La Conde is the best miexan restaurant. I eat at La Conde with my boyfriend-to-be-husband. A++ service. I love eating at L aConde. The breakfast tacos felt splendid. My waiter attempted to flirt with me despite my husbands presence. I love the locations ambience. Why visit anotherMexican restaurant? The restaurant is well-staffed with productive personnel. A++ food. My husband ordered the cerviche with red wine. The red wine tasted splendid. Why drink wine from another restaurant? I dont know. Why order on doordash? I dont know.Where is the restaurant located? I dont Know.Why am I writing this review? I dont know.

This place has the best steak Ive ever had in my life. The drinks are beautiful. The food was beyond amazing, and the atmosphere/ customer service was overall great. I would definitely come back.

A very FUN place for food or drinks. Service was great as well! I docked it a star because the food could have been better but you definitely come here for the ambiance and treatment. Prices reflect the service and decor inside. I would come back for a celebratory meal!

I don’t know what the negative reviews are talking about but guys, if you’re looking for a great date spot, this is it. Everything from the ambiance to the drinks makes for an incredible evening. The service is second to none. Drinks were flowing and food was hot. A+++

I was excited after hearing about this place, made reservations through open table. My issue with this restaurant is NOT the price BUT the service. If I’m going to pay $90 for a burger let the taste do justice. Terrible service, you are over crowding the place and not servicing right. Our server came by 2 times throughout the “90 min” they give you there. The woman’s restroom had no toilet paper, no seat covers, no hand soap. (They had baby shampoo to wash your hands) asked someone for toilet paper and never heard back. How? How are you treating customers with so lack of customer service. The drinks are cleverly served and asthetic. Too hyped, you are better off going to a restaurant in West Hollywood where you will get a proper waiter and toilet paper.

Went tonight for my niece birthday. The atmosphere was great . The food was good, but cold the prices for the food was good for me . Royce the waiter he start off rude and when we were ready to order he told us to wait. Hmm but when we start buying drinks his attitude change. I feel for the money you spend you should better customer service . And drinks was whatever need more liquor they shake all liquor in ice so it water it down. Buy drinks because shots are the same price 18 to 75 for shots

Went here for my Birthday they made sure we had a good time!!2 ND Review 3rd visit 2022Quality has gone down, especially with drinks the condesa was 20 dollars it was 4 ounces of punch no bueno. Asparagus appetizers were 3 skinny Asparagus over salted and over seasoned Im sorry just honest opinion I mean make it 4 🤦‍♀️. Steak was good.

La Conde Restaurant is a true drink experience. Between making a wish like a genie in a bottle, filling up on an IV or being the queen that you are, you wont be disappointed with your cocktail experience. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and definitely gives the feel and vibe of a fun night out. You can order anything from sushi to a tomahawk steak, so come with a big appetite and ready to eat. Our waiter Sergio was attentive and a good time. The rules are the rules so when in Rome.....

Ummmm..., were just not welcomed everywhere. It appears 😳 that we dont deserve great service. But the food was, meh. The drinks deserved more alcohol. My burger was salt-te. My friends and sister came here to celebrate our Friends anniversary. It was our 1st time here. The restaurant has a gorgeous atmosphere!! The food was great and drinks are the bomb! Our server was Yohany and she was the best waitress ever!! She treated us like VIP. She gave us a nice tour and took pictures of us. Yohany is so awesome, friendly, very professional and we love her so much!! Thank you Yohany for giving us the best 1st time experience in La Condesa restaurant !!

The food was amazing. I truly enjoyed that. The restaurant was beautiful and the staff are super sweet. I thought it would be like the other restaurant that felt like a party when we ordered the airplane shots or birthday celebration. I assumed and that is my error..BUT let me be clear, this place was wonderful....I paid a lot of money and the food and drinks were worth it...the other place, the food was not good but you get the party vibe.

If you want to get conned, come to La Conde.Gimmicks galore is what youll find here where all effort is in showmanship, leaving none for quality food. I ordered the enchiladas, which came out cold, tasteless, and felt like they had been thawed from a frozen pack with sauce placed after. The beans looked like hospital food. The prime burger, a seemingly safe option, was left with much to be desired.Expect an automatic 20% gratuity fee, as well as a 2% convenience fee; because its convenient to charge such a thing.La Conde plays the market of those who prioritize a good post to the detriment of everything else.

They had some good drink options but they did not have a lot of food options. the waiter was great and provide great service, the drinks were all right, it is definitely one of those Instagram Snapchat social media places where it’s like great for pictures but then you’ll have to stop somewhere else to get some food

Absolutely loved this place! Waiter was very attentive the food was amazing! Went for my husbands birthday and they did a little extra cuz i asked! And they delivered to my expectations. Only complaint would be how expensive it is! But it was well worth every penny! Oh and they have valet cash inly but does accept venmo! It seems family oriented but definitely some where to go if your celebrating a special occasion.

Attended this location for a friends birthday. First time coming here and excellent customer service. It’s a nice place with great music. Had rib eye steak it was good. Margaritas are always great!

Beautiful place 😍 amazing service. The waiter was very attentive he made sure sure we was ok 👍. The food was great as well. Drinks were delicious 😋. Definitely a high class place to eat.

Would not recommend coming here. For starters, our party was sat almost an hour after our reservation time. The server got my drink order wrong and argued that it wasn’t. She also only took 3 people’s orders (we had a party of 8) then left and was no where to be found. Someone else brought the first 3 orders to the table, so we asked her if she could grab our server so we could put in the rest of our orders. She asked us who our server was and never sent anyone back. We had to ask 2 other people for help and finally the server came back and seemed annoyed. Asking for food recs felt like pulling teeth. I finally settled on the Diablo shrimp which was $40 for a disgusting mess of a presentation. Honestly tasted like shrimp and tomato paste. I also ordered a side of rice for an additional charge, which was basically a pile of hard dried out white rice. Ultimately the service was non existent, the food is absolutely disgusting, and the prices are honestly insane for what you get. Also seems completely out of place for Santa Monica. Do not eat here.

Very interesting place!Great service, food was good, we liked the prawn appetizer, LA conde cocktail and the ribeye.Taking one star down because the music was a bit too loud even though it was early, we could barely talk, maybe it was just that specific night.

