Tranquility Spa

A completely mediocre massage. The facility is large and looks nice and the staff are friendly and all, but they just did an OK job. I got a 1hr deep tissue massage and parts of it were great and parts of it were bone on bone (elbow to base of skull) and just painful. The sheets felt rough and cheap and they didnt use an ankle support for the first part of the massage, which didnt feel great. Also, this is the first time that Ive been a new customer at a massage therapist / spa and filled out now paperwork (liability, health history, injury history, etc.) and had basically no discussion or interaction with the therapist before they got to work, which made the whole thing feel impersonal.

I have been searching for a go-to spa/massage spot for years and I may have finally found it. Through the days of working from home, hunched over a computer, and playing sports, Ive needed to get some knots worked out. Im glad I found Jenny at Tranquility Spa. I had a sports massage and it was honestly one of the best -- a unique balance of relaxing, therapeutic, and good pressure (too often at other places, its either a painful elbow or not enough pressure). Overall a great experience from the front desk, through the massage, and even through check out. Thank you!

My husband and I have been there for a couple’s massage. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The receptionist is friendly, and she remembered us the second time we went back there.We knew Jenny and Nancy from their sister location, Serenity in Concord, and that is why we tried Tranquility. Jenny is very thorough, and she always finds the areas that need more attention. Nancy is very strong and skillful. Both ladies are highly recommended!

Jeni is amazing! Wow! One of the best massages Ive ever had, just the right balance of relaxation and pressure. The spa inside is beautifully done. The staff is lovely. Cant wait to go back!

Tranquility Spa is a wonderful new addition to the Walnut Creek day-spa scene, and is far nicer and more modern than other facilities. Its a step above the competition for sure. My favorite masseuse, Lily, just moved to Tranquility and shes the absolute best. Shes the only person I go to now and shes the masseuse I compare everyone else too.

Loved my lymphatic drainage massage!! Nancy covered every corner of my body and was so gentle. She has the hands of an angel. I feel so relaxed 😎 the stones were a nice touch. I recommend Nancy for your next massage at Tranquility Spa. Lee was also amazing and very accommodating when I made my appointment. My husband and I had an excellent couples massage. Cannot say enough good things about the place, the staff, and the massages. The place is very beautiful and serene. The staff is very professional and excellent at massages. We will be back often.

I stopped in spur-of-the-moment to see if I could get a neck and back massage, and they accommodated me right away. Jenny Z. was an excellent masseuse with strong pressure, which is what I prefer. She got deep into the knots and crunchies and worked them out well. She even did cupping. Next time I will go for the 90-minute option instead of the 60 minute. My point is, I will be back!

This is a great new spa run by the folks that run Pleasant Hills best / most popular massage spa - Serenity Spa.This place is amazing! You enter to a very large reception area. Theres a separate waiting area. There are enough rooms (14 I think) for large parties. (Think bridal party, girls night out or other large group celebration.)The décor is new and modern. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathrooms are very clean and theres a shower.Everything that youd want in a spa experience. Throw in the professional atmosphere of Serenity Spa and a couple of their best therapists - Jenny and Nancy and you have a winning combination.Definitely worth a visit!

I noticed the couple massage sign on my way to order pumpkin pie from Sweet Affair. My husband and I went on the following Sunday for our anniversary. It was my first massage since COVID and I didnt realize what a mess my neck was from the work from home set up. Kathy went vertebrae by vertebrae to get me back together --- the hot stones were wonderful too! Jenny was able to work out some of my husbands softball kinks. We both felt inches taller when we left! Thank you!! We will be back!

This place just open up and it been a wonderful experience. My masseuse was Jenny, I been to a lot of spa and got a lot of massage but Jenny the only one that care about. She professional and knows what she’s doing. If you have any pain or need help, she the person you’re looking for. Just trust the process because it hurts but in a good way… Give this place a chance, I’m planning on buying a few gift cards for Christmas.

What a great place. Really big - clean and very spacious. Service is great and I had my appointment with Cathy.Cathy was great and I literally felt a huge difference when I left. I just got back working out and this massage really help relieve my tightness through out my body - highly recommended!!!

I can not recommend Jennie enough. If I could give 100 stars I would. Ask for at least 1.5 hours if you are tall. Amazing attention to when I was getting the most relief from her work. I feel like I’m floating. I’m also going to complete my Christmas shopping early and gift massages to everyone on my list. So good.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Congratulations on the new space! Serenity is my closest spa, but Tranquility is awesome for an end-of-week commute break. Or maybe go on a Saturday before brunch! Wait, thats my idea...let me go first :) Looking forward to going again soon. Cheers
