Helen was so sweet and accommodating when I called to book a couple massage . I even added on hot stones once we got there and made no issues of accommodating that . I had Lyly and she made sure her pressure was just right for me it was just what I needed a heavenly relaxing massage , my partner got Oscar and he was impressed how he would find sore muscles and truly work them out “hubby does jujitsu “ he was very happy and asked when are we coming back ! lol for the last four years I’ve lived here. I have struggled to find a good massage place to go to. I am a hairdresser and I have a lot of bodyaches and pains. I was recommended this place by a really good friend of mine and I’m so glad we booked my experience was exactly what I’ve been searching for. my massage artist, also playing receptionist, and in the middle of my paid massage she would stop to go greet a walk-in customer as a small business owner. I completely get it but as a paying customer, I just don’t think it’s fair. That was not the case at this location they had Helen upfront greeting you and checking you out as well as making your appointments so the massage artist can truly give you what you deserve 12 out of 10 highly recommend thank you everyone who works here. I recently had an amazing one-hour massage with my husband at Relax and Wellness. The experience was exceptional from start to finish. Despite the language barrier, my masseuse was incredibly understanding and adaptable, easily adjusting the pressure to suit our preferences. She was not only professional but also made me feel very comfortable throughout the session. We left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and we are definitely looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!

I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Bella today. This was the absolute BEST deep tissue massage! I get knots and severe muscle tension with spasms since my back injury. I frequently get massages and they do not compare to the massage today. She was incredibly strong and I never had to ask her to rub harder or change anything. She took great care of me, was friendly, and knew exactly what I needed. The hot stones felt wonderful! I wasnt going to do them at first since many places just rub your back with them a little and then just lay them on your back. She used them to really work the muscles on my entire back and moved so quickly, it never got too hot. The staff here was great and the facility was very clean. I will definitely be a returning customer!

Had a scheduling issue, they called us right back even though it was after close when we left our message. They got us in earlier than we had scheduled, which worked out great for us. My boyfriend and I got couples massages, they made sure with both of us if the pressure was okay, if hot stones were okay, and were super kind throughout the experience. Another massage place in Vancouver sent me to the hospital and one in Spokane gave me pink eye, so I was very worried about getting another massage, but third times a charm. Will continue to go back, super happy with the service and no medical problems this time!

Took my mom here for her birthday, she really enjoyed her massage + hot stones. In fact she said it was the best massage she has received in a while and all of her pressure points were focused on that needee attention. The receptionist was really nice and they offered me water while I was waiting. They have real plants everywhere which made the environment feel cozy. We will be back.

Helen has the hands and elbows of a god! She really knows how to naturally find all the tight areas without you even saying anything. She also reads the room. If Im quiet she is quiet. If Im chatty then she is chatty. This place is professional and respectful. Any bad reviews ive seen on here do not match when I actually go into the studio. I read a review about a lady choosing not to tip because she wasnt happy with a service but the therapists that work there work their butts off and most are doing deep tissue all day. they are providing a service and deserve to be tipped for their time and efforts! I highly recommend this studio and especially Helen!

I’m visiting the area and wanted a good deep tissue massage for some tight muscles. This was definitely the right choice. The masseuse did such a good job and had great firm pressure to get into my problem spots.

Just had my 2nd massage here! I’ve tried maybe 6 places around Portland and haven’t found one I’ve consistently liked until Relax & Wellness! They have pretty good availability and hours and it’s a pretty good massage at a reasonable rate. I’ll be back!

We got a couples massage for my husbands birthday.. staff was all very nice, place was clean. And I loved my massage she got the deep knots out of my hip/thighs

Staff is friendly and professional. Highly recommend their massage services. I’ve gone to several businesses and hands down this was the best! I received great quality care and do plan on returning and making this my new spot. And I certainly appreciate that their products are non-scented, I suffer from allergies and have sensitive skin.