Great atmosphere, okay food, okay staff. Beautiful restaurant. The food is just okay. The staff was friendly and outgoing at first but then they lost our credit card for over 45 minutes. During that time they had an attitude with us because we werent leaving, told us we hadnt paid yet, and then argued that it was our fault that the card got lost because we gave it to the wrong person - even though we placed it in the card holder on the table and they took it. Valet parking is cash only.

I regret to say that my girlfriends birthday celebration at La Conde was utterly disappointing. The service was shockingly neglectful. Our server seemed disinterested, attending to other tables while neglecting ours. Despite being a party of 8, we were rarely checked on throughout the night.The food experience was equally dismal. My steak arrived without its side dishes, and I had to wait until the end of the meal to receive them. Water refills were sparse, and several in our party received incorrect or improperly prepared meals.Managements response was abysmal. Despite our numerous complaints and the fact that my girlfriend had brought them business, there was no attempt to make amends. Even after negotiating, we received only a half-hearted effort to compensate for the numerous issues we encountered.Overall, the poor service and subpar food made the entire experience deeply regrettable. I would strongly advise against celebrating any occasion at La Conde. Save yourself the trouble and choose a restaurant where both the service and food meet basic standards of quality and care.

Came here to celebrate and I was not disappointed. We had fun, servers were great, drinks were fantastic. I loved the make-a-wish drink. Def. Coming back

Food was excellent, staff is awesome! Very pricey. But nothing tops the atmosphere and experience. From the airplane shots, to the smoking drinks, and they end it all with bringing your check in a treasure box, that is smoking when you open it. Exceptional place!!

This is NOT 4 stars. Cute looking place but the food is terrible. Now in fairness - we didn’t have the beef which seems to be their thing. The menu is def not “Latin”. It’s odd - heavy steak, seafood, sushi and burgers. I ordered the cauliflower and they brought out not one but 2 tasteless heads of cauliflower 🤮If you’re a foodie - this is a pass for sure. Maybe come for drinks, music and festive atmosphere - but def eat somewhere else.

I loved the lively atmosphere and La Condesa looks very pretty! Their presentation for drinks is great (La Conda drink is a favorite!). They also have a tequila cart. The only drawback is that I had trouble getting my food prepared gluten free so would not recommend for celiacs.

I was very disappointed this place needs to do waaaaay better, our reservation was at 9pm, we didnt get our drinks until an hour after seating down (not crowded at all) we had to ask several times for a heater even going to ask the manager to turn them on because we asked so many times. My sister ordered a drink that they served her half full (see pics) after an hour and a half of waiting we finally placed our food order. They brought out our food at different times, so food was cold. The ranch wasnt ranch, they got our food order wrong had to ask for them to remove it off our bill and also had to come back 3 times to verify our food order but it was still wrong. I wont be back. I think this place is new but theres a basic level of customer service that needs to be in place before you even open up. They put too much effort into the display of the drinks for them not to taste like anything. Then the bill came and they over charged us for EVERYTHING! The prices on the menu are not what they charged us, we order 3 steak tacos which the menu indicated was $6 so it shouldve been $18 but they charged us $45! DONT COME BACK HERE!

None of what I wanted to order for my entree was available. Another person apart of our party had an issue with a that wasn’t available, but the restaurant refused to substitute… Strange. We got here 2 hours after opening & it was dead, so how they weren’t prepared for patrons on a Friday evening is frustrating.

Starting things off positive the atmosphere and presentation of this place is top notch, but that does come at an extreme cost. Menu prices are quite high for the portion size you will receive. Our table had both Salmon and Mignons skewers that were both maybe 4-6oz of meat at best. The Diablo shrimp for a price of $40 comes with around 6 pieces of average size shrimp. The steak is where this restaurant goes horribly wrong. Selling prime steak for steakhouse prices as well as boasting some top end cuts of meat should mean the steak would be comparable. Unfortunately out of our four steaks every single one of them was miserable to eat. Tasted only of salt and had a dull grey appearance as if the cut was boiled and then lightly seared. The cuts of meat were also barely what Id consider prime and were about 1/2-3/4 of an inch thick. If the portion to price wasnt bad enough the restaurant waits until half way through your dining experience to tell you an automatic gratuity of 20% is added to every bill over $200. Given the prices on this menu I doubt a table of two with drinks entrees and sides could stay under $200. Tips should be earned and not guaranteed.The wait staff and drinks were by far the only pleasant experience of this whole place. Our server was kind and professional and made the experience less miserable than it already was. Definitely makes sense why the place was completely empty during dinner time on a Monday.

I came here for my cousin birthday. They serve me raw chicken and didn’t do anything but gave me a free drink. I was so upset. I ask to speak to the manger, he was clueless and he didn’t event know what was going on. Now I’m sick from eating raw chicken. Don’t go here , they finna be shut down after I get through!!!!

Friend and i were visiting santa monica and tried la conde for dinner and the food was very nasty me and my friend got very sick, i had to throw up in the restroom, our waitress was vey nice but unfortunately the food is horrible

The bill was $416 for just my boyfriend and I. Food and drinks were very expensive which were not even up to par. Waiter charges a 20% gratuity fee which they don’t tell you about. Don’t be fooled by the other reviews like I did. I won’t be coming back.

*BRUNCH DATE* $170 WITH TIP TOTAL. 2 people.Brought my husband for his bday. Arrive around 11:20AM it wasn’t busy at all, got seated right away. Our server Sergio was very nice and attentive, always around for anything we needed. My husband got the steak and eggs and LOVED IT, I got the chilaquiles and honestly the best restaurant chilaquiles Ive had! They tasted like home. We got 2 mimosas, and 2 cocktail drinks. The decorations was gorg, service was amazing, not to mention they had complimentary mariachi playing any song you want!!!

This place is the definition of extra, there’s not a single thing they’ll serve without putting an interesting twist or performing a small trick. The ambiance is nice and the food is good. Go here for an occasion rather than a normal dinner to get a real feel of the vibes they offer.

