my girlfriend the deep pressure she likes and an enjoyable experience.

This spa was really relaxing and exactly what I was looking for. I booked the Happy mama (prenatal) package with a massage and pedicure. They have a quiet room for relaxing in before and after your service. My massage was great and they listened to the fact that I wanted a lighter touch. I think my masseuse’s name was Mackenzie. My pedicure was great as well, especially since I can’t really tend to my toenails this late in my pregnancy. Would 100% come back for another service at this location. Everything was clean and well kept.

Most of our massages have been excellent, the one that wasnt, once I notified them, they more than took care of us. Ill keep coming back.

This was my first time trying the Woodhouse Day Spa. I went in for a facial and a manicure. I enjoyed the amenities, like the comfy robe and the quiet room that had drinks and snacks to lounge in before and after my appointments. The facial was wonderful and the esthetician, Judy, did an excellent job talking through my concerns and explaining the steps as she completed my facial. Heather, who did manicure, was friendly and did a good job as well. I’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful experience with my microdermabrasion facial! My tech answered questions that I had and testing the microdermabrasion on my arms to see if it would work on my ketosis pilaris was great! Will be returning to have my arms taken care of in the future

Renees 50 min hydrate and soothe facial was beyond amazing. She went above and beyond to write down recommendations for skin care products and a new and improved routine to help strengthen and heal my skin. We went for a bachelorette day for my daughter. We had pedicures, messages and a facial. We were given a separate area in quiet room which was very nice. The spa is clean, all services were on time and all of the providers we had were professional and did amazing jobs. We left feeling cared for and relaxed. Highly recommend this spa.

Beautiful! Peaceful! Luxurious. And very good service. The space is nicely designed and clean. They made my birthday personal with a cute little sign out at the from desk, and a little delicious cupcake. They have a peaceful room to wait for your treatment in with tea or beverage of your choice from their selection. The lounge area was very clean and peaceful and luxurious. I loved my experience. Its great for groups. It feels like a too grade spa, even though I want sure based on the location in an outdoor mall space. Its a really beautiful location despite what I had in mind. Especially during the holidays. In the evening when we left the trees were all lit up. The lounge room had a fire place, and they let us linger after our treatments. And the only bummer is we didnt know that the sauna is complimentary with any treatment. Oh! And the coziest robes and blankets to use while youre lounging, too. Plus they provide fun books while youre waiting. Cant stress enough how surprised I was at the high quality. And huge props to Linda! She was so welcoming and kind. Just a delight every time she interacted with us.

She was able to work out a problem area in my upper back I’ve had for fifteen years, more than any other body work professional has been able to do. The staff provided the most luxurious experience. Lee is amazing. By far the best massage Ive had and will continue to come back. Im a big fan of pressure and working out the kinks and Lee does just that. We just did the couples massage package at Woodhouse in Woodbury and found it to be fine, but not exceptional for the extremely high price of the package. Light touch, light pressure, technique was ok but nothing that warranted such a high price tag. We both asked for more pressure at one point, after that it was still just “ok”. For the price we won’t be doing again. Nice spa and nice staff though.

Everything is just amazing. As soon as you walk in youre greeted with a warm welcome. The aroma from the spa products in the front is refreshing. Their lavender lemonade is so delicious so give that a try. Every staff Ive bumped into so far has been great. The atmosphere of the whole spa defines relaxing. Its a wonderful experience and everyone deserves a spa day periodically! Get yourself a treat.I did the deep sleep treatment this time, but I plan to try their other services in the future! They have so many to choose from, it was a tough decision to make...but you are sure to be satisfied no matter what.I recommend to take a shower and use their eucalyptus spray in the shower. Then proceed to purchase yourself a bottle at the front desk cause youll love it so much. 🤣
