I was visiting Washington from Utah and my sister got us tickets for brunch. I have only been to one drag show, which was decent for Utah, but this show blew them out of the water! The energy was incredible, the host was hilarious, and the queens were queening. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, celebrating Pride month here was an incredible experience. I took my 16 year old son and he was enamored with the queens. Cant wait to go back for an adult one with my wife.
Before I went to Bad Girls Brunch at Julia’s On Broadway yesterday, I’ll admit that I’d only been to two drag shows in my life... This show was BY FAR superior to the other two. Shay Fox is an amazing host (and owner of this local business venue), and every performer, service staff member, and even the audience members SLAYED.As an out member of the LGBT community, this year was also my first time ever celebrating Pride, and I want to thank the team at Julia’s for making this experience unforgettable in the best possible way.I will definitely be back, and I recommend Julia’s to anyone looking for the best Drag show in Seattle.
Mixed review of Le Faux. The positives were the terrific queens and the supporting dancers (all of whom gave high-energy performances), and the competent table service. Kudos! The negatives included way too much of the Drag Mother talking for extended periods throughout the show which really made the overall performance slack, a bit too long and uneven; and the tipping with scrip. I understand the reason given for not taking cash tips during the show, but the absence of cash tipping put a damper on the audiences opportunity to interact and engage with the performers.
Julias on Broadway Drag shows were once upon a long time ago, my favorite place to go for high quality drag show performances and atmosphere. Sadly its declined with the calibre of talent, food and overall management. More MC chatter than artists actually performing. Food is average and overpriced.
We got there early for the Saturday night show. Every person working there we encountered was so friendly and happy to help. They made sure we found our seats and made recommendations on what was good. We had great seats near the front. The tables/chairs were a little tight, but no big deal.Definitely recommend the kinky bucket drink! The show was very fun and exciting. The host, Shay does a great job keeping the show going. All the queens were absolutely beautiful and had great performances.Such a fun experience. Will definitely go back and try the brunch next time.
I was looking forward to a great drag show......unfortunately it was just mediocre. First of they tell you on their website to be there by 6:40 p.m. for the 7:00 show or your tickets will be sold to someone else. So I made sure I was there on time for what I was expecting to be 7:00 p.m. show. The show did not start until after 7:30 p.m. so I had sat in those cramped hard seats for almost an hour ( without Air Conditioning in August) before the show even started. When the show started I was hopeful that it would be fun and fast moving to keep the energy up. Sadly the M.C, the owner of the place liked to talk a lot........I wanted to see more performance less talk. Also the talk was with just a select few people at the front tables. Try spreading it around a little and maybe youll keep peoples interest. Anyway the show was supposed to be from 7:00 to 8:15 according to the website. We did not get out of there until 9:37. Again the reason was too much talk and not enough performance from the Drag Queens. By mid show my butt was tired and needed a break from those hard chairs so I went to the back of the house to stand and watch the rest of the show. So a couple suggestions. If a table has not opted to eat dinner with you before the show dont require them to be there so early. If you cant afford to fit the area with Air conditioning at least hook up some fans to blow on the patrons while they sit in the 85 degree room. Invest in chairs that have more padding. For the MC please cut your monologs in half. Some of what you were saying was fun but then you tended to ramble........I dont know if thats because you were drinking too much or if you think thats what people want......... trust me people want less talking and more action. I been to quite a few shows all over the country and they tend to move along quicker keeping the audience interest. The performers did a good job I just wanted more of them.Paul
The brunch in the title should be removed from the drag brunch show, there was no brunch, which was very disappointing. Also, the venue is tiny and not very well kept. The servers, and performers were great and I did like, not love, but like the show. The biggest take away was how expensive everything was and the surcharges and hidden tips were pocket gouges. I Will not revisit. Thanks for the memories.
The best show on earth! My 1st drag show & most certainly not going to be my last. I brought my girl friend for her birthday & she said I did so good she would not know how to top this. I do just bring me back! If you want to see a good show go to this show during the day, if you want something a little more raunchy go at night! I can’t wait to go to the night show!
1st time in Seattle and being able to go the Legendary Julias on Broadway an see TOP LEVEL Drag performance was amazing! Shay is 1000% my kind of Queen. Put together head to toe and the comic chops to go with it. Cannot wait for my next trip to Seattle to see what these performers Gag and amaze me!
