The Gig at Turning Stone Resort Casino

I went with my wife and a couple of her friends to see a live band. The live band was great and played modern music as well as older music. The night was going okay up until one of the bouncers decided that he was going to go around telling people how they can and cannot dance. I witnessed the bouncer walk up to another couple. And tell the woman she could not grind on her partner. Grinding and dancing to good music is the whole point of listening to a band and having fun. Because of how much fun these two people were having it brought other people to the dance floor and it allowed me and my wife to drop our guards and start dancing. But after the bouncer embarrassed her and addressed her in such a way they left. Me and my wife did not know the couple but we in our group left as well because we felt like we were being put in a box like we couldnt dance. The casino should really address their bouncers and make sure that theyre only addressing people that are a danger to other people or confrontational with other people which this couple was not. Im writing this review because I believe bar should have Good Vibes and Good Times. The bouncer definitely hurt the business because after that the Dance Floor was empty and people were no longer buying drinks and leaving. Attached is pictures of The Empty empty bar after everyone left. Because in my opinion people did not feel comfortable enough to be themselves at the bar.

Ive never had good service or good mixed drinks at the Gig but I love the atmosphere and the band they had tonight is the reason Im writing this review.. Lucid Street was absolutely amazing.. 5 stars all the way for them..

Very cool place. Pizza and Beer Specials. Great local Bands. Mixed age groups mid 20s to mid 50s. Overall average age 32 - 37.

Great music, awesome staff, and always a good time. You really should consider having SCARS N STRIPES perform more often, they have a huge following. Especially those boring dead summer months.

The music was not very appealing to me, but I liked there design. I was scared of there stairs, they need to change the lights on them!!!

My husband and I were staying at The Tower and were looking for things other then gambling to do. I found that on Thursday nights they have trivia. We had a lot of fun. Also had beer and pizza specials both were great. The atmosphere r was really cool too. Stuff was very nice. One of my favorite things we did on our trip.

I was treated like trash. I was there to support a great local band. Between sets I attempted to re enter. I held up my already stamped hand and jokingly send “I’m with the band”. Wow. All hell broke loose. I was rejected. I had family, local & out of town inside waiting for me. As well as my wife. 45 min later another doorman took over & I was able to get in. The original doorman saw me and I was attacked by multiple security guards. Rough housed. They literally slammed me into the exit door while throwing me out. Please understand. I am a local business owner with much respect & understanding of how business sometimes needs to be conducted. But I was treated like absolute garbage at exit 33. I am here at 3:30am completely coherent and sober as you can probably tell. So PLEASE don’t think that I am just some drunk? Pissed off cause I didn’t get my way. You can’t imagine how this felt unless you’ve experienced it for yourself.

Went not knowing what to expect and ended up listening to my new favorite band maddhaus! The atmosphere and decor is really unique, didnt feel like you were in a casino club...

Step foot in The Gig and youll be brought back to the days of Knitting Factory, CBGBs, and your dingy basement rock bar...This is by far my favorite night spot in the Turning Stone. They have great bands, bartender Joel & his brother Ryan are both awesome and friendly (and theyre from Brooklyn too!), and they have an awesome pizzeria inside too! Jamie is awesome and makes an awesome buffalo chicken pie!Pro tip: From 5-11pm, you can snag any pizza & any pitcher for under $20 total! Order the combo at the pizza area.

Everytime I have been here they have had an awesome band playing! Love to go there after shows to dance and have a few drinks with friends.

Gridley Page was playing, so loud you couldnt even hear what he was singing! No one was dancing just standing on the dancefloor in front of the stage like they were at a rock concert!

Best attraction to the casino in my opinion. No cover charge, amazing talented bands and quick and friendly staff. What more could you want?

I love rocking out to Arena Rock Tribute Band! The Gig is a wonderful place to drink & have tons of great times!

The band played diverse music form the 80s, that you could dance to.The drinks were good, prices are fair

$25 to see a cover band Saturday night, NOT! Went to the scsre-a-con party with Pop Rox instead, no charge to scare-a-con patrons.

The venue is too small. The stage isnt raised enough, so most of the time you cant see the performers.
