Bella was excellent. I knew from the first minute that i was going to experience an incredible massage. By the end it was the best massage I ever have. Now that its the next day, its more obvious than ever that Bellas experience and expertise in breaking down stiffness and knots in my muscles is superb. Im rightfully sore, and I have already booked my next appointment with her!

Anna was absolutely wonderful… She gets five stars for sure! As for the facility as a whole, 4… The country music station, another therapist with very squeaky shoes walking around and the general vibe could definitely use some work. Just a little Zen would do the job. Anna was kind enough to turn the music off in my massage room made the experience much nicer! She’s a wonderful therapist, and I highly recommend her. My husband was there as well with Steve and really enjoyed his service as well.

Steven gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Highly recommend. He was very kind and professional and encouraged me to provide feedback throughout the experience to ensure that my needs were met. His technique is second to none.

From the second I walked in this place.. I knew the manager was bad news based on the OVERWHELMING attempt made to sell me. I gave it a chance anyway.And- for awhile this location was somewhere I dedicated myself to and LOVED. But all too quickly, the recent environment created is one that is uncomfortably persistent, in-genuine, condescending, and vibrating with desperation. This used to be a place that I was proud to Invest my money and time into…it has turned into a corporate machine; ran by low vibrational human beings whose true motives are covered by a thin veil of false empathy and compassion.Guests and members are treated and catered to based on how much money we choose to spend as well as whether or not the manager aligns with our persona. Classic! Instead of a place for holistic practice, this locations overseer has turned it into a prejudice cash cow in order to save themself the backlash from their (even more corrupt, I’m sure) superiors.The massage therapists and specialists however, are all AMAZING.It’s just sad to witness what unfolds when really unhappy people run a business.I miss when it was about the art and practice of therapeutic massage, and not about sales and numbers.Sadly, Id recommend a different location.

Robert was nice and had big strong hands, but didn’t hurt… worked my tight zones without paining me. Will definitely see him again!

I dont get massages enough, but I will going forward. Fabs did a phenomenal job with my issues, and I joined the membership because of it. Thrilled with my experience.

Scott at Massage Envy is truly something special! He has managed to turn a vision impairment into a gift with hyperattunement to his touch sense to find all the right spots during massage. He was highly intuitive in his body work and I could not recommend him with more enthusiasm!

Richard understands Deep Tissue… as a former competitive bodybuilder it’s really important to get in there and release those knots. He understood when to really apply pressure and when to let off.I feel he is as important in my life as a medical doctor. A+++++++

A get facials with Adrienn every month. She knows so much about skin care and does a fabulous job. Shes also a very pleasant person. I highly recommend you give her a try!

Penny was excellent. She really helped to ease my sciatica pain. She was knowledgeable and gave me the deep massage that I needed. She was so good at explaining things and has a great personality!

The front desk staff is exemplary. Kind, welcoming and professional.Scott gives me stretch therapy sessions in Active Isolated Stretching. He is professional and very knowledgeable !Grateful for this modality and for his expertise!

Steve was the best. I understand he is new and I got lucky. I booked one every other week. I just got done moving that day and I Felt 80 walking in and 40 walking out

I was given a 30 minute facial instead of 1 hour which is what I booked. I lost track of time in the treatment and was already dressed and at the front counter when I realized it. If only two layers of acid products were used on my face other products could have been applied or massaging my arms and hand like other locations could have been done. She was focused on upselling services instead of focusing of providing a pleasant 1 hour facial.

Richard C was amazing!! I went in for a deep tissue massage due to a pinched nerve and left feeling so much better.First good night of sleep I’ve had in at least 2 months.

My massage was wonderfully relaxing. Alex used exactly the right amount of pressure after asking my preference and spent the bulk of the time on my problem areas that wed discussed. Perfect!

I’ve been a member now for almost two years, and it bears mentioning that I’ve never had a bad experience. The front desk is run so well. All of the LMTs have been above average—with a few who stand out. Iris, Christina, Balint. Talented, professional. This ME location is a gem.

I just recently had a facial and massage with Dawn at Massage Envy and both were wonderful! Dawn is so sweet and kind and really knows her stuff! I would highly recommend her and Massage Envy to anyone looking for a great massage or facial!