I went for my 50th birthday to the bad girls brunch show and had a blast! The whole staff was ready to serve you and have fun!I was just my bold and boisterous self among so many others! So much talent!I am looking forward to going to more shows in the future!
The Bad Girls Brunch was a rowdy fun time with a talented cast. Shay Fox did an excellent job with her wit and stories between the numbers. Highly recommend.
Julias is one of the best places to go to feel everything youve ever wanted! Comfortable, at ease, entertained, free, relaxed and welcomed 💖The talent is Vegas Level performances with such amazing queens and Shay leads the way!Yall need to come to Julias whenever you get the chance!
I have been to Julia’s for several drag shows and it is always a great time! The host, Shay Fox is hilarious!! Between her quick wit and entertaining dance routines I always leave wanting more!
Hats off the everyone for this amazing show. Host, Shay Fox, was on point for everything, she’s hilarious, dry witted, and very quick off the mark, a total professional. She had a lot of work with 2 very loud and drunk ladies but made it work as part of the show. Loved the original songs, the dancers were phenomenal…really loved the drag dollar exchange for tips so everyone gets their cut. We had eaten before we came, so only had fries but the beer was good, $10 a glass, bit pricy but captive audience so to be expected. I would definitely recommend this brunch and if we were back in Seattle, we’d definitely come back.
This show is incredible! Everyone is so talented and friendly, the outfits and routines are do well-done, and the backup dancers are AMAZING. If you havent been, you should go!Watch out for the Electric Vibrator drink! Its delicious, like a mocha Frappuccino with a hint of Andes Mints. It doesnt taste like alcohol, so I accidentally drank 2 doubles (well, not accidentally; I drank the first one too quickly because it was so tasty, and then was sad it was gone and ordered another).
This is hands down the best drag/burlesque show with sprinkles of comedy thrown in I have ever seen. I feel like every attention to detail far exceeded any expectations of mine. You can tell lots goes into these performances. Its not just thrown together. The food and drinks are amazing. I know some comments about the menu being pricey. However, I can guarantee you can try and go to another drag show in Seattle and you will be let down. This place is on a whole other level. Im so excited to come back here again with my friends.
We went for the Disney villain themed drag brunch, and as 90s kids, it did not disappoint. Shay Fox was hilarious as host, also first time Ive been to a drag bar/club co-owned by one of the queens. Also, I appreciated their system of buying fake dollars for tips and then splitting the real money between the queens. Servers were attentive and friendly.
We had a big group for a birthday celebration.Queens were great, however they haven’t changed the show much in the last two years, as I saw this show before and it was practically the same unfortunately.Back up dancer Jenna was fantastic!Food was okay, it’s a theater to be expected.Servers were good!Bottomless mimosas- mostly orange juice, unfortunately and at $39.95 their menu lists $36Multiple times during the show the MC made comments about “what’s in your wallet “ proceeded to reach in two guests purses/ wallets asking for additional money. When you walk in you are asked to change your cash into their tips and can only be in quantities of $20. I don’t like how much you’re told to tip. I probably would have tipped more, but didn’t like that I had to buy their fake money to tip the queens. I have been to many shows and this is the only place they ask for money like that very unprofessional. The MC Shay made a few inappropriate jokes each person can have their standards on what is funny. However the jokes about having eating disorders and making fun of them lasted to long, in an inclusive community mental health jokes are not funny. Lastly the brunch is 13 and over, a large group of children came in, well under the age of 13, which put a damper on the experience for many people in the crowd. However the parents were great with all the kiddos! The menu also has wrong prices listed two people in our group were charged more than expected- that should be fixed.
Nothing but amazing things to say about this place! I made the mistake of buying tickets on the wrong date and the staff were still able to fit us into the show which was amazing! Definitely the best drag show I’ve been to and when in Seattle it’ll be a mandatory stop for sure
Great shows put on by great performers! Everyone is so friendly we had a great time! Can’t wait to go back.
The queens and show were great, 5 stars for them! However, the staff and bartender ruined the experience. The bartender was condescending and rude, and our waiter was half asleep. I probably won’t return because of how the bartender treated us. He was a prick! The drinks were overpriced and tasted horrible too (the juice in the mimosa tasted expired and rancid).
