Elements Massage

I’ve been a long standing member for many years but need to rethink my membership. The promenade location consists primarily of your new version of ELITE therapists that I cannot afford to see. The therapists I historically have liked are either now Elite or don’t work hours I am able to book an appointment. When I just checked availability there were a lot of elite appointments available which tells me I’m not the only one who feels this way.

I had a great massage from Chance. His work is very thorough and knows how to work with the body. I exercise a lot and love to run. So my legs and lower back really need some solid massage work. I felt great afterwards. The only reason I gave 4/5 * is because I had an allergic reaction to the oil that was used. But other than that, the massage itself was fantastic.

I had been a member for over a year and decided to cancel because I was cutting back on some expenses. I went in for my last 2 hour massage and unfortunately, the masseuse in the room next to me talked the entire time. His voice was very loud and carried, so clearly I could hear the entire conversation. I did let my masseuse know she told the front desk they slipped a note under the door, but nothing changed. I eventually had to go get my earbuds from my car so that I could enjoy my last hour of my massage. Needless to say, the manager Pat was supposed to call me back, and never did. I ended up calling three weeks later and wanted an hour massage comped because of this. She offered to give me an aroma therapy for my one hour massage being disturbed. No apology from her, she needs to work on customer service. I ended up calling the Elements Massage and speaking to another manager Connie at the Promenade location. She was very accommodating, booked my massage that was comped and was apologetic. I will no longer be going to the location on Scottsdale and Pinnacle Peak.

10/10 recommend this studio! My experience, all around was amazing! From the second I walked in the door I was taken care of. My massage therapist, Andrea, was great and gave a fabulous session. She helped my back pain quite a bit and made every part of the experience relaxing. Can’t wait to go back!

Got in last minute and saw Ramsey, he was phenomenal. He did some stretching of my arms and legs that no massage therapist has ever done before and it felt great. Cant speak for anyone else here but Id see Ramsey again for sure.

I did not have to wait for my scheduled massage. And the massage therapist took the time to ask what areas I was having issues with and focused on those areas during my massage.

Great experience. Mariah (at the N. Scottsdale location) is amazing. Very intuitive and I really appreciate how she checks in during the massage. Check out was easy and I was grateful for a zero-pressure explanation about the option to become a member. Highly recommend the whole experience!

Friendly staff and wonderful massage. I highly recommend Chance he is thorough, experienced and professional. I am looking forward to my next appointment.

I was never told when scheduling my appointments that.Chancellor was to receive a $15 bonus, nor was i told this when checking out.

Be careful with this Elements location. I cancelled my membership, after much pressure to suspend instead of fully cancel. Then I still got a recurring charge that resumed months later, and when I called to have it reversed, I was told theres no paperwork in my account showing I cancelled the membership. I was told they thought I had suspended my account, but they didnt have paperwork documenting that, either. This feels shady and makes me wonder how many people they do this to to extract extra months of payments.

I am an Elements Massage member living in another state, I have a massage at least once a month. I was hoping for the same excellent experience I receive at home, but that was not the case at this location. When I booked my appointment with Dakota, I asked if would be receiving the same member price I pay I currently pay. She indicated that I would and I booked two massages, one for myself and one for my friend that I was visiting. (This review is based on my experience and not my friends).I had to pay more because they told me Scottsdale has higher prices. They did not honor my VIP membership price at all. The massage was borderline risque I did not feel comfortable or relaxed at all. I will never go back!

My husband and I went yesterday and had a couples massage for our anniversary. The ambiance was nice when we got in, we picked our aromatherapy and as we were headed back we were told there was an issue they couldn’t use peppermint because the therapist has a reaction to peppermint so can I pick another. Shouldn’t the front desk ladies have known this before hand? Odd but whatever. I picked lavender and it was fine. We get back there get started and the lady I was given did not feel like a professional at all. The most lame massage I have ever been given and my husband paid good money for these massages. I could barely smell the aromatherapy. When they flip you over on your back they usually cover your eyes- nothing was done so every noise I was looking up to see what was going on. Luckily my husband said his lady was pretty good but I told him not to tip my lady well as she felt like a massage student. She literally did not rub both of my feet and massaged my arms/legs/back in small sections it was the weirdest thing. Then she did a neck massage that felt like she was trying to knock me out by putting an extreme amount of pressure on my jugular. I’m telling you it was bizarre. I have never had such a bad experience. I hope no one gets her again as she needs a lot more training. I’m writing the Owners to make them aware of this situation too. I tried to just let it go, bad massage oh well, but my sweet husband tried to make it a nice relaxing time for me and it ended up awful. *PLEASE READ UPDATE BELOW*** Updated** The manager staff contacted me after they saw this review and were very apologetic for the bad experience I had. They offered to give my husband and I two free massages to make up for the bad experience. The second time was a charm. The therapists were attentive and thorough. We are thankful for the great customer service we received.

