I love live music but not too much to this place because music was too loud. Tables were really close on the stage, so when the band starts singing, I cant even have a conversation with my husband because I cant hear what he was saying.The atmosphere was nice. Service was good. But, I was not happy with my fish taco. It was dry.Dog friendly, tho.
My gf took me to enjoy our lunch there. I love my braised beef and mashed potato, it was good! My gf ordered chicken teriyaki and was also good but the rice was a bit hard.The service was not that good, we waited a long time to checkout and the food took a bit long to arrive and the place was not busy at all, so a bit disappointed.In addition, the portion compare to the price and other places was a bit small.
We ate lunch on a Saturday, no wait and service was almost immediately. We started with Peach Heat Rolls, (probably the best starter dish Ive ever had), Old Town Fashion, perfectly made and slightly sweeter than most old fashions and a Queens Berries, sweet and flavorful. Lunch was Blackened Mahi Mahi tacos, Chipotle Ranch Chicken Sandwich and Mac & Cheese. Food overall was delicious. Fries was just fries but we will definitely ear here again on our next trip through.
Okay this was our first time being here and they said they were at capacity at 1am on a Friday night and there was only 10 people in the entire club. The hostess was rude and I asked what capacity was and they told me they are not legally allowed to tell me? I’ve never heard of that rule before and they had us stand outside for more than 30 minutes. Was super confused on why we were treated so poorly. The pictures shown is who were super rude to us and didn’t give us their names
Really enjoyed our dinner here. Small little gem. Outdoor seating with heaters. Background music. Relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly service. Tried the Peach Heat Rolls, chicken pesto linguini, and Sweet Heat Burger. Sweet Heat burger was delicious. Got the jalapeño jelly on the side which made it a little dry, but once combined it was good (also added the peach jalapeno jelly and it made it so much better! Drinks were good too.
Ok saw great reviews booked a reservation for a large family group. It appeared they were understaffed but we carried on.Unfortunately, in the simplest terms, I’d never eat here again. Maybe the chef didnt show up and they threw a busboy in to cover, but the food was terrible and took forever. I ordered a simple short rib holindaise. Typically, at minimum, you would expect savory moist shortrib over a nice crisp English muffin with a poached runny egg and a beautiful holindaise.But no. We receive a dollop of dried out short rib on a nearly raw English muffin with a hard Boiled poach egg (yes I know thats an oxymoron) with a teaspoon of “homemade” holindaise which was the only possible way to moisturize this dried up mess, but there wasnt even enough to cover the hard-boiled overcooked poached eggs. Ohhh a and cold breakfast potatoes. Did I mention everything was served cold.We all ordered something different but walked away with a similar quality of food feeling very disappointed.It pains me to say Dennys would have been a quantum leap in food taste, preparation and for a fraction of the price. We have not eaten there in years but do know what would have been served and know it would have been better had we done so.The service staff was good and clearly covering too many tables so hats off to them but everything begins and ends in the kitchen. And unfortunately it ended, got over cooked, dried out, and went cold before it was ever served.
This was a lovely spot for brunch. It was a warm day but the outside patio was fine. I had a breakfast sandwich which was great. Two of our party had the hangover burrito and it was huge. Breakfast potatoes were bland and tasted frozen but the rest of our food was fine. Servers were great. Be forewarned, everything is $2 more. Oh yes...the goat toast was amazing!
The food was great. Music was great. Staff were even better. We got there 40 before music started with a toddler. Staff told us they could seat us directly in front of the band but would ensure we had our food, could eat, and pay before they started. They were true to their word. Music wasn’t too loud so we stayed for a song or two. Will definitely be back. Every single staff member we encountered was super kid friendly.
Service was excellent and friendly. My dtr order the brussel sprouts chicken salad which was good and crispy. Husband ordered the Reuben sandwich he like it too. You must order the Tomato Addiction for appetizer it was delicious! I ordered the PBBLT. Pork Belly BLT but they ran out of Pork Belly! They also run out of ice tea for their Arnold Palmer. We would go back for their brunch looks like they have great selections of food.
Worst dining experience for a simple brunch gathering that we have experienced. It took 2 hours to get our food and the food was poor quality and cold. The reservation was for a party of 10 and made 2 weeks in advance. The server was told how to exactly split the bill but he made several errors which caused the last person to be stuck with a $116.41 bill. Guests had to leave because they paid for 3 hours of parking and we were past that time limit due to poor service. I was the last person and my bill should have been $24. I took the bill to the manager and later discussed the over charge with the owner. The response was that we had their very best waiter and he did not make errors. The management team here told me I had to contact the other guests and get them to basically reimburse me for the $92 server error. The Public House is unprofessional, disrespect their guests and does not hold their employees accountable.

