Too loud, good band but cant hear ANY conversation even with the band on break. Thats the house controlling volume. Food is average, tables remained uncleared on patio for 2 hours. Drinks expensive. Wont be returning. Music is abundant elsewhere with better ambiance.
It was very nice, but seating is always so limited. When I went, we were directly across from both sets of doors, and it was 6 degrees out and people were in and out the whole night/constantly propping the door open. It was extremely cold, but the actual service and food was amazing. The band was amazing too! Definitely recommend this bar, just wish it wasnt at capacity almost every night :)
I can in for lunch, and I had Dakota as my server. She was the only one on the floor since they weren’t open for long, but she was very attentive and made sure to cater to all of her tables. Her supervisor Ryan came out to help clear off some tables and to help bring out food! The food was delicious, and I love the truffle fries with the red pepper aïoli!
We do love bar145 as a bar but…My family orders takeout from here often, my husband and I are spice lovers and we get the ghost burger and hot honey chicken sandwich. They are amazing! Super big and flavorful. The truffle fries are literally my favorite fries around, and my son who is picky when eating out loves the cheeseburger off the kids meals. The only complaint we ever have is we have gotten it and wished they gave more fries, the last few times they gave us small amounts. Definitely recommend bar145 for any dinner takeout!
Tried this place on a whim. Pub chips were very good could use a little more queso. The big mac on steroids was pretty tasty. The fried buttermilk chicken sandwich was huge and cooked to perfection. Glad we stopped by. The bowling next was a little noisy. Probably would have been a 5 star but prices seemed high.
Stopped in for a quick brunch before I hit the road. Sign says wait to be seated, then was told to seat myself. The wall was open for their patio, unfortunate result was flies buzzing around my table. I wanted to try the brunch board, but as that was too much for one, I opted for the breakfast tacos with a substitute of sriracha tots for home fries. Also, an orange juice mimosa, they offer a few other types. I tried to order the donut and strawberry kabobs, but they were out within an hour of opening. Mustve been very popular on Saturday. My tacos, the eggs were cold, so they intercepted another order for me. Honestly only slightly warmer. The sausage was also really salty, overpowering the green chili sauce on them. With the lukewarm eggs, I doubt Id get them again. The sriracha tots were good. The seasoning was slightly sweet, slightly spicy. My tots were fresh from the fryer, and I fully enjoyed those and the mimosa. All in all, Id visit again, but with a group to try the brunch board. Aside from that, maybe Ill just try their regular menu.
We used to love this place, a bit disappointed on our last visit. We ordered buffalo chicken dip for an app, very good, the patty melt on marble rye (was served on sourdough, one side burnt) and the Smokey the bear no bun asked to have over salad, it was over 8 pieces of spinach... You used to be able to have your burger served over a nice bowl of salad, not anymore. Very disappointing
Food is very expensive, not worth the price . The waitress was very rude. The table was dirty, and the floors were sticky. The bloody mary bar wasnt all that was out of everything we asked for. Will not return.
Service is great, always checking in. And food is really good! I will always hype up their Caesar salad, I’ve never had another Caesar salad that is better than bar 145! Atmosphere is always comfortable.
Used to love reset now most of the games are broken and just take your money, the rest are over priced. Also charge a food tax alcohol tax and credit tax on top of high prices lol. Burgers are still good but probably wont be back unfortunately.
Kristen was amazing!! The food was superb and Kristen was patient with our 1 year old and made great recommendations and we never had to wait for anything, she knew what we needed before we asked.. she was amazing and that was a perfect fit for the food, the pretzel bites were soft and crispy at the same time and my burger was from another planet where burgers are all they eat.. we are gonna be back again soon and again again and again.. you should ask for Kristen if you want amazing service!!!Update!! We came back again because it was so good, and we were lucky enough to get Kristen again!! She remembered us and remembered my beer choice and my fiancé’s salad choice. She made a great suggestion with the French Onion soup, and my daughter loves her!! This place is amazing but they are lucky to have people like Kristen, because we are already planning on coming back this week again and we are gonna ask for Kristen specifically. They could overcook my food and mess up other things but I wouldn’t care because the service is so great, and you can’t pay people like that enough to match the value they bring to the balance sheet. Thanks Kristen and thank you to the guys in the kitchen working hard to make our food amazing, we’ll be back soon!!
Not my favorite. We went for the arcade and it was more of a bar with a few games available. The bar is connected to a restaurant nextdoor where the food is coming from and the restaurant is how you enter the bar. The pretzel bites were not great and took about an hour to get out. I used to make pretzel bites for a movie theater I worked for. (They only take 6 minutes and 30 seconds to fry). They were the same frozen precooked pretzel bites, but without salt. We went on the weekend so maybe that was the issue. There was a live band and that was neat, but since we werent watching it and we were in the room next to it, we just couldnt hear anything. My husband and I were sitting maybe 6 inches from each other and we had to text back and forth to understand what the other was saying. I know a lot of people really enjoy a loud crowd, but if you have anxiety, are on the spectrum, noise sensitivity, light sensitivity I dont recommend this place. They had the lights up so bright it felt like we were under a spotlight. The servers were nice enough, but since we sat at a table they didnt really care that we were there. You have to go up to the bar to get service, which is also not friendly to the anxious person. The decor was pretty cool. They have a couple pinball machines poorly located next to the bathrooms.
My long island and cheese burger egg rolls were so delicious, and the service I received was awesome.
Fun and friendly place. Enjoyed the outdoor patio. Bartender and drinks were great.
Love the early happy hour from 4pm to 6pm. The cheeseburger eggrolls were delicious 😋. Nice atmosphere. On the other side is Reset Ararcade with old school video games 🎮
Very friendly bartenders that make you feel welcomed. Good food, reasonably priced. Live music, extremely nice patio and game room with pinball! Love this place.
This place is phenomenal! The staff is really nice and they have live music often. It’s always a great time here.
WAY OVER PRICED!!!!! Will not be going back. Food was just Soso, waitress was great, friendly.
I ordered “buffalo” sauce on 12 wings from door dash and received a “honey garlic glaze” sauce. After calling and questioning the order their manager said “they don’t have a buffalo sauce and they are working with door dash to correct the issue with buffalo as an option but that is their version of buffalo”.They did nothing to compensate me for a 100% wrong order, verified the order was wrong and the manager made me feel like I’m the one complaining about nothing. I don’t know in what world the combination of honey/garlic resembles buffalo but it was sticky/oily/watery and disgusting in my taste and I’m just forced to deal with it.You can’t just send food out to people that have already paid for it on your “version” of anything outside of what they ordered, especially when it’s a night and day difference. The flavor of honey and garlic have absolutely ZERO attributes of a buffalo sauce (btw the sauce is what makes the wings). This issue could’ve been resolved as I called and just questioned the order because I thought it was just a mistake and was told that is their buffalo, tough luck. I am right, I ordered buffalo, they are wrong, they delivered me honey garlic on the premise they don’t carry buffalo which is on every menu they have. They have no stance but I, the customer, am wrong and stuck with it. Again, this petty issue could have been resolved with just basic customer service but I’m stuck with nasty food that they acknowledged I didn’t even order! I will never go or order anything from there ever again.
Firet time here. Excellent service. Pretty good food. Will be back when they have music.
The burger was really good. Juicy burger cooked properly. The beer is the best. A great variety.
