Massage was great! Honestly the best massage you can find, it’s not the relaxation one where you don’t get any help with your problems. I love how they work with problems of the back and try to work on your weak spots. Nathan is great! Honestly a great guy who is attentive and valuable and respectful. Prices are super nice now: 60$ per hour, come on!!! That’s perfect especially for students who spend a lot of time at the computer as me. Thank you again! The atmosphere is super nice and relaxing.

I discovered Spa JAdore via a Yelp deal in early 2015: I requested for a female masseuse and was assigned Sammy. Given my extensive massage experiences in Asia, I am fairly picky: I like a good amount of pressure and longer strokes (e.g., Swedish, Balinese) but not acupressure (Chinese style) or Thai massage (which I jokingly call forced yoga). Sammy was AMAZING: She did a combination of deep tissue (for areas that needed them most such as shoulder and upper back) and Swedish. She skillfully worked on the knots and got rid of many of them within 60 minutes. After that first session, I knew Ive found my masseuse in SF and immediately purchased a package from Spa JAdore. Ive been a regular here for 8 years. Unfortunately business seems to have been slow since Covid, so I thought Id try to boost them with a review.A few other reviews may have mentioned that the spa itself is on the 17th floor (penthouse) of a gorgeous historical building with a balcony that has a splendid view of the city. Parakeets sometimes come hang out there (cute!). The elevators only go up to 16th floors though and guests have to take the stairs up to the penthouse (therefore I dont think its wheelchair accessible). The reception area is decorated seasonally, e.g. for Halloween and the Holidays. Spa JAdore has an online booking system which is fairly convenient. Even though theyve raised their prices in the last few years due to inflation, they are still very reasonably priced for a great spa just off Union Square. Highly recommend this place and Ill continue to come back as long as Sammy is here!

The female massage therapist was great when I first used a Groupon. I called because I forgot about my appointment to apologize. I knew their policy is 48 hours which is absolutely crazy to me and was hesitant about booking. Given this policy, I’d like to see a text message not just an email reminder before the appointment to confirm and remind me of my appointment. as a previous receptionist at a medical clinic, I know it’s always good to emphasize with clients especially since many don’t actually call to apologize and good customer service and empathy go a long way. I thought long and hard before writing this review, but even when the receptionist answered, there wasn’t a helpful tone in his voice. It’s sad because the place has a lot of potential but they completely missed the mark on customer service just via their receptionist and considering I’m still being charged, explaining the policy and apologizing would have been the best route. I didn’t call to dispute the charge by any means just to apologize . I think it does speak volumes that so many appointments are not booked so many people could potentially feel the same way, but after reading further reviews , on Groupon, I won’t be returning. This place had lots of potential but for me, it just didn’t hit the mark. I also won’t be frequently businesses any longer with 48 hour cancellation policies especially when they are making it hard to cancel online these days (not this business just in general. I did not try to cancel this online) I feel like to a certain extent, sure life can happen. It’s not ideal but emphasizing towards the customer goes a long way and would have had me back however after this experience, I just had a bad experience. If the customer service was better, I’d return. There are places with more reasonable policies that send text message reminders. Perhaps a solution could be charging more for some flexibility in scheduling and having better customer service skills.

I purchased a Groupon to this spa during the holidays, but have been too busy to use it. Since the expiration date was getting close, I called to make a reservation using the Groupon.The receptionist told me that there were no appointments available before the Groupon expires, and that I would have to pay an extra $40 to use it after the expiration date.I asked him if he could be flexible, and still allow me to use the Groupon after the expiration date, since the Groupon was still valid at the moment but they didnt have any availability before the expiration.He told me it was my fault for waiting so long to use the Groupon, and that he wouldnt allow me to use it after the expiration. His lack of customer care and empathy really caught me off guard. He also kept insisting it was a Groupon promotion, not [his] promotion, as if his business hadnt chosen to make the Groupon available.His business gave me a timeframe in which to use the Groupon, and I tried to use it during that timeframe. However, when there was no availability, he criticized me several times, and was unwilling to work with me to make the best out of the situation. It was the opposite of customer service.I had been looking forward to trying out this spa. Yes, I waited to use the Groupon, but I was still within the stated timeframe. It had not expired. Given the poor customer service over the phone, I have no interest in going there or giving them my business.

