T-Town Swing

I have nothing but great things to say. I’ve gotten way more out of T-Town Swing than the initial lessons that I signed up for. The community is extremely welcoming, the instructors have always been supportive and friendly, I’m starting to get suspicious that they might just be good people. If you’re reading this review because you are on the fence; I’d recommend just signing up for a month of Intro to Swing and giving it a shot!

When I first moved to Tacoma I was having a really hard time finding community. Then I came here and met so many people who wanted to get to know me! Its truly a social dance.I have always wanted to get into dancing, but felt like other dance spaces were really formal. This space is very encouraging of beginners and everyone dances with everyone!

This is a fantastic dance community that does a great job making a safe and fun space for new dancers to learn. I cannot recommend them enough!

Such a great place to start dancing as a beginner and as an established dancer. Couldnt ask for better organizers and people in the community.

I love, love , love coming to these classes! Everything is broken down simple enough for anyone to follow. The people, including the instructors, are so friendly and helpful.

Came to learn how to dance, stayed for the community. T-Town is by far one of the most safe and welcoming environments I can think of. Oh, yeah, and we dance from time to time too. :)10/10.

T-Town Swing is an amazing and supportive community of dancers and the nicest people you will ever meet!! Its incredibly beginner friendly and you never need to feel shy about asking someone to dance. The instructors are super helpful so take classes and fall in love with Swing Dancing!

COME TRY IT!! So so so beginner friendly and fun and affordable and welcoming and kind!!! The teachers here are phenomenal and patient and lovely, the music is fantastic, and the community is just wonderful. If you’re curious, just take the leap!! You don’t need to bring a partner or ANY preexisting talent or knowledge (I promise). See you soon!!

I started taking lessons here back in May and have had a blast! I’ve learned so much while enjoying myself. They are very clear with instructions and break swing down so even people like me can get it!

Best Thursday night Nightlife in Tacoma, the community is so welcoming and lovely. And Swing dancing is so fun!
