Downtown country bar, good lighting, loud music, lots of space to dance.The workers definitely gave the impression they would rather be doing anything else; no eye contact, completely detached and monotone speech as if reading from a script. Didnt hamper the experience though.Not my thing, but a nice place for their target demographic.

We were headed from Denver to Tennessee and drove through Tulsa around 9 pm and stopped here to dance a bit before getting back on the road. What a nice surprise! Great dance floor with a variety of music, mostly country. DJ was great and played some requests for us. Hope to come back sometime.

Had a blast and the employees, specifically Tate were absolutely amazing and so polite and so fun! We definitely will be returning, so much better than other country bars in Tulsa! You can definitely tell that the employees enjoy their job and that’s all you can ask for if customer service!!!!

Overall if the country/top 40 Hip-Hop dance scene is what you’re looking for, this would be the place! Plenty of bars to choose from, prices seemed reasonable for the drinks. Dance floor does get packed once the people get enough alcohol in them. Staff were courteous and very professional. Security staff wander and patrol frequently throughout the club. They even assist in cleaning up the small tabletop area surrounding the dance floor with small trash cans to help prevent spills. They don’t allow drinks or food to make it into the dance floor, and if it does happen, they quickly intercept and get the person off the floor before an accident can occur. Unfortunately this was my first time there, and I don’t do the greatest with packed crowds. Women galore! All there to have a great time and kick their heels up a little. Great DJ and he kept the dance floor moving with music non-stop.

Im at Whiskey 918 every Friday and its my favorite bar to go to! The bartenders are great and the bouncers are amazing! The shot girl that is typically there when Im there is great! Its a fun atmosphere and Ive made new friends and have a group of girls that I have met from there and we always meet up there for Ladies Night!

This is the only country club I enjoy. It’s super fun and the bouncers are always really kind. The bartenders are sweet too. I just suggest pre gaming because I got 2 shots, and it was 14 dollars. The only downside is the overpriced drinks.

Very enjoyable place! Great atmosphere! My grandkids brought me out so I could dance! Lovely bartenders cover only $5 door girl was very sweet and respectful. Security was very alert with the surroundings of the bar.

I dont know why Whiskey 918 gets so many bad reviews. My friends took me there for my 30th birthday and we had a blast. I am not at all a bar/dance hall type of a person (literally had never been out to a bar or dancing before this) so I wasnt expecting to have such a great time, but now I cant wait to go back again! Tons of couples who really know how to dance, so just people watching was very entertaining. The staff was friendly and chill, bathrooms were clean, and drinks were delicious. The crowd was also great and wasnt even rude when we got in the way on the dance floor because I didnt know the line dances yet. Friendly patrons, I even had one girl come and sit with me while my friends were out smoking until they came back because she was worried about me being alone. All around great place for a great time! Dont know if we just got lucky and it was an exceptionally good night or if theyve just gotten their act together more recently, but based on my experience I would highly recommend this place!!!!!!!

I expect most bars in downtown Tulsa to have professional standards and operate their businesses in that manner.My experience at Whiskey 918 was one of the worst times of my life. I currently have an expired license, so I bring my passport with me (which I obtained when I was 16, thus I look a little bit different now that I’m 21) so that I have a valid identification when I go to a bar.After presenting my passport, I was told that I look nothing like my picture, which I said “yeah it was taken when I was 17.” Not only did I verify all the information on my passport verbatim, I told them the exact airport stamp that would be on the following page.After they still kept saying that I wasn’t the person on my passport, I presented my expired drivers license to backup my passport. Once again they said I wasn’t who I said I was. I presented a valid University ID that shows my birthdate and everything.Several of my friends came out that they had let in to tell the bouncers that I looked like the person in my picture.In conclusion, I found that they weren’t going to let me in because of my flamboyant personality that went against the bouncers “morals.”Not a fan of a place that doesn’t treat people equally.

Came for the first time had a great time great dance floor! Great drinks everyone was friendly including security. Will definitely come by again

DJ is not open to request, I travel for dancing and line dancing.. when you play the same line dances over and not introduce new things, tends to get boring.. definitely not worth your time if you want to line dance but ok if you want to partner dance… I know my review doesn’t mean anything but maybe will help some other line dancer out.

Good place for dancing and people watching with friends. Lots going on and fair drink specials. Was beach night so lots of weirdness to be had. Not your usual out of control bar, but still good fun.

Cover charge every time its open. Where do you think you are... this is Oklahoma and you want me to pay $5 to get into a lame bar. No thanks. When you enter, its decently dirty and the crowd is nothing to get excited about. Just not my cup of tea. $5 for an icky country time

Whiskey 918 was an enjoyable place to attend. I found the honkytonk to be clean with clean restrooms. Pool sticks were in very poor condition. The music was mostly good for dancing. Bouncers were chill. The quality of this honkytonk really just shows how much of an absolute trash heap Rodeo is.

THIS PLACE! Ive never had a worse evening out in Tulsa then one that started here. Im totally unwilling to pay a cover anywhere in Tulsa when the Brady District is full of rad bars making killer drinks with no cover. Beer here isnt cheap. Two-stepping is a super fun thing and Ive never encountered such a horrendous atmosphere at a dancing locale. When I walked in I immediately witnessed a girl being unwantingly groped; this can happen anywhere, it just seems a heck of a lot more likely to happen here.

Stumbled slightly one time after entering for $, hadnt spoke to anyone, hadnt even got to the bar yet, and I was walked out. 0/5 wont be coming back.

Fun place to go, great drinks, took care of business & got all customers inside as quick as the storm hit last weekend. Impressive.
