I usually don’t like giving bad reviews. However I have to warn.I went in to have my regular gel removed. Nail technician removed with drill only. My nails look horrible and super thin. Worst is, I can’t believe I paid for service and tipped 😑I got home nails started to break and I had to cut them very short to avoid any further damage. DONT GO!

The worst! For a $20 acrylics soak off, they used only the drill, no soaking. Absolutely destroyed my daughters nails while I was at the grocery store since they finished in 10 minutes. Nails are now paper thin with red spots and cuticles bleeding. After this 10-minute con job they have the audacity to ASK her for a tip. AVOID!

This place was absolutely TERRIBLE it did not feel welcoming at all and they all kept talking their language. Sophia was the lady that did my nails and she was absolutely rude and she sucked her teeth when I asked her to clean the sides of my nails that because I had nail polish on my SKIN as you can see in the picture she didn’t care to, my nails look crusty she didn’t even remove cuticles, my nail started bubbling and I told her and she sucked her teeth and grabbed my arm aggressively and aggressively wiped the nail polish off and obviously I had to pay before she painted my nails and I tipped her $5 before this horrendous job she did and she didn’t even say thank you!! She looked at and threw the dirty cotton ball on top of it. If I could give this place a ZERO STAR I WOULD. I spent $42 plus $5 tip and it looks like a child did my nails and I feel mistreated and hurt.

The only reason I gave it 1 star - its because it wont let me leave a review with no stars!!!!I have had to use their services twice this month, and after today - NEVER AGAIN! The only thing half way descent was the massage and I didnt even go there for that. I asked for to cut and remove the acrylic from my own nails - thats a $15 charge. She cut my nails down to the trunk, and removed the acrylic overlay with a metrocard. There was no soaking off anything. She butchered my nails to the point that she couldnt salvage my own nails. She insisted on putting acrylic on my nails for them to grow. I was left with stubs - what am I putting acrylic on stubs for?!?!? She asked me what shape I wanted - I said square. Im not sure what her definition of square is, as most of my nails are deformed and rounded off. BTW - did I mention I also had a pedicure done?!?!? Yeah, about that... horrible! $48 for her to pretend to scrape IDK what from the top of my toe nails with the cuticle stick. I dont have ingrown nails - I explained this to her the last time - I just have excess cuticles, she insisted on digging with the cuticle cutter and cutting off the sides of my toe nails, instead of cutting off my cuticles.I chucked and decided that Ill take the Loss since I walked in a second time after being disappointed the first time I went. I paid $136.00 for the horrendous job that was done... and still decided to play nice and give a $5 tip for each - she had the audacity to look at me and ask if the $15 was for the 3 of them ..... Not only are they bad - but theyre demanding too!DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!

I can’t believe my mother decided to get her nails done by this establishment and a lady name Sara was very disrespectful. My mom made a comment about her UV gel being thick as she requested for it to be thin. Sara ended up following the assignment afterwards. However, during the checking out process my mom tips Sara $5. Sara looked around as their were non minority females at the establishment. She yells out wow $5. At first Sara did not accept the $5 and just stared at it. I couldn’t believe my mom experienced this type of treatment. I wish have taken her $5 back.

The woman really looked like she didn’t know what she was doing. At some point when I started complaining she gave it to someone else who didn’t do any better. For the prices they are charging it’s ridiculous. They are in hurry to just cover all the cuticles they left with nail polish. You see they put the paper to separate the toes so they are ready for polish with my toes looking like these. See pictures if you think I’m exaggerating. Never again.

I had a really good experience with this salon. Lily did my nails. What was really pleasing was after she took the gel I had on from a previous manicure she asked me to wash my hands instead of using those dirty brushes with everyone else’s nail dust in it. She also made sure the nail polish covered my entire nail. Overall I’m pleased with their service.Edit: I visited again today and by now I’ve been here several times and I usually get the French tips because I’m not adventurous or creative. The only thing I want to add is your experience depends on which nail technician you get. The outcomes are not consistent because of this. I haven’t had a problem with getting French nails previously but today I wasn’t happy with how they looked and after an hour returned to the store to see if they can be changed. I was told by the manager that I had to pay additional money and that it’s not their problem that I don’t like the end results of my nails because I chose the color, paid and left. I did not choose the color, I explained. The nail tech told me that the color she tested on my nail was for French and that a second layer would make it darker and I trusted her. My mistake. I didn’t even mention that she filed my nail until it bled or that the lines were uneven. I did have to let her know that I had a pool of paint accumulating on one of my nails that she fixed but otherwise this reflected poor attention to detail. The customer service was very disappointing.