Very pretty place but 0/10 would recommend. Came here on a Saturday Night with friends. Food took forever and still managed to come out so cold (I got ribeye steak + mash potatoes). Honestly had to send it back & asked them to make it fresh or at least hot… still came back cold. On top of that, the food barely had any flavor for my dish and my friends who got the New York strip and lobster w/ pasta. The price for the quality of food does not make sense. Also, there was only like 1 waiter for soo many tables which made everything so slow and hard to get their attention. Seriously would never go back there.

The $$ you are being charged to eat here goes to the decor, the vibe, & the overrated cocktails, NOT the food. I’m sorry, but if I’m paying close to $200 to eat ANYWHERE, that food better be top notch. This was not the case at La Conde. Truffle fries were cold, steak was cooked correctly but somehow cold at the same time? It was bizarre. Best thing was the cocktails and even those were meh.On top of all of this, our server never told us that gratuity was included so I tipped an additional 20% ON TOP of the 18% included gratuity. Fortunately, I straightened that out before we left because I wasn’t about to get robbed out of any more $$ than I already had that night.If you want to pay high dollar to make a cool TikTok video, then more power to you but I will be genuinely surprised if this place is still open in a year.

Great food, our server wasnt attentive & slow with service when he was paying attention. We came there for a friends birthday, the restaurant literally asked what the occasion is & so they knew it was her birthday. Yet we didnt get the birthday treatment this restaurant has a reputation for. It was really disappointing & they wanted to charge us a $50 cake fee... after not singing happy birthday. The service being slow was incredibly disappointing as we were sitting at the table in front of the bar, which receives a lot of traffic. servers walking back and forth, etc. Our server also took some of our orders, left for 10 minutes, then took everyone elses order. This led to everyone not being able to eat at the same time. The cheese shower burger was amazing though.

Very unprofessional staff ! Rude and disrespectful! My first and last attempt to make a reservation at this low class place.Either the owner treats and takes care of the workers very bad that they transfer the same to customers or the staff are not for customer service business !I made a reservation and it was on speaker and had the entire group witness the conversation for making the reservation for specific time ! Then arrived at the location and the ( if you can call her a lady )lady was like there was no call the whole day today and not such reservation in a very rude and unwelcoming tone! And then when we finally were able to find a table for a big group, she gave us a time frame that we needed to be out !!!!Is this for real?Very unwelcoming atmosphere and service and low class . Dont waste your money and time here people you deserve better .

I visited for my birthday. The atmosphere is fun and the drink presentation is very IG worthy. However, the food is disappointing. Many of my guests ordered the steak or salmon which came out cold and dry or both. We returned the steak and they simply warmed it up. I got the Diablo Shrimp and the dish was such a let down I was in disbelief. It was not spicy and had very little flavor to top it off it was cold. The only dishes we actually enjoyed were the Brussel sprouts and the peruvian ceviche. Will not be returning for food. Maybe drinks. Be prepared to OVER pay for what youre going to get.

Birthday party upstairs, service was awesome, food awesome and drinks awesome. Everyone staff so friendly and prices not bad, dont expect a $20 meal, this is very high end and worth it.

Server was nice. Octopus was super yummy! Salad with burnt goat cheese on top was horrible. I had them bring me goat cheese not cooked so I could at least eat my salad. It was overly sweet but the cold goat cheese even out those flavors. The Chef got made because I told the server they made my steak rare instead of medium and refused to cook it over. Im upset no Manager to the table. The server came back and told me the Chef said that he made it right and refuse to make me another one. Not good at all! I left starving. Also I ordered a Mai Tai and the brought me a Long Island Ice tea with mint it. Wow! I am a celebrity chef I really hate to complain but this restaurant really sucked to me! I left extremely disturbed. Taking the food off the check is not a solution. They could have offered me something else. I also have been a director food and beverage for many years and I was really upset about the way it was taking care of. The one time I finally get to go to a birthday dinner with my friends and this happens. We were a big party and wont be back!

I had the lamb and the lobster Mac and cheese. The lobster Mac was ok and the overall service was not good. The drinks had no liquor in my opinion. Looks like a place they would be too notch they get a new management and staff over hall. It could be a prime location. Look at these reviews take action make money. Grow.

Mediocre food that arrives cold and manager who doesnt care. People often go with large parties and pay a premium for service/food/atmosphere. Unfortunately, management is okay with food arriving cold or subpar meat that definitely is not Prime and does nothing about it.

La Condesa was just recently opened. The concept is great, restaurant was decorated in an exquisite taste! However, the personnel is very young and not properly trained for the type of restaurant and the type of customers this is intended for. Menu is a Latin American gourmet one, waiters were friendly & polite but for them not to know what they are serving is unacceptable. Food is a bit expensive, but worth it, I loved my food. I am the type of customer that asks details about the menu if I dont know what type of food it is. Service needs to be highly improved. And a more extensive variety of wine list needs to be considered/upgraded. When you are a wine connoisseur you know exactly what to ask for. And tonight was not the best experience with the wine my friend and I tried. Loved the ambiance but needs improvement with what I just shared. And last observation, in case it matters to you. The clientele that I most saw in the restaurant was between their 20s & 30s. My friend and I noticed it right away, but we were fine even though we are a mature couple. All I can say is that we enjoyed the experience and just made the best out of it! If you are adventurous, you may feel its worth trying!!

I honestly don’t know how this place doesn’t have 5 solid stars. It’s a wonderful restaurant full of upbeat, happy music and I just had the most lovely waitress you could ever want -Sophia. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is upscale. Every staff member regardless their position made me feel special. Definitely a place with upbeat energy yet with a low lighting dinner feel. It’s a happy place and we need more of that today, right?

Honestly, My Experience was AMAZING!!!! I usually read reviews before I go to a new restaurant and the reviews here disappointed me, but actually being there and experiencing it myself I realized that nothing negative in those reviews were close to reality. Manuel, the bartender made the best drinks Ive tried so far. The presentation and the taste was amazing!! Our waiter Mike was so professional, very positive, energetic and you could tell that he was happy to be working there!! You rarely meet waiters who give you positive vibes! And whoever was choosing the music playlist KUDOS to you!!! I will definitely go back again and recommend everyone to go as well!!!!