Terrible service. Took way too long for service, drinks, food, and check. The waiter did not seem to care about us at all, as he had other tables across the bar that he tended to more. Informed the waiter about a food allergy and was told I couldnt eat anything but wings. They did not really care about my allergy and wouldnt check the items in the pantry/kitchen to see if I could have them. The wings came out with a bunch of feathers on them that were deep fried. I spoke with the manager about this, and he didnt care to hear what we had to say. He just repeatedly said well, you ate some wings, so they must not have been that bad. After asking for our check, it took them another 15 to 30 minutes to get it to us. The price was around $70, and I felt ripped off. I have never wanted to dine and dash so much in my life. We used to go here all the time, but that will be the last time we go.
Nice popular venue, gotten a little rough around the edges. A little cleaning up, refocus on the target market and it could have a Renaissance.
Ate the ghost burger on a Sunday evening in November 2023. Burger was perfect. Mood was very pleasant - calm and quiet. I was here a long time ago for live music and that was also pretty cool.
Always a good place to eat or have a cocktail. Nice urban feel and different from the other pubs!
Pros: Good food and drinksCons: I had to order three different drinks before they could make one because they were out of necessary ingredients. All drinks were straight off of their drink menu. One was a bourbon and one was a house cocktail. It took 12 minutes before the bartender even noticed me and another 10 minutes after I ordered my drink before I actually received it.When my friend and I asked for menus, we were given one drink menu to share and then the bartender ran off for another 10 minutes. After finally getting food menus, and placing our order for food for two people, it took 38 minutes before we had food in front of us and a couple more minutes after that to bring the fries out separately. The place was almost completely empty at 3:30pm on a Saturday when I went, and it still took 20 minutes to get a drink and an hour after I arrived to get food. While the food was good, it wasnt good enough to wait that long for it, especially when LOTS of workers were standing around doing nothing. I was really disappointed, especially after being referred by a friend. I was actually looking forward to a regular place to go, but now I wont be going back.I try my best to give a fair review based on facts.
Whether you want to stop in for a meal or just grab a some drinks, you won’t be disappointed. They have a wide selection on their menu and amazing burgers. Also a great atmosphere to compliment their great food
Holy cow 🐄 $19 for a burger 🍔 that was dry and hard to eat. The drink menu doesnt have prices listed. Got a lousy tasting can of beer that was $10. I wont be back any time soon. Had the Simpleton burger that I would never order again. It was so cold in there I wished I had worn my gloves. They use a smoke machine that made the air smell really bad. Sorry I went back.
Live Jazz music was a super bonus. Food was adequate but a little spendy.
Family place by day that turns into more of a bar/club at night depending on the live band. Usually a great place to get a burger or just enjoy one of the drinks they make. Attached to Reset where you can play a lot of classic arcade games for free as long as you are placing an order. Upscale bar but not too pricey.
I used to love this place but it has gone downhill. The food is great but severely overpriced. On top of that, they charge a food tax, alcohol tax and a credit card fee which is outrageous. The Reset side is a joke anymore, most of the games do not work properly (Air Hockey wouldnt drop a puck, Pong game had one ball that sometimes came out) and many of them only take dollar bills now instead of coins like they used to. So not only are you getting robbed by fees, the games keep your money too. The floor was so sticky throughout the restaurant that it took effort just for me to walk, it was disgusting. The Reset with Cameo Pizza in Perrysburg is ran so much better than this location, get it together Bar 145! Oh & they also delete unfavorable comments on Facebook!
A pretty overpriced spot in general. The food is not the greatest, the bartenders are hit or miss, and the door guy was unnecessarily rude. Ive been coming here on and off recently because its at a convenient location and they occasionally have some nice bands playing, but will be avoiding it from now on.
Delicious food, great service and fun atmosphere! I had the pretzel bites for an app and then the French Onion soup and house salad for an entree.
Food was good, service was good. Way to much paprika on the French onion soup to the point that it was all you could taste. It is a bit pricey as well. The reason for the low stars was because the music was so loud that it made it hard to have a conversation.
Leaving this review for this location as a concert venue, not a restaurant. As a restaurant and barcade, they might have a good thing going, I came from Cleveland so I havent been there before. I would estimate the attendee size was a few hundred people for this show? This was for the Emorasa tour.As a concert venue, I think they have some kinks to work out. Most of these issues would be fine had there been communication. It seems as though they have live music regularly, but this was a special event involving them closing down mid-day, and reopening for a ticketed event.Timing: the concert promoter, BravoArtist, listed doors at 7, show at 8. However, the show started at 7:30. We were there early, but there are times we show up a few minutes before show. Just something to keep in mind if coming from out of town. Finding some consistency in schedule. One hour is standard I believe.Food policy:Being unfamiliar with the venue, we checked out the website beforehand - saw it was a bistropub and barcade, so we figured we could go early and grab dinner. Since doors were at 7, we came at 5:30 to eat and have pre show drinks. The sign on the door indicated they would close 5-7. No big deal, we decided we would just come at 7 when doors open (an hour before the show) and eat before the show. Their Facebook post even had #food #burgersOnly *after* we entered, we were told the kitchen was closed and if we wanted to leave and get food, re-entering the venue was $20 (our original concert ticket was $20, so we would essentially have to buy another ticket if we left). We asked our bartender if we could do Doordash, she checked and was told no - but then saw people bringing in pizza a little later?Re entry:As previously mentioned, we were told re-entry would be the cost of another ticket, $20. However, we later saw a sign that said $10 re-entry.Misc :They were definitely well staffed and everyone was fast and attentive - didnt have to wait long for drinks. The bartender was super sweet. The stage set up was great and the music sounded perfect. It was a good sized venue for the type of bands who tour through BravoArtist. If yall plan to keep going as a ticketed concert venue, just a few things to work out!I think it was just a lack of preparing for a bigger show and communicating to employees the procedures. Perhaps needed consistency (door dash or not? Whats the actual re entry cost, publicizing the kitchen is closed before entering, etc).Next time were in Toledo perhaps well check out the restaurant and play some games.
This was my 3rd visit here. My sister and I have enjoyed this very much. Great food and we go see a rockin 80s cover band. 80s vice is really great!
Everything was overpriced and not great. The chicken was dry and hard. The burger was over salted. The fries had a pile of seasoning on it. They had some sort of a game going on but they never bothered to explain it. I found lumps in my iced tea twice and then when I finally got a good one my server came and took it!
I was looking forward to dinner because I have had good experiences at bar 145 before. This was the exception. The fries and dessert were good though. Requested a well done cheeseburger but received medium rare. Found a bone and some cartilage in the fried chicken sandwich. Both the patty and the fried chicken sandwich were thin. So this trip was disappointing to us but the dog was happy.
Waitress was very friendly. Great burgers nice atmosphere.
For an order of pierogi’s and a grilled chicken sandwich with soggy, undercooked, fries the cost was over $30.00. Food wasn’t terrible other than the fries but not worth the cost.
Well the place is clean, friendly, and food is pretty good, Portions are average and presented well. Our biggest shout out to our 1st waiter Brandon F. who secured my credit card I left in the receipt book until we came back in for dinner again and get our card the next day. We had another waiter who gave us our credit card back but wouldnt you know I get home and found out my credit card had fell out my pocket this time. We called Bar145 again and Brandon to the rescue he went to our table and found it for us. So there we went again back out to dinner! So embarrassing but wanted thank Brandon for his honesty and help. I think a raise is due!
Food is amazing the bartenders are amazing, the house band playing you can’t hear the singers voice the band over powers the poor guy. Over all a great night. Should work on the volume of the singer’s mic
Super fun for both food atmosphere and classic arcade gaming. We held a team event with the Burger bar and would definitely recommend it if your company was thinking about 18 building event that is off-site. Wait staff was helpful and courteous. They also had a live band in another room at the same time we were holding our event that was not disruptive to our event.