I have had many good massages at midtown, but Iris is by far the best. She can really identify where you need the most work and leaves you feeling much better!

Dawn was a perfect combination of firm but not too strong and had a wonderful touch as well as lovely personality -she made the experience absolutely rejuvenating.

Massage Envy Midtown is fortunate to have Jessica! She is my favorite massage therapist in town. She is always consistent, does an amazing deep tissue massage and is kind and professional. I recommend her to all of my friends and several have started going to her and have really enjoyed her massages as well.

I cant tell if its the same person or if the the whole front desk team is trained like this but they are relentlessly aggressive with signing up for a membership. The woman with long, black, straight hair, she was the only one not wearing a nametag. I had to say no 4 times after my appointment and asked her to stop asking. I then booked a facial online that had to be rescheduled, so I called to cancel and the woman, who identified herself as an assistant manager, was incredibly aggressive- and presumptuous and wrong!! She kept saying if I came in every 2 weeks that I could fulfill the membership in 4 months... and I AGAIN said no 3 times, to which she raised her voice at me and hung up... its terrible!!With that being said, the treatments Ive had were amazing. Randy identified the root of a longstanding back injury and Ive felt a lot of relief. He is incredibly knowledgeable and gave the appropriate advice for seeking out other treatments- Im so thankful I saw him!!I had a facial with Courtnee and same thing... she identified some issues I was having and recommended great product. Im looking forward to seeing her again.The talent and expertise at this location is fantastic, its just the front desk thats the issue.I would not recommend based on how Ive been treated by the front team. I dont know if its just one person or the whole salestaff is trained this way. Its stressful knowing youre going to get accosted for a membership that youve already said no to 8 times and have only visited twice.

Massage and staff excellent as always, but there was only 1 person at the front desk so it took almost 10 mins to check out l. Should have min of 2 at all times.

Felt very welcoming. The staff were friendly. Definitely enjoyed my facial with Goli. She took care of me and made my skin feel refreshed. She let me know step by step what she was using on my skin. Made me feel relax and at ease. 😌

We have been customers of the Sarasota Massage Envy facility on Bahia Vista & Tamiami Trail for several years. We love the massage therapists there and schedule appointments every other week. Among the LMTs we prefer are Iris, Aline, Penny, Christina, Anna, and others. We are so comfortable with ME and their beautiful spas wherever we go.

Randy is very professional and knowledgeable. He listens to your needs and understands exactly what is needed to relax your aching muscles. , He the best!

I love Vivien. She is my favorite.Every time I feel very relaxed 😌.

The staff is great at this location, and it is easier to get an appointment here than many of the other locations in both this area and other states as they appear to have added a lot of staff since last year. If your are like me and generally just want them to find the “bad spots” and work them instead of just the standard part by part same massage; Sulma is amazing!

I am 87 with balance issues.Scott is an outstanding stretch therapist. He is very pleasant and also very knowledgeable about our muscles and tendons, bones and joints and how to keep them functional. He always shares helpful information and advice on how to best maintain and safely improve my mobility.

Adrienne has healing hands,My skin always feels great after a facial.

The membership cost is high and the front desk can be pushy for a sale. They also restrict how you can use your saved up massages. I wouldnt recommend it to a friend.

I’ve had a variety of really good massage therapists over the years at Massage Envy. There seems to be a bit of turnover which is most likely consistent with the industry. For the last six months Alex has been my go to therapist for a great massage. He and the staff are always professional and helpful. Looking forward to my next visit!

I’ve been a member for over 10 years. Recently a new ME opened nearer to my home but still I drive 45-60 minutes to Midtown because this is where Alex is. Perfect blend of therapeutic and relaxing. Consistently great massage from month to month. Awesome!

Love the facility. Greg wasn’t available so wanted someone with his skill set or close. Was given Richard. He did a good therapeutic massage, but it was not deep at all, and he had a hurt wrist. Really didn’t get any benefit out of the massage folks at the desk. Need to be able to understand what type of massage somebody is looking for and what their therapist can do.

