Hotbox Smoke Shop

This is one of those places where you wish you could choose negative stars. The staff are not kind, they dont give good service. I will drive miles or go without. I do not recommend this place.

Went here looking for menthol flavoring with no extras. Sold me 2 different products (total of $78) both tasting nothing like menthol, only like candy with sweet aftertaste. Said there was no way to sample the taste of anything here and only after i bought both products that they recommended, did they say yeah, everything we have here is going to have a sweet taste. This was after I tried the first item I bought and told them again, I do not want anything with a sweet aftertaste and they recommended a different product. Out $78 for something I instantly threw in the garbage.

Huge selection, good prices, very knowledgeable and helpful staff!

Ive been coming here for over a year, they always have the best products and best service. But tonight I bought some Kratom, after I drove off I mistakenly thought I was given a lower amount. I went back and they took my word and replaced it without question. When I got back to my car, I decided I needed to look better incase I missed something, and then I found the missing bag under my seat. I made sure to give them back the extra bag, but I cannot express my gratitude enough that they went the extra mile to replace what I thought was missing, and this is exactly why I love this store and their team behind the counter, I should have left you guys a review a long time agoThankyou so much everyone at Hotbox Northgate, you guys seriously make this the only place I want to shop at!

The people were nice, but tried to charge me 40$ for a 100ml bottle of juice that killed my coil

Actively tampering with their kratom bottles. I buy krave and it always comes with a krave bottle seal beneath the lid and my bottle of 500 was 30 short. Also there was always powder on the inside of the bottle and jacking up prices. Ive bought from them 3 times now and its been the same aluminum seal every time. Wouldnt trust em with anything but buying a water pipe and even then might charge and arm and a leg.

They opened the door and told me I had just a few minutes before they were closing and helped me find what I was looking for. They helped me find an alternative to what I wanted because they did not have it. The staff here was VERY helpful, knowledgeable about their products and were also courteous. I will be dropping by here again!!!! They have a great selection of pipes, vapes, and bongs! Very satisfied with my visit.

Great shop and great staff! Huge props to Rayna!Today, a $10 bill fell out of my pocket on my way out, and they went out of their way to call me and let me know so I could come back for it. Im really impressed by the honesty, since I feel like a lot of people wouldve just pocketed it and looked the other way. Good people deserve good things, so Rayna gets $10 and a shout out!

Its okay there sometimes is a lot of homeless around asking for money its getting better

Super dope shop and awesome crew highly recommend this shop to any and everyone in the area , after buying a juice I didnt like I went back and explained to the associates and there manager offered 50% off a new one and since the sales dude helped me choose it he offered to pay for a bottle of my choice in return. over all best customer service hands down ill deff come here for anything I need

LOVE this place. CHEAPEST cigarettes youll find within 2 miles and If you smoke/vape/chill, they have anything you could need. ALL accoutrements necessary... including incense, kratom, cbd, GREAT staff and vibe (and even spores).... js, I go here regularly. Def a one stop shop....

Called to ask if they had a certain product, they said yes. You have to scan your ID because math is hard. Then when I saw it was the wrong size I asked if another store might had it. I was looked at with confusion and told I dont know so I asked could you call them his reply was I dont work at that one. So I had to just call. No answer. So now we have learned that math is hard and they have no idea what a landline is. Since Im getting no where I decided to call the Everett store..... Big mistake. The guy was very overwhelmed and when I was try to see if they had what I wanted to buy I was told Im busy I have to goI used to go to support them because they used to be a good spot. But now its the same as you find in any corner store. Dont waste your time or money. At least look around first.

They got all the vaping stuff you need, and all the rest of the stuff you need for that West Coast green life

I went in for the very first time to get a Juul after doing some research online and the gentleman working was amazing. He answered my questions, showed me how to use the product, and made sure that everything was in working order before I left the shop. This was a 10/10 experience. I will be going back in the future for cartridges and anything else that I may need.

