Ay Que Chula

You walk in and welcome to club Aye Que Chula. I was there on a Sunday brunch and walked in around noon during the middle of the show. Tip= make reservations. I had to sit at the bar but again I didn’t realize how packed this place gets for Sunday brunch. The DJ was playing an awesome mix. Good Job. The menu is simple and to the point. I think a simple menu goes a long way. I ordered the Huevon and it was a Texas toast breakfast sandwich (Texas toast could have been better toasted with more butter). They lay the scrambled eggs inside the bread and add cheese. 2 slices bacon are served along side and also they plate it with tater tots that are garnished with cheese and bacon bits. My overall experience was great. My friend got the avocado toast. Looked amazing. I think the items are priced fairly and the food isn’t bad. Service was great at the bar. Also, we went early April in San Antonio so all the doors were open for the breeze and the open air restaurant vibe. When it gets hot, I don’t know if that will change the patio/restaurant vibe

This place is vibrant and happening. It is a popular spot. My friend and I went to enjoy brunch and to catch up with each other. The drinks are amazing and some of the most beautiful that I have seen. We didnt have to wait for a table, but I did notice lines from time to time. The only thing that I disliked was that the music was so loud that we couldnt hear each other. I asked our waitress if we could relocate because we were sitting right by the speaker. She said that she would have them turn it down. She had trouble finding assistance with this and offered to move us outside instead. I wasnt thrilled to sit in the sun, but if we didnt move, we would have to keep yelling at each other. I really enjoyed the food and my mimosa. I will definitely give this place another visit. Hopefully, the music will be a little lower.

My new favorite brunch spot in San Antonio. Friday brunch has its own special menu. Good food. The service was great. Parking can be a challenge if youre not familiar with the area. Thank goodness for the parking garage around the corner. Mimosas were made to perfection. Its not too busy on Fridays. Sundays usually have drag brunch, and the line to get in can wrap half a block. Get there early!

Food was awesome, got the loaded waffle fries. They were covered in queso, which I like and was good, the guacamole was seasoned and delicious, the fries were crispy and nice on their own as well.We got a Birria pizza which was good and filled with cheese and beef, the consume was thick. The pickled onions and the jalapeño on top we bomb!Service and staff were friendly and nice but 1 server was overwhelmed and wasnt able to fully keep up with all the tables. Had to ask a few time for more water. Nothing crazy, just possibly needed some help.The atmosphere was spot on the hype the party the vibe was perfect 👌🏼I loved it and couldnt ask for anything better.

Really enjoyed our time here. Option for outdoor or indoor seating and spacious. It was our first time so I kept looking at the trays to see what the food was like. Portions are more than enough. Our server was very attentive and super nice and helpful when we asked for suggestions. Looking forward to our next visit.

I loved Ay Que Chula, it makes you happy and want to dance with the music. My girls and I had the Mangonda in the 2nd biggest size. Theres regular, big, bigger, and a purse size. For us 3 girls $29 for the big size was perfect. They loved and wanted more chamoy in it, I wanted less chamoy. They also ordered the Birria quesadilla and chicken flatus which were good, as well as the price. I would recommend this place for sure.

We had a girls day brunch and it was amazing!! Andrew was our most excellent server. He was fun, energetic and informative!! Will definitely be back soon!!

First, walking into the establishment felt off on a Sunday. The music was really bad and distasteful, there’s no personality or character with the place. I was served by Arlington which he is a good man, but takes personal shots before serving other people.The fact that he had to take shots, as well as forgetting to put my order through to the kitchen makes me feel like they don’t watch the employees drinking awareness.I waited for 30 minutes for food that never came. And the fact that the Manager who was sitting RIGHT NEXT TO ME AND HEARD ME MAKE MY ORDER. Couldn’t realize the honest mistake but instead when confronted, made fun of me for my Boyfriend ordering food while I told him I never got mine. He proceeded to laugh at my face, say that I’m crazy cause there’s an empty plate in front of me. He issued a “refunded void payment” but then proceeded to charge me and my boyfriend for complimentary drinks. The Burger was cold and the chips were very stale.This establishment has horrible guest interaction, poor customer service and respect for those who considered this place a nice bar.I’ve met the family and they seem very honest and caring, but perhaps things need to be reviewed in the Staffing and ways Management handles situations.

Delicious food, friendly staff and good music. We came in a group of 8 for Saturday Brunch. Each ordered different menu items. Every dish was tasty, cooked perfectly and served hot. We had cocktails and beer. Also tasty. We will definitely be back.

