A bit of an awkward experience. Everything was fun at first and service was great. Me and about 15-20 others joined for a grad night and as bars typically get loud, the waiter singled out a member of our group to quiet down which was uncomfortable. Everyone in the venue was just as loud so this ruined our experience and our large party decided to relocate. Quite disappointing considering the group was spending quite a bit and easily occupied the entire front lobby
Go-to bar on the hill. Nice vibes. Cool staff. Good music. Fun stuff on the TV
I went to this bar with a couple of grad friends we were here from an immersion. The bartender that made my drink first made it in the wrong type of cup, I ordered a mimosa. And then had the nerve to give me 1/3 champagne 2/3 orange juice. When I went to tell the bartender hey that’s too much juice that’s why the cup is supposed to be a flute cup so that you can add just a couple drops of juice. I guess he got upset cause he told me well everyone makes drinks different. He did give me a supposed discount charging $10 instead of $15. But all weekend my mimosas have costed $10 so I’m not really sure if he really was giving a discount. And In actuality mimosas are made basically the same anywhere you go. I did really enjoy the atmosphere, but after the rudeness of the bartender I just didn’t feel comfortable to buy anymore drinks.
This place rules. The first & the best vinyl bar in Seattle. Highly recommend. 🤘
DJ was excellent and was clearly having the best time which I loved. Lemon slushie was so yummy and actually classy?? Vibes immaculate. Only thing is there’s only one bathroom which can be a problem in a bar, but it wasn’t too bad. Would definitely visit for a pregame again.
Went here while visiting Seattle and will go for every other visit. Very cool. Vinyl only, EXCELLENT music. Stiff drinks. Great pricing. Friendly. While I was there someone made a witty comment saying “Revolver, the place you go for your last shot”. Awesome experience.
Fun place with good music for this old boomer, NO screeching karaoke like every other bar on the street. Good drinks, food seems like a after thought, the cheese plate seemed like it was sitting around for days with totally stale crackers and cheese starting to dry out.
We got to the bar and ordered our drinks and I had forgotten my card so I paid in cash. When I pay cash I like to tip at the end so I can keep track of my money. The guy tells me the total, I put it on the counter, he looks at me and goes “no tip? Great.” And rolls his eyes at me. I chose to ignore him and not let bother me and I was still going to tip him before we left, until he comes out on the porch and aggressively grabs our glasses from us. At that point we were so annoyed by his attitude that not only did we not tip him, we left and continued drinking next door at the Montana. The attitude and the passive aggressive and aggressive aggressive comments and behavior were totally uncalled for. Tipping is the right thing to do and I always do it as someone who is also in customer service, but this guy lost his tip by being a jerk and I’ll be going back to any other bar on the strip before I step foot in here again
Impressive record collection. I hadnt been to a place where the bartender spins vinyl. He turned me onto Death, the pioneering punk band.
Cool little bar. They play vinyl and have kind of a retro 60s garage rock vibe. Service was fairly friendly and atmosphere was very laid back. Drink prices are pretty good. Overall I would say there is nothing amazing about this bar, but it wasnt bad either. The bathroom situation wasnt the best, but not the worst Ive seen.
This place is rad! Vinyl records on the walls and constantly playing, weird videos on the TVs, and a fun bathroom experience I dont want to spoil here. Place is also super clean for as divey as it is, would definitely recommend. Im already planning to come back and would bring any of my friends here.
Great building and atmosphere. Drinks are ridiculously overpriced and bartenders tip themselves they dont give you all the change
Average beer selection with a cool ambiance. Service is friendly... kind of, but they get a little sassy. On two occasions Ive seen them talk negatively about customers after they left - customers who deserved it, but still pretty unprofessional to talk like that in front of other customers. Overall a fun place.
Love the atmosphere and theme. All vinyl records play while muted old school movies are shown on the TVs. Great weekly sliders and soups and amazing staff. Also a dog friendly establishment.
This bar is just plain cute. It sits on Olive way on a strip of bars, but if you like music. They play records have DJs and that s cool. The crowd is hip and mellow like the owner who is the nicest guy. If you love Jambalaya youd better stop in for a pint and a bowl I guarantee your gonna like it!
One of the best bars in Capitol Hill! They have the friendliest staff (Katie and Joe are awesome) and killer prices. Cool retro vibe featuring lava lamps, trippy bathrooms, and vinyl records playing all night!
