We came for a family vacation to SeaWorld and Schlitterbahn and we decided to have a relaxing massage and spa. It was a beautiful experience. My husband love the massage. The environment was pleasant and clean. Rachel is very good at what she does. Her foot treatment is the best. Kelly has a wonderful attitude. We will surely be back whenever we can

Ive been getting my nails done for almost 15 years, and these are the best Ive ever had!! I unfortunately dont remember the name of the girl who did my nails, but she does a lot of polygel nails, and it shows! They are perfect. So, so pretty! I didnt want to pay the extra money to put polish on them, and was disappointed as I figured I would hate them naked. But she helped me pick out the color of the polygel, nude pink, and I absolutely love them!!!! I shove them in everyones faces to show them off.Thank you, amazing person who I cant remember your name!!

Was scouring all of SA to look for a place who did polygel nails and finally found a place. The girl who did my nails (I think her name was Rachel) was amazing and took her time and was patient with my Virgo self! Would come here again whenever I come and visit! My mom also got a facial done by Kelly and loved it!

I came in to Terra Spa to get the inch loss body wrap, European facial and massage. Kelly did both the wrap and facial and it was such an amazing experience. She is such a genuine soul and makes the whole process and experience comfortable and enjoyable. I woke up the next morning and my skins was immediately glowing. I was on vacation last weekend. And I went in for a facial before I caught my flight. and it was one of the most relaxing facials I’ve ever had. And literally one of the best. She did so good and she listened and she was very good at communicating with me. She also gave me really good tips. I would definitely come back to Terra day spa if I’m ever in San Antonio again.

I read over the reviews before making my first appointment with Terra Spa and, although I read terrible comments, I decided to give them a chance. Bad decision. When I arrived for appointment, their sign still said closed. My appointment was at 9:30, but the sign on the door said they opened at 10. So I waited in my car like they told me so I could have my temp taken, and no one showed up for 30 minutes! I sat in my car and watched the receptionist drive up, at 9:45, but she walked in with sunglasses on her face, completely ignoring the only customer(me) waiting outside. She walked in and walked out and locked the door back and drove away. I thought she was there to let me in, but left and locked the door back! After she left, I left. I got a call around 10:05, asking if I was still coming for my appt. I decided to still give them a chance so I went back since I was still in the area. Another bad decision. The massage therapist didn’t tell me what to do(although this isn’t my first massage) and just left and only gave me probably 70 seconds to get undressed. The session was awful. She talked the whole time and body shamed me the whole time, as well, telling me I shouldn’t eat processed foods or give my kids processed food. She kept asking me if I injured my hip or sprained my ankle and I never have had any injuries. So unprofessional! She spent very little time in my problem areas and kept stopping to carry her conversation. I felt horrible from the constant talking, body shaming, and quality. I will never go again or recommend them to anyone.

This place is worth every cent and second spent here. I went and had a deep tissue massage and I will definitely be a repeat offender here. I walked out feeling worked over, but thats exactly what I needed. Too often I will go to a masseuse and barely get any sort of work put in on me. If I wanted to have someone just rub the surface level I could have someone do that free of charge. When I get a massage I really want the tension worked out. That was done and then some, I also had a reflexology massage done as well since Im pretty hard on my feet. It was exactly what I needed, i walked out and my foot that had previously been giving me issues was nearly completely sorted out. The waiting area is nice and it smells like they are using aromatherapy or scented oils. The staff is also very kind and personable, they each seem to have a specialty but also know what the other staff specializes in and they dont hesitate to take care of what youre looking for without coming off as trying to oversell you. I spent a decent amount of time in the waiting area and they continued to check back with me and ensure I was taken care of and give me updates on when I would be taken back. I do recommend an appointment and you can make those over the phone. I made a same day appointment and Ill be making another here very soon.

Initially went here off a gift certificate for a trauma massage. I was been in a car accident a few years ago plus a full-time caregiver for my mom so my body just couldnt heal. Ive been to a variety of Massage salons looking for pain relief so Ive visited Mega salons with all the bells and whistles, hole in the walls, & mom-and-pop type. This place falls right in the middle and doesnt knock your socks off when you first walk in, but Miss Renee will. This young lady moved and adjusted things on me that NO ONE has ever done before between numerous massage salons and a handful of chiropractors. And not to offend anyone, but there was no language barrier! She is a wealth, a FULL Encyclopedia set of information & a true gold mine. I walked in riddled with pain but floated out. I selfishly waited to give this review because I didnt want to not be able to get into her because she was so busy, but it would have been an injustice to her and the salon itself. The entire staff is wonderful and each one has a unique and special skill. Ive been 4 times now and broke down and bought the membership. Ill adjust bills somewhere else but this health and wellness is a must-have...