We have been going to Public house for a few years and feel it is going down hill unfortunately.The music was very loud making it hard to have a conversation.Our food was not good.The rueben sandwich meet was tough. The regular Hamburgers were not cooked as requested. The sweet heat burger was also cooked incorrectly. There was no sweetness or heat. The gouda cheese overpowered everything.The fries were old like they had been under a heat lamp for some time.Summer sprits Hard Drink was sweet. They even screwed up my diet coke.Service was very good yet He didnt ask us how our meal was.The bill for 4 of us was $200.The cook was careless about the meals.I definitely feel like we were ripped off. I wont be going back and dont recommend this place to anyone. Its unfortunate the establishment is so careless.
What a fun place to grab brunch at! The atmosphere and overall vibe at The Public House is great. I ordered the Hangover Burrito and let me tell you, its Big. I could only eat half of it! I washed it down with a Gin based drink called Watermelon Suga, now this drink was everything! Smooth and sweet, but not overly sweet where youre cringing from the taste, it was truly a perfect drink. For appetizers we had the hummus plate, great for sharing, and the jalapeño cream cheese egg rolls that came with an apricot jam; do yourself a favor an order a plate of them, you wont regret it!Ill definitely be coming back to Public House next time Im in town!
My daughter brought me here for lunch. We started off with their amazing Tomatoe addiction. I love the way they soaked the tomatoes in the balsamic vinaigrette then they added the cheese and that made it amazing!So yummy!!We also ordered the short ribs.The meat was very tender and tasted on point!! My daughter ordered the drink and I took a guess at what it was.I think it was a Mimosa flight but unfortunately Im not positive. It looks good though. I had their signature Ice tea. Unfortunately I cant remember the name.Unfortunately Ive never tried this kind of Iced tea before & Its very good! It has a fruity flavor too it! Everything was really good here! Even the service! Everyone here were all very polite and attentive! The restaurant was very clean too!!We will definitely be back!🤩👌
Everyone here are so nice and funny. Got the sweet heat burger🍔 so far the best thing Ive tasted. Definitely stuffed now. Also, got to get a sherly temple 🍒 so tasty 😋.!!
The service in atmosphere are very cool. They have live music and the waiters/bartenders are super friendly. Food is just okay. Their mac & cheese is really good especially with all the toppings. Good drinks. But the regular entrées and other dinner items are just okay. If the food were cheaper than it would make more sense, but this is more of a drinks spot.
The service here sucked on Sunday evening between 4 and 5:15 (Cinco de Mayo) not a single person greeted us when we walked in! We walked in, seated ourselves! I grabbed menus from the bar after 10 minutes! Nobody came to help or check on us for over 20 minutes! When I finally flagged the young server down and told her we’ve been here a while, she annoyingly went to get us waters! Every single server in that place did not look like they wanted to be there! No eye contact! The manager with the braids was even worse! No smile! No customer service! No acknowledgement! Got visually annoyed when we asked for something! I’ve been here before and has great experiences but last night sucked! I spoke highly of this place and it was my friend’s first time there, and they were appalled! Where do you get these people to work for you? They all need customer service training! When we left my usual barman walked in with a smile on his face for his shift, but we were so over it and not returning! So yeah one of the worse experiences at one of my fave places!
Unbelievable PERFECTION. It simply doesnt get any better than this. Kobe beef burgers, Vegan Chili, Deconstructed Chicken Pot Pie (magnificent) Ban Mi Sandwich. Pork Chop A+++ The biggest craft beef selection anywhere. Fun Fun Fun staff and crowd ever. I CANNOT THINK OF ANYTHING HERE THAT COULD BE BETTER. A++++++ SIX STARS
I have loved enjoying Public House for many years, but tonight was the worst experience I have had. The service and food were great as always, but the live music was unbearable. We wanted to enjoy conversation and I could not even hear the person sitting right next to me. If I wanted to attend a rock concert, I would have don’t that instead of having dinner at the Public House. We made a request to management to lower that volume because my 3 year old daughter continued to tell us that the music was loud. Without proper ear protection the 90 plus DB coming from the stage was horrible for her little ears. Management did nothing to help with our request and we rushed through dinner just to get out of the extremely loud and uncomfortable environment.
Their fries are the best. Their flatbread has no crisp so everything flops off even small pieces. Cool DJ vibe in their big outdoor eating area. Interesting drinks. Generally inspired offerings. 25% preselected for you when they run your card. Yeah, no.
I didn’t know that this restaurant offered some great vegan options as well as gluten free. The restaurant is located in what seems to be someone ‘s nice backyard. They have a fire & water feature at the front and also in the middle of the seating area. The place has a pub feel and the service is excellent. Our server remembered our names throughout our dinner. I like that they ask you about your food preferences as well as allergies.I tried the fried green tomatoes appetizer which was vegan. I strongly recommend their aioli sauce which includes a touch of habanero. I also tried their Bella! Lettuce! Tomato dish which is a vegan take on the BLT except it’s packed with portobello mushrooms. It was delicious!Make sure you try their fries and get extra aioli sauce on the side. You can also get the mango kamboucha drink without the alcohol if you’re craving a non-alcoholic beverage that’s not a soda or tea. Enjoy mostly plants.
Only has a dozen or so tables and around 4-5 waitstaff, so only 3-4 tables per. However, service was very impersonal and unnattentive.Food tasted fine. Short rib Benedict had very small portion of meat ( prob 1tbsp no joke) hidden under each egg and poached egg yolk was hard on one of them.Best thing was the Take Me to Church bourbon drink. Seems this place only excels at the drinks.Took 35-40 mins to get entrees and waited even longer to wrangle our server for a box and check. Party of 4 took from 130-300pm to eat. And we came at the end of brunch with tables open.Cherry on top was a group vaping like they owned the place. At least they were a couple tables down from us.
I honestly felt that this place was just OKAY. Nothing really stood out to me. The service was good though. She kept checking on us and we definitely never ran out of our beverages. We ordered the tomato and burrata appetizer which was essentially heirloom tomatoes and burrata stacked on top of each other in a roasted pepper coulis and topped with basil and balsamic. Don’t get me wrong the roasted pepper stuff was delish. The dish was pretty delish as well but you hardly get any burrata. Any time I’ve ordered burrata we’re given a huge big ball of it. With this you get like two little slices. Definitely not worth the money. If they can add more burrata then possible. I ordered the Nashville vegan chicken Sammy and it was pretty good. The vegan chicken was delicious. But it was missing some sort of spice element or even a sauce. It’s feel like they also didn’t give it on the correct bread which might’ve made a big difference. They gave it to me on basically seeded sandwich bread. This definitely didn’t quite taste right with the chicken. After two bites I just took the chicken out and ate it by itself. My husband ordered the regular real chicken Sammy and said it was just okay too. He said it also needed some sort of sauce or spice. It just has no real flavor. And the fries were soggy and just not good. My husband got the truffle fries and he said they tasted nothing like truffle. So idk all in all I unfortunately wouldn’t come here again. I feel like you could just go to yard house for the type of meal we had.
I used to love this place. Under the old owners, I used to go out of my way to come here. Ive been avoiding coming here since they were sold, but I finally came by, and its a shadow of what it once was. The food and cocktails were both lacking. They werent terrible, just not at all interesting like they used to be. Im saddened that there is no reason to come back

DISCLAIMER: “The Ruben” is a must, but you should probably spilt it with someone else. This sandwich will humble even the savviest Ruben fan. Oh, don’t forget to wash it down with some Pizza Port brew.
The food here is delicious. The atmosphere is perfect. The open space gives a wonderful sense of fresh air. My only complaints would be every time Ive came here when theres only one other couple the service was not good. If you dont sit at the bar, the server wouldnt come to us. we would have to constantly get up to ask for drinks, napkins, and to order our food since the server would rarely come to the table. Ive never come on a super busy day for this reason. Several times Ive gone, it took forever to get waters let alone mix drinks. We would not be greeted walking in, just no sense of that welcome feeling until we walked over to the bar and initiated the hello. When it comes to service on a busy day, I would completely understand, but during a non rush hour, I dont see why there wouldnt be more time for better service. Ive brought a few friends here on different occasions, and theyve noticed the same service. I only write this review in hopes it improves because this place is lovely, and I would like to come back and have a better experience.
Cute place in old town. The food was delicious and servers attentive. Kinda neat you can order from your phone and itll be brought to your table. We got Buenaveza salt and lime brew which was good but the coke was a bit watered down. I had the millennial toast which was good and enough food for lunch.
Solid well deserved 5 star. Service is spot on. Food is to die for...from their Mac & Cheese to the infamous Kobe burger. Hell even the salads are great. Great selection of beer on tap, with a solid effort to keep it local by supporting local Breweries and Wineries. Do yourself a favor and sit on the back patio, even if you have to wait. Well worth it!
The pork belly bacon is unreal. I would recommend the cinnamon toast crunch toast over the berry french toast. The burrito was pretty good too, the sauce is not spicy which is what I was expecting. Good service as well, we had multiple servers helping us out. Interesting ordering system with ordering through the QR code using “Toast” but all the food came out pretty quick. Some coffee’s didn’t come out cause it was confusing who was suppose to be ordering. But still a great experience.