My boyfriend and I bought the 90 minute couples massage here, and had high hopes based on the length of the massage that it would be very thorough and awesome.The massage itself was so-so. The language barrier was substantial enough that they didnt understand requests for slight changes. We accepted the massage as it was after trying to improve things by asking for what we needed, but certainly did not feel like we got our moneys worth from this experience.As we were just heading out the door, one of the ladies stopped us and told us to tip them. I would normally tip for an enjoyable experience, but this was not one, so did not plan to tip. However, my partner had already gone out the door, and another staff person came out from the back, and pressured me to tip for both my boyfriend and I to the point I did not feel safe leaving without tipping, as they seemed like it might have started a confrontation.I wanted to give a good review as a language barrier itself is not reason enough for a negative rating, but this last part really wrecked any relaxation we got from the massage itself. The star rating is almost entirely based off of the tipping situation at the end.If any staff members read this; it might be that you dont fully understand what tipping is in US culture. Tipping is meant to be a show of gratitude for really good service, and it is customary not to tip if the service isnt good. The tip amount is supposed to be a sliding amount based on the service quality, not a set amount like you have on your clipboard.That being said, regardless of understanding tipping culture or not it is never okay to intimidate someone into doing anything (with the potential exception of stealing, but you take pre-payment for your services so that isnt applicable in this case).

The location feels clean and calming, and the people doing the massage made sure to ask how hard we wanted our massage pressure, so that was good.My partner and I went for the 90 minute couples massage as an anniversary gift to ourselves. We were expecting a very thorough and satisfying massage based on the time. However, when we asked for more attention to my problem areas, I dont think they understood. They acknowledged my requests, but did not change what they were doing, and mostly missed important areas such as my feet. I was also hoping for some kind of scented massage oil, but no such luck.I enjoyed it for what it was, and accepted that this was not going to be the experience we hoped for. The real issue came when we were ready to leave. After this very marginal experience, they were bold enough to stop us on our way out and tell us to tip them.Not a chance. I said no, we are not going to be tipping you and walked out the door, expecting my partner to follow. However, she did not. Additional people came out from the back right as I left, and my partner did not feel safe with how confrontational they acted, and tipped them to avoid things escalating. They did not further confront me about my lack of tipping.This entitlement to tips regardless of the experience has gone much too far. :(

I had a wonderful prenatal massage. My body was super tight in the beginning and afterwards o felt so relax. I’ll definitely be returning in the future. Couldn’t speak more highly of the staff. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed and were very communicative throughout the entire massage. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice massage.

My boyfriend and I went in for a 90 minute deep tissue hot stone massage with CBD oil as they were having a Valentine’s special. We had just had a bad experience at another business and were hoping for some much needed pain and stress relief, and I cannot explain in enough detail how incredible our experience was here. We both requested firm pressure, and each of our masseurs did just that. They were very responsive to any adjustments we asked for, and took extreme care of every single muscle, even the scalp! I have chronic pain and after this, I feel like I am walking on air. The receptionist was also incredibly kind and very welcoming. The experience was 10/10 all the way around. We both agree that this was hands down the best massage we’ve ever had and we will absolutely be returning. Thank you!!!

Massage was okay/good whenI went to pay I left a tip. The front desk lady told me the tip wasn’t enough and that we should be tipping more. I felt my tip was reasonable for how the massage went. This was very insulting. They do not know how much i make or if I’d be able to afford a tip. Tipping is an option which I DID. But to ask for more money after already tipping is incredibly rude.

10/10! So good, I cried! Twice! Masseuse worked my back like clay in a potters hands. Like painting a picture. Life-changing!Will absolutely go here again.

The massage was a gift from my son. I was apprehensive at first, due to not knowing the masseuse or the establishment. What can I say? The masseuse was excellent and so caring and the receptionist was very friendly and made me feel welcome. I highly recommend this place and will be back.