Had a great experience. Food was great, service was amazing. Ambience was everything. We were served by Rosa & Jeff. They were both so sweet & so attentive. Drinks were good & definitely unique. A little pricey depending what you get but it’s definitely worth it & you’re getting what you’re paying for. You’re being served in fancy unique ways so expect to pay for that. If you’re gonna come just make the best of it & splurge for the night. The manager JC was very inviting & the whole team was honestly the best. Will definitely be coming back.

Everything as far food, service and ambiance is concern was fabulous. However they had this OBNOXIOUS super loud Mexican music playing all night during our dinner and we were even seating in the upstairs area which is not much happening. We could hardly hear each other! And every time we asked if they could bring the sound down, the excuse was that there is only one volume for the entire restaurant and is set by the DJ on the first floor! OMG. we wont go back!

They poisoned my girlfriend. Sadly after being very clear about a danger allergy, then double checking when the food arrived it had this ingridients that cause a severe allergic reaction. We asked for a replacement and the replacement also had the ingridients causing further allergic reaction. Eat at your own risk. Definitely avoid!

If your just looking for a place for cute ig photos and fluffed experience then this is perfect. The food however is not good. First my server was very friendly but not attentive at all took forever to get any service and after appetizers took forever to order main dish and even longer to get the check. Food started with the Peruvian scallops which were not good at all. Then for main got the king crab. This was good. It comes with a mustard sauce which is comparable to the mustard sauce in the canned sardines in mustard. Same flavor. We also tried the sushi forget the name but it was the one with shrimp tempura. It was awful. The rice tasted hard/stale. And the roll itself didnt have any flavor.

The ambience was up beat. Fairly dark but very entertaining. They provide live entertainment such as fire tricks! My salad and tacos met it’s expectations! The waiters were very helpful and provided great customers!

Service last night was horrible. Waited over 15 mins to get drink orders and then a hour and 20 mins for food after being told appetizers were going to be quick. A salad , aguachile and fries took that long which was crazy. We asked the front desk for a manager our waiter for a manager waited over an hour and no one came. Apparently 5 people called out and they must have worked in the kitchen because the food came out dry not hot not flavorful it was really a horrible experience. Ive been to La Conde DTLA and had a much better experience. The water was really nasty and filmy as if soap was mixed in. The cups on the table were dirty. Super disappointed especially because we were a nice sized party we were forced to pay 80 in gratuity for horrible service and really couldnt go anywhere else after getting the food cus we arrived at 10:40 and didnt leave till 1:30am. Ruined our whole night we had a party bus to celebrate and never got to use it spending most of our night here and not even satisfied. It was nothing offered to really help the experience we had just if u dont like something we will take it off. This happens in the restaurant industry where 5 ppl call off and the manager was overwhelmed. Really not our problem and thats why more ppl should be hired so things like this wouldnt happen the restaurant wasnt even that busy. I hope you guys fix this.

I’d like to start with saying that I was very excited to eat at La Condesa for the first time.We celebrated a family members birthday, of course we made reservations a few days prior. Despite the fact that we had reservations (10pm)it took them nearly 1 hour and a half to sit us in a decent table. At first we were seated in the VIP room which is an enclosed room that made no sense to us for the fact that it defeats the purpose of enjoying the restaurant and it’s environment. When asked to be seated elsewhere we were then seated in a corner lounge and were able to order drinks while we waited for a decent table. That also sucked because when we ordered drinks it took them nearly 30 to 35 minutes to bring the drinks over when the bar was literally steps away. In addition there was never any communication on the managers or hosts behalf with regards to our wait time or approximate time to be seated. However we were just told that the kitchen will close at 12:30am which forced us to order food super late although we still weren’t seated on a dining table. Overall I have to admit the food is very good nevertheless due to the lack of communication and poor customer service I will not be returning to his place anytime soon. Very eye catchy but needs a lot of improvement and professionalism.

I’ve come here for awhile now. And they served my wife and I rotten steak and that was also given to our toddler. First they said it’s a Normal smellBut we trusted them. But as we digged in moreHad a horrible smellThen they confirmed it was rottenEven the Waitress told us“I hate when they sometimes serve rotten steak I told them it’s not worth doing that”Now we don’t come here. Definitely this place does not disappoint with Amazing service! I reserved for a party of 12 and we enjoyed service, drinks and delicious food. I was skeptical at first second guessing if they would accommodate our large party. All I can say is their service is the best and decor is unique for a great dinner experience. That Tomahawk and mash potatoes has me daydreaming.

If youre looking to have a club atmosphere while eating dinner this could be your spot. Did not expect the atmosphere on my first visit. Food was good, but I thought the variation of food cuisine was a lil broad trying to appeal to everyone with different ethnic food choices! But if youre looking to have dinner before you go out on the town, you can definitely start the evening off with their party/club atmosphere! But be prepared to spend some $$$$!

Do not come here if youre looking to have a good steak and hospitality. They were not what you would expect from a place this expensive. We came to celebrate my wifes birthday and we here highly disappointed.Forget about tasting like rib eyes, our steaks didnt even look like rib eyes. They were tough and lean and over cooked. They were really more like top sirloins.The server had an attitude and was rude when we told him the steaks didnt seem like rib eyes. He and the chef were defensive and argumentative, they didnt seemed aim to please or interested in meeting their customers expectations at all.When we got the check we were suprised with a 48$ charge for water. It wasnt disclosed that the water wasnt complimentary when we asked for it. The manager compd the water when we brought it up but its pretty shady that they didnt make it clear to begin with that it wasnt free.Just go somewhere else dont fall for the fancy drinks you see on tic toc. You can get a better steak a The Cheesecake Factory

Its an experience! The servers have a lot of energy and do their job with delight. Its a fun place. Highly recommend it...if you do not mind a loud dining experience...DJ and all. The food was great. The drinks...even greater but pricey. Everything is pricey these days anyway so they still get 5 stars.

I was excited to come to this restaurant as it presented a lot of potential, it’s very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. However, the reason for a low rating is the lack of professionalism among your hostess Claudia and Priscilla. I highly suggest hiring individuals who have experience in the restaurant business. Both hostess do not know how to keep track or handle clientele traffic, which is making your establishment look undesirable. There is a clear lack of communication among both these ladies and Mike who was running around seating everyone without clear direction on who was next. Based off previous reviews I’m not the only one with the same opinion. My party had a reservation, we waited over an hour to be seated. But what bothered me was that 5 parties that came in after us with reservations later than ours were seated right away, including 2 parties that were walk ins. This was all handled by Claudia, who I’m assuming is your main hostess. It took one of my friends to speak up for them to “realize” they missed us even when we were standing right in front of their faces. The only good experience from this night was our waiter Saul. He exemplified amazing service and was attentive to us the whole time which was much appreciated.