My son kindly gave me 2 Groupon massages for Spa Jadore - I have now been twice and both times was lucky enough to have Ilea for the massages. He is a true expert and has amazing hands to work out the stress and the knots. He loves to chat ( as do I, so I was fine with it - I am sure if you ask not to chat he would oblige) A wonderful and one of the best massages I have ever had! Dont miss it!

Me and my friend were super excited about getting massage. Unfortunately, for both of us it was the worst massage ever. Both of us couldn’t wait to get out. Based on other good reviews maybe we just didn’t get lucky. We enjoyed lookin at the parrots on the balcony though.

I came here for the first time a couple weeks ago, seeking a relaxing massage during a stressful time in my life. The masseur was incredibly friendly, but almost too much so, as he continued talking to me throughout the first half of the massage. I finally said something and was then able to enjoy the massage in peace, but could not fully relax. The actual massage I received was incredible and definitely one of the best Ive had.

I’ve been here twice to see Ilya and had the best massages I’ve ever had! After my first 90 min massage, I booked another one for three hours!He has a huge kit of essential oils and will customize the aroma based on your needs. He also has a really firm hand and gives such an excellent deep tissue that leaves me feeling like absolute butter.I love this place and will be back any time I’m in SF!

The Spa can be a bit hard to locate as its inside the building of a medical centre. Once in the spa has a lovely view. Do ensure that you check out the terrace view. The massage was very relaxing. The therapist took time to understand my pain points and focus on them. Overall after a long day of walking I walked out feeling much better :)Note - you need to book your appointments via their website beforehand.

I was visiting from Chicago and after much review, I found this place to be affordable (they had a Black Friday deal) and it had great reviews. It was a little odd going in because it didnt look like a typical spa and appears to be an office for several services (aromatherapists and other doctors). The lobby is really cool the way its decorated. The room my massage was in was great, clean, comfortable and professional. The massage from Dario was fantastic! My boyfriend had another lady and he liked his, but didnt rave about it as much as I did about Dario. Next time Im in San Francisco, I will be returning! They still have some great deals for 60 minute massages. We got a 60 minute Swedish massage. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I had about 5 massages from the lovely staff at Spa JAdore. I always come with my girlfriend and we continue to come back because the massages are always good and they always have specials so their prices are always very competitive. We dont bother taking a risk of getting a crappy massage at other spas. The building is well decorated and relaxing. The beds are very clean and does not smell. I only wish they had more availability because youll need to book in advance.

I first went to Spa JAdore over a year ago after being recommended by a friend and then found a deal with LivingSocial that I couldnt pass up. The facility is very nice, but the people could be a little friendlier. The massages were okay. I went a few times because I had a 3-massages deal. It felt very rushed, like the masseuse couldnt get done quick enough. I wouldnt call it outstanding and I really would not pay the full price that they charge if I didnt have a deal of some sort. Luckily, they are always having sales, so thats great if you like going there.I didnt have the best experiences, but it was well over 12 months ago, so maybe things have changed. I myself love the i-spa, but they charge a fortune for a 60-90 minute massage.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! This place is WONDERFUL and PEACEFUL, I LOVED EVERY minute of it. I did the 60 minute deep message session, super relaxing and customer service was spot on. She asked what level of pressure for my comfort and oh boy the knots in my shoulders and back was released. She made sure I was comfortable and satisfied. I will most definitely be returning and I live two hours away. Oh and ended it with a nice cup of hot green tea. Everyone is different with massages but for a person who has high level stress and built up pressure this was needed and appreciated. I could go on and on, MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND, its on the 17th floor. Self-care and wellness is priority , toodles!!

Ive used deals for Spa JAdore both for myself and my boyfriend several times. My best massage was with Simon but Ive had other people as well. They have all been professional and tailored to my needs. The place is clean, calm and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone.

I had a massage with Dario a while back and absolutely loved it and immediately bought a deal he offered me after the massage. Unfortunately, I have been traveling so much this year that I have not been able to go since the times I have been back in SF I have had no luck with booking an appointment. I wanted to gift my boyfriend a massage when he was visiting me but again, had no luck with booking a massage at the time. I guess thats a good sign that they are so busy! I love very deep massages and Dario is great! I am looking forward to going back and hoping they honored what I already bought!