WOW. I could go on about the bar itself. Cleanliness, atmosphere, cheap prices, games and food; all outstanding. One thing sets Bar 145 apart from others.. LESLIE. 10/10 only coming back for her service, personality and jaw dropping looks. Give that girl a raise, she keeps the bar alive. Amazing.
I stopped in to take some food home 9/18/2022 and ok lets be honest. What I ate was good and I enjoyed it but not close to what I ordered. Toppings were completely different on my sandwich. One of the burgers, which I ordered medium was medium rare at best and more on the rare side. Still while my sandwich was absolutely wrong it tasted great. Also pretzels are great.
We ate there on a Sunday a few weeks ago and sat on the side where all the arcade game used to be. I had no idea that space was now a mini-bowling alley. Service is what you’d expect given every restaurant in the country is short staffed, but we definitely felt forgotten about*. The food was so-so; nothing to write home about. My Bloody Mary was excellent! We were enjoying a nice breakfast until the bowling started 😬 Who books a kid’s birthday party at a bar, on a Sunday?? I think they should warn people that there will be bowling, and it’s effing loud! We would have waited for a table on the other side. We paid the tab and left a cash tip. Later that evening, I noticed two separate charges on my credit card. One for my bill and an additional charge for what, I have no clue. Once I was finally able to get someone to answer the phone when I called the next day- they immediately made it right by sending me a refund. I’d go back, but would most definitely not sit in the back bar by the bowling.*We we’re brought out a yummy breakfast treat by a manager since we waited so long for our waitress to show up (we didn’t even complain about waiting for her) That was nice and showed they do care about their customers.
Great experience. The cheeseburger egg rolls and chunks were great. Brandon F was our server and was one of the most positive and responsive servers I have ever had.
The music and environment can be loud on weekends. The burgers and drinks are great, I dont know if I would describe the truffle fries as truffle fries though.
Went when they opened so not much of a crowd. Sat at the bar and had a nice conversation with the bartender. Food was great. Definitely going back
Used to be able to walk in and go to reset side of the bar. We did and was told by a very grumpy manager someone would be with us shortly. Then a server and bartender came over and said there’s no service for that side. (Ok no problem) So we went back to the bar on the other side. Brandon served other patrons. We waited. A group walks in and stands right next to us and he serves them instead. We walked out after not being served for 15 minutes. We won’t be back. Sorry we wanted to drink beer and play games. Bier stube was a way better experience (:
I have always been 110% happy whenever I have eaten at bar 145. Not only was the service amazing and friendly and attentive but my Moscow Mule was really really good and so is my food. I love that they cater to a more foodie type of audience and they have some unique items on the menu it’s always exciting to try what they’ve come up with. We shared the pierogies and sausage as an appetizer and they were really good as far as pierogies go probably some of the best I’ve had. And then I was daring and tried the apple pie burger which had cinnamon apples and whipped cream cheese. I am admittedly not a huge burger person but this was one of the best things I have ever eaten. The combination of sweet and salty and savory and fall spices was just perfect especially with a side of the brussels sprouts and cranberries
Decent place and used to be my go-to spot in college. Their food during the day was really good. At nighttime, it becomes a vibrant place with a dance floor.
Honestly, I have been here twice now. Let me tell you.. Lesley…BY FAR is best bartender u have ever have. Not only does she look like Kim K…but she’s the most respectful bartender I have ever have. Bar 145 is amazing , and if she’s working..hands down the best night EVER!
Extremely overpriced for the quality and quantity of the food. Ordered a glass of iced tea and it had slimey chunks in the bottom. I will be asked for a glass of ice water and got a second glass of slimey tea! Finally got the ice water and as soon as I added a few drops of flavor drops the waitress took the glass because...?They were playing a game but no one was playing because they never explained it or warned us about it.Just not worth the time or money.
TL;DR - Overpriced DoorDash Wendys burgers with a non-refundable alcoholic beverage policy that will force you to pay for drinks unfit for the human palate.Unfortunately, none of the 5 star reviews boasting the best burger in Toledo could prop this establishment atop the landfill its owners feign as a restaurant. So long as your experience with consuming the all-American burger stops short of Wendys, youve found the right place - so long as youve been desperately hoping that Wendys would increase its price to $16.99 per entree to properly appreciate its crowning quality.Ordered medium? Expect a hockey puck. Needless to say, though I appreciated being able to watch the NHL during my visit, I was not aware that their food was themed for the occasion.Couple that with a bartender that set the recipe card upside down, and you have an unconsumable drink that you are now forced to pay for, as the owners have deemed alcoholic beverages non-refundable, regardless of whether nail polish remover was added to the glass before it reached your table.Feel free to order as many replacements as youd like! Just be aware that with each non-potable drink youre delivered, an undisclosed dollar-amount will be added to your bill, as their receipts are not itemized. Its in your best interest to suppose that the cost of your domestic beer is market.
Had the expectation of a Reset circa 2019, even called to ask if the games were free and was told almost all are free. Went tonight and only 1 game is free. Most games are 50¢ and up. Fries and tots were very greasy. Crafted burger was good but the rest of the food was sub-par.
I dont know why I come back to a restaurant after Ive written it off. This time I was in the mood for the chicken sandwich. They have a fantastic honey garlic aoili thats perfect with the sandwich. As I received my food, I noticed that the sandwich was piled high. I took a closer look only to discover, my chicken breast was nothing but a mere beefed up chicken tender. Asked the waitress about it and she just shrugged her shoulders and said that she didnt know. Didnt offer any type of solution whatsoever. She could look and plainly see that it was not a chicken breast on my bun. The sandwich has fantastic flavor, but this was the last straw.Im going to completely write this place off. Unless you were going there simply for spirits or the game room next door, AVOID THE FOOD!
ZERO STARS!!!! DO NOT USE A CREDIT CARD THERE! Twice my credit card has been overcharged and scammed in this restaurant. I called management and get NO results there. I had to call my bank to dispute the charges twice. I will not go back and if I do I will pay in cash only. OR I WILL WALK OUT ON MY BILL because at this point they should be paying me to eat and drink there. Unacceptable.
Service was great! But the sandwich I got tasted like a burnt grill, which made me worry they arent cleaning the grill. Its strange they charge so much but dont take the time to clean the grill theyre cooking the expensive food on.
Can NOT say enough amazing things about my favorite local bar. Its above par for all the things anyone would want for food and service but the VIBE! THE VIBE is what wins this place for me. Every walk of life comes together in this place and its never been anything but chill vibes no matter what time it is. If this place isnt at the top of your list then you need a new list. 🍻
Rather quiet night. Music was good. Didnt have food.
I havent been here for a few years, and the last time I was, the food was a disappointment. Today, the food was excellent. Our waitress, Tasha, just added to the excellence. As long as they keep fixin excellent burgers and keep good staff, like Tasha, Ill keep coming back.
I have been coming to this restaurant for years and I can’t say enough good things about it. From their entertainment to the food -it’s exceptional. The staff is so kind and I always feel like I’m home- but a very elevated home lol. Lesley was so accommodating and friendly, I would come back just for her energy and service.
Fun bar, some great bands go in there. Staff is nice, food is ok. Has a nice outside patio and bar area as well.