The more I go to this spot, the more I enjoy it.Great times are always playing, atmosphere is pretty dope.Their beer... My goodness... 🤩Although I havent had any of their food, I keep hearing that its pretty good, so itll be worth to try it out.
From the moment I heard ASHBURY playing, I knew this place would be excellent. They play real vinyl albums, not mp3 playlists. The bartender was top notch, talking Heavy Metal and letting us know the set times for the MAYHEM show before we left. Great selection of beers and good grilled cheese, too. Top notch place.
This is one of my favourite Seattle hangouts. Nice little bar, nice little district. Great vinyl selection, food beet and the grilled cheese is great! Just my kind of place. Not a dive bar, just a fabulous local bar.
Super well priced drinks, great atmosphere and sociable nice staff. Love this place. The vinyl theyre playing somehow always fits the mood of the night. 10/10
Best happy hour in Seattle. Monday’s are the best for getting tipsy with their ALL day happy hour. Great fried foods menu and movies playing. They have board games too. Great place for people watching on the Hill.
Reasonable prices for domestic beer!
Went in the middle of the week, the bartender was rude and unfamiliar with the menu. The bar and the kitchen were out of a lot of main ingredients, which meant half the menu was SOL. Outdoor seating fills up quickly, so try your luck or be prepared to take your cocktail with you.
Seemed like a nice place playing decent metal and serving quality drinks but my Norwegian buddies (entirely sober in their best 40s) and I were asked for passport after coming from a metal concert. Had to leave. First time ever in Seattle. Don’t think they want Europeans there or something
Some of the best unusual all vinyl DJ nights in Seattle are at Revolver. When there arent DJs the staff play records from the massive collection behind the bar. Its not a big place but its very cool. Great snacks like tots or fries okra. Theres a little outdoor area on the sidewalk fenced in so you can sit outside with a drink if you want to smoke or just get some air. Theres never a cover, but theres almost always some weird movie on the screens. Great bar for a music lover - the polar opposite of a sports bar.
Nice atmosphere and good drink selection. I had the pork sliders and, though they were way too juicy, they were satisfying! The music was way too loud when I went but otherwise it was a nice time!
All day happy hour on Monday, bartenders know their drinks and the vinyl always sounds nice.Happy hour deals are really good for this part of Cap Hill, but it isnt necessarily a date spot since it can get loud.
Good bar. Good drinks. Rude bartenders. Watched the bartender tell someone to take their drink and sit down after the guy inquired about the price. Don’t go here if you expect good service. I got my drink and promptly left.
The absolute best bartenders, spinning the most consistently excellent records in surprising combinations. Non-alcoholic mocktails that are actually crafted with Seedlip and Ritual and taste amazing. Dont miss this place!
A quirky little bar on Cap Hill where the bartenders play records they hand pick as the night goes on. No food here, just cocktails. Great atmosphere for when youre hanging out with your friends.
This is my besties spot and of course I love it too! They got good food! Make sure you ask Joey bout his whiskey sours 😏. The vibe is usually on point too!
Great atmosphere. Good price on drinks. Fantastic music. If we go out in cap hill this is a usual spot.
Looked like a great place but girl behind the bar was rude and obviously doesnt like European customers. We left without having a drink. Enjoyed other bars in Seattle instead.
The door man Matteus made this bar brilliant for me last night, so much so he deserves a positive post. Friendly welcoming and warm and is the reason I’ll remember to stop in again when in the neighborhood!
Favorite chill night spot in seattle. Always great tunes. Even though Ill always miss the grilled cheese, the new menu is killer. Give some sliders a shot.
Very lively place on a Saturday night. Drinks and food are cheap. The only thing that I didnt like was the bartender was trying to charge me for something I didnt order. Got it squared away though.
Drinks came out quickly but wasnt too busy and the staff was friendly
Its a joke. passe trendy 90s hold out that hasnt aged well. the most uptight and pompous service Ive had in seattle. if youre this desperate for a drink; you probably shouldnt be out in public.
We got the rare privilege of watching Bidens acceptance speech here and the people running this bar are SO kind and nice to talk to. What a lovely bunch of people, thank you!
This place fux on a weekend. dj was playing some 80s bangers and had folks dancing around the place. a great time
Great cocktails, bartenders spinning vinyl records, great ambiance.Hard to find parking on weekends.Catch the light rail 😉
Really cool vibe. Kind of grungy and less college-y than other cap hill places. Well priced beers, interesting sounding cocktails.