Been here to brunch twice just for the pancakes with eggs & bacon! My friend and I had a great time! Our server, Sam, really took care of us & was super friendly! Brunch gets really busy especially since the restaurant is new & everyone wants to try the place so if you don’t want to wait in line long, come at least 10-15 min before they open :)

More than what I expected! It was fun, and the service was great! We enjoyed the experience, the location is easy to find, customer service was great, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended!

I really like this brunch place . The food was delicious ! Service was pretty good as well . Just a few hiccups that need to be fixed . One - please do reservations . It took about an hour and 15 minutes before we got our table . Second , I wish the brunch menu had more food. I had the chula quiles and it was the bomb but it needed at least a bigger egg or two . The big ahh mimosa was good and the shots were great as well . I’d definitely come back.

We’re long time customers of Luther’s, but throughout the years it lost its spark, party audience, and many customers. During Pride Fest, my wife happened to stop by and the atmosphere had changed , so we walked in, had to pay , but didn’t mind. Customer service was the best. The owner made sure everyone had a great time, introduced himself and even took the time to bring my wife and I , a slice of Pride Cheesecake for our anniversary. Ray was king enough to take a picture with us, Thank you Ray, we are now returning customers. I can say, the name sure does fit this establishment, the neon lights makes it so pretty! The specialty drinks are something to try!

If you want a loud, club atmosphere for breakfast, then this is your place. While it does have a cool kind of 90s vibe in decor, you wont see much with how crowded it gets. They dont take reservations so you have to get there right when they open in hopes of getting a table. Our party was placed outside even though it was pretty chilly. Took a while to get drinks and then even longer to get our order taken for food.The food is tasty but there arent many options to choose from. The drinks are okay, we tried the Giant Mimosa and one of the frozen drinks. Not really worth the price. The espresso martini was delicious though.After a bit they opened the garage doors so everything was connected. Then the DJ started playing music insanely loud. It was at the point we couldnt even hold a conversation without having to yell over the music. Not really the vibe we were going for.

Place is a absolute dime! Perfect music , the tres leches french toast was amazing!! My wife had the pancakes which she also enjoyed! Just a great brunch experience. Everyone there also looked to be enjoying the place and drinks too

Everything I tried was 10/10! 🔥 I’ve gone a few times since they opened & the food is FANTASTIC! The birria quesadilla is my favorite off the menu 😮‍💨 the consume is perfect! All the drinks were so tasty and strong, my favorite is the SMASHING PEACHES 🍑🤤 & the frozen margs! 🍹🍻🥃Food presentation is beautiful & taste just how it looks 😍 sent friends to check it out & each day the same thing!

Cool place. Food and drinks are good. The wait is a bit Excessive. Waiting over an hour while tables remain empty is odd.

Service was great. Wait staff was super attentive and quick to resolve any issues. Highly recommend the Chula-Quiles (Chilaquiles). Try them with asada and/or chicken! It was delicious!

Great atmosphere, friendly waitstaff. Michelle was amazing. Drinks were fun and good. My bistec taco was delicious and not too heavy or greasy.

Zay was amazing! She took care of us and constantly came to our table and made sure we were taken care of! And she made sure we were having a good time and got lit! Which was our goal! Definitely going to come back for her!

Went here on my birthday!!! LOVED IT! I was initially told it was a 3hr wait and when they realized it was my birthday my party was seated almost immediately! great food and creative yummy drinks

As soon as I came in, I was greeted by both by he server and the bartender 🫶🏻The bartender, Arlington, is very knowledgeable of both the food and bar menu. Super upbeat personality, great vibe and even better at conversation.Johnathan is the server for tonight, and is also great with customer service! He checked on me despite me being at the bartop 🥹 I LOVE to see strong crew involvement!!! It makes my F&B heart so happy 🥹❤️Ordered the Queso Fundido with a Frozen Mango Margarita. It’s definitely my new favorite queso and the chips were both hot, and perfectly seasoned!My friend is sober and straying away from alcohol, and Arlington suggested a mocktail shot for my friend to take with me, with several options to choose from. This is an amazing place to come to from start to finish. I’d give it 6 stars if I could!I’m definitely a tequila drinker, but given that it’s $2 Tito’s Tuesday.. I was unaware Friday had a different brunch menu than sunday and Saturday, the Facebook shows menus so that’s what I looked at the night before. I knew Friday brunch was new from Instagram and had been eyeing the place and when they added Friday (I work weekend) I wanted to try. The menu is sandwich and tater tots, there was no kids menu like they serve sat and sun and we had two 2 yr olds and 4 adults in our party. When asked about the menu our waiter said that’s all they serve Friday, none of which is too kid friendly except for the “thotties” loaded tater tots which we had to take half the stuff off but ordered. Then when I got the check it was higher than I expected so I asked for a receipt, I got it after we paid. We were charged 20% large party fee. The menu does not state a large party fee and two member of our party were two years olds that couldn’t even order off the menu. I don’t mind paying a fee if stated on the menu and my whole party is served. It was stated as a charge on the reciept..I really hope my server gets that money…Food and drinks were good, our server was nice, seemed new and slower, but nice and attentive. Just wild I spent an extra 10$ for a “service” charge and our children ate tater tots called thotties lmao