Ive had many positive experiences here and I got my friends to come as well! I always recommend them for your glass and smoking needs. All staff will go out of their way to make sure your set up is going to work! I forgot to mention the prices are always reasonable and affordable!

I had been a loyal customer for many years, exclusively purchasing from this store. Fairly high turnover of staff; appear to have lost the best along with a good manager. Recently, have received poor to terrible customer service and condescending attitudes and tone. I cannot in good conscience continue to recommend this retailer and will be willing to pay higher prices to avoid spending any more money at this business. Nearby 7-11 is currently providing better customer service; which speaks volumes for sharp decline lately.

Their selection of glass and smokeware is better than what youd expect. Prices arent decent. Staff was friendly and patient, very helpful as well. Got a nice nectar collector for 35. Vape juice selection isnt great, would love to see them expand that. Would return anytime.

I’ve been coming here for a while and everyone is very friendly and helpful but don’t know if I’ll be purchasing vapes from here anymore. Their policy is for you to try the vape before you leave the store so they can assist you if there is an issue. Once you leave the parking lot they won’t exchange or return a defective vape because they can’t guarantee it was purchased there. Totally reasonable policy. However I bought a vape and tried it in my car which was parked directly in the store. It tasted burnt and was making a wet/crackling sound. I’ve been buying the elf bars for months and never had that happen. I went back inside and the associate told me that can sometimes happen when they are new and I needed to charge it. Thought it was weird because again, never experienced that with an elf bar. She was pretty dismissive and again told me it would resolve after I went home and charged it. Big surprise, it didn’t. And now that I’ve taken the vape home it’s not eligible for a swap. Why have such a policy if you’re going to tell people to take the vape home when they say it doesn’t seem to be working properly? Waste of $30 and not worth risking that again.

I stopped in to buy a replacement coil for my enail. Christian helped me and was great! Unfortunately for me, my old banger was too small, and when I came back Hally was extremely helpful in making sure I had what I needed when I left. Great service!

The guys who work in here are SO friendly, helpful, & informative! Plua they are open late most days of the week (til 10pm), which is great for me with my schedule........Even tho this smoke shop isnt the closest one for me, after coming in here once (as well as hearing about their rewards/savings members program on my way out), I know that I am going to be making the trip over to THIS store for all my smoke shop-related needs-- from now on!! :) Thanks guys! :)

They had a really sweet staff, I was stratified when I left. But than I went to another glass shop in greenwood, and saw the same piece I paid eighty for, for twenty dollars. The exact same piece. Really bothered me, cause I felt so satisfied when I left. I feel hustled.

I bought a vape for $20 here. Within 2 hours it’s burning and tastes horrible. I bring it back the next day and they did nothing about it. Absolute rip off. It goes without saying I will never spend money here again.

Ive been a customer here for several years now, and the staff has always been friendly. They listen to the needs and wants of their customers and try to stock the items their patrons would like best. They also have a lovely selection of hookah pipes and shisha (hookah tobacco)

Ill start with the bad. Theres one employee here who absolutely cannot make it to work on time to open the shop. So... dont go right when they open because they wont be open. Included a pic of the employee opening the door ....10 minutes after the place was supposed to open. Other than that, its a good shop with great selection.

Got a fantastic box vape here for a surprisingly thrifty price, given how quality it is. This is also my first box vape, and the people helping me were so helpful (and patient, lol, Im sure I asked so many noob questions). They walked me through everything, demonstrated things I didnt know about, and clearly knew their stuff.And in the end, I got a vape better than I thought I could afford. Ive also been there before to replace my wax pen, and they were great then as well. Couldnt recommend them more highly if I tried.

Wow SUPER overpriced compared to other shops in the area. I thought it was expensive when I got rung up, but thought maybe I was just remembering prices wrong... Nope, looked at the box for the same exact product (Orion nic salt vape) when I got home -- $45 at iVape Shoreline and $75 here. It was 20% off through my 5 stars account so probably not going to go return it to get like $15 back but definitely wont be shopping here again...The stars I gave are because the customer service was good.

