Great experience here at Massage envy. The place is stunningly decorated, is super clean and appealing to all senses. Receptionist was warm and welcoming. The whole registration process was surprisingly quite detailed unlike other places. Omar paid utmost attention to the health details mentioned and worked effectively on the stress areas mentioned. It is not just any massage place, it is really a wellness place. It was a great experience overall. Will definitely return and recommend to family and friends.

My first experience and it was wonderful from start to finish.Nia was my massage therapist and she was OUTSTANDING!!Absolutely one of the best and most healing massages I have ever had.Her knowledge of the body was truly intuitive.Nia gently checked in throughout to be sure if any adjustments were needed, I felt so taken care of.The facility was spotless and the staff very nurturing.

Phil is amazing!! I always feel relaxed and energized after our session. He has a lot of knowledge and works expertly to alleviate tight muscles and pain.

Emma is amazing! Had the best facial! Emily at the front desk was so helpful, friendly, and kind! Already scheduled another facial for next month. Definitely recommend Massage Envy!

Joanne is incredibly intuitive. She is perfect. I have a tricky back. She is the only therapist that gives me pain relief. I feel like I’m floating on a cloud after my massage.

Probably should mention this, but would feel bad to not acknowledge one of the best massages I’ve ever gotten. Elly was amazing! Perfect amount of pressure to relieve and relax at the same time.I just she doesn’t get too popular where I can’t get an appointment….lol

Emma is great! She takes her time and takes care of making sure she is giving me a customized facial according to what I need and always walks me through the steps. She always gives me suggestion on how to keep my skin young and vibrant at home.

I have been going to Massage Envy In Warren for many years now. Aretha is one of my favorite therapists there. She gives an amazing massage. She has been so kind and understanding as I recovered from treatment for breast cancer. I always feel like I’m in good hands with Aretha. The only reason why I didn’t give Massage Envy five stars is because it’s difficult to track how many sessions you’ve purchased versus how many sessions you’ve used and I wish there was more transparency in that process.

After a night of standing at a concert, I had some sciatic pain. Danica did a great job to relieve it. My back and legs feel great!!

Massage Envy and Warren everybody is very friendly and professional. I suffer tight Muscle in my back pain and sciatic Nerves . Romie knows how to relax my muscles in my back so I’m not in pain.

Been going to Suzzanne since I joined in 2009. There were no openings for a massage when the girl recommended a facial. I was reluctant at first but after the first experience I was hooked. She is very professional and a friendly. Thank you for all years of excellent service.

My massage with Rolmie was 🔥!She pays attention and concentrates on my points of tension every time! My massage on Wednesday, 7/31 was “short but sweet” because I arrived late. However, Rolmie focused on the knots in my upper back and helped to give me some relief! Thank you!

The front desk staff is always attentive and friendly. I see Aretha for my massages. She genuinely listens to you and what you want her to focus on each session. Aretha is also very responsive to your body and can help loosen those really tough muscles. I see Emma for my facials and she is phenomenal. I’ve been blessed to have fairly decent skin my entire life but that doesn’t mean it can’t use a little TLC. Emma explains what she is doing and encourages great home care of my skin. I see Siya for my total body stretch- she is great with checking on how each stretch feels and if anything feels tighter than normal. She instructs the assisted stretch the entire time so you don’t feel lost.

Elly is an amazing masseuse! If you like a deep tissue massage that’s also relaxing at the same time. Give her a try. You will not be disappointed.

I cannot imagine I am the only one this happened to. The massage therapist was late and then left the room to go wash her hands. The massage didnt start for 20 minutes AFTER my scheduled time. It was not deep pressure as requested. The therapists nails were scratching my back because they were so long. And now upon viewing my bank statement I notice that the tip I left was $10 more than I had approved. My advice: DO NOT, under any circumstances, sign up for a membership. They will force you into a 12 month committment with no way out.

A great massage, I feel rejuvenated and my body and muscles don’t ache. I just need to make time to get there more often. Great place, relaxing atmosphere.

The provider was great and did an amazing job taping my back. She really gave me TLC but the receptionist was pushy about buying a package even though I don’t live anywhere near a Massage Envy. Plus there was miscommunication about what treatment I booked.