Had the SA Burger and DAMN it was delicious! Guac, black beans and Hot Cheetos! Every bite was full of flavor. Friendly staff and great cocktails! Will definitely be back!

The hostess told us it was going to be an hour wait and then when our table was ready she gave our table away to the group that just walked in after we have been waiting. Then she tells us that she cant seat us cause she doesnt have anymore table available. The food was okay but dry. We order a 82oz drink and they gave us a drink that looked like 32oz. The bathrooms are dirty.The manager was helpful and understanding.

Not a great first experience. I will try again in the future though. The host was adorable and sweet. My server was nice but not attentive. I felt it was a bit pricey for the quality of food that I got

First time here and it was okay. Definitely wasnt worth the hour wait for 2 people. The hosts dont really talk to you and have a mean mug face. Our waitress was great, and made sure we were good. Margarita was alright definitely wont get it again. Do recommend them cleaning up the place better, the floors needed mopping, restrooms needed to be restocked. Not really many options for food.Definitely wished they had the burgers available when it was 2:30pm not just brunch (10-4:30)

Came here for brunch on my birthday (today) Food was absolutely delicious, drinks were amazing. There was 7 of us they estimated us at a 45 min wait time for a table got us in much sooner maybe about a 25 min wait. Server was an absolute sweetheart. Took great care of me and my friends on my birthday. Will definitely be coming back to try the dinner menu. Definitely an up and coming restaurant, and as a chef myself i see huge potential.

I love everything about this place. The food is amazing, staff is great, and the atmosphere is always light and colorful just like the pictures and social media show. It really is a good place to go!Also, try the burger. Its outstanding.

We visited for brunch and it was so good. Justine and Penny were our bartender and they were amazing!

Arlington was awesome with the service he provided! He recommended the birria and it was very delicious!

Make sure to tip you bartenders here, they definitely work for you. Brightly colored and decently priced cocktails. I do like the frozen drinks; my kryptonite at this place. But uncomfortable seating and sound system is all over the place.

We went during brunch and if your going around that time just be careful and prepared for a 2 hr wait and over crowding, I totally get it they were super busy when we got there so our waiter took awhile but other then that I really enjoyed the breakfast taco and my cousins loved their chilaquiles I ordered an espresso martini and was kinda disappointed my cousins ordered the huge cocktail drinks and liked them. Definitely willing to give this place another shot

The food didnt have much flavor. Nice plate presentation, though. Pancakes were dry. The Churro sandwich and ice cream were good. 3 out of the 4 of us ended up sick the next day. The wait was definitely long on a Saturday, so be prepared for that. They definitely need to hire more staff and have some fans outside on the patio.

If I could give a zero for service I would. I came here to celebrate my birthday. I was very understanding that my big party would have to wait an hour or so. We waited, and waited.. and waited. So eventually, two hours passed and I went up to the host/hostess and asked what was going on and they basically said whenever the other large party decides to leave, we can be sat. Now mind you, they have a great bar area with tables and music! I loved that part. Why couldn’t they just ask that table to move their party to the bar area. Especially if you’re only going to have one place for big parties to sit. I’m not sure if it was the manager or the owner that was speaking to me and my friends but she was extremely rude and not friendly. I was so excited to try out this place and it was very underwhelming to say the least. The food was very mediocre. You’re paying for the vibes and that’s all and truthfully after dealing with that woman the vibe was dead. The only decent part was the bar area and the sweet and helpful waitress. I Will not be returning here.

Saw this place on S.A. Foodie. Love the atmosphere and this place is a must try for great food and drinks! And to top it all off we have the best server!! Be sure to ask for Jonathon when you come!!