Had a great deep tissue massage with Richard. He listened to me about my trouble spots and managed the hour so that he got to each one. I have booked 3 more massages with him.Had an another massage, this time with Alex. He too was great. Very professional and skilled. Will definitely book with him in the future. So far, both massages at this location have been excellent.Had another massage with Kevin. He is wonderful with deep tissue. He was sensitive to my foot which is delicate after a surgery, but listened to me and attended to my most need area, my shoulders and back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 90 minute massage with Aylen! Her experienced soothing touch was combined a bit of deep trigger therapy when needed. I loved her stroke tempo; slow and relaxing. Many massage therapists don’t realize how important this is, massaging too quickly and not allowing full relaxation to take place. I was highly referred to Aylen by a friend and wasn’t disappointed. Looking forward to booking with her again soon and will refer others also.

Penny is amazing. She has been very helpful with my sore areas both with traditional massage and stretching. I’m glad my wife recommended her.

The staff goes out of their way at this location to make you comfortable and take care of you. My massage therapist Ballant always gives five star treatment equivalent, if not better, than a much more expensive spa.He is always very polite and friendly.One of the best In Sarasota.Very pleased.

Everyone at this location is very friendly. My absolute favorite therapist is Kevin. I like my massages deep tissue and her does a great job finding all of my problem areas in my back. I always leave feeling better and much needed relief.

I use Kelly for stretch and for massage. I have had some frustrating muscle pain in my hip lately. Kelly has been a Godsend in locating the source of the pain and giving me relief!! She is also kind and very personable.

Richard was great! I like deep pressure and usually when I communicate that to a massage therapist I still don’t get deep tissue pressure. But Richard delivered and checked about the pressure along the way and incorporated stretching in as well. I will definitely be back to see him again

I really enjoy coming to this massage envy. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. Scott is amazing with massages. He is very knowledgeable and has always helped when I had certain issues/ pain/discomfort.Goli is amazing with facials. Her gentleness puts me to sleep everytime. Ive been to several M.E. and have always felt my time was cut shorter than the 80 mins but not.with her.she utilizes all of the time ( M.E. takes 5 mins aways at the beginning and at the end for undressing/dressing)Because of her, I started getting facials every month!

Iris was terrific overall. Specifically, she worked on some pain in my foot that had persisted for several days. It was a little better after she worked on it and now today, less than 24 hours later, it is 100% better. Thanks!

I only give this 5 for Jonathan. He is the best massage therapist I’ve had so far at massage envy. He listens to you, personable, kind and does an amazing job. I’m picky and I have a lot of back and neck issues he has never once made me leave unhappy. He is irreplaceable.

Staff members are beyond superb! Best customer service of any massage envy location Ive ever been to! Services are also above and beyond any other location Ive experienced! Cleanliness and professionalism are clearly priorities at this location!

I was lucky enough to get a ladt minute appointment for my staff neck and shoulders and Francesca did a great job of working out all my knots. I left feeling a 100% better.

Selma is awesome and taylors treatment to your needs of what you want focus on, and one needs to communicate this with any therapist. She is passionate about her job and works the sore stuff out. It is important for everyone to remember that the client must communicate with the therapist about pressure, goals and areas of focus. Therapists are not mind readers and people with their issues shouldn’t expect that they are cured like instant google mentality and that wellness takes consistency, balance, and personal responsibility and lifestyle changes, postures, diet, exercise etc, sleep to have better response to care. People forget that our bodies are not google and blame the therapist, as if lying down and being passive and not taking responsibility is all it takes.I have benefitted from each massage therapist and love Selma and several of the male therapists, sorry don’t remember all their names. Selma is outstanding and certainly one of the best therapists at Bahia vista location.

I met with Deborah for a one hour massage yesterday and it was the best massage I’ve received at Massage Envy to date. Deborah was so intuitive and knew exactly what I needed. She knows the body well and is very much in tune with energies. I will be booking my upcoming massages with Deborah, for sure!!

Ja at the front desk makes this place hum with efficiency and positive energy. I alternate between Iris and Aylen both of whom are amazing at being as firm as needed yet are attuned to how to gently work out the issues. Best location in town for ME.