My Spa JAdore experience was great! I had my eyebrows threaded for the first time and they were done perfectly. She was very precise and quick, so there was little pain. She was also very knowledgable about my skin and what would be best for taking care of my face. She gave me a great deal on a facial, but it was still too expensive for me unfortunately. When I decide to treat myself and let myself spend that money, I would love to go back there for a facial!

Spa JAdore is great. I initially bought a group on to try it out and loved it. Ive been back at least 6 times since. Arselie always does my massage and she is amazing. She always begins the session by asking where my troubled spots are, and then she focuses on those areas to work out the tightness and soreness in the muscles. At the end of the session, I feel so much better. The space is also excellent - a very soothing and relaxing environment. Overall, I highly recommend Spa JAdore.

My boyfriend bought me a groupon deal for my birthday which included three 1 hour massages. While every masseuse I had was very good and the massages themselves were great, the overall of experience of working with Spa JAdore wasnt great.Trying to get someone on the phone to make an appointment was one of the toughest problems. While they do have online booking, there are never any appointments available which is why I wanted to call to talk to someone. When I finally got an appointment and went for my massage, I could hear construction and other people in the next door offices over the music that was playing for my massage, which was pretty distracting when you are trying to relax.Overall, I probably would not go back here again.

Every time Ive gone to Spa JAdore, Ive left feeling extremely relaxed and pampered. The waiting area is comfortable and clean with a soothing waterfall, and the massage rooms are dark and warm creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing massage. Every time Ive gone for a massage, the therapists have worked out my knots and made me feel fantastic!

I first heard of Spa JAdore through a Groupon deal and yes, at first, I was a bit skeptical but my worries vanished after I scheduled my appointment. It was an easy and clear process scheduling my appointment using their online booking system, being able to see which days and times were available -- and I highly recommend scheduling in advance.Prior to my appointment, I received a phone call, confirming my appointment. On the day of the appointment, I didnt know what to expect. But I was impressed by the cleanliness of the space and simple but cozy reception area. The staff was also courteous and kind.As for my massage, it was extremely relaxing and I left feeling stress free. I would definitely go back in the near future, the next time Im in San Francisco or when time permits!Spa JAdore truly deserves five stars!

I had a massage with Dario today and I can honestly say that it was the best massage that I have received in a very long time! Dario is very professional and knowledgable & managed to get all my knots out. I try to have a massage at least once a month and have only now, after a year and a half of living in SF, found my massage therapist. The location is perfect and the salon lovely and very calming. Ive received both a facial and a massage here, along with my mother. Id have to say the facial was very professionally done- all steps and products were explained. It was also a very relaxing experience, along with the environment. I enjoyed the massage as well. The only drawback was that when then receptionist had asked me if my mother preferred a male or female masseuse, and I told them a female, she still booked a male, and my mother ended up not receiving a massage, and then later had to go back on another day. Overall, pleasant experience!!

Ive been here a couple of times for the deep tissue massages. I exercise a ton, always sore all over. I tried different places in the city. Didnt quite love them. Tammy at Spa JAdore is excellent! Ive had a few massages at Spa JAdore and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience each time. Ive worked with mutliple therapists and have always had a high quality, relaxing massage. The spa is an incredibly peaceful place and I feel like I get a good value for their services. Highly recommended!

Everything from the first point of contact to walking out the door was absolutely perfect. You are greeted by a friendly staff, then you wait in a gorgeous sitting area equipped with snacks and water. After only waiting for about 2 minutes, your masseuse comes out, introduces themselves, and takes you back into your room. Ive had 2 deep tissue massages here by 2 different people, and both were phenomenal. The staff is professional and friendly, and you walk out feeling rejuvenated. To put this place into context, Ive been to other similar spas around the area, and not had as good of an experience.

After trying Spa JAdore with a Groupon almost two years ago, I have been going ever since for both massages and the occasional facial. Their massage staff is very attentive and talented- they are keen to individualize their work towards your needs, and they always seem to remember my preferences without me needing to remind them! I also love going to them for my skin because they use great, natural products and I always leave with a free sample and suggestions for home care. They reward their loyal customers well. My only complaint is it is sometimes hard to book online, but that is usually because they are so in-demand, which really just speaks to how many other people like them. Sometimes if you call day of you can get a walk-in if there is a cancellation. They go above and beyond in customer service, like when my scheduled masseuse was out sick so they gave me a free facial on the spot in addition to rescheduling! I send their promos to all my friends and havent felt the need to go anywhere else, even though I now live all the way in Oakland.