Well again after all another review and another novel could be published but well instead I would rather write one that has a great Plot and suspense so this wouldnt have that at all so with that said.IF you are needing smokes or vape juice, ok smokes are decent price, as far as vape juice goes, well to be honest, as a vapor my self, and shopping around and searching for a hidden or missed vape shop personally, this one for vape juice selection is ok, ~$$$$$PRICE $$$$$$$, well that is a bit step here for Sure, and I have found that they either are told or pressured to push and suggest certain or particular brands as well as flavors, an I learned long ago to use my own knowledge and not go for what the store pushs an or says is a great juice, so they will try and upsell which is fine and all that is part of the game called sales, but you have to just use your common sense and long as you dont have to technical questions in regards to the Vape Mods and or All in one devices you will do fine as they often dont know much more than what they see currently in front of them and are able to sell.

They have a large stock of coils for various tanks in many variations. Alot of fluids as well i stop in every now and again for coils and they always have them never a line. Its a great little smoke shop with everything a smoke shop should have.

Im editing my review rather drastically to reflect experience. The second vape pen I bought from them broke within a month, and so to fix the issue, they very generously have me 50% off any vape products. Except.. I had a bunch of issues with the new one they gave me, and had to replace the batteries twice because the first two packs were duds. When I asked for help with the other issues, they stated that they werent a vape shop, and suggested a place 20 minutes away. After having the kaos box for less than 6mos, the display has already gone out.Initially I loved this place, but not so much anymore. Constant issues, and varying levels of customer service quality. I order everything from vapewild now. Cheaper, and FAR better customer service.

Everytime Ive been in I have always received great customer service but Saturday was the icing on the cake. Christian sold me a replacement pyrex glass for my stick prince, took it home and it didnt fit. I was very skeptical at this point because I am new to the area but I know most places do not do returns or exchanges on vape products, but I knew it was a manufacturer error because the packaging said it was for stick prince. I took the glass back in the store and was helped by Benny as Christian was occupied with another customer. Not only did Benny search for a new glass until he found the right one but also gave me an extra coil to make up for the difference in price and the inconvenience. I thank both Benny and Christian (who came over to assist after helping the other customer) for stellar customer service and I will recommend this store to anyone who asks and will also continue to give them any service. It was by far the best customer service I have recieved from any smoke/vape shop and I have been vaping for about 6 yrs now. Thank you benny and Christian and thank you hot box!! Cant wait to return

There are a few times, I’ll ask the person at the counter for advice or any other information I may have that day, but when I do... it’s all factual and helpful info. They take pride in the products and knowing the products. Thank you for your help as always!

I’ve lived walking distance from this spot for the past 3 years and the staff is always friendly and genuine and is willing to be honest with quality of products as well as knowledge of products! They always recommend the best value for your money and I have yet to be disappointed! They’re one of the only smoke shops open a little later in the area also!

Terrible prices. You can get the same stuff elsewhere in town for much less. We totally got ripped off on a volcano. Extraordinary shop, I exclusively shop here due to the top notch Knowledgeable and friendly staff! An excellent little smoke shop, stocked with a huge selection of tobacco and marijuana smoking accessories priced to sell. They also carry a variety of kratom strains. The staff is well versed in the functionality of each product, and will deliver recommendations that you’ll find helpful. Juul pods are a little more expensive than at the neighboring 7-11, but you’ll find a better selection of flavors. Funny name though, considering Seattle doesn’t allow smoking indoors for businesses and most apartments enforce the same policy. That observation is about all I have for a ‘critique’, and that’s a stretch. Smoke on Seattle.

Friendly staff but way overpriced. On multiple occasions Ive found the same product somewhere else with a price cut of at least 50 - 75%.

They jack up prices more than 3x here. If you are able to, go somewhere else. They are WAY too expensive.
