I had a terrible experience at this place. The bouncer, behaved unprofessionally with my friend. They allowed my Sikh friend in with his turban, but later harassed him for entering the place wearing it, the bouncer got physical with him. When we complained to the manager, they denied it and asked us to leave. The staff refused to take responsibility for their rude actions. The bouncer also directed racist remarks towards us.
Don’t go to this scam place, they make ppl wait in line in cold chilly night so they can force them to buy vip ticket $40 expensive. Short sighted business minded ppl, they don’t know how much business they are Losing by not letting ppl go in. Look at the long line outside, there is no crowd inside but they make it appear as if they are most busiest place this forcing customers to buy express vip tickets, total scam. I gave up standing in line after 35 min
After 3 hours into bollywood night bouncer came from nowhere and pulled the turban of our Sikh friend. Turban is considered sacred. Worst experience ever.
Saw a woman peeing alongside a corridor by the womens bathroom. The place looks run down.
Really just a hole full of sweat and heat and miserable staff. Not a place you want to be in. The only good part is the decent sound system. Otherwise the staff here thinks they run the show and treat everyone badly. The bartenders do a poor job of making drinks. The air-conditioning doesnt work and makes the place really hot. Plus they stuff 150 people inside when the place is really suitable for 50. Overall, not a fun experience. Try something else. Most of the 5 star reviews posted are fake. Be careful.
Great drinks, great music, nice scene. Cool employees and the girls get down. Not the biggest space but not small either. Went on a Thursday night and it was still cool. Not hella packed. A chill vibe with nice lights and couch seats.
The staff is welcoming.A big turn down is the club itself. We went there for a Bollywood night event and there were water dripping from the vent all over the floor. The DJ sucked big-time.He was playing the worlds worst songs and was not entertaining any requests.
Worst club in Bay Area.Just a box where the DJ plays music from the playlist that you have heard before. There is no difference in partying at your house vs partying at this place, except the exorbitant fee and no in and out policy which is big let down.Would not recommend at all.
Went to Liquid Restaurant and Lounge to listen to a friend DJ, and decided to have dinner while there. I was impressed!!! The food was tasty, and although it was still too early for the party to begin, there was someone in the booth mixing. It was a great way to start my night. Of course I danced my butt off til morning!!
Bollywood night is bad trust me, I dont post negative opinions. Why deal with the unsafe environment when you are in the USA.
The decor and atmosphere is pretty good.Drink prices are not rock bottom, but they are totally acceptable. The crowd, however, is very unpredictable. Sometimes its Nice. Sometimes it is dead. And sometimes it is the kind of crowd that makes you want to run away.I guess the best approach is to pop in on a weekend with a group of people. If the place is happening, go in and enjoy yourself. If not, you can always head out.
The music is nice. The vibe is good only because of the diversity in the croud. The bartenders are extremely slow and not so professional. One could go here on special events.
Came by on a Saturday night. Must have been a slow night in downtown because it was not packed inside which was nice. The look and vibe of the place was cool. The bartender, an older black gentleman, was really awesome and provided great service.