I was excited to bring my fiancé here for the first time, especially after it had been some years since I’ve gone to Reset and I’ve sung nothing but praises about the establishments. We were sat in front of the stage by the door, and… that was the end of our service. Multiple staff walked by our table, looked at us, but never said anything. We couldn’t get anyone’s attention. Two other groups were given tables, beverages and put their orders in before we were asked what we would like to drink. We left after sitting for twenty five minutes without getting so much as a “I’ll be right with you” or “it will be just one moment!”
I come in often. Lesley took care of us tonight. Not only were the drinks amazing but the food was the best it has ever been. Super happy with everything and I will definitely be back for more.
Great place to hang out with your mate or a group of friends. Burgers are delicious! It can get a little loud once the live music starts, but thats to be expected.
Came on a Tuesday around 8:15pm! No wait and open seating. Our waitress was wonderful, our drinks were good, and we loved our food!! I had the Caesar salad with salmon and truffle fries. My fiancé had the salmon BLT! The vibe is amazing and they play awesome music. Highly recommend!
Services was not good. Food was great, but the wait when it wasnt busy made it frustrating. They also lied about the duck bowling only have two working lanes only to have two other groups come in almost two hours later to play. Unless management and services changes I would not recommend this place.
Great place to have a small get together. Good food but the shot sizes are a bit small compared to other bars.
Overpriced, overcooked and under servered...the staff seems clueless and the cook needs trained. Spent 120 and wasnt worth 30..and maybe that seem drastic but if im being honest 30 is probably pushing it...never again..not sure how places like this stay open in this day and age!
Portions are small, prices are high, food is decent, waitress was nice enough. They ran out of kid menus so we all had to find it on our phone via their website which was annoying. My husband had the wax wrapper from cheese on his burger and they didnt even remove the burger from our bill, he just had to peel it off. Wouldnt let me remove jalapenos from my salad and forgot my kids sauce for his itty bitty portion of chicken.
Truffle fries were pretty tasty. This place was slightly on the pricey-side. Wait times were pretty high, as well (ranging 50 min or more). Didnt receive a refill, only the guests who ordered alcohol did. I enjoyed the fact they are connected to Reset which has novel arcade games to play while you drink. Overall, a decent experience but the service didnt impress me.
Sydney was an awesome waitress the breaded lemon pepper dry rub wings were so good, I have to go back and my drink was everything!!!!!!
The arcade bar is nothing like it used to be. Now all can you hear is blaring loud music. There is just a single row of maybe 7 arcade machines. The group I was with decided to leave immediately.
Extremely slow service, made reservations for 18, totally unprepared, 3 never received their drinks. Unorganized with giving out bills, waitress spilled water behind the table, never mopped it, left puddle of water. Automatically added a 20% tip to the checks.
Came in for lunch. Was happy with the service and overall atmosphere of the restaurant. I ordered a burger and asked for it medium well and it came out way over done. The menu is definitely different and focuses on people with an adventurous side.I will be back to try this place out again in the future and will have to try something different next time. Hopefully my food will be cooked correctly and my review will be changed.
Came on a Sunday to try the brunch I heard about only to find it is no longer done. How disappointing. Also notice seats on booths were all torn to hell. Looks like maintenance is lacking. Food was nothing special to write about. Service was very slow and cold. Suggest people go to the V.I. much better experience. If could give 0 stars I would
Im mostly here as a lunch spot and its very good for that. The build your own menu for burgers/sandwiches is great. Can be a bit pricey but the food is great. The addition of the arcade is an awesome touch. It gets loud at night with bands and the party crowd, which isnt so much my thing but it looks like everyone has a great time.
Won’t get acknowledged when you come in, YOU have to go find someone to come take your order. Order came out wrong, and they don’t take allergies serious. Instead of remaking the burger they’ll just take whatever it is off in front of your face and then hand it back to your server to give to you. Management and servers are rude and will false accuse you of not paying your tab if you complain about the service lol
I came back after being a regular here for a number of years. Food is now terrible. Service was fine.
Food is always fresh. I feel like the the person that plans the menu really cares about the customers. Way to go kitchen staff. Plus, the service is tops. Nice varied drink selection. Had my first Pappy @ Bar145. We travel over an hour to get to Bar145. Keep up the good work!
Lots of fun good staff. Food was excellent offering Cajun Shrimp Taco, Salmon BLT and huge Burgers. Amazing Arcades and Art. Saw the Any Way You Want It twice and the sets were great as always. Fun crowd. Definitely wont mind visiting there again.
For an 18.99 burger, I would expect fresh, not frozen patty. Service was awful. First time and last time I will visit this place
I had a great time with my son, as well as my fiance. I will say that a table behind us was a bit racist, and were speaking loudly about finding a new Bar 145 because of the crowd. Needless to say we were the only brown family. That had no bearing on my views of the restaurant though. Everyone was polite and courteous. The food was great! We even went next door to Reset and played video games. Overall it was very enjoyable. We will definitely revisit!
The Bloody Mary bar was amazing!! Super busy today and the little staff they have due to people not working did so well!! So happy to see they were so busy!! Our waitress had a ton of tables and she still did amazing!! Thank you guys for a great Sunday morning! Let’s hope people start working soon so that y’all can not be so stressed!
Best burgers in town, probably. Absolutely stellar atmosphere, and Natasha was awesome. Five stars just for how great she was. Thanks for taking care of us today!
Terrible service, will not b back. No silverware and ordered salad, had to go find our own. Took long time to get food, but never saw waitress to order another drink while waitingAfter she finally brought burgers, ordered drinks, didnt get them until way done eating. Wont be back and wont recommend. Wait staff there needs some serious training in customer service skills. Cant remember when we ever had such poor service. Food was pretty good, but not that good for the price. Way better burgers & service @ 2 locations just down the road
Dont waste your time trying to get noticed at the bar here. Twice now Ive been here and sat patiently waiting for the bartender just to keep waiting. Last night I left after 3 people who came in after me were given drinks first. It was around 9/9:30 but the bartender was more worried about closing the patio than her customers. Bar 145 wont see me again. Better service anywhere else
Food was nothing spectacular. Not anything remarkable. The bar tender was nice except she kept playing in her hair then touching the cups and making drinks. I wont go back. But thats just me. A lot of people like the spot
Only had a cocktail it was good called the angry apple pie
Came in to meet some friends for a couple of drinks. Only issue was the love band didnt know how to mix their sound.
It appears to be under new management or ownership. Food quality has gone down hill. Poor wait staff was training herself, as the “Manager” sat at the bar. This used to be a favorite of mine. Now it’s horrible.
Normally I am not one to complain since I work in customer service myself, but my family and I went for Sunday brunch yesterday and had an absolutely TERRIBLE experience. I know there are staffing issues everywhere but when we show up at opening and we are the only people there we should be able to get served fairly quickly. Especially when there are 4 servers available and just the 3 in my party. The server seemed nice and got us our drinks fairly quickly. It took an unnecessarily long amount of time for us to recieive our food and then the food we ordered was prepared incorrectly even after I had asked if an ingredient could be taken out to which they replied should be no problem. This ingredient was mixed in and spread on the whole dish making it not pleasent or edible. When we told them about the error they responded with well I told the kitchen to not include it and they walked away. They did apologize in passing but did nothing to remedy the error. They then forgot to bring a whole part of our order and still charged us for it. That is partially on us for not realizing it until we left, but needless to say we were not happy. Hopefully no one else has this sort of experience.
The service sucked but at least the food was awful. The French onion soup was doused with paprika and was unedible. The burned wings they brought out werent even hot.