I came in and was asked what pressure I wanted. I told firm to deep. My therapist said deep wasnt what she did, I agreed that firm would be fine then. My therapist was talking to me almost the entire time. I wanted to relax, but kind of difficult to relax if someone is talking the entire time. Not only was my massage less than the 60 minutes i paid for, (I understand discussing my body is part of that time) but I also feel like I barely had any pressure on my body. I also felt uncomfortable when she asked me to flip over. Usually therpaists stand back a ways and hold up the sheet, she was looking over the sheet at my naked body, I felt like I needed to cover up more. Just a weird experience and I dont feel comfortable going back to this location.

I had a great massage from Merik. He is always right on-point with what I need. He rubs deep enough to be therapeutic, but not so deep that I’m in much pain. Excellent.

Kevin is the best, most qualified massage therapist compared to all others in my experience. I have benefited greatly from both deep tissue massage therapy and also stretching sessions. As I do manual labor in my work, I see him as one of my medical team helping me avoid injury and stay physically fit and active. He continues to target needed areas of healing and therapy for me. Kevin is the reason we have a membership with ME.

Iris is a fantastic massage therapist. She has a great touch and can deliver a stress releasing massage, but she can also focus on a fatigued area with deeper pressure that is comfortable, not painful. The RTR therapy is the best! She is my favorite massage therapist at Sarasota MidTown.

I got a massage from Gregory yesterday. He was so good. His technique was excellent. I can’t recommend him enough.

Gregory did a great job. He hit my spots and provided suggestions of stretches I should do at home. He also let me know that massage envy has a stretching program.

While , we enjoy all of the massage therapist at massage, envy, Sarasota midtown, Iris has been a terrific therapist and we have both scheduled weekly massages with her .She has improved our lives, immensely!

My first experience at Massage Envy Midtown was not the best. The therapist that was recommended did more stretching than actual massage despite my feedback. Second visit was a charm. Other than the front desk staff changing my appointment time without informing me, the therapist Iris was pure bliss. I am a member and travel all over the country to ME locations. This makes it challenging to find someone good. Ive had a few here and there but Iris is a true therapist who listened to what I was asking for and delivered. Typically I go once a month but it was so amazing that I booked again quickly.I was a bit surprised at the laid back COVID precautions. Other locations (in other states) are asking you to wait in your car, call when arriving and you go straight in with your therapist without sitting in the waiting room.

I have had many massages and Iris was the best ever. Her technique is wonderful and she gives the best arm and hand massage I have ever experienced.

My therapist was great! He asked all the right questions to help me in the areas that I really needed. I’m definitely going back🙂

Today I had an appointment at 4:00 for a deep tissue, 90 minute massage. 15 minutes before my appointment, as I was driving there and almost on site, Massage Envy called to let me know that my therapist was not available for my appointment. They could offer me a 90 minute massage with another therapist however it would not be deep tissue.So I had two options at that point. I can have a 90 minute massage with another therapist who does not do deep tissue. And be charged for the full 90 minutes, or I can turn around and drive home.I left my house at 3:35 today for my massage, returning at 4:25 with no massage. The manager (who never came on the phone for the entire 16 minutes that the call lasted for) told the receptionist that I would be charged the full 90 minutes despite it being with a therapist that does not do deep tissue. And would charge me the full 90 minute regardless of them canceling 15 minutes before my appointment.My last massage I had scheduled was canceled that day because my massage therapist called in sick. It takes almost 2 weeks to get on the schedule with a deep tissue therapist. And now to have it canceled with my scheduled therapist two times in a row, and this time 15 MINUTES before my appointment is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would highly not recommend Massage Envy.1Share

Such a nice person- not the best massage I’ve ever had. Not very relaxing.

Iris was excellent, can’t wait for my next session. Note- the heat/cold part was good, but I was very cold during it which made me uncomfortable.

Amy gave me another great massage. She addressed all of my problem areas and I felt so much better. I highly recommend her!

Sheri is amazing! I always have a migraine when I go in and when I leave it’s gone! She’s a miracle workers and gives the best massage I’ve ever had!
