Massage Haven

Since were at the movies at this shopping plaza, weve been checking to see when Massage Haven would be opening. Finally popped in & the receptionist informed me that I could book online. I was able to choose my appt via their online system AND it gives you the opp to request a male or female therapist, which doesnt matter to me b/c Ive had excellent therapists of both sexes.MH is a membership-based Massage Therapy Salon. I took advantage of the first timer rate of $59 which is a smokin hot deal! (Plus a $20 tip) The space itself is super chill/quiet. I was so lucky to be matched up w/ Bella, a graduate of Gateway Community Colleges MT program! That program produces some of the best therapists that Ive had the pleasure of experiencing.Bella gave a medium-deep tissue massage, which was flowy vs a stop/start. Flowy is more relaxing & demonstrates the therapists knowledge of anatomy. She did some pin & stretches as well as getting into my psoas muscle. My back cracked several times (in a good way!) & overall, my 50 minute massage worked out a lot of tension and stress. Thanks Bella!I highly recommend this MT Spa. I had a Massage done by Bella the other day and it was AMAZING! This was the very first massage I have ever had and Bella was so nice and was able to explain everything to me. 10/10 recommend going to see her. This was the most relaxing experience I have ever had.

This company is a joke and the owner does not know what he is doing. He wants to blame brand new therapists that are hired for his failure to make sure they are made aware of their appt bookings so they can show up for them. I was really, really looking forward to starting at a new place, but I was treated like crud, blamed for things completely outside of my control, lied to, and I likely wont get paid now for the appts I did, as I spoke with another therapist who had worked here and she was not paid for an entire week of her working at the Peoria location. Beyond upset. Search elsewhere for your massages. He wont be able to keep a single person on staff with this unprofessionalism. It is so beyond anything I have ever experienced. I have never been treated this badly by a potential employer. Unacceptable. He also took an unacceptably long time to have me fill out proper paperwork to become officially on his staff, and never bothered to ask for a copy of my state massage license. All of this should greatly concern clients of this business.