Waited almost 45 minutes for food order to be taken. Truffle fries taste heavy with oil. I will not go back. My two dinner companions had a better experience than I did. One opted for soup instead of the truffle fries. The other built his own burger.
I visited on a Thursday evening with a party of nine, and it was among the worst restaurant/bar experiences I have had. First, the staff informed our group that the restaurant could only accommodate one party our size despite the restaurant not even half-full, and they had just seated such a party. Our only option was to split the group and sit at two separate tables, to which we reluctantly agreed. After a time, our server introduced herself and explained that she has only been working at this restaurant for about one month. She called herself new. She then took our orders for drinks. The person next to me ordered a Manhattan, a couple of people at the other table ordered Old-Fashioneds, the fellow across from me ordered an iced tea, while the balance of us ordered from the beer selection printed on the menu. After some more time, our server returned to tell us that the beer selected by three of us was no longer available. One decided to go easy and ordered a domestic draft, but the other two of us ordered an IPA selection, to which the server asked, Whats that? I explained. She said shell figure it out and left. We sat for more than 15 minutes, and none of us yet has a drink. Eventually, she came out carrying the Manhattan. This was the worst-looking Manhattan I have seen. The glass was only half full. Ive never seen a Manhattan that wasnt near the rim of the glass, even if it meant a large amount of ice. The server then asked me again about the beer I selected. She made me show to her where that beer was listed on the menu. She said, Ive never heard of it.Several minutes later she returned with the two Old-Fashioneds, one in each hand. Still, she had served none of the beers nor the iced tea. Our frustration was mounting.Next she brought out only the domestic draft and then left.Several minutes later, she brought out the two cans of beer she had never heard of, one in each hand. It was disconcerting that the menu doesnt indicate that this beer is served in a can and not a pint draft. It does state that for some of the other beer selections. We were still waiting on the domestic bottle and, incredibly, the iced tea. She returned to say that the domestic bottle selection was also unavailable, so the gentleman revised his order. Still no iced tea. After nearly 40 minutes of these shenanigans, we were all served our drinks, the iced tea being the last of the drinks to be served. All throughout this time spent waiting, we noticed a handful of servers bringing drinks and food, and none of them was using a tray. In fact, throughout that hour we were sitting and watching, we saw not one single tray in use. After she finally served the iced tea, we made the no-brainer decision to get the bill and leave. No way were going to attempt a food order from this staff. I doubt any of us will make a return visit.
This was one of the few places we havent tried in town so I was a little excited to try it finally. There were only 2 or 3 tables sat when we arrived. We were given 2 menus for 3 adults and a child. We asked for a childs menu and they were out of them. Our server asked if we wanted an appetizer, so I asked my son if he wanted egg rolls or pretzels, before he could answer she said shell be right back...apparently she couldnt spare the extra 5 seconds to wait for a decision. Our app was served with no side plates and we didnt get any napkins until we had it half eaten. The pretzels and cheese were average at best.We then ordered our meals. The kids meal came out before everything else. Perfect! Then came my burger...and ONLY my burger. I waited politely to eat until the rest of the table was served. Our waitress asked if there was an issue, which we replied we were just waiting for everyones meals to come. She explained that the kitchen was backed up and they were short staffed. We were 1 of only a few tables in the place when we ordered, yet I noticed an 8 top that came in well after we did already had their food. 10 minutes later the rest of our food was served. My burger was just ok but the soggy truffle fries were bland and whatever they put on them (looks like parmesean cheese) has no taste. My sons chicken sandwich was burnt so he only took one bite, but my girlfriend said hers was good. Our server didnt check in on us until most of the edible food was gone. So I just asked for the check. The check came and I was surprised to find that we were charged extra for the sides with each meal. This was never mentioned when we ordered. I paid and got a thanks from the server under her breath when the receipt was delivered...We eat out multiple times a week and while Im not super impressed with every place we eat at, Im rarely this disappointed. We wont be back.
The food is really good and I like that you can make a completely custom burger if you want something other than the options they have on the menu. There is a fairly good selection of beer and they have a rotating list. I will being going back again. Sometimes the service is slow and the food is on the higher side, so this is not a place to go if youre looking for something cheap. You get what you pay for though.
One of the best burgers I can get around here. My wife is from Michigan and she said the burger she had was the best ever .
Im told its hit or miss with service here but we had a good experience. Our waitress was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The best part was we were able to bring our pups around back to the patio to join us. I would go back.
Was seated promptly, then waited 15 minutes to be waited on. Ordered a burger and fries. Order came 40 minutes later. Burger undercooked, ordered medium, fries over cooked, and both came out cold. Burger was bland and the truffle flies, what little I could stomach due to being burnt, were tasteless. The meal was almost 18 dollars. Go to Wendys, youll have a better experience.
The games in the retro arcade were set to a very high difficulty and the pinball machines were racked to their highest angle. Made gameplay more frustrating than enjoyable. The service was rather slow and the food was terrible. I ordered a burger medium-well and it was cooked more or less correctly for half of the burger, but the further I progressed the more raw it was. The last third was rare and the bun was soggy with the blood. I dont even know how this can be done, but it was half undercooked. The pulled pork sliders were dry and tasteless, and the Mac and cheese was runny and gross. Overall, a lousy experience.
If I could leave 0 I would!! I just went last night (01/14/2023) and WE arent treated the same AT ALL! BAR STAFF ON THE PATIO was GREAT until the manager with the beard came thru and started his own drama! I loved the live entertainment and everything else, tipped GREAT, and I got KICKED OUT!! Security, (who is ME), kicked me out for NOTHING, cuz the manager with the beard, wanted me to go!!! How?? Im enjoying myself?!?!? And next thing ik, security comes along, takes my PAID FOR DRINK, and tells me I gotta leave?!?!?! Threw it out and all!! WHY??? I thought it was a cool spot til the manager who is more unprofessional with his job comes, instigated, and kicked me out, by security, and took the tip and drink I paid for! WATCH OUT FOR THE MANAGER WITH THE BEARD AND HIS SLAVE! JS Other then him Im dancing and singing and enjoyed myself..js...UNTIL......
Great appetizers. We had the fried green tomatoes caprese, which were delicious. They have a lovely covered patio and live music at certain times. Great atmosphere here! And the burgers here are the best!
Really liked this place for a few years. But quality has gone way down. Went today for the first time since the outbreak... ZERO cooks wearing mask.... all workers constantly lowered their to talk to fellow coworkers... to top it off food was mediocre at best.... might give it a try in another 6 months or so.... its a shame. Used to be a weekly hangout.
My wife and I love the food here, but it always feels like a dance club even at 12pm on a Sunday. Some of us are recovering from Saturday night activities, and just want a burger, but the brunch was the only thing available. I couldn’t even hear the server ask me what I wanted to drink over the SUPER loud techno playing all over the place. Might avoid next time I’m craving a burger.
There was no social distancing and absolutely no one wear a mask or gloves. Not even the cooks, bartenders only cared about their regulars and were pretty rude we sat at the bar for 10 minutes before being acknowledged. It was just a very un easy feeling in there. If your looking to go for a nice cold beer go anywhere else but here.
The worst service Ive ever experienced at a bar. Which is super sad because the atmosphere is awesome. They have TVs, games, music, its awesome. But the service is horrible. They were so rude. I had a black speck in my drink and Im pretty sure it didnt belong. And the bartender argued with me saying its apart of the jalapeno that gets muddled. Unless the jalapeno is a bad one idk what jalapenos have black specks. Also they werent busy and they take forever to check on us.