Even though our waitress forgot to put our order in, she was really nice, the atmosphere is good and the food is really good. Im a vegetarian...there was plenty for me to choose from which I appreciate since the eateries in the wine country area lack adequate vegetarian/vegan food. A Portobello mushroom or a plain salad just isnt everybodies choice for a meal out. Kudos to Public House for their menu choices.
What a horrible experience. Went here for brunch to celebrate a birthday and an engagement. We were sat on the front porch. There was a large event happening in back… cool no problem. We sat for 15 minutes before a waiter even approached the table. After drinks were ordered it took another 15 minutes to get DRINKS! There was 9 of us. We ordered our food and AN HOUR LATER we were served. We had to a get up and ask where our food was twice. Once our food was served it was one plate at a time. One plate, 10 minutes later another plate, 5 minutes later another plate etc etc etc 3 of us didn’t even eat our food it was such garbage and the other people’s food was cold. We were literally leaving as the last drink was served and it was 20 minutes prior. Don’t worry though the owner was very concerned about making the music play out front while people just sat for that duration of time unhappy and did nothing. This place used to be amazing and it has gone to trash.
Just wanted to go see the band Indica Roots play didnt really care about getting anything to eat or drink just wanted to watch the band play maybe get a cocktail they gave us reservations like we were dining took an hour and a half and missed half the show when there was clearly open tables and bar seating for two people to watch the band upset no disappointed yes Ill know better next time

I recently checked out this restaurant with my family on their recommendation.We went on a Saturday morning and they were serving brunch and lunch. It wasn’t too busy but the menus were definitely intriguing.All in all the service was exceptional food was great and the environment is fun. This restaurant really has a great place here in town and should be a place you check out if you’re looking for great food that’s a little bit different from the normal every day stuff you would find elsewhere.
Public House is under new ownership, but is still hands-down one of my favorite places to go in Old Town Temecula. The drinks are refreshing, atmosphere is fun, music is up-to-date, and the service is by far the best yet. We will be back! Im really excited to see what the new owners will be changing for the back patio layout!!
The jalapeno Caesar salad was bland I added chicken for an extra 6. And it was chewy thawed out Tyson chicken. The service was below mediocre....
Got bottomless mimosas and an eggs Benedict. The poached eggs were thoroughly cooked with no runny yolk in sight. They offered to add avocado since I replaced the meat with tomato slices. Serving sizes varied depending on the dish - looking around, the burgers were huge, omelets were mid sized, benedicts were small. Menu was very limited, wouldnt recommend coming if you have any vegetarians in your party. Our waitress was great about refilling our mimosas before the drag show started but, understandably, was unable to keep up that pace. The show was not good. The performers seem to favor certain people/tables regardless of how much youre tipping them. The queens themselves didnt have much diversity - which was a little shocking since it was announced 2 of them drove out from Vegas.Fun place to get drunk off bottomless mimosas for $25 but dont expect high quality food or entertainment. The atmosphere was otherwise very nice.If Public House can vastly improve their menu and speak with their performers about how they can improve their guest experience. Its a great gimmick that will continue to bring in a large crowd of paying people, but it can vastly be improved
OMG this place just gets better every time we come! Hubby had an amazing chicken sandwich and he loved it. I had the tuna salad and it was so spicy! Thank you Tyler for the wonderful service and the extra dressing and bread to combat my overheated mouth!! He was so amazing and helped us enjoy another wonderful meal at this restaurant I totally recommend and get the tuna salad -just be aware that it’s spicy!

I would have given the atmosphere a 2 but it seemed like it was their own friends who were hyping up who could come in and out. Inside was nothing special, a lot of open tables but the GM made it seem like it was packed which it wasnt. 1 hr later it still was not, so just make your own educated decision.
Omg this place is GREAT , THE FOOD,AMAZING TRANSITION of music live band played 80s into 90s slowly leading into DJ she played some GOOD stuff. House, techno really enjoyed it and will definitely be going back. Excellent place for a first date.
All outdoor seating was a bit odd but luckily it was a nice evening. Bar service was on par and prompt. The beef short rib came out with an extremely salty flavor. Other items were pretty decent. Would visit again.
Always great food and quick service. They don’t take reservations, so just be prepared to wait a little on the weekends! I love the ban mi salad with the chicken. It is delicious and fresh! The last time I was there I had the bottomless mimosas thinking they would come around once or twice. WOW to my surprise every time I took a sip, our waitress was right there to fill our glasses back up. Wonderful service!
I ordered a Chicken Pita Wrap. The server was super friendly and she told me the wrap was going have olives so I let her know I wanted no humus and no olives. My friend and I got seated after 20 minutes considering we didnt have reservations ahead of time. It made me happy to know we were able get on the list. I enjoyed the outdoor vibe. I would have wanted them to bring us Ketchup when they brought the plates. The server offered the Ketchup a bit towards the end so I did get to eat some of my fries with Ketchup. Another server checked in with us too once we had our drinks, which is like a cool way to know the servers work as a team. I will definitely be returning to try other plates.
Public House was such a pleasant dining experience. They have a fun cocktail selection and really great beer options. The Goat Toast is something I will dream of until we go back. Staff is super knowledgeable about what they offer for private party reservations, and the live music was great. We will definitely be back.
Second time visiting Public House and the food has been great both times. This second time we had a big group and service was slow, but it was after the drag show, and they also had a shift change with some delays. Our server, Taylor, was really friendly and provided excellent service despite all the issues! Really appreciate his hard work and hope to get him as our server next time we visit.
Came with high expectations. Made a reservation a week in advance. Had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Ordered drinks which took another 30 minutes to come out (50 minutes from arriving). Food came 20 minutes after that (1 hour and 10 after arriving). Food was mediocre. Pesto chicken and Mac & Cheese not recommended. Short rib was good, not great. Staff did not check in often. Cold, not enough heat lamps. Overall do not recommend. Most disappointing restaurant experience so far this year.