Glad to finally be able to go to Julia’s after many years living on the hill. Had fun at Throwback brunch.Be mindful that drinks and food aren’t included in the price of the ticket. Drinks are very expensive.Food, drinks, tickets and tips all add up but everything is expensive everywhere these days and these are hardworking performers. Most people know that tips aren’t included in drag performances and bringing tip money is necessary, I did find pre-exchanging money to tip somewhat odd but was glad to be able to still tip the performers. While the food was OK we came for the drag and had so much fun! I recommended getting there 30 minutes before the show to settle and order food and drinks. Seating is pretty tight so if you are larger that may be an issue. Will definitely be back!
The show is entertaining for sure. But Julia’s seems focused on fleecing you at every turn. You have to buy fake tip dollars in $20 increments ahead of time. Drinks have an automatic 25% tip that you have to manually undo on the handheld reader. It’s hard to have a good time when the venue and performers are trying to drain my wallet at every interaction. Be prepared to spend $150 per person after ticket, tips, and a drink. All for a very predictable show.
This is a perfect example of what happens when you take Drag, Glamour, Dance, Food, Drinks and create an amazing experience. Go get your attitude adjusted the fun sexy, appropriately raunchy humor drag extravaganza which is Julia’s. Oh and amazing backup dancers
I went to a show here for part of my best friends Bachelorette trip, and it was such a fun time! It was a little expensive for a cheapskate like myself to truly consider going again (we all paid minimum $150 for the ticket, tips, and your food + drink. Anyone who got bottomless mimosas paid about $200) BUT after seeing the show, I think it was worth it to experience it at least once. The costumes, makeup, and production in general were just amazing! And their dance captain, Jenna(?) was absolutely amazing. It was hard to pay attention to the drag queens when she was out there. I dont drink so I cant really attest to how good the drinks or mimosas are, and I definitely think I ordered the wrong food because I didnt enjoy my meal all that much BUT I still think the experience overall was worth it and it made my best friend so happy + her Bachelorette so special!
I found the show to be a great time and the Queens were so beautiful and professional. You deserve 5 stars. Unfortunately the all inclusive bathrooms exclude me and I wont be going back because of it. Im a conservative gay man. I would not pee in in the company of my girlfriends, mother, grandmother or my daughter (yes, i have a daughter) I am not good with peeing in a bathroom of anyone elses female family members either. Im speaking for myself and this is part of my boundaries. Enjoy the show otherwise
Recently purchased two VIP tickets to the Men of Carnival cabaret show. Amazing performance by the entire cast from the dancers to the drag hosts, but I left wondering how my experience was any different than anyone elses. I had to flag down a server just to get some water and when I had to ask for napkins with our food I was given cocktail napkins. Julias as the venue should match the energy of the show and that just didnt happen.
While this is a fun place, great entertainment, and friendly staff (which, lets face it, is hard to come by in Seattle) be prepared to spend more than just the price of the ticket for the show. Our show was a Sunday 1pm. $40 a ticket. Then at the door when you check in, you can purchase fun tip money for the performers during the show. I believe it was for $10 or $20 increments. Then food (~$18-$30 entree) and drinks (~$16-$25 per drink) of course. Your table tab will have a 22% show fee, the food/drink you order, plus taxes and whatever you tip for your servers. Also, note that bills cannot be split, at least with a larger party, which is pretty standard. Not sure if theyll split if its under 6 ppl or something. As far as the food, one in our group never got the entree they ordered and the breakfast burrito had very undercooked bacon so not appetizing.
Horrible experience. I went out for my birthday expecting a great time. The show and performers were amazing so this review is not a knock on them. However, the service was trash. We ordered our drinks about 30 min in, the server dropped them on the floor and it took another hour to ask for a replacement. We watched her dance with patrons and chit chat with people instead of remaking our drinks. The gals in front of us were waiting over an hour as well for a bottle of champagne. Waste of money to be treated with such a disservice. I tried using the Julia’s money to take a picture at the end of the show and they declined and said it was only cash, we had about $40 in Julia’s bucks with us too. I will not come back unless the service improves.
I was skeptical at first due to the seat price, but after seeing the opening number I was sold. Money definitely worth it. The backup dancers were spectacular. The emcee was great. The only thing I’d say negatively is I wish it was longer. I wanted more.
You could do better by staying home and watching RuPauls Drag Race on tv and drinking a White Claw.Very loud sound system. Drag show is fun, but way overpriced. Only 2 of the drag performers seemed to be prepared. The other drag queens just wiggled around and made snarky comments. Cocktails tasted like cheap soda pop but were priced like champagne.I attached a video snip of the best drag queen. But that was about 5 minutes of the show out of 1.5 hours.