Telling your customers you forgot to tip is unprofessional. I tipped more than generously for my nails but was told I didnt tip for my eyebrows. Heres a tip: when I get great service my tips reflect that. I will not be stopping by again.

I’m a guy. My feet have issues. They know reflexology. professionals. I sit in the chair for 40 mins. It keeps me going and well worth it. Coco, Ada and Sam are the reflex specialists.

I really wanted to give this place a solid try because live close but, I’m telling you, it’s not worth it. They basically yell at you if you don’t tip what they feel is proper, regardless of the experience you have. Also, today I got a service and asked the nail tech not to make my nails too thick. She said she wouldn’t and that she wasn’t done. When it was all said and done (and after three coats of gel) I told her it was too thick! I was already pressed for time and asked if I could come back the next day when I had more time to fix it. She said “it’s not my problem”.I won’t be going back.Check out their yelp reviews if you want more info. I should have listened to the feedback. I’d post a photo but it’s so bad that I don’t need it living online. 😞

Terrible service, crooked nails. I asked nicely to redo for my birthday and got a rude response back saying it was my fault I didn’t like the nails. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Nails are too expensive for them not to come out the way I want them.

Great massage with Sam. Fast hands, but they worked. Fantastic stretches.

I have been going to this place for a while and they started getting crazy about tips back in 2016-17 so I found a new place. I went back 2021 because it is the closest to my home. i just pay $83 for a gel mani and pedi 104 if you use a credit card and then lisa had a problem with my tip her and her coworker telling me that I supposed to give her 15 or 16 dollars. I told them you can’t tell someone how much to tip you. This is not a restaurant where it’s mandatory that you get a tip I just paid for my services. I do not have to tip you so $7 she got and I will not be going back. I had no problems until Linda left and they think they slick they try to make one do the feet and one do the nails so now I got to tip both of them? Smh they tripping

I went in with my daughter in the morning to get our pedicures and manicures. My pedicure and my daughters were good. However my manicure was not dont right. I paid $88 plus they tax me so it came up to $97 dollars. Then my daughter wanted her eye brows wax which was 12.17. Now I had tip the lady who did a great job for my daughter manicure, eye brow wax and pedicure. She humiliate me in front of everyone saying where is the tip for the other people who did my manicure and pedicure. First off you dont do something like that to a paying customer. Second I dont have to give a tip if I dont want to. When this place was highly expensive for regular service which I asked for. Never again will I come to this place now I know why this place has 3.7 stars.

I went with my mom to treat her to a relaxing pedicure. The price for the services is pretty good but the service itself was sub par. It was easy to book a same day appointment and they had enough technicians to comfortably give a pedicure to both of us at the same time. The technicians were very quiet and I dont think said anything to us, not even a hello. My pedicure was really rough and my moms was worse. She later told me that the man giving her a pedicure was really rough and the massage was quite painful. My technician cut my cuticles too aggressively and later I had a mild infection on the cut. Once we were in the drying area another attendant immediately asked for payment before we were even dry. Once I made my payment no one came to check on our nails and we were effectively ignored. It was one of the worse pedicure experiences Ive had just from the poor customer service.

I have left one review before in my life for compliments only but I was so taken aback by my experience. I arrived at 6 pm and asked for a pedicure and powder manicure. I was told they could do the pedicure and would see if there was time for a powder. I said I needed both together so if there wasnt time, I would gladly come back another day. I was told they could do both. The young girl who did the pedicure was absolutely LOVELY. The woman who did the manicure was rude and extremely rough. She made it clear she was unhappy about being there and I am 100% certain that she went out of her way to hurt me. I have multiple MULTIPLE cuticle cuts, was bleeding from 2 fingers when I left. I will NEVER return to this salon and will advise anyone I speak to do the same. But she left at exactly 7:30 as she had hoped so I guess it worked out for someone.