Had eyelash extensions done by Vanessa. She is awesome! Very knowledgeable about the products and services. Even gave me some tips on how to make my natural lashes grow. Her customer service is amazing! Will definitely be returning :)

This was my first time going to Terra Spa. I had gone in for the body wrap. Vanessa was great! She was so kind and informative. She explained each step of the process. After she applied the wrap, I was left in the room for an hour with soothing music and dimmed lights. I was really looking forward to (and desperately needed) an hour of quiet time. However, this didnt last long. The staff member in the next room was giving a massage to a client, and was VERY loud. The staff member (I dont know her name), talked loudly and non-stop for an hour. Even when she was in the hallway, she continued to talk loudly to herself. Although her client may have been fine with it, this staff member really needs to take a lesson in serenity. This is supposed to be a a relaxing experience. Vanessa did everything she could to make this a calming experience. However, the rest of the staff really needs to be more considerate of the other clients.

Terra spa is great! We arrived a few minutes late and they were still able to accommodate us! Georgia did a great massage, one of the best Ive ever had. I felt like a new person when I was done. My girlfriend had Renee and said she really triggered the difficult areas. We definitely recommend the couples massage! We were visiting from CC and will return next time we are in San Antonio!

I wanted to love this place, but I do not. My massage therapist offered to stay 30 minutes after close so I could have the 90 minute massage. However, it was an entirely unpleasant experience. First, she talked the entire time. Not at all relaxing. Second, the pressure. She dug so hard into me, I was physically and audibly in pain. I assumed it was the no pain, no gain philosophy and that she knew what she was doing and Id feel relief afterward. I did feel slightly loosened up, but only for about an hour. The day after, the bruises showed up. I was in pain for the next three days, unable to even sleep or sit on my back. Im incredibly disappointed, as all the staff seemed incredibly nice and accommodating, establishment was clean, pricing was reasonable. But based purely on the massage experience itself, I cannot recommend going here.

Weve (my husband and I) been coming here on an almost monthly basis for over a year now and have always had a fabulous experience. The staff is so sweet and ensures that we leave feeling better than how we got there. We typically see Miss Kim and Miss Renee, both of which are so sweet. My husband is disabled and has a lot of joint and back pain, but Kim has been able to help him work through a lot of those issues. We are definetly grateful. The relief and relaxation weve gotten coupled with Terras military discount is why we will continue to keep coming back to see these ladies.

I have been getting facials and micro for 2 months now with Elijah. She is AMAZING!!! My skin has never looked so good. I get compliments from everyone! This has been the best investments to make sure my skin is top notch for my wedding in Dec. Thanks so much!

I had an event to go to and was running so late, but Vanessa put my lashes on. She was so professional and made my eyes look so full and natural. She was fast and excellent. They lasted 2 months without any return. If you want lashes and want to look naturally beautiful go see Vanessa, she is the bomb.

Rene really improve my lower back pain. Basically. I feel rejuvenated all over and been feeling that way over the last 4 days. This was my first massage . I will become a regular customer. Great job Rene!!! Also to mention the lady at the front desk was very professional and courteous.

Today I went to TerraSpa for the first time. I had this best experience from making the appointment to the end of my message. Renee was so amazing. She fixed muscle issues I didn’t know existed. I will definitely be back!

Hubby and I got pedicures and massages today.Pedicure Positives: the ladies were very thorough, extremely personable and when I mentioned being hungry, the lady doing my feet offered her own cash for hubby to grab me something! ❤️No pedicure negatives except part of mine was left out due to the young lady at the counter who scheduled poorly in spiteOf my question of allowing more one for shellac AND she neglected to inform my nail technician that I would be getting the shellac. Time was wasted due to this.Massage: hubby had deep tissue and I had prenatal. My massage was WONDERFUL up until the end. She did a wonderful job on my back, hips and back. It would be in my top three best massages ever. Unfortunately, I have scratches from her nails when we switched to massaging my neck. I chose not to say anything because I wanted the massage to still be decent.Hubby said his was good in the way of neck and shoulders and the therapist did some work on his neck he’d never experienced before and said it was helpful. Unfortunately, he ended up with a huge (six inch) scratch on his side from the therapists nails. Also, the therapist asked to massage parts that were clearly marked as no-go on his intake form.Overall, the pedicures were good and the ladies were great. The massages had some wonderful parts but some painful ones as well.The young lady at the counter was the biggest let down. When I informed her I didn’t have the full treatment on my pedi and wondered what I was charged, she attempted to go ask the nail technician why she left it out. She worked hard to justify why I wouldn’t get the full treatment (because I “got good quality products”...ummm that’s what I was SUPPOSED to get along WITH what was left out). I told her for the third time it was a scheduling issue (bc I didn’t want my bail tech to be blamed) and her face was defiant. It was her fault and she refused to take responsibility. I told her that we would pay whatever she charged us for. She again attempted to put blame on the nail tech and then acted like the heroine taking part of charge off.Utterly underwhelmed by her lack of proper scheduling and making me miss out on part of the pedicure along with blame shifting at the end.Because of her, we won’t be back.

What incredible experience! My boyfriend and I booked the Cupid special for Valentine’s Day and it was well worth the value. My boyfriend has suffered from a sports related injury for 8 months and Renee was able to relieve a trmemndous amount of pain with just one massage treatment. We will definitely be back to see Elijah and Renee for masterful massages and facials.