Ive spent many a night staring at traffic drinking my sorrows away here bartenders are awesome and the Friendly locals are awesomely weird and friendly as well as great place to start your night or end your night
Polarizing, youll love it or hate it. Great shot and a beer specials. Crate digger music spanning decades. Eclectic regulars.
$5 shot and beer! Great deal! But ordered tots and they literally had crushed glass in them... hope I dont die....
I like to listen to the records, and the food is pretty good as well. I had the BBQ jackfruit sliders. I highly recommend it
Standard drinks, good service at the bar. There were a couple of tables available when I got here around 6:30 pm on a Friday.
Great vibe, tons of records, solid cocktails. They also have fancy grilled cheese and legit fried pickles.
Love this place! Great grilled cheese, beer, and the best music system Ive found in Cap Hill
Vinyl record barI am a patron of this bar all nights of the week, but especially love $1 beer pint Sundays.
Great little outdoor area (a rarity for this area). Friendly service and a good beer selection on tap.
Revolver is in my top 5 Seattle bars for sure. Excellent music. Great staff.
The whiskey was cheap. The women looked to be the same. Two 24 y/o girls talked me up for an hour until I took out my phone and started texting.
I looooooooooooooove this bar! it’s amazing cool vintage vibes super nice bring ur friends come make friends!
Best dive bar on olive. Love their drinks and that they let you bring in food
Vinyl, beer, cocktails. If this isnt enough, go away. :) Very chill folks working here, too. Definitely coming back!
Great environment, great staff, great beer and drink menu. Its an all around great establishment
Stiff drinks, good music, dark and comfortable. Better on weekdays but what cap hill bar isnt?
I went there for a friend’s birthday and enjoyed a lot there. The crowd and ambiance was just mind blowing.
By far the best place in town to get grilled cheese, fair drinks, and that special Seattle attitude found nowhere else. Try their fried pickles too!
Bad service the girl working gave our table to someone else because we didnt tip! I guess me paying for my drink wasnt enough. We had only ONE drink
Great grilled cheese selection, Decent bar Tenders and a nice decor. It fits right in on the hill!
Simple old school divey goodness with a jukebox, pool table, darts and pinball. Watch Seahawks games here too!
Beer selection was meh. Staff was friendly though. Was loud, but it is a bar so cant dock them for it.
Great place to hang out with friends and listen to music. Fried Pickles are a crowd favorite.
Great atmosphere, great people, and awesome music! Guest DJ every Wednesday!
Good dive bar, constantly spinning vinyl. Inexpensive. Friendly staff.
Great food, awesome bartenders, the best music.
Nice bartenders, usually good music, but sometimes clientele is lame (not their fault though).
Good music, good beer selection, great service.
Good place for an unpretentious drink and to listen to an eclectic vinyl collection.
Does not have the food listed on the website. Was a bummer. Beer was fine.
My most fav bar, I love you guys xoxo love this new menu!!
Chill bar to hangout with friends. I had an old fashioned here which was pretty great!
Awesome drinks, beer and cider selection, and staff. Thankfully adhering to the C19 guidelines.
Great concept with the vinyl soundtrack, but the cocktails fall short and the food was disappointing.
Great atmosphere and nice bartenders, would recommend.
Customer service wasnt great but good drinks and different!
Great drinks and friendly people. I love it
Greatest bar concept ever, record shop meets neighborhood bar!
Doorman has a big ego but other than that its a pretty chill venue!
Bar has a pretty cool vibe and a small patio out in the front.
Ramona is amazing! Great music and film noir.
Great eclectic music, good food and drinks
The bartender is on a power trip but if I was the owner I would fire him in a second.
I was pleasantly and unexpectedly surprised by the psychedelic diorama masterpiece in the secret toilet.
Lovely grooves! Nice Cocktail
Very expansive store with super knowledgeable people, I recommend this place to everyone!!
I got locked in the bathroom but it was fun other than that! Haha
Laid back atmosphere. Great music.
Decent beer but too many TVs
Its a cool place and pretty cheap too.
Great bar food and fast bartenders. A favorite
One of the few weekend chill bars in Cap Hill that Ive seen
Great music and friendly crowd.
Weird bar with good music and staff.
Go here almost every Sunday for the $1 rainiers from 4-close
I think I remember being here and having a good time
Service super bad and bad customer service I will never be back here again 🤬🤬
Chill bar, great for after work weekday drinks