The food was good. However my disappointment was I ordered a burger lettuce wrap medium rare and came out well done. I requested a new one however all my fries and lettuce was gone and left with a burger patty.I would had appreciate a new set up.Waitress was friendly but possibly not knowledgeable.
So public house has been my favorite spot to eat for years, but it isn’t quite the same now. It’s not bad by any means, but just not as good. They used to make the most delicious homemade bread and the portions seem a tad smaller. And they have taken some of the best dishes off the menu. I just hope they focus on the food as much as the atmosphere and entertainment. Because the atmosphere and entertainment is wonderful! Still love the place and the patio, so I’ll definitely return. Just hope it still remains a good foodie place to go:)

This place is off the hook delicious! You gotta try everything on the menu, especially the garlic fries! The bartenders know how to make a drink, and its definitely a drink worth drinking! Usually a wait to get in so I highly recommend reservations or putting your name on the list and taking a stroll around Old Town until a table is ready. You wont be disappointed.
Under new ownership and the done great things with the place compared to what it was before. Its great spot to relax on a Sunday and enjoy some delicious food. Very often have a DJ that plays more upbeat house music.
My friends and I have been here a few times on the weekends and every time we come we have a great experience from start to finish. But this last Friday we came and it started off rocky. It was around 430 we came and waited at the host stand for a while no one was there. The place seemed empty so we didn’t think getting a seat was going to be hard. The host finally came and she had a very angry look on her face and when she greeted us she came off annoyed that we didn’t have a reservation. She then walked us to our table and it was probably the worst table i have ever sat at. It was in the way back of their restaurant. We passed by so many empty tables so when i asked if we can move to another table all I received was a “ no” . We took the table anyways because we were hungry. Our host didn’t give us menus and when our server came to try to take our order she realized we didn’t have anything and she apologized and grabbed them for us. We then asked if we were able to move to a different table since we were cold and there wasn’t a heater next to us. The server told us it shouldn’t be a problem but she was going to check with her manager to make sure these tables weren’t for a reservation. Quickly after the server and her manager came to our table and told us that we could move tables! And helped us move! Things started looking up from there, food was great and we didn’t expect live music but stayed for it! I give this place 4 stars for food and service but I do give it 2 stars for the way it started.
It was my birthday and I wanted to go somewhere special that had amazing service and great food for my guests so I chose public house because I heard great things about the new owner who just purchased it and is putting more passion into the business. I got there and we were greeted with smiles and great energy from Chad and Anthony, the two owners. I then wanted a hamburger but I didnt know what to get.. The kitchen manager came out, Chad, and recommended what burger he liked the most and that I couldnt go wrong. After I ate it..I felt like I died and went to heaven. Food was amazing. My family had a great time and I cant recommend this place enough.
I brought the family here for dinner on a recent weeknight. This was our first time at Public House. It was recommended to us by an acquaintance. We were seated on the patio. The atmosphere was nice, although a bit trendy for a family dinner - deep/progressive house playing throughout our time there. The table wobbled. The waitress was competent, but a bit too chatty and familiar with us for my taste (in my opinion, the best servers are quiet and attentive - there when you need them, unnoticed when you dont). I tried the Sweet Heat Burger ($20), trusting that there must be *something special* to the unique combination of ingredients (melted herb goat cheese and sweet and spicy jalapeno jelly) if it was on the menu. But it was so strange tasting that I could not eat more than a few bites of it. It was honestly the worst burger Ive ever had! But live and learn. Others had the Ruben ($22 - rated OK, but nothing special by my mom), the Pesto Linguine with Chicken ($19 on the menu, but with a *SHOCKING*/*INFURIATING* $11 UPCHARGE (!!!) for the chicken, which was just a few ounces of roasted chicken set on the plate beside the linguine, rated good, but not great by my wife), and the Kids Mac & Cheese ($8, my daughter did not like it). My mom said she liked the Vanilla Margarita ($12.50). But overall, especially for these prices, dinner at Public House was really nothing special. It might be a nice place to come for drinks with friends, but the food was not nearly as good as it should have been. There are plenty of other, better, less expensive places to eat in the area. I will not return unless the owner invites us to give it another try free of charge.
We were in town visiting for Thanksgiving and my daughters birthday. It was packed due to the holiday. Over all service was good and friendly, drinks and beer were also good. Live entertainment the night we were there (a Friday night) was also really good. Food was great! Make a reservation or call ahead.
If you aren’t attending Drag Show Brunch, don’t bother going late morning/midday Saturday. We had reservations and still waited over an hour to get our food. The server even admitted it was because of the Drag Show Brunch and is typical for them.
After over a decade of patronage and many great memories made at this establishment, our visit yesterday may sadly be the last time we visit public house. The food continues to be exceptionally good, but the service was consistently and jarringly off the mark. From the 20+ minute wait for seating at a mostly empty restaurant (approached by several hosts and hostesses who did not seem to know who we were or that we were on the wait list) to the abrupt and unexpected cutting off of our quiet and polite group of professionals catching up while sipping cocktails (a first time experience for anyone in our group at any bar), it was a pleasant evening interrupted by rather than facilitated by the restaurant. The wait staff were polite and helpful for the majority of the evening, but the lack of organization and clearly miscalculated judgement to forcefully conclude our visit are a stark and disappointing contrast to our many pleasant past experiences here.