We took our daughter here for her 21st bday and her first drag show. Julia’s NEVER disappoints! The queens were on top of their game. They even went above and beyond by getting a cake for us the day of! We will be back for many shows. The service was so incredibly good I don’t think we ever had an empty glass! Thanks so much for the memories and keep up the amazing work!!
We recently enjoyed the Friday night Le Faux Show and were thoroughly entertained. All of the performers were awesome. Dressed to the hilt, always on and very cheeky! Though we didnt eat dinner, the drinks were fabulous! Adult entertainment.
Amazing! This place is wonderful. Great atmosphere, fun, delicious food, good drinks, polite staff, and incredible performers. Go to Sunday brunch! You can order a bottle of champagne and have mimosas. They have yummy breakfast food, like an upscale diner. The show was fantastic. Shay was so funny, the dancers and performers just terrific. The costumes were georgous, gorgeous, as well as the people wearing them. We had to wait for our ride and the dancers let us wait with them. Just so nice. You must go!
Don’t waste your money here this place will scam you and is absolute trash. My friend and I bought the $100+ ticket for their New Year’s Eve show, which was advertised as including a 5 course dinner and champagne toast at midnight. We got there on time, and placed our dinner and drink orders. The show started and they brought out several rounds of drinks while everyone else around us was eating their food, I don’t know why they don’t plan it better so that everyone’s eating the same course at the same time, but everyone around us was eating at different courses. Halfway through the show we told the waiter we have not received any food. They still proceeded to bring out drinks while we watched everyone around eat. The show ended, and we still hadn’t received a single dish. However, we did receive the champagne toast at the end of the show. The waiter told me to tell the bartender that we didn’t get served and when I went to the bartender, he was so rude and implied that because we drank, we got our moneys worth. The ticket we bought included the food, not the drinks, so we were fully prepared to pay for all the alcohol that we ordered (which couldn’t have been more that 4 drinks). None of the staff was helpful, and then they kicked us out for complaining and being mad that we paid $150 in total for the tickets which included dinner and the tips. My friend then texted with the host and production manager, who told her ”I know you received food because I watched you eat it”. This place is unprofessional, and will allow you to pay for their formal holiday events and not get fed then proceed to kick you out when you tell them so. There are better drag establishments out!
Went to a Friday night show and it was so fun! Their ticket system was odd online- you have to purchase sections regardless of how many are in your part.y Paid for VIP because it was the only way to buy only three tickets and nothing was included...not sure why it was considered VIP. You cant tip the performers directly, so tipping was allowed after the number...Not sure how it is distributed but I know there has been wage concerns for the Queens. Overall it was a great experience and definitely a SHOW. Show ran about an hour and 15 minutes.
Went for the Le Faux show drag brunch and had a great time! The show was theatrical, fun, and showcased a talented cast. The menu has lots of unique cocktails to enjoy during the show as well as food.
There are a ton of drag shows in Seattle and Julias as a drag show is very nice as far as content goes. Food is okay. The significant and medically problematic concern is with the sound system.I took 3 people there and 2 of them had tinnitus for a over week after the show. One of those guests has permanent ear damage and Im so angry Im about ready to sue. If you guys werent community, I mean it.Please get a better sound system and/or lower the base volume on the songs and especially whatever awful transportation SFX was chosen for the time transition parts. The queens were delightfully entertaining and all extravagantly beautiful. The history was palpable.Thank you for your time.
Went for the Le Faux show drag brunch and the service was terrible for the price. The admission price doesn’t cover food or drinks. As soon as you walk in they guilt you into buying Le Faux dollars because you can’t tip with cash. We arrived well in advance of the show but they didn’t take our order until 1 min before the show started. We asked for water 5 times and didn’t get any. Our meals came before cocktails so we had nothing to drink for over an hour. We were asked if we wanted to do another round at last call and said yes but never received anything. We were charged for it though so had to wait while the missing drinks were removed from the bill. After we finally settled up, they ask if you want to add ADDITIONAL tip and hide the fact that they auto-charge 22% gratuity on top of the $50 admission cost and already overpriced drinks/food. Definitely taking advantage of the event/wedding crowd by price gauging. Too bad because I’ll never go here again. Performers and costumes were good but almost no interaction with the crowd. Go elsewhere if you want a typical drag brunch with good service and fun drag. You can’t stand up or dance the entire show.
