Wat Po Thai Spa - West Hollywood

This place was very disappointing. I scheduled a week in advance for a massage and requested a male massage therapist. They changed my appointment twice prior to the massage. Once finally solidified I come for my appointment this morning really needing a massage and they tell me oh, we let someone else go in with the male therapist we scheduled for you but we can have a lady do your massage. I said no thanks for wasting my time and left.

Love this place, like walking into a little place in Thailand. Easy to make an appointment and great price for value. Tammy and the other ladies do an amazing job and makes you feel like new , everything hurts so good!!

I have to say I love the service, courtesy, and professionalism at Wat pho! Checked in at the counter and requested for a deep tissue massage due to a week of travel for work and god.. was my upper and lower back and also my shoulders screaming in need of a good ol’ massage. Soon after I settled in the worker that goes by the name, “Yaya” asked me was there any part that she needed to be aware of and should focus on before the session even started and I told her which areas of my back I needed work and damn… I left there feeling relieved of the aches that I had during my work trip. I highly recommend Wat Po 10/10!(Personally due to my previous experience I had I now find myself making appointments with the same worker named, “Yaya” because she just gets it you guys and her technique and understanding of the human body anatomy is flawless so if you see this review and request for her please give this a like so others can experience good work at its finest. I experienced one of the worst massages ever at this establishment. They do not know anything about Thai massage, nor do they follow any sort of method/order on each side of the body. The techniques were not even on the left and right side; I asked to focus on one area, and they never touched that area. My therapist just poked and prodded, very uneven pressure throughout, and I left early. Know what you are getting into if you go to this place. Do not recommend!

SCAM. Run away if you do not want to have your money stolen and end up in pain. Went there for Thai massage and they only thing I did not receive was that. I have been getting massages twice a week for last several years so I am familiar will all kinds of massages including Thai. The woman was completely clueless jumping randomly from one part of the body to another and from applying extreme inappropriate amount of force on the sensitive areas to walking on my body to applying the stinkiest oil on me non of which is Thai. A day later any place this woman touched is in pain and I cannot move my neck. First ever review I am doing for a massage place after being to tens of places to give you an idea how bad these guys are.

I bought a groupon for a couples 90min Thai massage with paraffin for the hands. The place is located on second floor of strip mall that doesnt look too attractive from the outside. If youve never had a Thai massage I will warn you that is very different from a normal idea of a traditional massage. When you arrive you will remove your shoes and they will take you into a larger room separated by curtains with a cushion mat where you will lay. No massage tables here. For both men and women they will give you loose bottoms similar to scrubs. Then for 60 or 90minutes they will use elbows, fists, and feet to push and pull your body, even stepping on your back at one point. I truly enjoyed it. Theres nothing like a real Thai massage. I think we got a great deal on groupon and I would recommend it. Now the staff is nice but not overly friendly or talkative. So dont expect first class service like if youre at the Ritz. But definitely expect an awesome massage that almost feels like a workout. Also, be sure to mention areas of concern. For example my husband has a pin near his hip and he felt a little pain around that area during the massage. They didnt ask so he never said anything. But other than that relax and enjoy.

They offer amazing 90 minute Thai massages with a lot of pressure. Audi is my massage therapist and he is very intuitive. He knows the exact parts of your body that needs attention. Wat po also offers aromatherapy for your hands where they tip your hands in this hot wax like material and your Hands will soak in this for about 30 minutes. They then peel it off and yours hands are nice and soft. This location has free parking and has a promotion for a 60 minute massage on weekday afternoons for $40!

I had a really good massage session with one of the guys. I had pulled a nerve in my back, and I firmly.beliebe the massage helped quite a bit on the recovery. The Massage was ROUGH but I went for the recovery not relaxing so it was worth it