Based off of my experience, I wouldn’t come back. For the price I paid for my food, the quality was “okay”, but not worth close 18 dollars for my chilaquiles. The french toast was soggy and bland, and other orders at my table were disappointing.The service was poor. The orders came out at different times, we rarely were checked for refills on waters or drinks, and our orders came out wrong or were lacking what was described on the menu. The music was too loud and made talking hard at my table. If you’re looking for a nice brunch spot for good food at reasonable prices, this is not the place.

Went with my bestie for Pride yesterday and had THE BEST TIME!!!! Our waitress Dez was AMAZING, atmosphere was a whole party, food was amazing and the owner even came to our table staying he loved our vibe. Watch out for those jalapeños they are small and mighty lol. I definitely give this place a 10 out of 10

We loved the place. The bartender: His name was Arlington was amazing. We ate at the bar. The service was excellent.The wait was 2hrs for a table though. They do have 2 bars where you can sit and eat. So we were able to grab a spot in 10 mins at the bar, but we were a party of 2. Larger parties probably need to plan ahead. I don’t if they take reservations, but the Bartender/Drinks/Food were great. The drinks don’t disappoint.

I think its a pretty descent vibe however as a business I think it has much more potential. First impression around 8pm on a Saturday was two tables were dirty on the side we wanted to sit on so we had to sit next to the TV near the bathroom because it was full. The bartender kind of gave us a bit of a unwanted redirection there meaning no one was going to clean it right now. It took a while to get a server , I had to ask. We ordered a few drinks, 4 to be exact two of which tasted really bad so we returned them. On the second round we ordered palomas and they didnt look like the ones we got the first time so the bartender probably doesnt use an exact formula each time which was a bit off putting. We ordered the big margarita and that was pretty good Ill give them that. We ordered food and I thought that tasted pretty good too I did enjoy it a lot. I think Ill give this place another chance with the drinks maybe it was just one of those days and the server was very nice but empty glasses should be picked up not given to you to take away . Anyway youre in a really good spot with a lot of traffic so dont mess it up we dont forget.

My food delicious but after the sauce dried up, so if it would of had more sauce and some cheese and some spice it would of been perfect.

Elana the Hostess / mom-ager was nice and Des our server was very attentive. The food was great and the DJ played excellent music during our visit. You may want arrive early as our wait time was about 30 minutes in line, after 12pm. The bar is available for walk-ins to eat but we preferred a table. Overall a great dining experience, in spite of the wait. 5Stars

Was seated and no server ever came by. At about 35 minutes after being seated I let the hostess know that tables seated after us were served and no one had checked in on us at all. We still received no service. After waiting for 45 minutes, we just walked out. Super disappointed. From the social media it seemed like a vibe but honestly even that was off. There weren’t any speakers by our table so even the music seemed far away. 1/10, not it at all!

Wait was not too bad. Overall still better than Luther’s. Really good place to chill and start or end the night. Come go !!

Food was marginal but clearly not the focus of this very colorful locale. Bonus noon drag show livened up brunch quite a bit. Havent seen hair that big since Dallas in the late 80s. Very fun - would go again for the unique atmosphere.

If I could zero to half a star that’s what I would rate this place. I would love to rate the food BUT after waiting an hour and 45 minutes we NEVER received our food.The manager never apologized or even made things right, his response to us waiting was “your food is in the window” was it waiting the whole entire hour and 45 minutes or was it just made because our order was never entered?In addition, we were seated at a dirty table which the host never wiped down, the women’s bathroom was not maintenance at ALL for when you entered there was throw-up between the stalls. Not only is their service horrible they have a total disregard for making their business a clean one.Needless to say this was poor customer service and a BAD first time experience, I would never recommend anyone to go there it was better when it was Luther’s. Do not spend your hard earned money here!

This was a fantastic birthday choice and boy did we have a great time!! Johnny was nearly as TERRIFIC as the food!! Definitely have to check this place out! And do not leave without giving the churro and ice cream a try, you will NEVER want to have them anywhere else!! Cannot wait to go back!!!

Such a nice welcome from April. I was taken to my table immediately. The food and drinks were awesome, had a great time with my friends! Definitely coming back during PRIDE!!

Food was ok , nothing out of the ordinary that you won’t find already on at Mary’s st. Had a breakfast taco.Place was clean , chill and nice . Our waiter was outstanding , I wish I would’ve took his name. Hispanic guy, spiky black hair, was working the new brunch hour on a Friday . Very attentive. The micheladas were yummy

I didnt think it possible but the food managed to get worst from the former Luthers restaurant. They were serving a limited fiesta menu. I would think it would be their best not the case. I ordered a burger and fries. The burger was okay but instead of waffle fries, I got a plate full of waffle crumbs. Service was friendly but short staffed. Very disappointed.