Ive been searching for a massage therapist for over 3 months. I was scheduled with Oscar but he was out and Helen was a fill-in. Helen was AMAZING! she hit all my tight spots and her pressure was very effective. I felt so much better afterwards I rebooked with her again next month! The place was welcoming and comfortable. Front desk lady very nice.

Truly best massage ever, will be returning. Staff is very tentative. And it’s great that they accommodate past the usual business so I can go after work.

Mike gave a fantastic deep tissue massage, I went in with a bunch of knots in my shoulders and upper back and had a pinched nerve in my neck. I walked out feeling much better! Will be coming back.

I got a gift card as a birthday present and Im so glad that I went. The place was so very peaceful and relaxed, and the masseuse was very good at getting all of my knots out. She was very attentive to my comfort levels and left me feeling so very relaxed. And this was for my first massage ever.Id happily go again.

I had my first massage in years there today after some knots had developed in my back from work. They asked about any injuries or places that needed either extra care or not to be touched, and were very considerate about how much pressure to use, also while reading my breathing and sounds for indications of possible pain.Helen is very skilled and effective at her work and quickly found the tight spots and some others that I didnt know were there until she smoothed them out.This was also the first time Ive experienced a hot stone massage and it felt like a really good hot shower as far as the temp of the stones, although Im surprised she could hold them like she did while moving them around my back, because thats pretty warm (but good).I will look forward to going back for another session sometime. Very kind staff and a very calming, peaceful environment with easy lighting and nice music. Their rates seem to be more affordable than some other clinics in the area, even though this staff showed to be quite skilled and experienced.

This place was amazing! Not only did I find an appointment last min on a Friday afternoon, but I was able to get a 1 hr massage and a 30 min foot reflexology service. The person who worked with me was attentive, took directions perfectly and worked hard to make me feel better. This isnt the usual type of spas I frequent but it was the only one that could get me in with 2 hours notice. They have a new customer as of now, I will definitely be going back!

Went in for a couples massage for my boyfriends birthday and it was really nice. We both felt great afterwards. The atmosphere was calm and comforting. All of the staff were very friendly and inviting. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a massage.

I booked a massage for today online late last night because I was in a ton of pain and fairly desperate. I figured even a bad massage would help, so I wasn’t feeling super picky.But man I was blown away! I love Asian style massage over Swedish/spa style. They seem to be more effective for my body pain. Sometimes there can be a language barrier but I loved the system in place here. They had a receptionist who asked me all sorts of questions, they type of pressure, what areas I’d like to focus on, what areas I’d prefer to stay away from etc. all that was communicated to my practitioner Helen so during my massage I could just relax and she did such an amazing massage! She regularly checked in if the pressure was okay so I could adjust it as needed.The whole business was super clean. The bathroom and waiting area are very cute. The room itself was very dim with nice music.Love it! I will definitely be back. A walk in style place that also does online booking is such a plus!

Best massage Ive gotten in YEARSThis spa is the real deal. My massage therapist did an incredible job and I can honestly say this is the best massage Ive received in years. She made sure to ask how I like the pressure and adjusted until it was just right (hint: I seek DEEP tissue massage). I have a lot of knots in my shoulders and lower back and she found every one of them and took extra time to work them out. The full body 90 minute massage was absolutely worth their low price and then some.The environment was relaxing, with calming music and dimmed lights. The receptionist was very kind and a joy to interact with.I will definitely be returning next month. Just had an awesome 90 min. deep tissue massage from Helen! She has firm pressure and asked you a few times at the beginning to make sure its just right. She worked out all my knots and I had a few back and toe cracks too.The place is clean and quiet with relaxing music playing in the background. The massage table is heated (which I appreciate since Im often cold). The overall atmosphere is very relaxing.Highly recommend!

I booked the 90 minute body and foot massage. This was amazing! I can’t say enough nice things about this place! I took a wrong turn and ended up 10 minutes late so when I called they said it was ok and they didn’t deduct it from my time with the masseuse. They helped me so much! I just did the Portland to Coast yesterday so I was extremely painful in multiple areas on my body and this got me mostly back to my normal self. They even gave me $10 off at checkout for being a new client. I will be back many many times in the future and I will be referring anyone I know to them. The masseuse understood it was my first massage and asked me if I was ok at multiple points in my massage. This place is great!