The service was too fast so no good care of the nails, she barely cleaned under the nails. The polish was over my toes and some nails are not properly painted. The manicure table was dirty.

Long overdue review. Been here once and would never go back again. Went with 2 friends to get pedicures. They rushed the entire process, it wasn’t busy at all but it’s like they were intentionally trying to see who could finish first when we were in our chairs.. very unprofessional amongst each other and obvious to us. Also asked us to pay before we even had polish on our toes. Made us feel very uncomfortable. We were the only 3 girls that looked different than the rest of their clientele that day. There were women who came in while we were there that they took their time with.

Went to get a manicure/ pedicure and paid $37.22. once my nails were dry I got up to leave and got asked did i want to leave a tip. i said no I dont have cash on me, ( mind you i just paid. She says oh do you want to go to your car and get cash. i said no i just paid you, she then insists she void my transaction and recharge me including a tip. i said why would i do that when i already paid and can tip next time. Literally was hounded for a tip when I just paid you almost $40. No one else was hounded about leaving a tip but i was, and was the only minority in the nail salon at the moment. I totally understand that this is your job and tips help, but harassing someone about a tip is way out of line.

Be REALLY careful when you pay, they are trying to confuse you in order to make you pay more, plus they decide how much you should give for a tip otherwise they get annoyed whit how much you give. Im pretty aware it is between 15 to 20% tip and that wasnt enough for them.Then when I asked them to explain to me the charges, their answer was in a really disrespectful way and the manager was raising her voice.So sorry about this, the work of the nails was good, but how you come back to a place like that.Hope this review is helpful because it is extremely disappointing to go to a place and find out this at the end.

I had scheduled my appointment and was taken on time which was great ! They took their time and did everything they had too but it wasnt as I expected. My nails still had some things there cut right, the nail polish was all over my toes and the lady who did my nails kept huffing and puffing as if she had a problem. The place is clean and nice but the staff should slow down a little bit and take their time to making sure its done perfectly because we are paying for these services.

The Greatest massages, by Ada or Sam I usually get. Eyelash Extensions by Lilly. Also have a manicure pedicure. Love the gel pedicure last for over three weeks. No chips.Very professional very reasonable price have been going there over 10 years would not change.Very clean, great for the value, with very professional staff

I had read the reviews but wanted to give it a try and i should have just went with the reviews. Money hungry as soon as i gave tip he counted it in my face and said 20% im sorry but i tip by how i feel of my experience i should have gave him nothing but i did not like how he did my pedicure i’ve gone places where its cheaper and better quality i wont be coming here again and suggest people to think about it.

They place is nice the rush they don’t scrub that well , and they charge you extra 5.00 to remove gel from toes .it was ok it look like my daughter had done my toe nails .

I got a gift massage from groupon and they tried to charge me, then I explained it was already paid and they demanded I have to give them 15% tip over full price of a massage (not the groupon price). If you come here keep in mind they demand for tips. I noticed other people being harassing about a tip.

Stamfords best kept secret. Have been going here for years. The salon is clean, open, and airy. Services are affordable and staff friendly. Best pedicures in town. Avoid Sundays...very busy and staff rush.

Love this place. Affordable and efficient. Ive done my lashes here, mani and pedi, body scrub, and massage and I have never had a bad experience. Take a look at their packages. They have quite a selection.

Today I went here to get a gel pedi/mani - the nail polish is peeling on my nails and the gel underneath is making a mess. I’m going out of town tomorrow am - very early - so I can’t go back and get this mess off of my hands. I will see them on Tuesday and I expect a full refund. Totally aggravated!

HORRIBLE SERVICE and the worst pedicure Ive ever had...basically washed my feet and painted the nail. I had to go home and buffed my own feet ... and the young man was not a communicater....never again will I go through those doors.

Don’t go here. Plenty of better options for your nails and better customer service nearby. Avoid and save yourself a headache.

Highly recommend! Staff is friendly, helpful, and experienced. Comfort, cleanliness, and attention to detail were made top priority. Will definitely be returning…often!!!