Food is great. I mean top tier. Everything you try has it’s on flavor to it. Drake offered us great service and made sure that everything was to our liking. I’d highly recommend trying this place for dinner.

I don’t leave reviews, like never but I felt compelled to. Make sure you wear shoes because they won’t let you in. Who would have thought that wearing sandals in Santa Monica on a 90 degree day that you’d be forced to walk across the street to target to buy shoes. Sorry my exposed feet are going to ruin some trendy bitch’s instagram. Strike one. Strike two was the having to wait for the whole party to arrive to be seated. Strike three was the 50 dollar corkage fee. My brother came in sandals after I just purchased shoes and the bouncer was on him immediately. I thought the point of a restaurant was to let people spend money at your establishment. Anyway never going back lost my business. Did not even try the food and the cocktail we ordered was gross. Moral of the story don’t be too trendy for you own good.

We almost didnt go because we had read some negative reviews. Thank goodness we still went. Serve was fantastic. They brought the food out in a timely matter and came checked on us regularly. We had the Guacamole and lobster with pasta. Both were delicious. Did I mention the drinks.. wow! Visually stunning and great tasting

The staff was awesome starting with the hostess to all the all the service staff. Ordered the rib eye guacamole. Probably the worse guacamole I’ve ever had . It had no flavor!!! Had sushi, was decent, but what sucked was the alcohol. How the hell are you going to serve me an $18 Moscow mule only for it to taste like lemonade. Mine and my wifes drink both tasted like the alcohol went through it on stilts

Dont waste your time coming here!!!!!! Over priced bad service, and half filled drinks. The only upside of dinner today was that our waiter was pretty great til the end when he made us wait 20 mins to get our check when the place was pretty dead. When we asked where all the Mexican cuisine options were he told us that they were a stake house and only had tacos. When we got to the location and let them know we had reservations we were told that we could sit at the bar because they dont reserve tables. After leaving because we reserved a table online, we were told that they had a table available magically I would skip this place and spend money somewhere else!

The atmosphere was amazing. My friends and I had a reservation so there wasn’t a long wait. The person who sat us (a lady) informed us right away that we only had a 90 minute max time at the table (I figured because the place was packed). The waiter was ok at best, friendly but super slow and incapable of handling a party of 6. We all ordered alcohol beverages, and my friend who ordered wine got her drink almost 20 minutes after everyone else.Food- we tried the steak guacamole and the dish was super bland. It needed salt, salt and more salt. I love my food seasoned. My friend and I ordered the lobster Mac n cheese and there was no lobster in either of our dishes. I immediately notified the waiter and told him, I think the kitchen forgot my lobster in the lobster Mac n cheese and his response, “ it’s there it’s just little, it’s not going to be big pieces of lobster”. Disappointed! My friend then ordered a cup of water and another friend a different drink- once again the drinks came almost 20 minutes later, and that’s after being reminded. Towards the end the waiter could tell how irritated we were so he gave us a sob Staley saying how he was sleepy and haven’t had a break. I actually felt bad, however the service could have better and the food…. I’ve had better.

Expectations were met and excelled. The staff here are great, making you feel the vibe and ambience of the restaurant while making you feel like you are at home. Out server Rene, besides being extremely handsome, provided the best service I have received in a while. From the presentations of our drinks to the flavor our our food, shout out to the chef Fernando Torres, for the amazing cuisine, I will have to say best dining out experience I have had, if you are looking for a good time this new location is definitely the place to go, have a good time and cheers!

This place is terrible. I went out to celebrate mothers day made a reservation 1 week earlier. When I got there. I was told that the chefs was working very slow and all meat orders were behind 45 minutes to an hour..that was ok for me. But after placing my drinks order , the waitress came to take our order..whe I said that I want a tomahawk steak she said that they had run out of all meats...that all they have is sea food....Im like really....this is at 6pm in the afternoon and you run out of meat.....

Came here to celebrate my little sister’s 16th birthday and let me just say this restaurant did not live up to my expectations. After viewing this place on Instagram it looked like the perfect place to celebrate. Food and drinks were overly priced. They do not substitute anything on the menu so if you order something and it’s spicy they will not substitute for anything else, you either leave it off the plate and still pay full price or don’t order it. Usually restaurants give a complimentary cake or sing Happy Birthday but not here! I had to buy her the Cheesecake in order for them to acknowledge her birthday and was also charged $1 for some drink they gave her along with them singing Happy Birthday. Poor service and poor management. The drinks are a tease you think you get the whole theme when you order the drink but no. I ordered the make a wish drink and it was poured into a tiny cup and the lamp was immediately taken away couldn’t even take pics. This place is definitely overrated and needs new management to better accommodate people spending lots of money here. Will not be returning, they should take notes from Mama Por Dios!!!!

My husband and I came here for a late dinner and definitely were not disappointed our server Saul was the best! So attentive and overall amazing server, the food was great and the drinks on point. The ambiance was perfect we even got lucky with a round of free shots from a kind fellow dinner! 10 out 10 thank you Saul we’ll be back.

The ambiance is on point and the food is delicious. The drinks are ok but the presentation is a 10 out of 10. Perfect place for a special night out or to host clients. They have an amazing second floor. Not sure if you can buy out but I will ask once I have the perfect event for the space.

I was looking forward to a girls night out, but it was an awful time. The waiter Sophia definitely gave us bad vibes and had a mad face the whole time. Didn’t even bother to greet us or anything. They need to train there employees better!

The service and presentation were amazing. My only complaint was that the music was a little too loud and hurt my ears at times. Other than that, everything was perfect, and all the staff were so nice. They went out of their way to find out information about the foods I need to stay away from for health reasons.

Awful experience. Food took over 2 hours to be brought to the table and waitress “tricked” one of our kids to order a wagyu $45 dollar burger and didn’t care to check with us the adults if that was ok. We were a group of 8 so 20% tip was forced upon us even though they seriously didn’t deserve it.