I have been back to see Dario again and again and each time the experience is better than before! His massage is amazing! He works out all my tension and knots and leaves me feeling refreshed and ready to take on whatever waits for me outside his peaceful room. I purchased 5 more massages and cant wait for my next appointment! Thank you Dario!!!

Dario is a fantastic practitioner. He is so knowledgeable about the body and has helped me identify the source of my pain and soreness. He offers exercises that I can do at home and is available for quick adjustments as needed. Ive started to see him regularly, as I always feel great after my massage. The spa is lovely and the staff are all quite professional and very nice. This is my go-to place!

Spa JAdore is our favorite Go To for a great massage. The staff have all worked wonders and it has consistently been a good experience. Simon is very friendly and accommodating. Glad they have returned to the former space which has a great view and is very Zen.

OMG!!! Absolutely loved my experience with the service I received here! The view from the penthouse is spectacular! The reception area when you first walked in is comfortable and welcoming. They offered fresh citrus water while you filled out paperwork and waited for the masseuse and afterwards. The room I was led too was gorgeous, decorated with birch wood tree limbs and an outdoor feel that was very comfortable. The massage table was heated and had extra padding which was super cozy. Ilya listened to what I had said about pressure and asked if everything was okay. I very much enjoyed my time here. I would highly recommend this Spa to everyone who is visiting or lives in the San Francisco area. This is my go to place for when i visit. :)

My boyfriend and I loved coming to Spa JAdore, its a shame we dont live in the area anymore, but when we did, we would come once a month since there were always such great deals. Its easy to book an appointment online and theyre located on the penthouse floor which makes for nice views on their outdoor balcony. Arcely was always able to work out most of the bfs knots and put him right to sleep and Ive gotten a massage from most of the therapists there, they all have their own special technique. We always leave the spa feeling more at peace and relaxed and ready to move on with our day (possibly after taking a nap). I cant wait to make my next appointment when Im back in town.

Ive had several massages at Spa JAdore, mostly from Arcely and Dario, both of whom do a great job. The spa itself is quiet and serene. The massages are a bit pricey, but they frequently run 2-for-1 promos on GroupOn and such, so you can definitely bring the price down.

I bought a deal for 3 massages here. The first two were okay. The third one, I was disappointed with. I forget her name, but she was an older lady from Europe. It was suppose to be a hot stone massage and being trained as a therapist, I can be pretty critical when it comes to massages. The issue wasnt the massage itself, although it was very good either, it was that when she was massaging my back, she took it upon herself to pull the sheet down to massage my glutes and pull my underwear down without even asking me if she could. A little warning that she was going to be undressing me wouldve been courteous although totally unprofessional in any massage setting. AND (yes it doesnt end there...) when she was flipping me over, instead of standing at the side of the massage bed, she stood at my head and held the sheet so high she could see everything. Im not saying this because Im uncomfortable with my body. I walk around naked in the gym locker room and dont mind nudity, but when youre getting a massage, this is not appropriate behavior. This is unacceptable behavior.

I love this place because it has Dario. He is the only massage therapist in the city I keep coming back to, year after year. They consistently have deals and offer excellent value. They do not have a receptionist, which keeps prices down but is inconvenient. They do respond to emails, however, if you need to cancel.

Received a massage from Simon and he was able to break up the tight knots in my shoulders. Going to different masseuses there has only been a couple that provide a good deep tissue massage. Simon was also able to help get my shoulder more mobility after I had surgery on it in the previous year. When I return to Spa JAdore I will be making my future appointment with Simon.

This spa is delightful - quite zen-like. The therapists are truly skilled at relaxation. I fell asleep one time, and that really doesnt happen for me at most massage places. I truly feel rejuvenated each time I visit Spa JAdore!

I had a good experience at Spa JAdore. The massage was great and the room was quiet and clean. However, I thought the massage was pretty pricey, they were in the process of switching locations in the building, so it was a little confusing to find where I was going, and parking was a pain.