Prior to this review I rated this place with four stars. I removed one star because last nights service experience here was disappointing. Our server entered the wrong meal which lead to the wrong plate delivered. Had to wait additional time for the correct plate. A drink I ordered never made it to our table, but showed on our bill. The server kindly removed the drink from our bill after it was brought to her attention. I understand restaurants are understaffed and I expect to have longer waits, but the issue here was different. Our server had time to have friendly conversations at other tables so the place wasnt busy.The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Seating is outside in a shaded area in the back of the restaurant away from the street which eliminated street noise. Most misters at restaurants get sounding surfaces wet. The perfectly adjusted misters here did not get us wet, but kept us cool.I look forward to going back to the Public House for their food which has always been great. I hope to add a star back after my next visit.
Best service I’ve had in years! Brooke was an incredible bartender, her and the servers went above and beyond to curate the best experience. Food and drinks were top notch. All outdoor patio had heating available, great atmosphere. Overall 10/10 recommend, go here!
The food is overly priced fast food! I had a chicken sandwich... Dry chicken, meager sauce, old fries!The old fashion, also disappointing.The place looks unkept. Its underwhelming and overpriced.
Great food every time Ive been here over the years-- literally everything Ive had has been delicious. Good social distancing/covid protocols but without making it crazy, I felt both safe and comfortable eating there.And I feel like the staff there is always really cool? Like theyre always super kind & helpful, but also way cooler than me. 😅 I love it.
Was here at 10pm last night and the place was driving everyone at our table mad. Service was sub par, food was average, and the DJ thought blasting music at an unbearable level was enjoyable. We were literally yelling at each other across the table. Asked the waitress if the DJ could turn the music down slightly and she never went to the booth. I understand we were there late but who comes out for food and drinks with no intention of being able to socialize?
Friendly, trendy, exuberant service tries to mask overpriced and mediocre chef in the kitchen. We had to have half our tables meals taken back to try again in the kitchen. With all the nice eateries and competition in Old Town, its hard to believe they began their newly owned establishment with such a poor chef. Every meat item on menu had short rib meat in the recipé as if they had gotten some special that week short ribs. Menu does not have much variety. Maybe the entertainment is better than food selection, not sure as there was none when we visited but the overhead music selection for a morning brunch was pretty annoying like we were at a rave instead of in Old Town Temecula. Overall disappointing experience, particularly for prices charged for such mediocrity.
The food here was really good. Some of the service was actually very horrible. One of the waitresses walked by the bar and flipped off the bartender. I was kind of shocked. It took a long time to see this and then they screwed up our food. Thankfully the food was really really good. The new waiter that we were finally assigned was great too I dont remember his name but he made up for the poor service prior. Again the food was really good. Ill give them one more try.
Wow I love the path this place is going!It’s been recently taken over by new owners that do Drag Brunch every month (I believe I’m not positive). I was invited to go and I’m soooo happy I was able to experience this!I’m not gonna lie this place is not for the cheap but IT SERVES. It’s worth every penny and the drag experience was the cherry on top.I’ll definitely be back and proudly support this business :)
So we were walking on front street and noticed the public house was the only location with no line and immediate seating; well we found out why!!! From the onset, our server, who made it very clear we could order for ourselves off our phone, gave the impression that we were putting her out by ordering through her. Then as our first round of drinks and appetizer arrived, another employee decided to close the adjustable roof directly over our table. Well surprise, surprise, a months worth of dirt and leaves were dumped directly onto us, our food and our drinks. But wait, it gets better! No attempt was made to help us clean, buy our drinks or food, instead we had to ask for additional towels to bus and clean our own table. We were however asked if we “Needed” another round. No guys it’s okay we will just pick the dirt and leaves out of these drinks!! Are you kidding me! No manager, nothing to make it right, just a towel over our new drinks and a ,”watch out I’m gonna close this again!” After ordering our own food on our phone, and a mandatory 18% tip and full payment, our dinner arrived. We could not wait to leave and will never come back. Take note whoever owns this location! You will be closing your doors soon so 1909 or Be Good can expand and take your location because I’ve had better service at McDonald’s! Avoid at all costs!
Best brussel sprouts Ive ever had but the sweet heat burger was disappointing. Too much goat cheese. Was supposed to be medium but was closer to well done ,also no heat.
Made reservations here for my boyfriend and I, only to be told less than an hour before our reservation that they really couldn’t accommodate us since a bigger party reserved a table at the same time (8:45p). Still thinking we’d give it a chance, we arrived for our reservation and were told the kitchen and bar were both closed. Unsure why we were told after the fact, when the restaurant made it a point to call me and say everything else beside the fact that we wouldn’t be able to order food or drinks. All around poor customer service. Restaurant should consider changing reservation times on OpenTable if an 8:45pm reservation time is that hard to accommodate.
Great place for Sunday brunch with a group. We had 8 adults and 3 kids. @ 10:30 we were able to get a table within 10 minutes of arriving. The patio area has lots of heaters so we never had a issue with anyone having a chill at the table. The bar was quick to bring the drinks. Was had a few picky eaters and the staff were great working with them to find a food option that would work for them.
From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by the staff and made feel welcome. The drinks were amazing (especially the public defender) and the food was very good as well. At the current time, they are using an app (toasttab) to order food and pay. We had some issues with it at the end/paying and one of the staff members was more than happy to help us settle out. We will definitely be back!
Superb dining. Cozy little spot with awesome food. Definitely worth the prices. I paid about 15 dollars for a brilliant salad with extra grilled chicken. And it was orgasmic. They have a great beer selection and werent short of anything. Service was great and timely. They had other drink options but who cares about those, cuz beer is life. The only weird thing about eating inside is that the staff works near you. Kinda weird watching them right next to you folding napkins and stuff.
The food is amazing! We went on a Thursday night and there was a DJ playing music, the vibe was fun but not loud, we were able to have a conversation easily. Service was excellent and the food had an abundance of flavor. We plan to be back soon!