I saw this place on IG and I had to try it. The vibe is very nice, service is great, the drinks were good, very well presented but just good on taste. The drinks are $20 and average plate is $30 which I understand for the location and the “high end place” I just feel a bit ripped off when my date ordered a Japanese wagyu and it was at market price so we found out on the bill it was $350 for a 16 oz that melted in your mouth mind you but after research I found out this stake goes up to $200 so the fact that they charge you whatever they want for a good quality piece of stake blew my mind, my date wasn’t mad but I was a bit, I felt we were ripped off there. Overall the place is nice, a bit over crowded for a “high end place”. Not sure I want to go back.

I was there yesterday for the 1st time. This place needs to be more organized. They had people standing around to get seated with reservations waiting up to 45 min . I will see people arriving and get seated first than the other people that been waiting in line. This is called friends in preferences they let them in no matter who is waiting. Belive me I know how this work. Hope the manager or the owner is reading this. Please be more organized. Dont let your customers leave with the bad review how long does it take to be seated. The food is good thats all I can say about this place. Other than that they need to be prompt with there reservations.

The environment was very nice! The staff, drinks and food were amazing! We made reservations and we still had to wait like 45 minutes to get seated. It was worth it but if you dont like to wait, I suggest to arrive 30 minutes prior to your reservation.

Enjoyed a great time last night with the hubby. The steak I ordered was perfectly cooked, as I had requested. I ordered the filet Mignon and my husband ordered the Ribeye steak. The service was all done in a timely manner. Our server Hector was very attentive and polite throughout our meal. It reminded me of servers in the south of Mexico. The ambience was home like, very chic and relaxed. Will definitely be returning!

Its not worth what they charge. I asked for my steak medium and got well done. The prices for drinks are ridiculus. For 1 margarita i paid $28 because i asked for casamigos tequila and the margarita itself was $18. $46 dollars one drink. Not kidding. Too my hype for nothing.

The food was mediocre and super expensive ($80/person). My father ordered a ribeye and he got a skirt steak. He ended up throwing up a little at the end. The staff was pretty clueless as well. Unfortunate as we were really looking forward to our meal.

Terrible service went for friends birthday with a reservation and waited like 20 minutes after taking our order for just water and we didn’t know who our waiter was and had to go ask. We got drinks 2 rounds of drinks after we got water and they took our order for entree and waited an hour to get food and did not get it until we complained and said we need the check since it took so long to serve us. The waiter said we can not get the check and have to pay for the food and said it was coming but there was no food behind her we asked to speak to manager because we were upset and hungry and rather go get food somewhere else at this point so when the manager came our food came at the same time. Manager said we’re not the only party waiting and there’s so many people. However, if you’re gonna have the option to reserve it should be the amount of capacity one can handle. We didn’t pay for it and just paid for drinks and water. Terrible experience especially when I was hungry and oh yeah very expensive

Service was amazing , they constantly checking on us and refilling waters , making sure we have everything we need. Very friendly environment. This place is perfect for birthdays or any celebrations, great vibe. Food is ok, a little overpriced but compare to other restaurants in the same area it’s not that bad.

This place is a must! The vibe their is everything. This place is beautiful and perfect for any occasion. Food is delicious! We started off with ribeye chicharon Wuacamole and it was really tasteful. The Santa Monica sushi was great. The stakes omg! On point very delicious. Our experience for my fathers birthday was beyond amazing. We will be coming back soon. I want to thank the general manager Liz for her amazing attention with us, she made it worth our time and extra special. Rene our server was outstanding 👏 he made sure all our questions were Answered and was always very attentive. The bar guy Sergio gives a great show when bringing drinks and very nice. My server Vero was nice. My boyfriend ordered the Tomahawk Steak Medium Rare for 95$ he was satisfied. ALL Sides are ordered separately at thie restaurant he had the lobster Mac n Cheese for 18$ that was over cooked there was No lobster pieces it was cheesY as hell but lacked flavor. I ordered the mashed potatoes for 12$ the consistency and texture was not mashed potatoes it was watery so in a nutshell it lacked consistency and taste as well. The king roll was 30 and was Fire and fresh no complaints there I also ordered the king crab, which was 55$ it was spoiled yall so i senr it back they brought another batch out Spoiled too both batch one and two and the crab was cold...!!!!... La Conde is one of their signature drinks. The drink was good however the strawberry margarita was super sweet taste like strawberry puree and a lot of it no liquor ... I would NOTTTT,... NEVER... EVER EVER Ever....GO BACK THERE AGAIN!!!!!! Its over priced and the food is real blahhhhhhAnd (bland)I complained to the manager Chris and he did nothing but say he will check in with the kitchen... There is only street parking and valet, and valet uses street parking I literally walked to my car when it was time to leave. AFTER PAYING FOR VALET

The lobster was really great ! However portions are a bit small. The drinks were also amazing from the taste to the presentation and even the experience you get with certain drinks . Would definitely recommend for first timers, however I dont think Id go back .

It has changed since my last visit. They got rid of the suchi and the menu shrunk . Service was ok. Mind you the place was really slow but our server was good but yet slow. Not coming back anymore.

Scammers. They told us they would bring a free birthday shot for our friend and asked what kind of cake we wanted. We ordered the tres leches (which sucked) and then charged us $15 for it. When we brought this up, the waiter said the shot is free, not the cake. We said then why did you even offer us the cake or tell us the cake isnt included. We only wanted the shot. And he didnt have an answer. Purposely scammed us. Place is over hyped.

Went in for dinner for my friend’s birthday. We made a reservation so the wait to be seated was only about 10-15 minutes. Once seated, our server took about 20 minutes to get our drink order. It took another 15-20 min to get our drinks. Then it took about 45 minutes for the server to take our order and like about another 40 minutes to FINALLY get out food. The food was cold and the flavor was ok, nothing spectacular. The drinks though were amazing. So to sum it up, if you’re there just for drinks than it’s an ok place. You must be very patient though.