I went for the Throwback Brunch, and it was awesome! It’s a great production value and the cast are amazing. There are lots of Blue Diamond parking lots in the vicinity, so it’s pretty accessible. My only other comment is to be ready to be patient with the food and beverage service; our group’s items were forgotten or wrong a couple of times, but I also understand how hard it must be to be a server in that environment. Totally recommend checking it out, my cheeks are still sore from laughing!
My instant hollandaise sauce and dry store bought biscuit with tomato and spinach came out cold, sadly before I could even get them to bring me a glass of water. Oh, and the flavorless fruit costs $1 extra, so make sure you say hash browns when the ask you which one you want. Hopefully theyre better and dont cost extra. I got a Texas Bloody Double, which wasnt bad. It just took an hour to get there and my friend who was there and ordered long before me didnt get his until 20 minutes after that. The servers were fumbling, seemed flustered and getting food and drink orders mixed up left and right. Be prepared for strangers seated at tables near you to be handing you plates down to you. The venue was only half full, (on the Sunday before Halloween and I think I see why now) so Im not sure why they had us all crammed together to the point they couldnt reach the tables, leaving the entire back half of the venue completely empty. Even after they give your order to the wrong person and that person handles your plate and sips your drink, they expect you to just trade. Mind. Blown. The show itself was pretty good. They want you to buy coupons in $20 increments for tipping the performers when you enter and claim its for COVID purposes, but the coupons are torn and clearly re-used. I imagine its so that you are committed to spending X amount of money, which is unfortunate because I would have tipped more than $20, but I didnt want to commit to $40 or more without knowing how the performance would be. After the show, they took the card of the first person at our table with their wallet out and without even asking, ran our entire table on their card! Btw, they charge 22% gratuity automatically. So that was $375+ to their card without even informing them! Unbelievable. This was hands down the worst dining and/or drink experience Ive had in 2022.
The performances are amazing here and I had a great time. I was especially impressed with the dancers, however, the way the room is set up is not ideal as half of your group will likely be facing away from the stage. On top of that, to get the full package, including meal is pretty pricey and then they charge you to upgrade to edible food. Seriously the food they offer in the package was all pretty gross. The drinks are good though, but they are also very pricey and a 20% gratuity is automatically applied to every drink. Honestly, I would have rather handed the $100 I spent here to the performers and skipped out on food and drink.
We booked reservations for 6 for the Le Faux Drag show on 9/17/22. We thoroughly enjoyed what we could see of the drag show but the price gouging was insane. Upon checking in, the queens guilt trip you into buying le faux dollars to use as a tip instead of regular cash. I get the idea of staying safe and Covid etc, but pre buying $30 worth or “tip” money for the show was just plain robbery. Furthermore, the price gouging for a birthday shout out (additional $100) or a birthday package (additional $275) is not worth it. We were sat in the performance hall which was far too crowded and packed to enjoy the performance. Or even sit comfortably. The service was truly awful. We were sat well before the performance began and the server didn’t come around to take our order until 10 minutes into the show. Our drinks took another 30 minute on top of that. And even when our drinks were delivered, 3 were missing. And those weren’t delivered for another 30 minutes. We also opted to order the specialty cocktail called Le Faux, which was advertised as coming with a special commemorative glass, was such a rip off. It was basically a tall vodka Red Bull in a pint glass with Le Faux etched on it in. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.We were finally able to enjoy the last 2 acts of the show with our drinks. At the end of the show, they advertise pictures with the queens but ask another $20 for the photo op. (You can’t use Le Faux dollars either). We had to hunt down our server to settle our bill, who ultimately misplaced the credit card that held the table. We settled up with another card and set out to the bar to find the lost credit card. Staff sent us back into the hall to track down the server who did find the card and tried to charge us again. When we brought up our grievances to the manager, we were brushed off by them saying that they’ve had 4 servers walk out this last week. Whether that’s true or not, that’s a Julia’s problem, don’t make it the customers.100% recommend finding another drag show and venue to spend your money. NOT WORTH IT.