We decided to give this place a try with how great it looked on social media. The wait was long but expected, unfortunately all of our food came out messed up. Eggs were undercooked and also threw onto food that was requested to be taken off when ordering, then just taken off when it was sent back so there was still egg and egg yolk all over the food. Chilaquiles were very tasteless and bland not worth $18. Servers did their best to help correct our orders and the drinks were fine but not a place we will be returning to despite the hype.

I had such a great time for this being my first time here at the restaurant the server Des was amazing. The food was absolutely great. Definitely will be coming back.

Food was delicious and our server was wonderful. They were slammed for Brunch on Sunday and the wait was over an hour and it was very hard to get service at the bar while waiting because of all the people. They also closed the kitchen an hour early before brunch was supposed to be done. But overall it was a good atmosphere and the food was on point. You can tell they are still working out all the kinks but once they do get it all figured it out then it will be a staple to be sure you visit while in SA!

The vibes and environment were nice!m. The food was mid. I had the Tres leches French toast and honestly it could have been more sweeter considering the name of the dish. The server was so distracted with another table she totally forgot about my table. Once 45 minutes had passed we asked kindly where our food was at and she was like “Oh yeah, let me check on that.” Shortly after that our food arrived to the table. The server again forgot about us, so we went to the bar and asked for the things we needed after receiving our plates. Once we received our food the server not once came to check on how our food was or how we were doing. We will not be coming back to this establishment.

Arlington was great ,! But the manager seen hair in our food and didn’t even come speak with us , bartender was a vibe even changed the music for us.. Akeem was horrible who hired him he told us it was so many problems in the back.why , we just ate I wanna thro up

This place has good food and good service, love the music , real fast turnaround. Atmosphere is real clubesque and fun. Not to mention huge drinks. You have to find parking.

Waited 20 minutes and had to approach the bar to let them know that no one had come to take our drink order. They definitely didn’t have enough staff for a Sunday. The tables are all small round tables so it’s not comfortable for a meal. After order it took about 45 minutes to get our food which was not hot at all. The taste was good but it was obviously sitting there for a while before it was brought out. Same for the drinks. Was excited about this place but most likely won’t be back.

Ay q chula is a whole vibe! Fun music! Great to come out and enjoy brunch! This is my second time coming back! Alura our bartender has been super friendly and kind even on a busy brunch hours she is soo patient and still with a smile!

Great place, great food, drinks and amazing staff! Very Biker friendly place.My friends and I rolled up last weekend at night on our motorcycles and were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff which was much appreciated and unexpected.Great place, definitely a must visit if you haven’t been.

Today 2/4/2024 around 6pm my partner and I went there to check it out and we wanted to have dinner there. We got there sat at the table and waited for about an hour. The waitresses walked by several times but never asked for our order o even acknowledged we are seating there. I went to the bathroom and on the way back I asked the bartender(tall gentleman) and he said he will send someone to our table. I went back to our table and new customers seating next to us were already given a menu and ordering food. We got a bit upset and left. The bartender saw us leaving and he said he was sending someone I said no thank you, we are leaving and he said sorry. Management really need to change things around if not this business won’t last.

Took me a couple days to post this to make sure I didnt miss anything.Pros: The service was great. I got welcomed in and was made aware that I could pick where to sit. It didnt take long for the bartender to approach me to take my order and she was very attentive.I ordered a Smashing Peach and a Paloma cocktail and they were on point. Very flavorful and enjoyable. I did not order a beer but beer is beer. What I can say is that the beer was very well priced for the area.Now for the cons: I ordered one food item, which was the Loaded Asada Waffle Fries. I was very excited to try this and was overly disappointed when the playe was placed in front of me. I was served loaded fries not waffle fries. I asked if they were out of waffle fries and they said yes. Why wasnt I made aware at any point before the food got to my table? I tried eating it anyways and it was very mid, lacked flavor and just not appetizing. One of the employees noticed that I wasnt enjoying it and asked me about it and even offered me something else. Lost my appetite at this point but appreciated the offer. I ordered a Pina Colda margarita and was shocked at how bad this was. No taste of pina or cold in this. It taste like a low quality sno-cone, and it was the brightest color of blue, doesnt make sense. Avoid the margaritas.I would like to try this place again but I will avoid the margaritas and stick yo a couple cocktails and most.