This was the worst experience I have ever had a restaurant. I was very excited to try this restaurant and it was a total flop. Decor was beautiful but that was about it. First (and there is a list of things) we arrive (party of 8) at our reservation time we get seated outside as requested and they sit us right next to a table smoking cigars, should definitely have a separate area if you allow smoking at your restaurant. Then when asked to turn on the heat lamps due to it being cold it took them about an 1hr but the table on the other side of us had 2. We finally order drinks and although presentation is nice the La Conde taste like juice w/dry ice, the Make a wish drink is tiny and when first came out only filled 1/2 of the tiny cup for $20, the fourth drink we order came about 30 min after everyone else. Then the food smh we all ordered at the same time but 1 person got there food and 20 min before everyone else. The fries were cold, they got two orders wrong, we ordered Ceviche and the only hot sauce they carry is Tabasco and Sriracha huh smh. We went to celebrate my sisters 20th birthday so we ask them if they do anything special for birthdays, they said usually they give a shot but because she wasn’t 21 yet gave us a list of options for dessert, when getting the bill some of the prices are different then the menu they gave you so scan and bring up on your phone. $15 for skirt steak taco when on the menu it says $6 (for one taco), then the chicken sandwich is listed as $18 but charged us $25 and the special birthday dessert they charge you $15 for 🤔. We then spoke to manger about the price mix up and he blamed it on marketing , then told them about all the other issues we had and he said it was because there are 3 different kitchens and a VIP area and that’s it’s busy(which it was not) 10pm on a Sunday night overall the service was horrible, food was mediocre and over priced will definitely not be back or recommend to others. Get it together

The food was good. We had chilaquiles, steak and eggs and the red chilaquiles with steak. The drinks are ok we had the cucumber Marti and the Conde a bit over priced. The service was slow our waitress would disappear for long periods of times. I actually bumped into her in the bathroom guess she needed a break lol. I would come back for the night Entertainment.

So glad we celebrated my fathers birthday here. I made reservations 2days after they opened, tried doing it online but it didnt let me, saying I had to contact them directly to reserve for a party of 10. So i did. Reserved. I called the day of(the actual date of the event) to verify.. the young lady told me there was no reservation for date i made the reservation for. I was so upset because I had my siblings coming down from simi valley. I asked the young lady LU if I can please speak to a supervisor to see what we could do about this misunderstanding. She came back letting me know that it was ok, and that my party was still welcome and they would have a table for us reserved. She was very professional and nice. Overall, the service at this place AL CIENNNNNNN!! You are paying for quality service, and quality FOOD!!! Felt very comfortable and everyone was so friendly and kind. Food was delishhhhhhh👌👌👌

Food is okay! Too overpriced. I liked that they had Mariachi (it was a weekend). Drinks were okay, not worth the price for sure but they were okay. Ambiance was too Instagram-ish for me.P.s; waiters are too pushy for you to buy their expensive drink.- Ex; the avion shot. And one bar tender in particular is way to touchy with people. He gives lap dances to both guys and girls but way to much for my liking. To me, they see you a bit tipsy and they act super friendly to start adding to your tap. Just a heads-up!

We made reservations 9pm the place was super packed literally line of people out the door to street WITH RESERVATIONS how idk how that makes sense but okay, waited. So we walked in sat the restaurant is gorgeous, decor. Seating I wasnt very pleased tables too close. I did like the music vibe made me feel like I was in a club lol drinks were delicious thank god because the food was honestly bad. No flavor dont get the aguachile 3 shrimps no flavor. The guacamole was good. Anywho for vibe its cool I would just go for guacamole and drinks and music besides that food not great. For 2 totaling $180 per person.

Way overpriced. The first thing they tell you when you are seated is that you have a time limit for the table - what? Who does that? Nice people working there - the food is good, not great. The drinks are ok, not great. And it all should be great for the price. Next.

Bad host, bad food, cute spot, good service, horrific management. There a manager who’s name start with a K who I shared with her my thought my dinner experience and how the table next to us was louder than any I ever sat next to on top of the food not being great and all she said to me was I should spoke up sooner. Don’t come her unless you just want a quick Instagram pic.

I had a few drinks and did not finish all of each one, they were terrible like made with cheap liquor, and none on menu is made with tequila I rather go to el pescador they have versatile menu of drinks. By the end of the day I was throwing up of how disgusting food and drinks were. Will not be coming back, I have been to mama por dios not good at all either, I believe they concentrate on presentation rather than food and drinks quality, I want to pay for quality not presentation.

I was excited to celebrate my Brithday dinner. I was disappointed with the food for the price they should make better dishes I got aguachiles only had 9 shrimps. We also got a steak $50 with no sides included. I got the crown drink in less then 5 min someone came to remove it I couldn’t even enjoy my drink or take pictures with the crown as thAt was the hype for me to choose this place I was really disappointed..also we got jack and coke n it was fullwith ice nothing much to drink with full ice...they need to improve there plates for what they charge .. service was fast..

Worst Carajillo I ever had. I was so excited to try this place. The concept is nice and the place is beautiful. Unfortunately the food and the drinks were not good at all. The server keep coming to the table every 2 minutes to ask if we wanted more drinks. Felt rushed and the staff didnt know anything about anything. We paid $400 for two people. I expected a better experience. super unorganized low quality.

Surprise anniversary dinner and let me tell you the staff is very personable and knowledgeable of the menu. Excellent service, delicious food and cool drinks. Only issue, papertowel holder in the womens restroom is missing a screw so it hangs. Also the booth on the top floor is Croocked and the table is wobbly.

Rene has been one of the best servers I have ever had, the chef Fernando prepared some of the best steak I have ever experienced. I DEFINITELY recommend you guys drop by to give them a try. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!

It was date night with my longtime girlfriend. We eat out From downtown to the ocean. This was the worst meal I’ve eaten in LA in 25 years.The rib eye guacomole which our sweet but clueless waitress told us was very popular was filled with fatty pieces of rib eye.The crab sushi roll was tempura crab , cold which perhaps it was supposed to be but had a rubber texture .. not edible - that was sent back and taken off the bill.The spinach goat cheese strawberries and walnut salad was not good. The Caesar salad was tasteless. This restaurant struck out with us.The waitress as I said was sweet but we are used to professional wait staff on the westside..the best restauranteurs walk around especially when new and check on their patrons. We will not be back. This will be a destination stop for people familiar with Mr Guerrero’s food. Locals will not hit this spot.