The two shows we went to (Drag Show and Meat Show) are five star shows. They were funny, we laughed, yelled, had a good time. Would totally go back. The only reason I put 4 stars is due to the bar the show is in. We came to Julias for the shows for the first time for my birthday, we showed up at 6:00pm since the website states that is when seating starts, we were going to eat dinner before the show (An option you have.) When we walked in the people that worked at the bar seemed very clueless. They couldnt answer any questions we had. They said their GM would be out to answer questions of ours and other guest in the bar for the show... 6:30pm rolls around & still no GM and not seated in the room the shows in. About 6:35pm rolls around & three guys (All very nice) show up and get the show going and everyone seated. We were so clueless asking a few questions and seemed nobody had answers... The company/people that run the shows should do a training for the bar Staff. Again... We had a great time, the food is limited not your typical bar food its an upper end type food, things like steak, mash potatoes, stuffed chicken.I would pay for the better seating or you will be very close to your neighbor. We had a blast! We will for sure be back.
By far the worst experience Ive ever had with a show. The place quite literally wasted two hours by lying about their director flying into SeaTac when the president visited. I understand that a flight delay is out of their control, but the hosts lied that the director was in an Uber on the way to venue. That was never the case, so they essentially held us hostage with our credit cards in their possession. Not only that, they did NOT even GIVE US THE OPTION OF A REFUND WHEN THEY CANCELLED THE SHOW. They only gave us a month to rebook for the show.In all of this two hour hostage situation, we got served one round of drinks. Not only was this a terrible experience, Im pretty certain the level of lying and incompetence exhibited is illegal. The queens who did a Q&A while we waited suggested that this place is the Premier Drag Show in the state of WA. If you continue with this level of ineptitude and theft, Julias deserves to be shuttered permanently. It was absolutely a joke.
Queen of the Brunch is a wildly entertaining, HIGH energy production that will have you singing, dancing in your seat and feeling GREAT about such a loving and accepting room full of people. The venue is clean, there isnt a bad seat in the house and the Queens are soooo talented and so approachable after the show! Treat yourself or someone you love. It is the best Drag Brunch in town (maybe anywhere!)and the food... amazing!!! =) Enjoy!!
My partner and I came for a quick visit around Seattle. While we were in Capital hill, we wanted good food and this place delivered. They had excellent service. Our server was very friendly. We had sat close to the heaters to stay warm cause we had no coats on. He asked us if we would move for a big group which we were happy too. He was very apologetic and friendly. We moved around spots and let the family take the bigger spot so they could enjoy comfortably. He made sure we were still by the heater. Our food came and it was definitely worth it. The BBQ inferno burger was so good! Julia’s, thank you for the Great food and Service! We will be back again! Our trip to seattle was perfect and this place was a nice addition to the trip.
You want entertainment or simply a great meal, then you came to the right place. I’ve experienced there meals, happy hour, and took in a show. A fun time and great people watching, it will keep you on stitches.
This place looks amazing inside and had a great soundtrack to accompany the vibe presented. However, I just walked out after sitting down with my lady for a short 15-20 minutes that included purchasing 1 flavored shot, a Corona and a Bloody Mary. What was a short stay ended up costing 50+ dollars. The Bloody Mary was way overpriced for the size in my opinion. The flavored shot was over half the price of the Bloody Mary. The beer was priced regular. Was there anything special to the drinks? No.Pros: cool vibeCons: overpriced
The performances are always amazing but had the Hawaiian Benedict and hash browns for $18 and the entire dish was flavorless and the hash browns were mush. By the time I got my waitress to bring salt to try to salvage the food it was cold and even worse so I basically paid $20 for a cold tasteless egg because I couldn’t eat the rest. It also said two cards allowed per table and there were only two of us at the table but they refused to split the bill so I got stuck with an $80 check. I’ll just go back for the shows from now on.
We came for brunch on a Sunday at 10am, and the place was empty! Just one other table of diners in the whole place. First the good - good music, good bloody mary, good coffee, sweet servers (We were not there at a time when they were having performances). The bad - we were both given dirty water glasses (mine still had lipstick on it!), and the food was bland. Some of the garnishes were wilted like they had been sitting out for a couple days, too.
Visiting from out of town to celebrate my 50th and was treated to an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING Drag show for brunch! One of the BEST I have seen in decades! The food was absolutely of good quality and verymuch worth the expense! Overall, an amazing experience!!! Too bad it was marred by being told that my hometown of Tampa is referred to as “Trampa” by one of the proprietors of the establishment! :( I am a proud citizen of Tampa and happy to be a part of the growth of the city from which I hail. I am also impressed by Seattle! Just not appreciative of the insult….literally ruined an otherwise AMAZING experience. From seeing Eladio’s desire not to pay his performers in other reviews; I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised that his arrogance leaves him to believe he can insult his patrons!