Visited this venue recently to check it out. Hadn’t been to this part of town in years, so decided to check out some new spots that just opened. This one was very nice. Staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The drinks were great. The food was excellent. We plan to be back to try to brunch menu! It looks delicious and can’t wait to try it! Very well executed venue.

Thus, a large group came in and everyone else was neglected for a good 20 minutes.Suggest you go to the Pearl or to a bar/food truck location.

Went to check out this place first off the ambiance isn’t that great, it’s basically bare min. The menus are paper . And not a lot of options. The chairs are uncomfortable not suitable for bigger people. I ordered the burger and when I say I’m sick to my stomach. It tasted like a frozen patty no flavor. I wanted to come for brunch but I’ll pass.

We came during fiesta night parade and the day for brunch. It was a good experience.The place had good drinks, delicious food and clean restrooms.We’ll be back again soon.

I feel like giving this place a 1 star is not even worthy. The fact is I found this place on social media and was very excited to try it out so, I invited Friends and family to get together on a specific day that was convenient for us to go and try this place out, just to get a big slap in the face! Just so happen the day we chose which is today, February 17, 2024. It was cold and I did notice that all of the tables were high tops and they did have picnic tables. They did not take reservations so part of my party showed up before I did, and asked if we could have a table inside because a person that we have in our party is in a wheelchair. They proceeded to say flat out NO! So when my mom and I arrived, I told her the situation that was going on so she went inside and said is there anyway that y’all can accommodate my daughter who is in a wheelchair by bringing in a table so we can enjoy the party they proceeded to say NO! Again, without any reasoning and so, my mom asked do y’all not accommodate people in wheelchairs? Your host said we accommodate but not right now because we’re busy. Needless to say, your restaurant is not ADA compliant and neither are your workers.

The Food is Amazing! The 3s leche French toast are next level good! My server was great brought my food out and it was quick and the drinks were great. The place is colorful and bright, love it!

I was not too pleased with the food. We ordered the French toast plate. The bread was raw and doughie in the middle, scrambled eggs were brown and dry (overcooked), and the bacon was the cheap thin cuts. I would expect better quality for a $17 plate. This was a soft opening and their second weekend doing the brunch menu. Hopefully the food improves.

After waiting over an hour for a table we couldn’t get a waitress. I had to find a waitress to take our order. After the first waitress was done we told her to please make sure we were taken care of and that did not happen. I had to go find a second waitress. Everything else was good but service sucked.

Went to this place on Sunday 1/28/2024 around 1pm but left by 1:45pm no one came to our table to take our order or even offer water. Even after the other waiters were informed they couldn’t care less if we had been there a while with nothing. As we left the manager was informed why we were leaving and he proceeded to let the other guests waiting they have a table available now. Wow! never going back again and not recommending this place to anyone ever. Horrible customer service. there are other BETTER places for brunch. This place did NOT pass the vibe testThe wait was not 10-20 mins as suggested by the response. We arrived at 1pm and left at 1:50pm 1/28/2024. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE

Xana was a great waitress made sure food was out to us as soon as it was ready. She also kept our drinks full. It was our first time here and had a great experience.

I was excited to try this place with my sisters I had seen it all over instagram I decided to go around 7 or 8 in the evening. When we first walked in nobody greeted us it was not busy at all we sat down out side nobody came our table we went in side thinking we order with bar tenders we tried and the first bar tender wouldn’t give us the time of day it’s not like it was busy where she couldn’t have helped no she chose to ignore us we had to go to the other bar order we got our drinks sat down while another group walked in got seated ordered with a waiter and got tended to its a cute place but the service was really bad

Zay she did amazing. Our table had many questions as it was put first time and even when she was not sure she went and found our answer!! Great job on your first day!!

UPDATE 2/2024:Came back and for a bar thats opened in the dead center of the SA gayborhood, it was so far from gay friendly, it was just odd.Sat down and was passed by multiple servers, some of whom were doing shots while on the clock. No one ever came to the table and we left after 15 minutes.Not going back and dont see this place lasting a long time. Its a square peg in a round hole. Without extending itself and showing some appreciation to the history of the neighborhood, people will not support this place.Aside from that, the service standard is terrible.-----------------------------------------------------Socials say theyre open and when going, the staff is standing around asking each other if theyre open or not.Waste of time. No apology, just a blank stare.If you want to be accepted in this community, dont start off by disrespecting your customer base.This place wont last long acting like this.