My wife and I went to this place earlier in the week, and it was a very pleasant surprise. My wife is Chinese, and crazy about hot pot, so we have it all the time. We have it at home pretty often, and weve been to just about every hot pot restaurant in the area. So when we heard about this ones $15 deal on Yelp, we had to try it.When we walked in, we actually kind of froze for a bit and thought we ended up in the wrong place. This place doesnt look anything like a typical hot pot restaurant. It is very much a Western style bar, although its a lounge and karaoke bar, so they have a stage but no screens for sports or anything like that. So if music and karaoke are your thing, this is your kind of bar. But they serve hot pot. Its a very unique combination, and it would be very easy to write it off for that reason. Let me say this: youd be doing yourself a disservice not to try this place at least once and decide if its for you. I mean, if you dont want to take kids to a fully stocked bar, I understand. But for adults looking to try a new hot pot place, just do it. Honestly, there arent many places like this anywhere, so I appreciate that its one of a kind. The #1 reason this place gets 5 stars is the woman behind the hot pot. She is fantastic. Weve never been treated better at a restaurant, and she felt completely genuine. Not only did she make and serve everything herself, but she talked to us about all kinds of things. It was also immediately clear she cares very much for her customers. She was telling us how shes trying to balance the types of ingredients with cost because she wants hers to be a better deal than others in the area. She also gave us the special Yelp deal without us even asking and told us how to get it in the future. She repeatedly refilled our milk teas multiple times, which is something other places simply wont do. She not only packed our leftovers to go, but she gave us a separate container of brother as well, and insisted that she wouldnt feel she was providing a service if she didnt. I kid you not, she offers a level of service and kindness that virtually no other restaurant can provide. Granted, we were the only ones there early on a Tuesday, but I can assure you someone like that doesnt just forget about the customers when things get busy.As for the price, the $15 deal is great. Its a flat $15 with tax included for the hot pot, a drink such as milk tea or lemonade, and rice. No other hot pot place comes anywhere close to that deal. They do achieve this by going a little light on the meat and heavy on the cheap ingredients like radish and bean sprouts, but I actually like this because the hot pots at other places leave me way too full. So yeah, this place wins hands down on both price and service. So what about taste? Well, admittedly, it was a bit mixed. But again, weve only been once, so its hard to say. The Japanese sukiyaki soup was easily one of the best weve ever had. It was incredible. Amazing. I highly recommend. The Sichuan mala was alright. It was a bit disappointing considering thats sort of the typical flavor youd expect to be done right. But again, she was fully aware of this and explaining how she was looking to improve it. The soup was spicy, but not in the usual burning way, more like a strong nasal way like black pepper. Not bad, but the sukiyaki was just out of this world by comparison. They have 5 flavors, which I think is actually good because a lot of hot pot restaurants have large menus with multiple confusing options that dont really different much. I fully expect this place to not only have some great flavors, but to improve on the lesser ones over time.So yeah, unfortunately, Im afraid the core Asian audience for hot pots may not give this place the chance it deserves because of its unique premise. But they should, because the price is great, the service is better, and theres no other place like it. If the setting is not for you, so be it. But I highly doubt anyone will regret at least giving it a shot.
The ceiling HVAC was leaking everywhere creating a bad experience. The talent/DJ was good but the management can do so much better!
The aesthetics here are a bit much for me, Im not going to lie. The staff were the nicest humans I thought they were bunnies in people suits though. Also the quality of the cocktails were 10/10
Nice quaint venue! I was attending a friends Bday party there and coming to hear the hosting DJ Traxamillion rip it. The night was live, my friend had chocolate fondue and fruit, along with some other finger foods. I assume it was party of a bday party package but it was a nice set up. There was a champagne toast towards the end of the night sponsored by Luce Belair. It was nice also that, there was a small area to go outside and get a breath of fresh air but I dont think I would want to be caught in this particular club on a packed night unless I had a VIP area or booth. Id visit again
Booked a ticket from event bright of a Bollywood night. But at the gate they were charging $40.Totally got fooled on Friday night!!
Only one server behind the bar, working hard but the place was full and you had to join a line to get service. No restaurant on site now either.
The place is really nice. The drinks prices are somewhat ok, but there is no variations on the music. But otherwise the place is really nice to visit and have a good time with friends.
The place itself is nice but their prices are super ridiculous greedy high prices that little bottle of beer $10 and then on top of that expect a tip?!!!!
We had a scheduled event with a hundred plus people but only one bartender.
Boys dont go there this club for girls music only
Came here for the first time yesterday and I will have to say that its a very cool place to be with the music and the lights. Its almost like a mini rave with the right kind of music, its lit!
Lame place lame music lame people
Nice and spacious lounge with good drinks.
The dj wasnt good on the night that I went, but the vibe, atmosphere, and people were cool. Especially for San Jose
This club is very disgraceful to its customers. Dont waste your time here. Worst club in the area. Do not visit here.
One of the nicest lounge in San Jose (my opinion). Wish a lot of people knew about it. You can host your personal event
Wet floor all through and slippery, AC leaking on our heads. Ok music. Not going again
Worst pub ever seen in my life.. do not visit it ever.. save ur money
I would never go to this establimaent again. I was.out front speaking with the owner and he was speaking negatively in regards to the performs performing that night and the company they keep
Found this place through Appeteasers restaurant crawl. All of the food was great except the pork was dry. Specialty drinks were really good.
Looks nice on the inside. BUT closed when Google says it should be open. Thank you SARS-COVID-19
Worst club in bay area. Dont waste your time here. Filled with negative energy.
Greta place to bring a date because there was no crowd but you still had a live dj