I learned how unprofessional massage envy of Warren, NJ is today.I have been paying $75 a month membership fee for 3 years and I go once every 4 for 6 months. I have over 11 free massages; I typically gift them to friends or family.I requested to cancel service a few months back and was told I need to fill out a form and email it back. I didnt do that because I was busy but I kept the service.June 2023 they could not process my payment because I have a replacement card. My wife occasionally reminds me to use the service so she called to set up a massage and was told my account is about to go into collections; This set off an entirely different conversation.We scheduled an appointment to use one of the 11 sessions I have already paid for. I arrive and was told they need a card on file to check me in. I inquired about canceling due to not using the service and I requested a copy of the contract since I was on a month to month membership, I should not be forced to pay to continue the service.I was speaking with Iesha who presented herself as the assistant manager. Iesha told me that her manager said there is no contract they can give me and no copy of a policy stating that I can not use the sessions I already paid for if my account is suspended.I argued if I am month to month, there should be no requirement to continue paying for the service which feels like extortion forcing me to continue the membership in order to use what I have already paid for.I asked for the name of the manager who relayed this information to Iesha. Iesha declined to provide the last name of the manager for proper identification and declined to provide her last name for proper identification stating, you are not law enforcement etc so I dont have to give you my last name.I was totally shocked to experience this level of unprofessionalism at this location.I have paid for 3 years rarely using the service. I have over 11 sessions that I already paid for and was denied access to these prepaid services unless i pay $75 for June. If I was provided with a contract or policy stating such, I would have had no problem paying the $75 although I still disagree.I will be filing a small claims court case against this branch on monday. I have an audio recording of the entire exchange which I am completely cordial. Iesha straight out told me that there is nothing they can give me in writtig stipulating what has been relayed to me. ​​

Today I had a one hour massage with Omar. I chose the Warren location to meet a friend there for massages. Recently I started yoga so my lower back was sore. Omar gave me a deep tissue massage focusing on that area. Omar was courteous and the massage was the best I’ve ever had. He focused on my lower back and still managed to massage my whole body. I felt relief, relaxed and wanting to come back. Leslie at the front desk was very helpful and happily answered my questions. I highly recommend Warren ME.

Massages are ok at best. DO NOT FALL FOR THE MEMBERSHIP SCAM!!!!! If you want a massage go and get one, but do not let anyone sell you a membership. I lost thousands of dollars in accrued memberships and the management was unwilling to help me and rude at times . I finally just donated the memberships and decided that losing thousands of dollars was better than supporting this business. Hopefully the new junk laws will prevent them from behaving like used car dealers.

I am been practicing martial arts a long time,Elith is very skillful in getting all the knots out. The 90 minute deep tissue massage is highly recommended.

Warren location had complexity in check out as I was a visiting ME member. Putting a college student to make simple steps complex drained me out after my 60 minutes massage yesterday.

I wished the sessions never had to end. Omar is good at what he does. I felt renewed after the massage. Thank you.

Impossible to schedule massages unless you book weeks in advance. Mediocre massages overall. Cant cancel without losing unused massages so feels stuck without losing hundreds of dollars worth of massages. NEVER JOIN YOU CANT EASILY GET OUT!

By far the worst massage. 1 whole hour spent on my back when i specifically spoke to the front desk and the therapist himself about the areas I needed worked on.The guy tells me after the 1 hr massage that I should get the 90 minute service next time. I am a massage therapist myself and I am capable of targeting certain areas a client asks for while still doing full body. He claimed to have had 4years experience.. it seemed he has less than that. Not only that he was a few minutes late. I would not recommend coming to this location. $60 out of pocket for a 1 hr massage that only focused on my back. I am still left in pain in the areas that were not targeted. The front desk girl was polite but the therapist completely ripped me off and did not help me with the issues I asked about when I spoke to both the front desk employee and the therapist himself

I recently went back to Massage Envy for a massage for the first time after the pandemic. The COVID-19 safety procedures were reassuring. They will text you a link to check in, everyone is wearing a mask, even during your massage session.Originally, I was going to cancel my Membership and I had scheduled a massage to use up my points left over due to my hiatus during the pandemic. My massage therapist was Aretha. She was so phenomenal, that I decided not to cancel my membership. Her technique was firm but not painful, her pressure was just the right amount. Normally you only feel the effects of the massage for a short time after the session, but Arethea was able to work out my sore muscles and dissipate the lactic acid so that the benefits of the massage was felt for at least a couple of days after the massage. I will definitely be going back to Arethea next month!Oh I also find that the Massage Envy and Warren tend to have better therapists in the Massage Envy in Chester. So although Chester is closer to my house, I drive the extra 10 minutes for regular appointments at the Warren location.

