I must say this building is always super hot inside which would be the only downside! Great atmosphere and DJ Mauro is always on point! The new remodel is good for performances and bigger dance floor and better VIP sections!

Terrible experience here. Extremely expensive, and for what? You cant even sit down without paying for a table. Know yourself, you are not at that caliber of establishment. We paid $60 for three people to enter, and $40 for two drinks. Completely not worth it. I simply could not wait for this place to close and be replaced by somewhere better. Dont bother with this place, in the bad part of town and just go to Seattle

Cover charge is $20 unless its a special event. Coat check is $5. Be mindful of the dress code. Security is awesome and attentive. Not alot of places do a thorough search before you go inside. The upgrades to the spot make it even better than before. They upgraded the VIP sections, added a stage, and the overall ambiance is nice. Get there early to enjoy the location before it gets crowded.

Drinks are okay, but atmosphere is amazing!! So much good energy and fun. If you want to dress up and dance this is your spot.

Always have a good time here! This time we did the bottle service and it was definitely a great time. Our server Liz went above and beyond the whole night. A person in our group lost their phone and she did more than I would have expected to help. Will definitely be asking for Liz in the future, shes the best!

No one dances. The worker girls just push drinks on everyone. Ive been to a ton of clubs and never at 1am was the only couple on the dance floor. The door chaege Is $20 ,and the music is bad enough that the dance floor is empty.

This place has potential, but theres a lot that needs to be changed in order for it to really work. I called a couple weeks before to find out the best time to arrive , pricing and other general information. I was told over the phone that it was a 15 dollars cover but on Fridays it ladies night when I arrived with my husband on Friday it was 20 dollars not 15 as I was told. Security was very thorough, howeverthe atmosphere was a little bit off. The employees try to upsell you as soon as you get in the door. The music was extremely loud and I go dancing a lot. Almost every single table was VIP so you have to pay to sit down which I think is ridiculous. Even the bar top tables that were right next to the dance floor were VIP. The drinks were very expensive, it costs over 20 dollars for 1 drink and a bottle of water. The music was not very danceable. Unless you are an experienced Latin music dancer, I would not attempt it. At 11:30 we were literally the only two people on the dance floor. The dj did not Transition songs very smoothly and there is a definite overuse of air horns. Honestly, Im rather disappointed to see that this is what Tacoma has to offer in the dancing scene. Looks like Ill be driving to Seattle for a reasonably priced good time with music I can actually dance to.

Sorry but this place is way to over priced and especially being in the ghetto of Tacoma. The drinks are watered down and have hardly any flavor to them what so ever. Music is way to loud and there’s no tables to sit if you need too. $25 to enter is absolutely ridiculous. Save your money and go somewhere that’s actually worth your money and time.

I was at the black elegance party last night it was a blast. There was this server named flor and she was so sweet and without effort got us drinks that were perfect for all of us she made us feel welcome and I asked her questions and even though she was busy she didn’t mind it was so nice so I will definitely be back this place was the best 20/10

So, I couldnt get a straight answer about this place. Finally, I went there. Heres how it works.I went Saturday night. It cost $25.00 at the door, as there was a Halloween costume contest. Normally, its $20. The doors opened at around 9:45, though Google said 9:30. They werent ready yet. We all froze in line.Once you get in, the place is clean and nice. There are either 2 or 3 bars. The tenders were nice and friendly. You can pay $5.00 to check your coat/purse. The restroom is clean.If you want to sit, you need to pay for that, extra. Its pricey. And I understand you should do that ahead of time, but no one confirmed. They have a number of groupings of leather upholstered couches for RSVP and a few tables, also for RSVP. They are package priced and come with drinks.Otherwise, you can stand. I was told there are unreserved tables, but I couldnt find one and I was one of the first in line.The dance floor is mid-sized. People were dancing with drinks and spilling them all over it. It was packed.The music is not what I was expecting. I was thinking dance class salsa and bachata tunes. Nope. This is like Latin house, if I had to describe it. It was not danceable for me. It was syncopated beats. Add to the noise, frequent air horns blasted by gorgeous, scantily-clad coctail waitresses. They use fog/bubble guns and air horns and sparklers and whistles (yes, gym teacher whistles) to bring joy/attention to certain VIP reserved groups. Its LOUD. The music was extraordinarily loud, and I go to music venues often. Zero conversation is possible here.I was driving, so I ordered a diet coke. $9.62....before tip. Diet coke. Yup. I asked if there were free refills.Almost all in attendance were 20-something couples. Everyone was dressed well. Those not in costumes were in semi-formal attire or dressed appropriately for a provocative music video with all of their assets showcased. Lots of skin.No one was doing fancy salsa moves. Everyone was just mostly swaying to the monotonous cadence of the synthesized beat. It reminded me of The Sims.I cut my losses and left after just over an hour. There was a long line of folks waiting to be allowed inside. Im sure it was being kept below fire code. Besides the dance floor, there was plenty of space to wander around. There was security all over, and everything seemed up to code. With how poorly the Latino community is treated in this area, Im sure they have to watch their Ps and Qs.Needless to add, I will not be returning. If I want to try out my Latin moves, Ill go on Fridays to Century Ballroom in Seattle.