I am very pleased with the overall experience of my massage. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff is very professional. My massage therapists Helen maintained an open communication during the entire massage ensuring that the pressure was to my liking and addressing any areas of concern. Went in yesterday for a 60 min foot massage. It was perfect. The chairs are super comfortable and my massage tech gave me extra pillows to rest my arms on (which I’ve never had anyone do before). Started off with an arm/hand massage, which I feel like most people sleep on, but this was legit. Pressure was perfect, like he was actually trying to release the tension in my hands, which most other techs don’t do. I use my hands a lot, so that was a bonus. Foot massage was also great. Perfect pressure throughout (they ask what you prefer for pressure in the beginning). I need to go back for a body massage to even it out now haha

I had a 90 minute massage with Luna and she was amazing. I let her know where I had been experiencing pain and she focused on those areas for me. She also found tight spots on her own and helped relieve a great deal of pain. The pressure was perfect and she checked in to make sure I was comfortable. She showed a great deal of knowledge and experience and I booked another appointment with her for the future. The spa is warm, inviting, and clean and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend.

Went in because I was feeling terrible. Had a stiff back , left side was hurting terribly, and had no appointment. Receptionist was a delight helped me right away, I felt welcomed, was easy, they got me in quick, and Helen made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. All in all they say a fantastic job I will most definitely be coming back! It was well worth the money .

The masseuse focused on the areas that were bothering me the most & im a little sore the day after, but feeling much more relaxed and less stressed than I have in months! Helen is an excellent massage therapist. I have been getting massages from well established franchise chains for 20 years, none are as good as what I have received from Helen. I have gotten three from Helen over a 6 week period, I just made an appointment for a fourth session. Highly recommended!

We both felt relaxed and so refreshed afterwards, especially because each massage therapist worked on areas that we were really tense in. Apparently I even knocked out and started snoring?! As someone who doesn’t really snore that should say enough.The staff were very friendly and doing everything they can to create a relaxing and safe environment during these pandemic times. Great place for a massage.The lady who gave me the massage found several newer knots, besides the old ones I’ve already know. A bit painful to work on them, but it’s definitely worth it!I had a immediate relief from the stress and feel more balanced on my back.They have great knowledge about muscle system and bone structure, and will point out the spots that needs extra attention.

I purchased a Groupon for a 90min. Deep tissue, hot stone and cbd oil massage. My masseuse Helen was so skilled and knowledgeable in her therapeutic skills. I indicated my problem areas and she made sure to give special care to these areas while not taking away from the whole body treatment. The establishment was very clean and comfortable. I have neck and back issues and very stubborn muscles which she was able to relax and open lines of circulation. It us jot easy to find a good masseuse who understands the body as a whole. I will be returning.

The masseuse was very professional and receptive to my aches and pains. My husband and I feel so revived since recieving my massage. I would recommend going here to anyone who wants to relax. I suffer from chronic pain due to work. Helen not only found all the aches I knew about, but showed me a new one too. She is really good at reading your body. It was a deep tissue massage and I went thru some pain during the process, but days later I felt great!

They catered to our every need and did a thorough complete body massage including face, scalp and feet. Helen and Anna were so talented. The 90 mins flew by and we were left feeling rejuvenated and filled with bliss. They are relatively new business and they kindly asked for our review, so here it is. Love this place. I have been here twice for a couples message. First time took my friend with me and she was instantly hook. This time with my husband. They are great at making sure you are not exposing yourself and they care a lot about how you feel throughout the message. Making sure pressure isn’t too much or if there is areas you want them to focus on. Hands down will be coming back soon.