Ordered 3 burgers for take-out. Showed up to a 42.00 bill. I had a coupon off of the owners OWN event page for $5 burgers for the exact date of May 27, 2020. The OWNER REFUSED TO HONOR HIS OWN COUPON. Burgers were fine...but No where near 42 dollar fine. Will skip this place...well....forever!
I ordered the grilled cheese burger. It was definitely not what I was expecting. I thought it would be the burger sandwiched between layers of cheese and bacon and bread, like a sandwich, but it was literally a meat patty between two halves of a grilled cheese sandwich, so sandwich then meat then sandwich. It was pretty disappointing and the meat was bland. Atmosphere and waitress are great, though, and they had beer, so thats a plus.
Decent. Not the best bar ever. But a better kitchen than most. Decent selection of whiskey. Decent selection of beers. But nothing outstanding. Slightly above par all around. Just nothing amazing. Although, live music is a bonus. And they have a really decent lunch special deal.
Classic arcade gameing, and beer whats better than that? Maybe their killer burgers? I stopped in with a few friends and we had a blast! From the Great food, friendly service, and table side classic gaming consoles, to the impressive selection of Arcade games time sped by as we had a great night of Nostalgia. Did I mention the Burgers? And the loaded fries are to die for.. 🤣
My husband and I come here fairly frequently. We enjoy the food and drinks. The service most times is horrible though. Our most recent visit we stood for probably 2-3 minutes before we were told to then “sit wherever.” The waitress seemed to busy chatting with her friend to acknowledge us. This same gal then became our waitress and not much changed. I drank my water and never once got asked if I needed a refill, even though I blatantly set my cup at the edge of the table in hopes it would be pretty obvious. She did refill my husband’s drink once but it took her nearly five minutes before she returned with it. I was really disappointed with the lack of customer service.
Even though I have yet to eat here, I still know the drinks are good (they make the perfect green tea shot) and the live bands are always fun, especially when the Tricky Dicks come in town. They pack that place. Drinks are good and for a moderate priced place to eat the drink prices match.
This place as fallen quite far.Its quite sad, i remember when this place first opened up it was one of the coolest places in Toledo, however each time i come back(been here 8 times in 2 years) it has just gotten worse and worse. The buns are cheap and stale, I feel like im getting yesterdays bread every time i get a burger. While the meat, cheese, etc are always up to par, the buns lack, and its rather disappointing. and its evident they have moved to cheaper ingredientsMy biggest sadness come from the change of sides. every side used be an awesome artisan dish, however as of late this no longer the case, The Truffle fries are now simply a bowl of what are essentially Mcdonalds style fries with some seasoning on them. The Mac & Cheese is perhaps the most bland thing i have ever had.The beer selection is nice, and the bar tenders are nice (most of the wait staff are pretty great) however the last 2 times i have gone to have dinner there later in the night there were almost fights, i mean i have been in inner city dive bars with less violence. After 10pm this place almost feels like a dive bar to be honest. All this being said, its still a decent restaurant, and worth a visit if your in the area. I hope one of these days this place gets back to its former glory
If I have a friend in town that has never been to Toledo I take them here for a fun casual burger joint. The burgers are great and they have a good drink selection. Most weekends they have a live band or DJ. There is also a cool outdoor area if its a nice day.
Food was great, service on the patio sucks!! Waitress knew we had 2 yet to arrive, when they did she gave them water, said shed be back for the order but never came back, except to bring the others bills. She was bad once before! Still working, but we wont go back.
Live music on some Saturdays, great food, and awesome cocktails! My boyfriend and I went here after a crappy day at cedar point and this place saved our night! Good band and comfortable environment. A mixture of all ages.
Had braised chicken wings, cooked perfectly, but why not season them? Needed sauce, which I really didnt want. I think theyd be amazing with a dry rub of some sort.
Took a bunch of high school kids here for a birthday party. Seriously- realized the place was a bar when all i was thinking was video games. Another round of succesful adulting. Overall - food and service were great. Really solid burgers plus I got to beat the X Men arcade machine AGAIN as a grown a$$ man with no guilt about blowing my allowance.
Great place! Lots of fun to be had with a unique atmosphere. Part nostalgic, part upscale and part chill. Our last few times at Bar 145, we have ironically been fortunate to come in while Brandon was working and he has left quite an impression on my fiance and I after going the extra mile with top notch customer service to ensure our visits are nothing less than superb and awesome. We have loved coming here several times now and are always eager to bring our out of town guests here when they visit. My fiance even set up a surprise birthday party for me here which included over 60 of my friends and family showing up, making a very memorable night. Definitely a place to visit here in Toledo for sure.
Waitress, Taylor was Awesome. She took exceptional care of my Family. There was 18 of us. She was amazing.Music was to loud, was struggling to visit with each other. Again the waitress (Taylor)should be honoured. Hope you get an appreciation talk from the management.
Good day:I recently visited your establishment after arriving home from a combat deployment. I was greatly looking forward to spending an evening with my little brother, whom I havent seen in over a year.Words alone cannot express the level of disrespect that I experienced from one of your bartenders. Upon presenting my identification, I was told that because it was expired, I would not be served. If this is truly your policy, then I raise no issue with that (although I presented a valid military id that was never considered). We left immediately after purchasing one beverage. The issue at hand is as follows: your bartenders snide attitude & treatment towards me was unprofessional & unwarranted. She basically looked at me with no regard. I attempted to follow up with her to request a manager, but she made herself unavailable. Is this how you intend to treat all veterans?I would personally ask for an apology, and I do hope you will examine your employees treatment toward customers in the future.Regrettably,Nick Lang
We stopped in for the first time for lunch, and we were very impressed with the service and the food. We got the grilled cheese burger, the cubano, and the grilled cheese sandwich. Everything was tasty and fresh, and the truffle fries and sriracha fries were both awesome too. We will definitely be stopping back again to try some of the other items on the menu.
I have been here twice, both times were amazing! This last time I ordered the Americana and it was so juicy and cooked to perfection!! Best burgers in town besides 5 guys!! Fun atmosphere as well
My family of 10 went there for Easter brunch. We made reservations ahead of time however there was some kind of mix up and they were lost. We were disappointed but instead of turning us away we were told to just hang on a second. The hostess (Ashley) found a place to put us which meant pulling tables out of a storage area and setting a place up for us. She was great. At another point some food was gone from the buffet and we told them about it. Ashley not only got the food from the back but she brought some of what was missing over to our table for us. Honestly we were very impressed by how we were treated. What could have ended with just them saying “sorry we can’t help you” turned in to them going above and beyond to make sure were had a good experience. We will for sure be going back just because of how Ashley treated us.
Im never impressed by this place or in a hurry to go back. Tonight was my first time in bar 145 in over two years and I dont feel the need to return any time soon, really ever. The bar tenders were semi attentive which is fine. What wasnt okay is the cold fries that were served to my party when it didnt appear that many people were ordering food after 12am. Regardless of the food thing I can over look it. The fact that after all two of our checks were settled and the bar tender followed me out putting my sisters bill in my face saying is she going to pay this after she had already paid cannot be over looked. This is an epic fail. Why, I dont know and wont speculate. She knows why she felt the need to follow me toward the exit to ask my party to pay after they already had. I definitely dont feel the need to return. The food is horrible. The drinks not worth the harrasment. Im good. Im sure they wont miss me and my business but I promise me and all the people I can refer to this resturant/bar wont miss them. Its so sad when women of color cant go out without being targeted as the non paying women that want free drinks but it is what it is.