Overpriced! we got kicked out because they said we were drunk when we barely got there for not even an hour, and we had one drink because it took 30mins to get our drinks because it was so busy. They didnt even let us ask why they thought we were drunk! They just said we had to leave n we couldnt take our bottle water that we paid for!

Visiting tacoma from out of town found this place from tik tok. When we arrived they wouldnt allow our male friend to wear his hat or durag. Okay so he took them off. We tried to put the hat in our purse since we took an uber and didnt have a place to put it. They wouldnt allow that. We took an uber to another clubby bar instead and had a great time. Based on the dress code i would not recommend. Its also kind of out of the way compared to where other bars are so money was wasted on the uber.

My friends and I went here for the first time last night. I will say it is expensive. We got there a little after 930. It was 50 dollars if you wanted a table. The girl also said its 450 for I think the VIP? But I could honestly barely hear. The music was extremely loud lol. There wasnt many people there until around 1130pm. Thats when we started dancing. We really enjoyed the music, but the transitions were weird at times. The bathrooms were super clean but kind of small to get in and out. I would honestly go again. The drinks were spendy as well. They are double over here then what Silverstone is...but the staff is wonderful

First experience was a great time here—I enjoyed the Latin music, upbeat vibe, and dancing.Second experience was a horrible experience—by the time I got to order drinks for me and my friends, where we had planned weeks prior to enjoy ourselves here, both security and the bartender hustled me out of $80 and kicked me out 🤔 no drinks for me or my friends—I paid the cover and bartender and to be kicked out in return? Disrespectful.I’m not sure what ownership has going on here with that kind of service or how they can make me whole after that tbh. I enjoy dancing and it’s a nice local option but I feel like they’re kind of a POS establishment after the way they treated me.

I had a long time without going out, but my wife surprised me taking me to this awesome latin night club in Tacoma, I was very impressed with the service and music! We had a blast. Recommended all the way.

Right when I walked in the floors were sticky. That was a major turn off for me. And the dance floor was kind of small. My friends and I danced the whole time but we were so squished it wasn’t as fun as I wanted it to be. But besides that the music was amazing! Non stop good music. And I was sure in heaven with all the sexy people in there. I’m gonna have to say that I will definitely go back one day.

I went there with my friend for her birthday, it wasnt what i was expecting. We didnt know that we had to reserve a table in order to have somewhere to sit, so we ended up standing the whole night. The floors were super sticky and the prices of drinks was so expensive. It was super crowded. The music was good but other then that we had a fun night.

Im only giving three stars because besides the fact that I liked the environment, that the place was really nice, and that the waiters were amazing….. the DJ wasn’t all that great. I was expecting a little bit of everything doing mixes , but he would stay on one music genre for like 5-10 minutes , it’s like switch it up my dude! Anyways that was the only part that got me. Will possibly give it another chance .

Service is good but drinks are full of ice, not enough alcohol and the presentation is not the best. The DJ did not transition the beat between songs in a nice manner. Just cut it or add it like comes. Overall is a clean place.

The Door charge was $10, there was a short hispanic lady Im guessing may be the owner. She charged me $15 instead on Friday dec 16 around 11pm. I should have asked for the reciept, but I didnt think this place would be hustling illegally like that. I will definitely report this. Despicable --the night was slow. Never going here again and I advise anyone not to if you dont want a corrupt business swindling you.Ask for a reciept and check your bank statements

It’s a super fun place to party at! The music is great and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend for a fun weekend! They are also open on Thursday’s. Also offer bottle service with really pretty bottle girls!

Employees were very helpful and kind but most of them were NOT wearing masks. They were not enforcing masks which was disappointing. Music was to loud to hear myself think or speak so we didnt stay. The fries were really yummy too.

You have to put down a $150 deposit if you buy a table, but they will still attempt to charge you full price at the door. They also tried to charge me for their most expensive package which was $100 more than what we agreed upon. Very sneaky and greedy, will never step foot in this establishment again.