The staff is welcoming and friendly. The facility is clean, quiet, and peaceful. Yesenia, our therapist (both my husband and I use her), listens to your areas of concern and tailors each massage. She is respectful, calm, quiet, and gives a great massage!

The atmosphere was great and my body did seem more relaxed by the end, but most awkward massages ever. I’ve been getting massages most of my adult life and this was a very different technique. Some unique body positions when applying pressure and was never really what I’d call a massage. Very minimal massage strokes ever used. And I have never had my glutes worked on where there wasn’t a sheet between my bottom and the masseuse. I believe you should disclose to a client up front before exposing the butt and touching it directly. I’m not a prude but that felt a bit uncomfortable to me. Maybe just not the place for me. I’d not go back.

Jose is truly the most wonderful massage therapist !! He exceeded every expectation and applied the perfect amount of pressure during the course of my one hour massage !!! I highly recommend Elements Massage and Jose is top-notch !!!! I will definitely be returning in the future !!!!

This location is great. They were able to accommodate a last minute request for a massage. And having openings in the evening is really cool. Most operations close at 5. I was able to get scheduled at 7p. It was a life saver as I was playing a golf tournament the next day and needed some muscle relief. Played great the next day. I would recommend this business for massage needs.

I have had many massages over the years. But the consistent and excellent massage with Jose is what has me going back to this location. Jose is very professional and I highly recommend him.

I was visiting from out of town and was having severe upper back pain due to my profession. I made an appointment with Kim and she did a 90 minute upper body massage and it was amazing!! I am feeling so much better and was able to enjoy the rest of my trip pain free. Thank you so much Kim!!

Wonderful massage studio. I had an excellent experience with Zach as my masseuse. I do have back problems and he was able to adjust and customize the massage therapy to my problem areas. He is so knowledgeable about the anatomy and function and is a good teacher about how I can work on improving my own strength in between therapies. He was more helpful to me than physical therapy has been. Carmen is also an excellent masseuse at this studio.

Fabiola was fantastic - she listened to my requirements and delivered! The reception was friendly and welcoming. The facility was sparkly clean, but it boiled down to the quality of the massage. It met and exceeded my expectations. Thank you.

I always have a good customer experience at Elements in N Scottsdale. Everyone is professional and the service is excellent. My therapist Lana is extraordinary and hands down the best massage Ive ever experienced anywhere!

My session with Jasmine was OUTSTANDING! I have been suffering for a few months from a pinched nerve- effecting my neck, shoulder, and arm. After just one session with Jasmine, I was noticeably in less pain and loosened up tremendously. If you are dealing with any knots/pinched nerves, Jasmine is your gal!

A few things. I was a member. Upon scheduling and then going to my appointment, the therapist didnt have a mask on. When I inquired if she was vaccinated, she said no and also said if I wanted her to put on a mask she would. How are therapists who have contact with clients and are unvaccinated not required to wear masks.I called Elements afterwards and inquired about scheduling future appointments with vaccinated therapists. They told me they have only two (including one man--I want a female) who are vaccinated and employees are not required to wear masks. I told them this didnt work for me and I thought this was really against CDC recommendations. I thus asked to cancel my membership. I had paid for about $250 in unused massages.I called today to try to schedule using these credits. I was told they expired 12/14/21. I asked if there was anything they would do as I had PAID for them. I was told no.This engenders goodwill and when Covid ends wanting to use this place in the future. What terrible business people.

Wonderful. The atmosphere is soothing and the front desk always cheerful and helpful. My masseuse, Jose, is consistently excellent and I always feel more relaxed and less achy/tense when I leave.

I love to visit Scottsdale North location, its very clean, great customer service, Fabiola is amazing therapist, very caring and has great technique. I highly recommend cupping massage, makes a huge difference.

Ive been going to Elements for a year and a half. All of the staff has been great. Clarence in particular does a fantastic job and has a great demeanor and understanding of massage therapy. 5 stars!!

The Staff at North Scottsdale location is always welcoming and my favorite massage therapist always does such a great job!!

This was the absolutely most effective massage I have ever had! My therapist knew exactly what needed to be done and even took extra time to show me specific stretching exercises that would help with my pain.

Kayla is the best masseuse I have ever had. Her hands are strong and sensitive. She is adept at inferring people’s conversation level.

Been here twice and both times have been great. Therapist really listened to my concerns and worked on those areas. Reception is very friendly!

Had a great deep massage with Yesemia! The pain I had for a month or more has disappeared one day after the massage!

Tristan is my therapist, and she is great! She is nice, professional and is great with deep tissue massage and hitting the problem areas for resolution.

The front desk staff were amazing and very helpful, we had the best couples massage ever, both masseuses were amazing!

Ive repeatedly made appointments at this location and when I show up my appointment is not in their system. The last time this happened I asked that the manager call me. That hasnt happened yet (in more than a month). I want to use up my sessions on my account so I can just cancel my contract. This location isnt worth the effort anymore.