Their food is delicious and the right amount as well.I love the option to build my own burger, especially on Wednesdays!Their fries is really good, it comes with rosemary and Parmesan! The red aioli sauce is also a favorite ☺️
They advertise $5 Burger night. The menu has on the top of it $3 extra for Salmon. Somehow they charge $12 for the salmon. In my mind 3 + 5 = 8. They charged my friend full price for an appetizer during half off happy hour. Not to happy will never go back.
Great place to watch the game with a good drink. Also a great place to eat. The food here will surprise you. Has a cool outdoor area that has a service bar and smokers are welcome. You will find some great bands playing regularly.
The games over at the arcade are all overpriced, and they took out over half the games to make more room for bar seating. The band when I was there sounded drunker then the patrons, and was covering up their poor performance with sheer volume.
The paper backing was still stuck to the cheese on my burger. The fries were too soggy, but everything tasted good. The bartender was nice and gave me 25% off of my burger, but in reality I dont think Ill go back for food.
We went for the Sunday brunch buffet and it was very good. There was a lot of food choices and everything tasted great. My only complaint is that some items werent as hot as they could have been. Other than that the service and experience was great, we will be back for sure!
I believe THURS now.. $6 Burgers & $6 Delish Martinis! WOW! What a deal! BANDS weekly! Call Bar 145 Monroe St. Toledo!
This was my first time there and I only went because I had to pick up a door dash order BUT I will be returning for my own entertainment. I liked the vibe of the atmosphere. They also had a lice DJ playing great music. Looking forward to trying thr food.
1st the sprite was flat2nd childs grilled cheese was rock hard had to send it back3rd my fries ice cold4th burger was good but only warm not hot.5th soup had no spoon had to go ask for a spoon after it sat at the table for over 20min waiting on her to come back
One of the best burgers Ive eaten yet. I got the grilled cheese burger and it was phenomenally delicious. The flavor was all there and will be back for sure. Customer service was excellent even with how packed the place was.
More of a casual place than I thought before going there. Only had appatizers, but they were very good. Around 10 p.m. they clear out a bunch of tables to create a dance floor for the live band. They have a different one each week. Other than losing our table when the band came on it was a fun time.
Amazing food, especially, their custom made hamburgers! And yes, they do have custom seafood and vegan option sandwiches too!At 9p or so, it turns from a modern gastro pub restaurant to a hip popular bar / dance venue. They are known to have very good cover bands on the weekends & during the week top 40 dance music with the crowd ranging from 21 - 35 years old. There is no cover during the week, but I think its $5 in the weekend at night. Super fun place and great atmosphere, especially for a bachelor or bachelorette party!
We enjoyed the pretzel bites and five different types of burgers, including vegetarian burger. Presentation is great, taste is awesome and beer selection was good. The Sriracha fries were fantastic!!!!
Severely understaffed last Saturday afternoon. Had one bartender, the manager was cooking, and they stopped taking food orders. When fully staffed they are spot on! Suggestion...let the wait staff get their own drinks when understaffed as long as theyre of age to do so.
I went there using a Groupon and I really enjoyed it. The lunch menu had some great choices on it and it was hard to choose what to eat. The Scottish egg was better than advertised. I decided to make my own burger and it was deliciously made. Never had duck confit on a burger but at bar 145, why not. The meatloaf is tempting, so is the chicken and waffles. Like I said so many choices I wish I could eat them all at once but Ill have to make multiple visits. I went during lunch while the NCAA conference tournaments were on and the atmosphere was good. They have bands that play to. I didnt experience it on this visit but theyll probably do that right to.
Was recommended by a friend. We arrived no mask required, awesome. We had Miranda as our server. Very knowledgeable. We sat outside in between buildings which was very comfortable. Good ambiance. Good place to hang out for good conversations. I must say you forgot where you were because of the niche that was created there. My expectation level was heightened. Then came Miranda with the menus, beer and drink menus. And the list of what they were out of. 2-3 appetizers, a slew of beers, and a few entrees. Now side note this was not Mirandas fault but that of the owners and or chef. Not appropriate ordering. Are not able to maintain or anticipate customer/guest levels.I wanted to walk out right there. But my sweetie and son were there so I decided to make the best of it. Ordered an Old Fashion. Classic cocktail. One should know how to make an Old Fashion. What I got was more of a Shirley Temple. No Luxardo cherry (if you had one you know what I mean), and a orange peel essence of orange. Instead I got 2 maraschino cherries and an orange wedge. It looked like a Shirley Temple.Next the appetizer Maple Bacon Mac. Watery as hell, it reminded me of the movie Elf. When Elf made dinner. Pasta with maple syrup. No flavor of the cheese just a watery yellow syrup. Probably not even 1/2 bacon strip in the whole thing. Dinner, Ordered Ghost burger for my son and me the classic Patty Melt. The burgers alone are $12-13 with no sides? These must be great burgers.Waited awhile. 35 minutes. They finally arrived. First, my Patty Melt bread was semi soft and looked like it was in the toaster. The sandwich was cut in half and the meat was stacked on top of one another so I thought it was 1/2 of a sandwich. Expediter/chefs presentation. No garnishment to make the burger more colorful? Yes for an additional fee you can order a side. Making your burger and side up to $20. The mouth feel of the Patty melt was not exciting like a crunch from the bread. No piping hot caramelized onions and mushrooms with their bourbon sauce. Not worth $12. Not worth $5. Ate 1/2.My son got the Ghost burger. He said it was ok. Now my son is by no means a expert but when he says Dad, your burgers are the bomb that sums it up right there. My burgers are Hickory smoked or Cherry wood smoked. He said the best thing of his burger was the pretzel bun. Gentleman that is saying something. No dessert. Just the check. Gave Miranda a good tip. BUT we wont be back. You did not have 1/3 of your menu. Miranda did her job of suggesting good apps but you were 86 on buffalo chicken dip, fried green beans, 1# bacon. A black line though them would have sent guests away. Maybe you need to get your ordering supplies down, as when guests come back you will have them on hand. Or they may read this and say...Hey lets go somewhere else.Cause when I spend my HARD EARNED money from work. I EXPECT more like a full menu, Adult drinks not a Shirley Temple, and melt in your mouth burgers. Otherwise your guest should go to Dales in Maumee. Or Bergers Bar and Grill on Laskey both places serve up a superb burger and no additional cost for a side. Also I wont slight my friend, Ill just give him one of my burgers.
Its great if you love spicy stuff get the ghost burger 10/10
The Jefferson Manhattan and the pear martini were horrible! The jalapeno popper, lacked flavor other than burnt breadcrumbs. The one thing that kind of saved the visit was the burgers and fries. Burger and fries were very good.
Connected to a retro video arcade that allows children until 7PM. Games are free, food is excellent, and beer menu is wide ranging. A little pricy for a burger, but well worth it. One of my favorite Toledo restaurants.
Food is a bit pricey but delicious, drinks not too bad. The RESET addition is where its at, though it is frustrating to some that you have to pay for pinball when all the rest of the games are free. Their beer wall is an interesting concept, but of the 10 choices, 2 were Budweiser and 2 were empty. Still 4 stars because I do quite enjoy the place!