Visited on 4/16/22, This Place is TRASH. Used to be a good spot, but now, their Employees are trained to be Sales Reps, & Sell Empty Tables to sit at, or get people drunk, then cut them off & close their Tab, so they can move another group into their spot, & repeat the same thing.Owner needs to figure it out. Theres a reason why your establishment isnt as full as it used to be.But I guess if youre charging $15 for entrance, you dont care if people come, see how dead it is, then leave.Find a different spot if youre looking for a FUN time out.

Poor choice of music.2/3th of the club was reserved for VIP while there was no one in it. We could only stand against the walls. Because otherwise the personell would complain.not worth its $15 entry

You guys need a better DJ. The upbeat mix sound it’s too much and not enough variety. Latin music is #1 in the world right now and there so much music yet the DJ played the same old songs like gasolina, oye mi canto?? Whattttt is not 2005… lol And there’s a cover charge!?! Hell naww

Weve been excited to come here for months, but covid delayed everything. Now that were in phase 2, we actually got to dine in, & Im happily impressed. Very spacious, several TVs, great service, tasty drinks, and Im not gonna lie, after months of being trapped indoors from covid, I was VERY happy to see chips and salsa delivered to the table. Huge plates of food too. Im hoping this place sticks around. I could see us coming here every week or two.

This place is excellent! Authentic Mexican food, very tasty, fair prices and very friendly attentive service. I hope everybody who loves Mexican food will visit this establishment and support them. Not only are the staff professional and helpful, but the ambience and aesthetic of the location is brilliant and beautiful. The food and drink was superb and obviously freshly made. I highly recommend checking this place out, they are a very clean and comfortable establishment worth seeing.

Security owes me a new hat, dont tell me to take my hat off and offer to hold it and tell me its safe when yall give it away to the wrong person, the person clearly took it because 1 they do not make that colorway anymore and 2 I had a gold fishing hook on there that meant a lot to me and when I asked how they can help me, they couldnt. Wasnt worth the money to go in and get my stuff given away by security, they didnt secure anything. Get me a new hat and we can talk about changing this.

Don’t waste your money! When you pay for a vip table but can’t get a waitress to take an order, then when you do finally order it takes 30 min for some nachos! Management was rude af kicked my friend out because she bumped a picture on the wall! El pique is 100% better! We will never take our business to fuego again!

I moved here from another state and have been having trouble finding AUTHENTIC Mexican food and let me tell you I finally found it. Almost all other Spanish restaurants in Tacoma (el sabor, memos) claim to have carne asada but they use ground beef. El fuego however uses delicious real skirt steak for there tacos THANK YOU ! They served me the most refreshing mojitos for only $6. There salsa was homemade and fresh and happy hour begins at 3pm :) The Spanish community needs to rally behind this establishment, they opened right in the middle of the pandemic and deserve a shot at success. Hooray for brown owned business!

A Latin night is advertised but its 90% reggaeton and a splash of other Latin genres occasionally, otherwise its a great place good staff and drinks l.

The music is so loud here my ears rang for like 12 hours. I went to bed woke up and they were still ringing. The music was good and the servers were nice but it was obnoxiously loud.

It was my first time there, I didn’t like it bc the server never ask for a tip she kept keeping the cash when we would order!

The truth is, I didnt like it. I wont go there again. It was my first time going to that place and I dont recommend it at all. In the first place, they said that they charged 15 to enter and when I was there, they charged 20. Secondly, and more importantly, they charge quite expensive tables. Its not like I was going to bring them home for 450 per table and if you lean on a fence or whatever you want to call it, they also take you away and in a very bad way, I mean, that experience is horrible, you have to be on the court until you go to the bathroom. security looks at you ugly, I wont ever come back, not even for the return 👎👎👎

I went here a couple of weeks ago. I dont know what it was about the alcohol that made me so sick. I drank 3 shots of tequila and I literally dont remember anything that happened. When I woke up, my arm hurt horribly and I couldnt move it. I thought it was just me, but no. ! The same thing happened to the two girls who accompanied me, we thought that maybe they put something in our drinks or the alcohol is adulterated, we will definitely never go back there!

If you want to have a good night out I recommend this place, very good atmosphere and if you are a woman you can feel safe coming to enjoy the security is very good and the service too

I definitely didnt like it because you pay 250 a bottle and before 10:30 you pay 10 for the entrance, we arrived and the girl who charges is being rude to us and said that you pay rules when we talk to make sure of everything other than the music pure ballata the cante cante didnt play a band or norteño or cumbias they really dont have a good dj and thats what the tenampa is missed