I was scheduled for a facial today. My appt was 3:15. The facial started at 3:40. It was over by 4:20. It is supposed to be 1 hr minus 5 min in and 5 min out. Gloria rushed right through it and I was shorted 10 min. It was the fastest facial I have ever had. It was obvious she wanted to leave and she did because she was in the parking lot before I got to my car. Not relaxing, not full time put in, completely rushed. Never again there.

I had a membership there for just over 2 years. Was relatively happy for that time. However! When I attempted to cancel the membership I had nothing but problems. I emailed all the appropriate paperwork in and heard nothing back that there was any issue. The following month, I received a call from the manager telling me they had just billed my payment and would I like to schedule an appointment. Seriously? I informed her that I emailed the completed cancellation paperwork 5 weeks earlier. She apologized and said that she would refund my payment; which she did. Fast forward 4 weeks... Giving the prior month, I was checking my statement and sure enough there it was! My monthly payment. Tried calling, but this happened to be the week they were overhauling the lobby so I left a message but did not receive a call back once they reopened. I have mobility limitations making it a difficult to hop in the car. But this was now ridiculous so I drove down with paperwork in hand. The girl behind the counter seemed very confused at my complaint but she would be able refund my payment; again it was. She explained that only the manager could cancel a membership. Wait for it... Yup. The manager wasnt in. I was definitely upset, but was in no way irate or even raising my voice. While trying to explain that I had the paperwork with me and I would leave it for her manager, she proceeded speak over me on more than one occasion with a snotty tone and responses that had no relevance. I immediately shifted gears saying she did not need to get pissy. She was shocked and apologized that I would even think that. Perhaps she was too young, to new or just doesnt care to understand how customer service works. Her co-worker at the counter was of no assistance as she was the same age. Amazingly, she was able to cancel my membership without her manager or my leaving the paperwork. Never again.As for Massage Envy requesting I contact them directly to handle any issues... Sorry. That ship sailed. I had tried on a few occasions to do that but you failed miserably. You want better reviews? Handle issues promptly and appropriately when they arise from your customers.

I was told to come 15 minutes early for my 4pm appointment to fill out medical history which I did quickly. The receptionist explained that the appointment starts at 4pm where I have five minutes to get undressed, 50 minutes of massage and 5 minutes at the end to get dressed. I waited until 410 and finally went to the front desk to see what was going on. They apparently forgot to check me in. The therapist came out and got me and the massage really didn’t begin until almost 420. I specifically asked if the massage would be cut short and was assured it would not be.But then the power went out and a generator kicked in. The therapist continued the massage for a few more minutes and then kind of hurried up and told me that we were finished. I looked at my watch and it was 457. Which means only a 37 min massage. I understand that the power went and it’s out of their control but when I came out they had me hand write my credit card info and said they would call me. I told them that my time was cut short, they were apologetic but were clear that I would be charged the full amount because it was out of their control. They said they could reschedule a free service to make up for itBut later that night when they called to verify the credit card payment they stated that I would have to come back and pay for a service and a free “add on” would be given to me. That is unacceptable in my opinion specifically because my service was so delayed.I give two stars because the therapist was good. But overall horrible experience and I feel like I was jipped. Would not return

Beware before signing up with this location. There is a 12 month no cancelation clause that they do NOT tell you about and buried so deep in the iPad screen you will not see it. Terrible business practice. I will be canceling as soon as possible. I dont appreciate being lied to.

The last review I wrote was over 3 years ago, I have since returned to this massage envy and my massage therapist Phil was AMAZING ! I highly recommend him for massages and he was beyond professional and was thorough with his consultation and his massage.

Understand why ME in Warren has 3.5 stars. If I could give this particular ME 0 stars, I would. Went to ME because the place I normally go to was totally booked and I needed a massage desperately (sciatic issues and lifting something poorly at the gym). After driving all the way there and completing all their forms, the therapist said that she wasn’t comfortable working on me because if I injured myself she didn’t want to risk making it worse. Um, isn’t that what therapists do? Help you recover from an injury or sciatic pain? Anyhow, called Hand and Stone in Piscataway (my regular joint) and they were able to fit me into a cancellation.So if you feel great with no issues, maybe ME is your jam. Me? I’ve learned my lesson and will never go to a ME anywhere, for any reason. HAND AND STONE IS WHERE TO GO.

However, recently I have been completely dissatisfied with the customer service and communication from Nicole, the manager, who is extremely rude and the staff that gives inconsistent and incomplete information. I do not recommend this location under the current management.