20 beers on tap, signature cocktails, and a great menu. The menu is short and sweet, with good portion sizes. Pricing is right for the quality of food($16.00 sandwich). Our server, Andrew, was very personable, friendly, and prompt. Would recommend for a good meal and drinks. Oh, both indoor and outdoor seating.
We came here for brunch because popular locations right next door were 1-1.5 hour waits and we were hungry. They were able to sit our party of four right away. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was great. Definitely try the pumpkin French toast. Corn beef and hash and the burrito were also really tasty. The pictures make the servings look small but they are a decent size...but not huge. So why the three stars?! You have to order from your phone, not a problem but if you need assistance you will need to get a waiters attention. So don’t sit there too long. Once we did order it took almost 45 mins to get our food. That’s a little longer than necessary...20-30mins max. Another thing...when you order you pay and leave a tip up front. My tips are based on service and food quality. I’m not ordering take out. It seemed a little thoughtless that I would pay and leave a tip before any service has been provided. I will definitely give this place another shot.
This has been one of my favorite Old Town restaurants since I moved here in 2014. It had been awhile since I visited, and last night we ventured out. They have a great beer selection, and their craft drinks are awesome. Their wait was only 45 minutes where other places it was 90 minutes plus.That said I dont know what was up with the food. Calling that sandwich a Rueben should be criminal. We ordered the kids mac n cheese for our 3 year old. She wouldnt eat it so we tried it. We couldnt eat it. They should definitely reformat and bring in some kid taste testers. They change their menu up so Ill give it another chance in a month or two and adjust accordingly.
Really tasty! Good service, good food, good atmosphere. I love that they feature a tea from the local spice and tea shoppe (EVERY time I have the tea we end up making a trip to the spice and tea shoppe to pick up a bag of it). They also have a great selection of craft beers thats sure to please the beer fanatic in your group. Public House is definitely worth the stop!
Though the server was very polite, service was slow. The place was dirty and extremally hot with a water cooler in the corner for a 1100 sq ft patio eating area. No inside eating that I had notice.I had ordered a Tanqueray and tonic only to get some watered down awful drink. I walked up to the bar and request a new drink, the tender then informed me they did not stock Tanqueray, so I requested a Mojito which turned out just as watered down and poorly made. They defiantly need a Bartender. The food, a Ruben sandwich was equally bad. Way too much to complain about.
Ive been here before, and Ive enjoyed my visits. This was my first event here. Although there was a major issue with my check, where they overcharged me significantly. It was handled, but I cant say this didnt really affect my overall experience.
Arrived early for happy hour. The keg kicked during the pour of my Happy Hops so I got a small first taste of this awesome beer for free. The Booming Rollers second full pour was my first Modern Times experience and excellent. The mac n cheese appetizer was ok and the goat cheese/dill fries were a little dry which we corrected with a little lemon juice. Service was good and the atmosphere comfortable.
We stopped in for the first time on a Saturday night in Jan. 2020 around 7PM for dinner, and got seated at a high top right near the stage. The hostess was super nice and when our server finally came over, he actually had notes with our names and that it was our first time there.The drink menu is amazing – we had the buttery brown old fashioned and a pear tree, both of which were outstanding. For our meal, we ordered the Cory Lime Chicken and the Short Ribs. The chicken was just ok, nice presentation but very small portion for the money. The ribs were better. Service was super slow and our waiter was sullen and humorless. Try as we might, we weren’t able to coax even a tiny smile or draw any personality out of him! Our high top was overlooking the bar area where the bartenders looked like they were having a great time, smiling and interacting with the people sitting there…we were wishing we were over there!The place started to get really crowded as the band started their set at 9. Music was good, although we were so close to the stage that it was way too loud for us to stay beyond 2 songs! We were surprised to see a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle over at the bar and as we were paying the check, we asked our server to inquire on year/pricing. Alas, as he had already closed us out, he never returned with that info! He might have made a nice sale there...I had high hopes for this place based on reviews and initial impressions of the great ambiance. Strong positives–super drinks, great vibe and ambiance, decent albeit pricy food. If we had had a better experience server-wise, this might have been a 5-star! I know the server’s name but don’t want to call him out, as I’m hoping he was just having a bad day.We’ll certainly be back to try their brunch, happy hour and dinner again. I’m also anxious to try out their location in Murrieta.
The food here is perfect every time. I have been here multiple times and have never had bad service or food. The scene is like you are at a friends house eating really good food. The menu is seasonal so its always changing to whatever is fresh. The drink menu is the same whether you want a mixed drink made with seasonal berries or a beer from a local brewery. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for something that is going to be a slam dunk. GET THE KOBE BURGER!
The only reason its a 2 star is that we had a party of 12 and I cant speak about wait times with a party of 12 on a Sunday.. That doesnt take anything away from what went however.4 place sets had old food on the utensils. 3 drink cups had food or film in them. Most of the food was cold when it came out. Half out party didnt eat the food. French fries and bloody Marys met expectations but that is a pretty low bar to hit.
Had a good experience this visit, and really, every visit is always a good time. They always have great beers on tap, delicious food, often a very entertaining band, and always great service. This is a place you can come to get your night started before heading out to other places, or just stay the entire time here at Public House and have a fun time. Great for lunch and dinner.
We were here for brunch (we had to wait for at least 30 minutes, as we even got the chance to go to other nearby places while waiting), and I recall seating next to a table full of customers who just kept talking aloud. I soon didnt really enjoy my brunch, but I made sure I ate what I ordered. I think its best to keep in mind not to get seated next to a table with a big group---they will not bother to keep quiet for you. I can do worst, if I am in their shoes. But I do recall the service was good and friendly.
What a neat place to have a drink with friends and/or business associates. The burgers are huge. Other pub grub options looked appetizing as well. Nice drink selection. Lots of beers. Will return but will not choose table close to the music.
Really great atmosphere and fresh, local, sustainable, pasture-raised food. Love the backyard house-feel, the ambiance of the water fountains during the day, and fire pits and fairy lights at night. Had the Cheech chicken, which was great, and the dill, garlic, & goat cheese fries were amazing. They also make a killer roasted house-made Bloody Mary. Great service too. Will definitely come back!
My fiance and I came across this place on accident after the first restaurant we looked at wasnt appealing. Im so glad we came here instead! Great food. (As in every bite was delicious.) Great service. Great patio area. A little pricey, but worth every penny for the quality you receive.

Had a reservation for 8:30pm. When we arrived there at 7:45pm they said they were closing … I don’t understand why they would even have reservations open. .Anyways, they were able to sit us after all. We waited and no one took our order for about 15 minutes. . .Service I can say was awful!W left and went to 1909 since the beginning their customer service was amazing!Never coming to this place again!

We tried to like it...we really did. Ambiance was nice. Service was fabulous. I wouldn’t recommend eating inside though if you want any kind of privacy - tables are on top of each other - seating way too close to other parties. Food very subpar, and expensive. We got the salmon plate which was too spicy and hard - not tender so we boxed it up and intended to take it home,But realized - we are not going to eat this - why are we taking it - so we left it. Then ordered the burger because we couldn’t eat the Salmon - still not very good and we were told the burger is the most amazing thing on their menu. There was just too much going on with it...and the bun was dry and chalky - also way too salty - keep it simple.) hubby got a steak and the meat was nervy and tough. Was not a good experience for us. However it is very beautiful and the service was really great. For the price, it was a huge let down for us.
The food was great. We shared the brisket and it was still more than enough food. The service was not overly attentive. We did enjoy sitting on the outside deck and watching Friday night in Old Town. Sadly, they dont take Amex.
Let me start off and say the food was good. And would give them 4 or 5 stars but... they want you to order from your phone using those QR codes and app was slow. So there is minimal interaction between customers and servers. Then when its time to pay, you pay on your phone or they will bring the check. Then what boiled my blood was when paying by phone it defaults to a 20% tip. Why in the hell would I pay 20% for minimal service.
We were in the mood for a couple of craft beers and were looking for a nice place to stop on the strip. A Google search helped us find The Public House. Upon walking up to The Public House ,it looks like a upscale, yet somewhat casual joint. We were dressed very casual and sort of felt a bit underdressed, but sat at the bar and were immediately greeted and treated excellent. There are several crafts on tap here, I would say 20-25. Some of the beers were more common, but there were several local/regional choices that I hadnt had before, being from the midwest. There were also several additional craft beer choices off tap. During our visit, we were offered several samples including one that was just tapped. The staff seemed very joyful and friendly, above expectations really. On our way out we elected to take a drink to go. They didnt have the beer I ordered, but he came back with a couple of other options that he thought I would like instead. So I opted for one of those. When he was closing our tab, he realized the bottle he recommended and I was now drinking on was a $25 dollar bottle. He obviously felt horrible about recommending such a pricey bottle and went above and beyond to make it right, so awesome. Well be back if we are in the area again. Great service here. While the prices can be inflated at these types of places excellent service really makes all the difference.
After going to the Bank and getting bad service we ended up going to Public. We had the best service...hostess was awesome and server knew so much about the food and drinks. That is what is needed in an A+ restaurant. We got the food and drinks very quickly. Would definitely recommend this place. Tyler our server was awesome.