Bad customer service. Purchased a Groupon and scheduled. They were open for over 1 hour before I arrived to my appointment time and yet didnt have the decency to call me before I drove 10 miles one way to tell me their thai therapist wasnt there today. Will never return solely for wasting my time and not even a single apology from them. Instead the front girl tries to blame me for booking late and said it was because of that. When I questioned why they were open over 1 hour and didnt bother to call me she just said you have to call.

My husband and I purchased a couples massage here, and unfortunately it was the most uncomfortable and unprofessional experience. The massage therapists seemed to have little to no experience, and did not listen to requests made during the massage. They did not ask is anything prior to starting, and massaged places we left uncomfortable with. The room was also freezing, and it was impossible to relax.When leaving, we were hounded to tip and despite us saying no they persisted and insisted on a reason why.All together, we left very uncomfortable and are unsure if they are shady things going on in the background.

This was my first massage ever, I did a couples massage with my girlfriend and it was awesome! The masseuse got in there with her elbows and went to town. I felt like a spineless sack of meat when it was over, I was a limp puddle the whole car ride home. It was fantastic and I will definitely be going again!

This was my first time here and upon walking the first thing I noticed was the smell. It smelled weird but I had received a gift certificate and had added 30 mins, there was no turning back at this point. Since I had read some other reviews, I decided to stay. I am on my feet 8+ hrs a day and had been waiting all week for this appointment. I dont even know the ladies name who did my service because she did not introduce herself.There was no offering of tea or water. She was also sniffling the whole time, which made it hard to relax. And when she would step out to she sneeze a few times. If your going to have your employees still work even if its just the sniffles they should at least wear a mask. And get some air freshener.I proceeded to let her know the spot that would need more attention and requested some extra pressure in those points. There was extremely light pressure. She essentially just rubbed oil on my feet and legs, and smacked them a few times at the end. Upon paying before I even had a chance to sign on the pad I was asked to give a tip. Then when I did not put a tip on the tablet, I was asked again if I was going to leave a cash tip!Not how was your service or anything. Until after they realized I was not leaving a tip. When I said no I was not satisfied. There was an awakward few second silence. Then an oh Im sorry... so no tip then, Ill let her know. The crazy part I was going to leave her something anyway but then to be asked for it made me more annoyed then I already was. $70 dollars for an hour massage that relieved none of the aches it was meant too. Honestly wish they would jst refund me my money. Cause I do not plan on returning.

I came here after a stressful two weeks of moving in to a new house and dealing with other personal stresses and this totally chilled me out! Helen (Li Yuan) was absolutely amazing and was able to work areas of tension that had been building for months. No issues with booking an appointment and she accepted credit card payments as well. I cant wait to go back!

Really wanted to leave a great review, I’m sure this establishment is good. Unfortunately, I won’t experience it.I purchased on Groupon two 60 minute massages as, at the time, I had overlooked the couples massage package. I called and spoke to a madame there and asked if I’d be able to use the two vouchers together or book appointments back to back. For the record, I’m new to using Groupon, so I wanted to make sure everything was set.The woman kept telling me to book online, and this I know was not an option when I purchased the Groupon as I revisited the page with her on the phone, it didn’t give me the option at the time. Their website was an option but per instruction with Groupon you’re suppose to call and give the voucher code. The woman kept repeating to book online, but wouldn’t book me on the phone. Then, she asked me for the voucher code, which means I had to open the voucher and render it non-refundable. I asked for their next Saturday availability and was told they don’t do massages on Saturday, or maybe just don’t honor Groupons then(with my work schedule a weekday appointment is not possible). So now I have $200 in Groupon credits.I’m sure this place does a good job on massages, but I can’t say I’ll be in for one after this experience. It may be in their best interest to have a set plan for Groupon and leave clear instructions, including if Groupons are not taken on specific days.

A very clean and professional space. The masseuse was highly skilled and worked on some chronic problem areas with expertise and care. I believe theyre new to this location at least but if they keep this level of care up they well be extremely successful.