The review is for a body wrap. Asked for an appointment via web. I heard back from them in four days - I had initially forgotten about the request. I requested a 10 a.m. and was offered an 11 a.m. slot, which I accepted. They requested a CC, which was fine . A form was sent to me via email outlining the COVID precautions and what to expect as well as a form to filled out on my phone.A day prior to the appointment I was texted asking if it would be ok to come in at 11:30 instead.My opinion is that when a business asks me to change a time - for whatever reason, I am now accommodating THEM, not the other way around. Because, I was looking forward to the wrap so much I said yes instead of rescheduling.When I arrived the door was locked and a sign posted said to wait in my car.I waited as a previous client left and then received a text saying to come in. Most business greet you and say they’re glad we chose them, not here.The lady ( I use pronouns because no one introduced themselves) asked questions about my experiences with wraps and asked if I wanted to be measured. She seemed rushed. There was no one at the front desk, so that might have contributed to her demeanor. She wasn’t rude and we did have quick, superficial chit chat.I was wrapped and set up. She came in a few minutes later with a warming cloth asked if I was ok and was left for an hour. The wrap was ok. It wasn’t stellar, I didn’t feel lighter or fresher or better. It was ok.I’ve had wraps where I immediately felt SO much better! That wasn’t the case today.If you want in and out, leave me alone, don’t ask me any questions, don’t try to sell me anything , kinda place, THIS is the place for you!The establishment is clean and beautiful but i prefer a warmer environment. This place, while clean and beautiful, was simply not inviting because of the lack of personal attention and poor communication and promptness. It’s not what I’m looking for in a spa and won’t be returning.

Over paid or under waxed?This was an incredibly painful experience. The gloves used kept picking up the wax so that every time I was touched (the glove) would pull or tug on the area touched (skin or hair). In the end, lots of areas were missed. I have a photo of right after waxing where you can not only see patchy spots, you can also see a 5 in x 2 in area that was missed.When I first told the person they missed spots, they became flustered as they had another appointment in 10 minutes and they cut me off as I was trying to inform them of where spots were missed. They cleaned up a couple areas, but made it clear they were out of time, and implied that I ran out of time even though I still paid full price for the services not a block of time. I got the impression from what was said that the spa runs on time allotment for service even though a person pays for the specific service to be performed.I picked this place based on its exceptionally high rating and felt let down. I paid over $200 to have missed spots, patches of hair, and stray hairs all over. When trying to resolve the issue, I was rushed. Id recommend going somewhere else - I dont plan to return to this spa.

Vanessa fixed my eyebrows from Wax in the city. She was able to re- shape my arch and didnt burn or give red pinch marks all over my eyes. Great work, definitely getting cookies for Christmas this year from me.

Today I received a deep tissue massage from Georgia. I’ve been a massage therapist for over 12 years and I’ve never received a massage from another therapist that I wanted to return to. I have finally found someone that can sufficiently work on me and feel comfortable referring people to her. I will be a return client.

Exceptional customer service, tranquil environment, excellent staff. Visits are quality me time in a relaxing environment where you dont think of should be doings. I use the member program as self commitment to quiet reflection time, without distractions. I highly recommend to anyone with kids, spouses, shared living arrangements (Be honest theres no such thing as me time when others can intrude.)

Great Deluxe pedicure for my wife and I. I called and asked for a 12pm appointment and they were happy to set it up. Very easy to get to and great people who work there. I recommend this place for a quick and easy pedicure. They also offer manicure and massage which I hope to take advantage of soon!

I was referred to Renee for a trauma massage by my ortho doc. Renee was able to identify areas to focus on to help alleviate pain in my lower back and tingling in my feet. I continue to go back because of the wonderful results. I feel so much better and can finally get back to exercising and other activities I like to do.

I cant comment on their waxing skills, because I never got to have my appointment. I had an appointment scheduled and they called me about two hours ahead of time to cancel it. They didnt really give an explanation as to why they were canceling it; they just said something about not having a technician on staff that afternoon. Seemed a bit silly to me. So I went to the Wax Bar instead, and it was great.

Jennifer did a great job on my face. She took the time to explain everything she was going to do, as this was my first time having something like this done. It was a very relaxing experience. Will be back again.

Purchased a 90 minute gift card as a gift for a loved one. When the person I purchased gift card for went to redeemed the gift card the receptionist left her unattended “going to lunch, fill this form out”. The welcoming was not what I expected. She had to fill out the intake form with an empty lobby and cluelessness what to do after and waited for therapist to follow her through on details. I will not purchase anymore gift cards from this facility again.

I went to Tera Spa for an anti aging facial which was amazing, my skin is so soft. I also had the reflexology and it really helped to loosen my ankles and relieve pain I was having. The staff was super friendly and informative.

Their online appointment system doesnt work. Made appointment 2 weeks ago for bodywrap to prepare for PT test sunday. Called to verify and not in system. All booked up Friday and latest can take me for Saturday is 1630 (i dont get out of reserve duty til 1600, and its at lackland).I didnt give 1 star cause it might actually be a decent place. Just their scheduling is messed up.

The worst massage ever!!!!! Went in for a romantic couples massage during Valentines weekend and both women were talking the entire time while massaging my husband and I. The music was loud and nothing about the massage was soothing or relaxing about our massages. I dont recommend this place!!!