We went for happy hour and the drinks are fantastic!!The shareables are so tasty!! Specifically the tomato addiction 😍Definitely coming back to try out more of their menu.
This was a unique place with great selection of rich food. Not traditional. Great portions. Menu changes every six months. You never go away hungry. Atmosphere was friendly with a fire in the back patio. I had the red sangria, and tuna steak with black noodles (dos noche, I think). Amazing. Ceviche was incredible. The pricing is expensive but its relative to their amazing food. I will be coming back.
One of the best burgers Ive ever tasted! The mac n cheese was pretty legit, very rich, creamy and delicious!! The cocktails, grandma out in public and stud of winterfall were very well made! Fries are freshly cut from potatoes and not frozen. Great place to be with great food!
Food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. I normally come for brunch over the weekend and enjoy the live music, burgers, tomato appetizer, and mimosas. The vegan Mac n cheese was also good.
Nice environment, decent service, but inconsistent food. Reuben sandwich was poorly made (which the server agreed), and was remade nicely. Mac and cheese was great the first time, then overtly spiced the next. Public Curry, waiter asked if we would like to upgrade with chicken, then not added. Was a poor dish regardless of the chicken.
Now days you appreciate great food and excellent service! Taylor took great care of us. The tomato addiction was incredible and the Kobe burgers were perfect at medium well!
Had to take it down a star for the ordering experience. They are using Toast ordering system for customers to order their own food after they are seated. Not a fan. When youre paying $18 for a burger and $8 for a kids mac and cheese... you kind of expect the full experience. The website is not good for full service dining. Any time you want to add anything you have to pay. If you dont want to make an account you have to punch in your card each time. You are also asked for tip at ordering... if you dont have cash, how are you supposed to tip according to service? Heaters were out of propane (was informed their order didnt come in on time).Drinks were good, food was good, the service we did get was great. Fix the ordering issue and its a 5 star.
The reservation/no reservations/wait list is a bit sketchy..once the Manager Stephen took care of us, all went terrific. Tyler our server was first rate and the rest of the wait staff are equally as excellent. Food was as usual wonderful. One of my favorite places to dine!

The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is delicious, and you can get a birthday shot or dessert if its your special day! The atmosphere there is always relaxing and fun.

Last Saturday my husband and I went on a date and decided to try something new. Went on Goggle to check out recomendations, we came across Public House and decided to give it a try. The second we walked up we knew we made the right decision. The food was delicious and the service was even better. Our server Aden was very attentive and excited to make sure we had the best dining experience!
Terrible first time experience. After being put on a waiting list for about 30 mins we were seated at the counter when I specifically asked for a table. When Inquiring about this they said it would be another 30 min wait. We decided just to deal with it and order. Everything needed to be ordered on line via their website. When we attempted to order something but wanted to make a minor change we were not able to do that on the online and no one approached us. We decided to leave after waiting for another 15 mins of just sitting there. When you’re planning on spending over $150.00 between your drinks. Appetizers and main course you expect better service than this. I would not recommend this place.
Pretty decent spot. Loved stopping here on the way through Temecula. Love how they have locally sourced food and all of it tasted really good. Their burger is bomb and totally worth getting. Good fries and a semi outdoor setting which is cool. I would definitely be back to this spot again!
The outdoor dining is great, the ambiance is cool. Everything was plated nicely. The Avocado toast was bland. The toast was too hard, I couldnt bite it, and I couldnt cut it with a knife either. So I ate the Avocado. The Avocado needed a bit of salt or something. Disappointed.
One of the most vulgar, low class experiences my family and I have ever been through…customers beware…owner would rather focus on mouthing off with vile replies rather than focus on cold food, slow service, among other unprofessional behaviors…absolute American shame!!! Will never return! Message to owner: Put energy into making a better experience for customers…don’t waste time stalking valid public reviews…there is an opportunity for you to do better! Learn!
(Pre-COVID) Two of my friends and I had a mommies night out here yesterday. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing, and the food was delish. I had the NY strip and a bottle of frisk Riesling wine! I will definitely come back, so I can try the local half chicken. The only drawback is you can’t make a same day reservation and you can’t call ahead to put your name down on the waitlist, but I will say the experience was definitely definitely worth the 45 min wait.Went back on 3/27/21 for brunch. This place lost a star since my previous visit. It may be the restaurant is I’ll equipped to handle life after COVID but, I arrived exactly at 10:30 am so there was no wait but there were issues with access the brunch menu via their electronic online menu you scan from the barcode off the table. Not only that when the online menu was made available you couldn’t order certain items. Once the waitress who was polite and attentive took our order manually, another server came with a printed menu that had completely different items we would have preferred to have ordered. Anywho once the food did arrive it made up for the menu issue. I ordered the breakfast burrito which was delicious. I am def. willing to come here again but maybe not for brunch, this place remains a good spot for dinner and possibly lunch in my opinion.
Fantastic service, beautiful atmosphere. They make a solid Old Fashioned and the vegan Mac and Cheese is pretty darn good! I especially love the misters going during the day. Very refreshing in the Temecula heat. 💜 Good COVID precautions too, felt very safe.
The food here is absoulty mouth watering delicious. I took a bite of there Backyard Burger the patty was fresh and huge and tasty. I ordered the Falafel Pita- it was so good I definitely will be coming back to order the same thing although I know I should explore other food options. The drinks were good and the price was decent. We sat outside and the ambiance was relaxing. Our server was Cameron and he was beyond exceptional with service and hospitality. Btw the caramelized onions that came with the hamburger- to die for and Im not an onion fan!
The food was amazing! So was our server, though i cant remember his name! I had the vegan chicken sammy and it was incredible! The spicy edamame app was amazing as well! The food and service here are phenomenal, and i will definitely be back! I know my friend is jealous and wishing they had a public house up north where they live!!! Im sooo going back and soon!
The beignets were awesome, with the lemon curd dip. Just perfect. This despite the noise we had to endure coming from another table. Shaking my head. Cant believe the noise. It might be worth waiting for outside seating, especially on a weekend. I also like to add Tylers service was excellent.
This place is simply great. I came into town on a business trip and wandered into the Public House. The food is great (I could get nit picky, but for the purposes of a good night out, the food is outstanding). Dan was my local bartender here, and I could not have asked more from him. I was in the industry for 15 years, and he hit the mark on everything, believe me. He Took me through the menu, the drinks. Told me what is what, and made solid personal recommendations . I highly recommend this place....it will be my go to when Im in Temecula!