Absolutely disappointing experience.I had high hopes for Bar 145/Reset, as someone who grew up playing in arcades I was excited by the prospect of replaying favorite classics in a bar environment. Reset had many great games, however many of the side scroller brawlers (X-Men and Simpsons) had broken controls making enjoyable game play impossible.Even though some of the games had problems it is something that I can look past, what I cannot understand however was the horrible customer service. My friends and I experienced problems with the self serve draft taps. First the card stopped working when there was still $6.07 remaining balance, then after loading another $20 onto the card it did not show the updated amount. Having to consult the bar tender three times to fix a problem was a time consuming process. When we eventually got a table I placed an order for a cup of chili and a burger as well as a glass of water. While waiting approximately forty minutes for my cup of chili I asked the waitress two times for my undelivered glass of water. After finally receiving our meals around the fifty minute mark I reminded the waitress for a third time that I was still waiting on a cup of water. Fifteen minutes into my meal I finally received my requested water. Never have I seen such poor service at a burger restaurant.
Just had drinks. Awesome service
Cute eatery, nice drink menu, and good food. Neither me nor the wife got full from a burger and a side, so Id reccomend a appetizer first if you dont want to leave hungry.
Food was good but the service was terrible. We sat at the bar while we waited for our table and the bartender was not friendly or welcoming. I ordered a Bloody Mary and it was so awful that I had to send it back. When we were called to our table our waitress did not even say hi, she immediately asked if we were ready to order. Our waitress continued to do the minimum and never followed up with us, we literally had to ask her for everything. Terrible. Do not recommend eating in.
Double Charge on my card days after we went wasnt even the same amount wont be returning not worth it.
Arrived at the restaurant around 11:30 am with a reservation for a party of 10. There was only one server and 3 tables around that time. Ordered drinks and food. Drinks arrived, by 1:15 pm food was still not there. Asked for manager, which never came to table and requested checks for an over 1 hour wait for food while everyone one around us ate, drank and left. Very disappointed, came for a birthday, waited 2 hours will not be back.
Had to change my rating from 5 stars to 1 star. Tried to get a burger at 1pm today (Sunday). I could not hear anything over really loud, not good, house music. There was some sort of brunch buffet taking up a lot of room in the middle of the restaurant. To wait for a table, we had to press ourselves against the door because the buffet took up so much room. My boyfriend had to talk to the hostess because I couldnt hear a word she was saying. Might not come back here anymore.
First time there, attended to watch a band play (Sir Cadian). The food was great (chicken tenders with truffle fries #chefskiss) and the staff was as pleasant and polite as could be! Will be coming back!
I would go here for drinks, maybe. The price made me think the food was going to be a lot better than it actually was. It was edible, well some of it was alright. My first drink was disgusting but I went back for a basic margarita, they managed to make that right. I wouldnt recommend this place, to be honest, and I dont say that often. Its just not worth the price.
Good Times First time there, great food atmosphere and service. Don our server was fantastic to put up with us. Missed a beer I wanted, was assured the next time I come in it will be available, well see.
This was my first time ever here, and I will never go back again. The Acoustics are awful the music was loud, you couldnt hear the person next to you talk .The wait staff was polite and friendly but over worked and under staffed on the floor. The food is way over priced for what you receive. They wouldnt even let me substitute the greasy french fries for a side salad . I told them that Im trying to watch my weight. They said you will have to pay full price for the side salad$3.99 and $12.99 for the burger minus the fries. $1.99 for a diet pepsi plus a tip for a total of $22.76 . I said no thank you what a rip off. I got a diet Pepsi and a cup of soupfor $ 5.00 and left. One can go to Wendys or Burger King order a Tripple stacked with toppings get a large fries and Coke for half of the price.
Trendy restaurant on Monroe street. This restaurant struggles with inconsistency. The make your own burgers are quite good with loads of items that you can order to make a burger to your taste. My wife used to like the truffle fries but the chef changed the fries to a different style. And she used to like the tempura fried green beans, which came with a sweet chili dipping sauce. But now they dump the sauce right onto the fried green beans which makes the crunchy tempura batter all soggy. Bar 145 also has some good mixed drinks and a pretty good selection of beers; craft and domestic.
Highly recommended! Despite what people may say about Toledo, there is really some great food here outside of the national chains which I tend to avoid. Bar 145 is an excellent addition to the Toledo dining tradition. I have loved everything Ive ever ordered from this favorite burger joint (ok, so Ive never ordered anything BUT a burger). The on menu selection changes, but Ive enjoyed every one of those in addition to my build-your-own creations. The sides are also wonderful (truffle fries, Brussels sprouts, green bean fries, wow!) I would definitely recommend Bar 145 over the competitor down the street.
Greeted with a smile, told there was a short wait. It was worth it! The food is delicious and I recieved great service. The wait staff kept my drink refilled and made sure I was happy. ILL BE BACK!!!
Since switching chefs, there have been small changes to the menu that are not, in my opinion, pleasant ones. The truffle fries and black bean burger used to be my favorite and since the change, the fries and aioli dipping sauce have a completely different taste to them. The fries arent even the same type of fry. I didnt find it appetizing at all. Ill pass on the food and mixed drinks but I will go for the beer, atmosphere and live music.
Truffle fries were very good. Burgers are pretty good, high quality, decent for price. Loud bar, disappointed they removed the self serve beer taps.
Very slow service both times Ive been there. There were only a few other tables in the restaurant with customers and we still waited 45 minutes. The fish was not cooked all the way so it was slimy and gooey inside. Left hungry. The burgers are okay but nothing to write home about.
Frist time trying and very last...service was ok..but the $18.00 berger was the worst..we, ask for med-well and got this..cooked raw..frys were soggy...get better at McDonalds at least there cooked and bigger
Awesome sliders. The only drawback was once the band starts is hard to find a waitress. Almost had to leave without paying the bill cuz nobody could find our waitress especially the manager
I met friends from out of town today and they loved everything about Bar145. From the ambiance, the cauliflower steak, the Caprese Turkey burger, Grilled Cheese/Tomato Bisque to our server Sage, everything was exactly the way you would want first time visitors to experience. They(and I) will definitely be back.
Good atmosphere, and good food. Reasonably priced and fun place to hang out. The old school video arcade thats attached to it is pretty fun too and brings back some memories of my youth.
Awesome! Food was amazing. Had burger with all the fixings, onion straws (which are to die for!) and gouda mac. A little pricey for a burger, but def yummy. Went on a random evening during the week and it was pretty laid back.
Ordered 2 old fashioned drinks, they were very watered down, considering the drink itself is almost all whiskey it is pretty easy to tell when it is watered down. Ordered the loaded pub chips and they came out room temperature! Ive been in here before and it didnt used to be like this, not sure what happened but I wont be going back.
The food is high priced. To be honest the Burger quality has changed and I wouldnt pay half the price for that quality of burger. The cooks messed up 2 out of 3 burgers at my table. If these high prices and low quality continue, the doors will be closing soon.
Ive been there a couple of times before, unfortunately the quality has slipped quite a bit.The service was fine but our server should had noticed my open faced chicken sandwich was dry and charred, the bun it was served on noticeably burned. The fries were also burned and cold. The burger was just o.k. $28.00 + ($5 tip)= $33 for 2 sandwiches a beer, soda and 1 fry. 100s of other places in Toledo to go to.Dont bother.
I have went here now twice. Servers talk to much amongst themselves. EAT and do not wash hands. Our food both times took over a half hour. Our server was barely qualified or dressed. Now that I have seen how you let your employees dress for Halloween, as a black person, we will never be back. I am telling everyone that will listen.
2nd visit to Bar145/Reset. First one was pretty good. Cool concept with the arcade games. Burger was decent. 2nd visit was less impressive. Small portion on Mac and cheese. Avocados wasn’t ripe. And I’m pretty sure I was overcharged on a couple items. Might or might not come back.