Poor customer service once food was ordered it came quickly and thats were it ended we had no utincels had food on the table getting cold and was waiting for utincels had to go ask for them along with napkins then after that server came buy for drink replenishment I asked for a refill of water and it took till I was done eating to bring me my warm water! now that the food and service is out of the way! Lets focus on price!! Or should I say OVER PRICED! Ive had the same if not better steak at Outback steak house for half the price ordered my steak med rare got med well and you dont get side dishes they are separately charged items so $40.00 for steak and $15.00 for asparagus now for the nay sayers Ive had 80.00 dollar steaks and Ive had 20.00 steaks and the say its all about the atmosphere and yes great atmosphere . Now I think the place would be a lot better with a dedicated server for every table that was at your service during the whole experience to justify the expense that they charge for your food and drinks now I maybe wrong but when your bill is almost a $1000.00 you should get way better service just my thoughts on the matter.

Drinks are good but that doesnt compensate for the food. Service staff is great they do everything to compensate for the management by trying g to keep the patrons content. Waiting over an hour just to get our appetizer of guacamole then an additional 45 min to get our food which was another appetizer of la Conde tostada and an order of Salmon for the wife. Salmon was bland and they even got the order wrong after having it repeated 2 times by different waiter(s). They forgot the mashed potatoes and instead brought lobster mac n cheese. And still included it into the bill. They should just close after brunch to avoid these situations and then reopen for dinner at a later time.

I visited this restaurant on their Grand Opening April 23rd and was served by Sophia & Jeffrey. The service was amazing. They recommended “The Tama”which was exactly like there described it, a Pulparindo Mexican Candy&the “Make a Wish” was so unique. You get the opportunity to interact with the staff and personalize your experience. They recommended the Beef Carpaccio which was amazing, and their King Crab Legs which were cooked to perfection. We also had the Fillet Mignon which is pared it with the Lobster Mac and Cheese with Bacon Rapped Asparagus. This restaurant is definitely a very high end and unique. ✔️

Well, they opened up late that’s for sure. They have a big placard with WAAAYYY too many rules as you walk in which tbh is a mood killer. Their menu does not have a big range of items, just an okay menu, nothing special and they definitely do NOT accommodate to your dietary needs, so that means if you’re only wanting certain items because you’re vegan/vegetarian/Pescatarian/gluten free etc. then this place won’t work out. Unfortunately I had really high hopes for this place and was sorely disappointed. I will give them credit where it’s due when it comes to the aesthetic, beautiful for pictures and Instagram if that’s what you’re looking for. It left way more to be desired.

Food was fair, extraordinarily expensive, drinks were okay. Felt like it was trying to hard. Dont think we will be returning. Too many good fairly priced places in LA.

The ribeye guac is absolutely phenomenal and the tomahawk steak was incredible. The main drink menu is all liqueur mixers which are overly sweet even if the presentation is awesome

I love the vibe of the restaurant, top-tier but the service was 0/10 not only did we have to flag the waiter down for a glass of tap, everyone around us had been served after being placed long after us, the cocktails tasted like tonic water with a splash of food coloring and the waiter completely skipped over my order, I ended up just canceling and had a sprite and grabbed a few of my friends undercooked shrimp and some truffle 🍟, but I definitely won’t and don’t plan on patronizing there again, I hope the way my guest and I where treated had nothing to do with our melanated skin, that would be terrible 😢… this experience was horrific and unbelievable and most definitely unacceptable…

Horrible place and our bill for 3 adults was 1,000 dollars never coming back. They where also rushing us too give our table too someone else. Bad customer services don’t recommend this place too anyone not worth it. I also end it up throwing up got sick my dad Nd mom got sick too. the meat had a lot of oil.

Great experience due to the wonderful server Rafael took care of us . He made sure everything was taken care of and the food came out in a timely manner . Drinks were never empty will definitely come back.

The atmosphere is great, incredible food and service is exceptional. Taste and presentation of food and drinks is incredible.

Just a loud place with overpriced food and as far as i can tell , there is no particular theme to the restaurant or menu . Its goes from tacos to sushi to steaks. And the drinks ... Heavily gimmicked drinks. One came in a tiny chest and it had dry ice another got served out of an oil lamp . Its like a chuck e cheese ... But louder and no prizes

Amazing 5 star restaurant! Food was delicious, the vibe is contagious, staff is friendly welcoming and very personable. Restaurant is absolutely gorgeous it was an all around amazing experience. Highly recommend

La Conde is fun. It is a place to go out and party while eating something great and drinking over the top cocktails. Expect good energy and a lot of energy.

Beautiful experience the drinks were amazing the service was great I felt welcomed it was very much a well rounded place you can bring family or friends it brings a great uniqueness to regular dining everything is very festive and lovely culture the bathroom was my favorite because it wasn’t only clean it was gorgeous like I wanted to take selfies for hours in there lol I ordered the steak and some tacos so delicious and the airplane shots are the most coolest table greeter go check it out

Only complaint we had was that the service was slow probably because it was super busy. Unique place. Food was great. Place is suitable for young crowds not so much for middle age peeps

Horrible service, got to the restaurant to check in for rsvp, and was ask my name 4 times felt discriminated..... once we got sat and waited over 20min the server came and said they were completely out of steak. Would give 0 stars but couldnt.

Food was fair, presentation was ok. Vibe was nice, enjoyed the dj. Drinks were the saving grace.

DRINKS........ are overpriced , we have gone several times already and we defintley noticed that the drinks will not get you drunk ,I wouldnt mind paying for them if they would at least get you buzzed, usaully at other places we get buzz with 3-4 good drinks this place even after mixing different drinks about 7 -9 Total DRINKS feel nothing, only drinks that are ok are the ones from the tequila cart ,so spend the money there even though prices are higher, AND ask for the prices first cause YOU will end up paying a ridiculous amount for only that tab at the tequila cart .

Not so tasty food selections. The service was terrible took for ever to get the waitress to come and take our order . They only have two bathrooms for the women.

Your water here is Arrowhead, the bartender, horrible, the burgers way too salty, and the ice cream is basically jicama woth root beer...street tacos is way more better.