An unassuming relaxation spot in the middle of the city. Like most places in the city, you have to enter into a highrise before heading upstairs and walking into a relaxing Oasis. They usually have great deals for massage packages. Staff is friendly and Sammy is a great massage therapist. Walls in the place arent as sealed up, so you do still get some street noise, but hey, thats how it is in older buildings.

I first went here with a deal through living social last year and have been going back with their great deals through their own emails.I am satisfied with the cleanliness and very relaxing atmosphere of their spa. Ive had Sammy and Arcely as my therapists and they are very friendly and will work on the body spots you asked for.

Have received several excellent massages here after trying them out with a Groupon. At the end of my first massage they offered me another deal good for one year. Not a fancy spa, but it gets the job done.

Ive been here twice - once for a prenatal massage and once for a regular massage. Both were great! Aricelie was my regular massage therapist and she was great. She also showed me some good stretches to do on my own to help keep my back loose and relaxed. I forget the name of the male masseuse who gave me the prenatal massage but he gave a Aricelie was my regular massage therapist and she was great. free neck adjustment to help with my lower back pain due to carrying the pregnancy weight.It was relatively easy to schedule an appointment, and they always have great deals via TravelZoo or Groupon or Living Social. Additionally, they were smart and offered a similar deal during the visit so I would come back, which I bought and am looking forward to returning :)Only thing is that they are located in the heart of downtown so its tough to find free/cheap parking but at least there is a nearby garage. Now, if only they would validate :)

This place converted me from being a serial massage-purchaser (Groupon etc) to sticking with their services. Well done and reliable. Also convenient enough to BART or Muni. Had two different masseuses so far, both equally good (though different experiences). Reasonable prices too, especially when you buy package deals which they seem to offer all the time.

I love this place. Im only giving it a four because of the parking and because it doesnt have the extra perks of some spas (no locker room for changing, showering,etc), but ive received two massages (swedish - by Juvi, and prenatal) and they were amazing! The staff is always so nice and welcoming and the women who have given me massages were great - i only wish i remember the name of the woman who gave me a prenatal massage.

Ive been here multiple times and enjoy my massage every time! They often have great deals. I would give them 5 stars if reaching a live person over the phone was not so difficult. Ive exchanged emails with them a few times. Sometimes they dont answer at all.

Simon is a very talented and skilled massage therapist. He supported me through a long period of chronic hip pain as well as recovery after hip surgery. In addition to Simons extensive experience as a massage therapist, he is also an incredibly kind, compassionate, and very hard-working individual.

Ive had a number of massages from Arcely. Shes the only massage therapist Ive ever returned to repeatedly. She never fails to address whatever issues are bothering me, and also offers her wisdom for maintaining the good feelings. Its the best Ive had, and ive had a number over the years

I have been seeing Dario for deep tissue massage for almost a year now. He is my go-to person in SF. Wish that he wasnt as popular because it is tough to get an appointment with him, he is very worth it though!!!!

Decent massage in terms of pressure and relieving knots, but it wasnt very well thought out - e.g different time /techniques used on right leg versus left leg etc. Felt a little uneven afterwards. They dont use oil but a very thick balm which is sticky and doesnt sink into the skin.

I redeemed a deal for Spa JAdore over a year ago and have been returning for regular massages ever since. I have been to so many spas over the years that Ive lost count but I feel like my search for the perfect masseuse is finally over. Simon was trained in the spas of Europe and it absolutely shows in his technique. He works muscle tissue thoroughly and deeply. I can feel the benefits of his massages even a week later! The spa is clean, charming and very soothing, in the heart of the Union Square neighborhood. Im recommending Simon to all my friends, from athletes to business types who spend all day hovering over their computers. He is an incredibly talented masseuse and we are lucky to have someone at his level here in San Francisco.

Reception staff were nice and booking was efficient but, unfortunately, the actual massage was below average. Simplistic technique and no dialogue to understand what I was looking for. Not good value for my money.

My wife’s was decent, mine was not. we had both filled out the form and it was ignored by the our individual masseuses. Also, $120/hr is extremely steep

Slightly whacky place. I got an average massage. Therapist did not listen to what I asked for.

I wanted strong massage but she was too soft. I asked several times but no change.