All I can say is WOW..we stopped her on the way home form San Diego for dinner on 4/8/18..what we did not expect was the porn show and DRUNKS. The young lady that we had as our server was fantastic and it went down hill from there. It took over 45 minutes to get a burger and a reuben which seemed a long time. As we waited the table right next to us was full of drunks that were VERY loud and drunk. So drunk one lady was proud to scream out she just pissed her pants..one lady could not even get up on her stool without help that is when she was not making out with ALL the men and one woman at her table. They kept ordering drinks and shots and were served...which shows the lack of caring from the bartender for the other customers trying to eat and ignore this orgy. Also the lack of care for the safety of the people out on the street where these idiots will go drive. The faces of the other customers there told how they felt as well....NOT HAPPY. I think maybe a few of the ladies were either regulars or worked there because the bartender seemed to know them and even hugged them. For this place to allow their bartender to allow them to continue to serve drinks to people that are falling down drunk to me is stupid and setting them up for many law suites in the future. Also it will cost you customers that do not want to see LOUD DRUNKS at dinner pissing their pants, almost screwing at the table ..when you have kids...do not think I would ever visit again and I am real sure I would tell any person that asked about what we saw and heard. Sad to say when I asked our server about it she said that this seems to happen a lot on weekends now.....the only reason I gave two stars is because our server was so nice and sweet
They definitely have some of the best Brussel sprouts in Temecula. We ordered the ahi stack and was soooo scrimpy on the ahi, like 10 very small pieces. Definitely not worth the $20. Alexis was our server and she was great. Music was good but way way too loud. We had to yell across the table
So my wife and I used to love this place, however our last visit was our last. First, we were prompted to order by phone even though we were dining in. Second, we had to pay forward before we were served anything. Then we were somewhat insulted by our waitress for having older cell phones, which translated to me that we are old. Now I like technology, but what if I was not that tech savvy? I get what Public House is trying to do...they want to cater to the 21-40ish demographic. So we feel out of place at 60. Maybe we are, but who pays for their service, plus tip up front??? People at gas stations!
Ordered takeout from public house last weekend and i was so impressed by the quality of food! the kobe burger is melt in your mouth to die for and the drinks are STRONG and yummy. highly recommend and super quick service as well. thank you!
We went to old town to try some where new and decided on public house! The atmosphere was great along with the decor!The service was great, but we are not big on thai food so we were limited! We honestly went here for the corn beef sandwich, which we got and it was AMAZING! We also got the wugyu burger which was also AMAZING! We definitely will be back
A wonderful atmosphere. Great service from our waiter. My husband & I stopped for lunch & shared a kobe burger that was delicious. Fries with it were good too. Lots of unique items on the menu to choose from
We havent been going out to eat much due to COVID, but we decided to go see how safe it seemed. We were pleasently surprised to see how seriously they are following the recommendations. Touchless ordering (no menus) and touchless payment made it even better. Only difficulty is that you have to pay the tip at the beginning of the meal and hope for the best. Luckily, the service was great. Also, all employees were wearing masks.The food made us grateful that we had made the trip. Burger cooked perfectly, which isnt something I can always find as I like them medium to medium rare. Goat cheese toast is to die for. Will definitely go back. Thanks.
Phenomenal! I have been here many times for drinks but just ate dinner here for the first time and was blown away. I ordered the Pot Pie and it was incredible, desert was amazing as well and our waiter delivered everything to us by first name. Great food and service!
Boy, did we need this place in Temecula. Wonderful atmosphere. ALWAYS great service (and we have been here probably 10 times). The food is amazing...creative, delicious and fresh. Great selection of wine (for me) and beer (for my husband). Why people ever go to The Bank is beyond me when this is across the street. The service is pretty good there but the food is just dreadful. Spend a little more and go to Public House.
The food and ambiance was fantastic. We could not believe our fortunate choice in the restaurant. When visiting from Northern California, we were not familiar with Temecula so this was a gem to find. We are coming back!

Their food is no joke! Kobe beef burger was incredible, along w/the service! I liked the dining options;front patio, indoor, & secluded back patio. Extensive beer selection, looking forward to a brunch visit.
Its a cozy place and the staff is very friendly. They have a very safe way of ordering food and paying for the bill using your own smartphone. The food was delivered in no time and it was delicious. Nice casual ambiance. I really recommend this place! 😊👍🏼
The food is fine, but we waited an hour for a sandwich and a plate of pasta. The table next to us came in 20 minutes after we did and got their food first. We ended up having to get our food to go in order not to be late to our next destination. Our waitress was very nice and apologetic, but that doesnt excuse failure to competently manage the restaurants work flow
We arrived at 12pm to get in line for the tapping of the Pliny the Younger keg that was supposed to happen at 2pm. At 155pm we were told it was pushed to 3pm. Thats whatever, but the bartenders have zero empathy. Where is the priority of guest experience? No I know, I am sorry, just deflecting to its not my decision. You can talk to the owner. Ok, bring him out here. Nothing. Weak. Poor guest service climate. Good news is there are several options in Old Town.

A very odd place. Miniscule inside seating with beer kegs in the aisle. But had the best piece of meat I ever ate: a Kobe grass fed burger MR, no bun. Seared to perfection and warm to the core. I am salivating now remembering it!
Adorable town! Great service! Amazing food! You cant go wrong with the tomato relapse, kobe bjamman burger and the Rest in Peach!!! Put it on your must try while passing through or as a weekly stop! Great for healthy option!
Food isnt all that great, not to mention it took over an hour to get to us. I dont think they have enough waiters. Drinks were great though, once it finally got to you. Atmosphere is pretty good, if a little bit tight on the space. Good, decent crowd. Music is okay. They have a band that plays but not much, mostly a cd-ish type cuz theres no DJ. For the most part, if you wanna hang out with friends, then its a good local joint but theres nothing about it that stands out from the rest of the local joints.

Could only order from special menu that was not mentioned when we made reservations. $60 each with 20% automatic service fee (tip)Server Stasha argued when one of our party ordered a steak med-well saying the chef was only serving it one way tonight, med-rare.Not a great experience.
Said we were vegan they had vegan options and the chef is vegan and some how we were served chicken still. The waiter was such a nice guy and I dont blame him but my family will never come here again. They gave us a gift card but just gave it away. Feel disgusted
The Reggae band was so good! My friends and I had a blast!! The service is great as well. From the bartenders to the servers, everyone was very polite.

Great drinks and atmosphere. Food is below average and disappointing. Steak is dry and flavorless. Salad tasted old and soggy. Would recommend coming only for drinks. Food use to be great but lackluster now. Abhorrent.
Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and shared his personal experience with the dishes that we chose but I will say the prices do not reflect the quality nor portion size of the food. I also didnt care much for the ingredients in the house salad. Definitely ask your server what is in the house salad if you have your doubts or are picky about your greens. Parking is an absolute nightmare unless you want to walk a few blocks from the parking structure near City Hall; I dont know how much it is as I got lucky finding a spot at the public parking lot just east of this establishment.
The food was good and the atmosphere was super nice. They take a long time to get you your food and at night sometimes not all of the heaters are on or have enough propane
I never write reviews on places but this place was so horrible that I had to. I was looking forward to trying this restaurant out for a date night but when we got there the hostess in the front ruined the whole experience. As we stood in line to put in our name for the wait-list we noticed she acted as if it were a privilege to be eating there. On top of it all she gave us dirty looks and when we asked how long the wait would be she took her precious time to tell us. In the end we did not eat here due to the bad service and I find it shameful for a restaurant of such high quality to have people like the hostess I encountered working there.