I didn’t go here for drag brunch so I don’t know if my rating reflects the full experience. As far as food and drinks go I would say it’s average on a good day. Good place for good cheap pregame drinks.
My mom used to take me here so i went for nostalgia. But $24 for a beer and whisky????? I should have looked at the receipt but i trust people too much i guess, and if i wasn’t overcharged thats f’d up. I’m steering everyone i know away from julia’s from now on.
1 star based on service as weren’t able to eat. We are big fans of Julia’s in Wallingford but were closer to this location so stopped in for a bite. They weren’t busy but after being seated, we sat for nearly 15 minutes with waiters walking all around us but no one ever stopping at our table. Waved at a waiter a couple of times and they indicated they’d come by but never did. We then took an Uber to the Wallingford location and the driver told us she had the exact same (no service) experience multiple times there.
Went to Julias Saturday night for the celebrity impersonators show. Up close and personal drag performance. Food and drink was rather expensive for being just decent. But I swear Mariah Carey, you were truly there that night!
The drag performers are PHENOMENAL and should be compensated accordingly - this rating is in direct response to Eladio being unwilling to consider, compromise or compensate his staff who are incredibly talented and largely responsible for this establishment’s success. Do better!
I was in the other day with my girlfriend and forgot to leave a review but I was blown away with the customer service and overall experience i had while we were there. Stephanie was the bartenders name and she single handedly made our night. Will definitely be becoming back and hope to see her there!
We came for drag brunch and had an amazing experience. We showed up when the doors opened and had plenty to order food and drink beforehand. Show quality was topnotch.
Julias is a most see venue - Some acts are great. Some acts, not so much. Overall a fun experience & I would recommend attending at least once.
Went to the evening drag show. It was a ton of fun. Everyone was really friendly. I would have given it a 5 if it werent so cramped and if the service were faster.
I visited Julias years ago and say one of their shows and was gobsmacked! The performers included dancers, drag queens, burlesque and aerial entertainers. Went back and learned they are enjoying their 18th year and the shows are even better. Seating is great. Food is the best Ive had for what is basically an entertainment and theatrical experience. Great time by All. Go. Bring friends. Have fun. CELEBRATE!
We went for Le Faux last weekend and then Drag Race this weekend. The staff is quick, attentive, and really friendly. The food was delicious, as were the drinks. The performances are hilarious and incredibly entertaining. It’s a guaranteed great night out! What are you waiting for?!?
Fabulous news!Julias on Broadway is approved to open today!25% inside/50% outside capacity.I cant wait. Love Julias on Broadway!Go Eat @ Julias on Broadway!
They sold our pre-booked birthday party table for the show out from under us and then could not refund us back on the card so gave us cash...our group of 6 was stuck apologizing to the birthday girl and settled for bar food...needs new management for sure.
First time at a drag show and I had such a blast! Incredible preformers and amazing atmosphere!
I just want to start by saying that the show was amazing as were the queens, BUT with that being said, there was a queen who was wearing a Native American headdress in the show and being native I felt that I need to point out the fact that this is not a costume, please educate your queens on cultural appropriation and the negative connotations that come with it.
So much fun. Very talented entertainers. The dancers were also very talented. The servers were very professional and patient. Worth seeing!
Owner is extremely rude. Zero customer service skills. Im sure the only reason this place stays afloat is because of the performers.
Loved Brunch drag show! Fantastic performers, drinks, food, and atmosphere! Its a must to see a show here!!!
Saturday drag show was AMAZING!! The drinks are strong and the Queens are fierce! 10/10 recommend
Truly was the best day ever. The energy was off the chain, the food and the drinks were great, and it was best experience ever.
Sunday night karaoke was a fun experience with welcoming people. My favorite right now. The pick.
Children should not be allowed to attend these shows. It’s disgusting you allow parents to bring in their kids. Shame on you.
Ate here a couple times & was always good but Stephanie went above and beyond to make our experience amazing! Food was amazing will definitely be back
Isaac was an incredible server and they were always there when I needed them! Food was delicious!
For me is the best bar in the whole capitol hill area, their employees are the best especially Bobby that he treated us awesome, we definitevely recommended
Wouldnt let me use the bathroom because Were only doing takeout orders right now Apparently that means I cant pee there.
